Snipe Hunt on Large Florida Public Property
Snipe Hunting is just a practical joke, right? Well, not quite… at Fox Brown Outfitters Snipe Hunting actually exists. Snipe are small birds; brown, white, rust and black in color, with elongated beaks. The key to finding these birds is finding mud filled, wet, and dark soiled areas. Waterproof boots are essential for hunting snipe.
Snipe hunting is regulated by the state and availability is controlled based on current conditions. Snipe are allowed to be harvested in Florida from November 1st, to February 15th, with an eight bird bag-limit. But don’t be fooled, it will be hard to tag out, these little birds fly fast, and as soon as you think you’ve got a shot, they dive, dip, and bolt the opposite direction! This hunt is for the sportsman looking for a challenge! This hunt includes lunch and the cleaning and packaging of your snipe. Shotguns may be rented and extra shells are available at an additional cost.

Morning Alligator Hunts typically start around 9:00 am on our private water hunts and around 6:30 am on public water hunts. The length of the hunt depends on where we are hunting, the number and size of gator(s) you are after. A rough average would be 3 to 4 hours for a gator hunt. We can cater your hunt to the experience you are looking for. **We transport your Gator(s) to the processor and taxidermist so you don’t have to. **Have your hunt filmed and take home a DVD for you to share with family and friends. A DVD of your hunt is available for $200 and is well worth it! The time frame for our hunts is no different than a late dinner or an early morning fishing trip. We’re very proud to say that we have a team of professional snake-hunting dogs to track and capture pythons in the Everglades. These snakes are hard to find and make their nests even harder to find. Our dog’s ability to track these reptiles by scent and locate nests has changed the game. Together we found more python nests than every other python hunter combined last season.
Unlike other python hunters, we're not taking y'all on a trip in the cab of a truck looking for snakes along roadsides and levies. We're loading up the dogs and taking the boat out to the middle of nowhere to the "Python Islands" to find snakes and their nests deep in the wilds of the Florida Everglades.
The python islands of the Everglades offer some of the hardest hunting available. The thick vegetation and brutal bugs are just the first things you'll need to think about. You've got to watch your back for alligators and watch your step for water moccasins. Hunting these islands is not for the faint of heart and that's where our team of professional python hunting guides comes in.

Morning Alligator Hunts typically start around 9:00 am on our private water hunts and around 6:30 am on public water hunts. The length of the hunt depends on where we are hunting, the number and size gator(s) you are after. A rough average would be 3 to 4 hours for a gator hunt. We can cater to your hunt to the experience you are looking for. **We transport your Gator(s) to the processor and taxidermist so you don’t have to. **Have your hunt filmed and take home a DVD for you to share with family and friends. A DVD of your hunt is available for $200 and well worth it! The time frame for our hunts is no different than a late dinner or an early morning fishing trip. If you have a specific time you want to be on or off the water we will gladly accommodate the timing of your trip to meet your needs. Capt. So we take full advantage of this opportunity. There is also no license or permits required. Our wild hog hunts include guide, transportation, cleaning and quartering of all harvested hogs. Processing and packaging of your wild hog can be arranged at an additional charge with one of our local processors. Clients can choose from several different options such as half day, full day, and night time hunts. You can bring your own weapon or rent one of ours, archery hunters are welcome. And don't worry about hidden fees or trophy fees because we don't have any of those. This hunt is fun for the whole family of all ages. We do not have a minimum or maximum restriction on group size. Upon arrival; our professional guides will go over the rules of the ranch and have everyone in your party sign in before heading out for the hunt. All transportation is provided while on the ranch both to and from our hog hunting locations. Once you harvest a wild hog our guides will assist with blood trailing and the extraction of the wild hog and then head to the cleaning facility to perform the cleaning and quartering which is included in the hog hunt at no additional charge. Hunting the marshes and swamps of Lake Okeechobee for ducks is an experience in itself. Not only do we hunt on the famous Lake Okeechobee, we also hunt various public water lakes and rivers as well as private land. On our private waters, we hunt a mixture of swamps on private ranches and big reservoirs on dairies. We chase the ducks so each hunt could be in a different location.
On day one we might run the airboat in the shallow marshes of Lake Okeechobee. The next morning take the mud boat out into some open water to try ringers, then pack up and go to a private dairy to hunt in a reservoir to knock down some black bellies. No matter what type of hunt you are looking for we will accommodate. If you are looking to complete your ultimate waterfowl challenge, then we can help you with that.

4-Hour Mourning Dove Hunt in South Florida
Your dove hunt experience starts with registration at our base camp. Our seasoned guides will transport you to carefully selected fields, positioning you strategically to maximize safety and respect for fellow hunters. Staying still is crucial to prevent disturbing the doves as they approach.
Hunts typically begin around 1:00 PM and last three to four hours, influenced by bird activity and weather conditions. Once you’ve reached your bag limit, our guides will assist you in locating your harvest and answer any queries you may have, ensuring a fulfilling hunting session.

Florida Gator Hunt
Our hunts normally start out between 9-10 a.m unless otherwise scheduled to take place earlier/later. Upon arrival we will meet up with you and discuss what size gator you're after, and make sure each person participating in the hunt has obtained the proper licensing needed. After going over the details of the hunt and getting each participants waiver signed, we then head out to do a spot-and-stalk type hunt.
We will be hunting by foot and using 4x4 side by sides to hunt from. Once we have located the right size gator you‘re after we’ll use offshore style fishing rods to snag the gator with a treble hook, and hand the rod off the hunter to fight the gator up to the bank. From there on out it is up to you to collect your trophy by using a bangstick, handgun, bow, etc. to take the gator. Once the hunt is finished we will be sure to take plenty of pictures, bring the kills back to our processing facility, and discuss taxidermy options.
Gator hunts have a base price of $900 for a 6-7' gator, but then increase based on the size: $1,200 for 7-8', $1,500 for 8-9', $2,250 for 9-10', $3,570 for 10-11', $6,500 for 11-12', $10,000 for 12-12.5', $12,500 for 12.5-13', and $15,000 for 13'+. Non–hunter member add ons: If people in your party/group are not going to participate in the hunt, they do not need any license or permit. All spectators are welcome to come along on your Townsend & Sons hunt free of charge. However, if they are 16 years old or older and would like to help you hunt alligators, they will also need to purchase the $51.50 Alligator Farming Agent License. Youth, ages 15 and younger, do not need an Agent License to assist in Alligator hunting.
What to Wear: We recommend wearing a lightweight short or long sleeve shirt, close-toed shoes, and long pants. We leave it totally up to you to wear what you will feel you most comfortable in. It's not necessary to wear camouflage, but we typically wear neutral or earth toned colors (green, brown, black, etc.) If you are sensitive to the sun we recommend wearing a hat, as well as sunscreen. Bug spray is always a great idea as we never seem to have a shortage of bugs here in south Florida!

Alligators are located in canals, ponds, lakes, marshes, cypress bottoms, and swamps. No Florida hunting or fishing license is required, however, an Alligator Trapping Agents license is required to hunt alligator in Florida. We do not hunt behind fences or within enclosures, and we never use alligators caught in the wild and placed for hunters. Our hunts are all free-range, meaning we only target wild alligators on open lands. Additionally, we do not use drugs or refrigerants to make the alligators lethargic.
Our hunts employ advanced methods and equipment to ensure effectiveness and safety. We offer some of the best quail habitat and upland bird hunting in South Florida. With three fields to choose from; The Gallberries, The Pines, and The Palmettos; named after their terrain, you are sure to get a unique experience in whichever field you choose.
This hunt includes 12 birds per person per half day hunt, lunch, and the cleaning and packaging of your quail. Additional quail may be taken in the field for an extra charge.
