Wild Turkey Hunt in Texas Hill Country - Guided or Semi-Guided
We have plentiful turkey at our ranch, they love to roost in the large trees that line the creek that runs through the property. Turkey hunts are either fully or semi-guided, depending on hunter experience and at our preference. Turkey hunts are available either morning or afternoon. We have found mornings to be more productive, however, we have had numerous productive evening hunts as the turkey make their way back to the roost.

Guaranteed Opportunity Whitetail Deer Hunt in Hill Country
All hunts are fully guided. The pricing of the hunt includes a guaranteed shot at the animal of choice, in this case either a white-tailed doe, a management buck, or a trophy buck. There are abundant white-tailed deer on the property, and if someone pays for a certain white-tailed (doe/management buck/trophy deer), we will do everything in our power to get you in a position to get an ethical shot on that animal, this includes bringing the hunter back over several days if needed in order to get a shot on the deer of choice.

Hill Country Varmint Variety Hunt, Great for Kids
This is a great guided hunting option, especially those wanting to hunt with children. There are abundant shot opportunities on Lonesome Whale Ranch for: rabbits, armadillos, raccoons, coyotes, bobcats and possums.
The guided hunts start at sundown, and includes cruising around Lonesome Whale Ranch with thermal scopes and harvesting any number of invasive varmints we have around the property.

This ranch has a six-acre lake and three smaller stock tanks, all of which attract ducks during the appropriate season. Duck hunts last from an hour prior to sun rise, until lunch time or so. Hunts can be either fully or semi-guided.
