Team Swamp Stomp is a family-oriented hunting and fishing operation started by Jason Misenheimer. This all started as kids hunting together with hog dogs. Team Swamp Stomp quickly gained attention because of the number of hogs they were taking. When the boys started high school, they started a Facebook page, got t-shirts, and started guiding a few hunts for people who knew about the fun they were having. In 2017, Jason decided to chase a dream. He turned his hobby into a business and hasn’t turned back! Team Swamp Stomp strives to be different than other hunting areas. They have a focus on a wholesome, family atmosphere where foul language and crude jokes are rarely heard. The TSS guides hold themselves to a high standard. The team is made up of family and close friends who have a passion for the outdoors and sharing it with others. Team Swamp Stomp has been blessed to grow into a full time guide service entertaining guests from all over the world. This business is built on honesty, integrity, and adventure!

Thermal Hog Hunting - 2x1
Texas Style THERMAL hog hunting trips are typically structured as “spot and stalk” type hunts that start just before sundown. Our experienced guides will take hunters of any skill level through our safety course so they can feel totally ready for their night time hog experience. Over the course of four hours, we take hunting vehicles to multiple wild hog hunting areas, including both low fence and hunting preserve properties. Hunters will get the chance to scan the area with thermal and night vision devices in order to spot hogs and coyotes, as well as other non target species. Once hogs are spotted, your Texas hunting adventure is about to get WILD! We try to stalk up less than 75 yards from our target. We often see large trophy boars, as well as sounders of large numbers of wild hogs. Your guide will safely line up the shooters, and then it is up to you to knock down UNLIMITED hogs. That’s right, our thermal hunt has NO HOG LIMIT.

This hog hunt is designed for the ultimate thrill seekers and hard-core hunters! Chasing invasive wild hogs in Texas with hounds is about as fun as it gets! Our team of bay dogs will be turned out on the scent trail of the hogs, and will run until they find them. We suit up pit bulls with kevlar vests and make our approach. The bay dogs corral the hog until we can send in a catch dog from less than 50 yards away. We follow immediately behind the catch dog and send a client or guide in to grab the back legs of the hog while another client dispatches the wild pig with a knife. These hunts can range over hundreds of yards. Hunters should expect to walk up to 3 miles. Getting to the dogs is urgent for their safety and our success. We are fully confident in the safety of this epic hog hunt. We have assembled a group of excellent guides and dogs, and we can accommodate large groups of hunters in multiple teams. This is a great day time hog hunting opportunity and is sure to make your heart pump!
