Archery hunting in this region of the Midwest offers an exciting, action-packed experience when done with the right techniques. Since taking over from previous ownership, efforts have been made to enhance the archery experience for hunters. Cold weather often signals increased movement of mature bucks, while does and younger bucks tend to maintain consistent patterns throughout the season, regardless of temperature. As the weather cools, mature bucks become more active, increasing the chances of spotting a trophy Indiana Whitetail. To promote the health and safety of the wildlife, hunters are required to follow a 130" minimum size rule for bucks.
