Deer hunting consists of hunting in our 700-acre trophy managed high fence preserve. We specialize in natural game and wildlife management. Our goal is to make each hunter’s dream come true by producing quality trophy whitetail and providing the ultimate hunting experience. Hunts are conducted on a fully guided one-on-one basis. Hunts can take place in a 9×5 insulated shooting house, ladder stand, spot and stalk or rattling. We make it our number one priority to make sure you get a chance at your dream buck.
All Whitetail packages are priced per person. This hunt has no minimum number of people needed. Hunts are not guarantees but we will do everything in our power to help you shoot your target buck. Each Price includes: 3 Days, 2 Nights Stay, 1 Round of Sporting Clays 5-Stand/ Day, Unlimited Rifle Range Usage, A Guide, Dressing & Caping, Sealed Cuts (if requested) Coordination of taxidermy services, All meals during your stay: Country-style breakfast, lunch, and gourmet dinners, Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres each night. Our whitetail hunts are not garnered; however we do have a very high success rate and are scouting constantly to insure your hunt is successful. If for some reason you do not harvest a deer, we only charge a nightly rate of $375 for your stay and all Lodge amenities. We try our best to recover all wounded deer. Wounded and non-recovered deer count as a fallen deer so we encourage use of our rifle range as well and are happy to give assistance and tips in shooting your dream whitetail.
Gourmet Dining: With a mixture of locally sourced and always of the highest and freshest quality, our chef combines a field-to-table philosophy with traditional fine dining and southern flare. With selections such as filet mignon and potato au gratin, to a house made cheesecake, gator bites, famous wings, and a grilled romaine salad, every meal is a mouthwatering treat of southern cuisine. Our 12,000 contiguous acres of Tombigbee River bottom and mixed pine/hardwood stands are managed exclusively for wild turkey. We hunt both quail and pheasant on our upland bird hunts. From traditional quail hunting to our European Pheasant hunts, we are able to offer a variety of hunting styles that will test shooting skills.
If non-stop action is what you are looking for, we suggest a European Pheasant Hunt. 10 birds are released per hunter and we require a minimum of 10 shooters and can arrange a hunt for 20. Alabama has many different land features from meadows and fields to wooded forest and rugged terrains of low mountains, all lending to fantastic dove shooting. When it comes to dove hunting in Alabama has over fifty-one thousand square miles of land to choose from, however, few places compare to our lodge (though, we might be a bit biased).
The dove is part of the pigeon family and is almost worldwide in distribution. While most abundant in warm, tropical countries, they are prevalent enough in Alabama to provide a most memorable shooting experience. Dove hunting in Alabama is similar to most areas, where the game birds dwell in trees or on the ground and feed on seeds, fruit and insects. The distinctive rapid flight speed makes shooting a challenge, and for this reason many sportsmen make a point to go out in search for the dove’s cooing each fall.
Hunters interested in dove shooting Alabama can recognize this game bird by its distinctive physical features: small head, short neck, stout body with short legs, sleek greyish plumage and the trademark fleshy protuberance at the base of the bill. Dove shooting is often done when the birds fly to or from their roost, or nesting area; a dove will build a loose, nearly flat nest of twigs, bark, straw, and weeds. Dove hunting in Alabama revolves almost completely around the mourning dove, as you will not find other species in this region. Dream Ranch has set out to be the top hunting and fishing resort in the Southeast. We believe that to achieve this Dream we needed a lodge that is more than just a hunting lodge. After driving up the paved, forest-lined entrance, the 14,000 square foot log and stone lodge is a safe haven from the outside world and has become one of the premier personal and corporate retreats in the southeast. The lodge offers eight bedrooms with personal baths and the ability to house up to 25 comfortably.

Two-Day Goose Hunt
Chattokee Lodge offers the finest wild duck and goose hunting available in this area. Our ponds are designed and built for waterfowl hunting. We typically have good populations of mallards, gadwall, teal, and wood ducks that frequent our hunting areas.
If you prefer to strictly goose hunt, we have huge flocks of resident geese that visit our agricultural fields and the flats on Lake Weiss. We are also fortunate that Alabama offers an early goose season that typically begins September 1st with very liberal limits. Scheduling early goose hunts is dependent on the corn harvest.

If you’re looking for the best in Eastern wild turkey hunting, you’ll find it here at our lodge in Alabama. Our 12,000 contiguous acres of Tombigbee River bottom and mixed pine/hardwood stands are managed exclusively for wild turkey. Our intensively managed upland areas and miles of roadside management zones provide excellent nesting and brood habitat that keep our turkey numbers on the rise year after year.
Depending on group size, each guest will have anywhere from 800 to 1000 acres to hunt, ensuring plenty of room to set their sights on a gobbling bird. Our turkey hunts are one-on-one guided by our veteran staff. Our guides are expert in turkey hunting in Alabama with the skills necessary to help the beginner hunter be successful, or provide landscape knowledge to the seasoned hunter who prefers going head-to-head with one of our wary longbeards.

Dream Ranch is managed especially for quality game bird cover. Enjoy traditional bobwhite quail hunting in plantation style, while experiencing a wide variety of terrain. Grain sorghum, milo, Egyptian wheat, and pine thickets have all been planted to enhance the population of quail. All hunts include premium 20 & 28 gauge shotgun shells as well as an unlimited bag limit.
Package Inclusions: All quail field hunts packages are priced per person. This hunt has no minimum number of people needed. Each day includes: 2 hunts, No-limit birds, 1 round of sporting clays 5-stand, Guide dogs, Field guides, Field transportation, Birds, dressed and vacuum packed, 1 night’s lodging, Meals at the lodge (number depending on your arrival and departure), Country-style breakfast, lunch, gourmet dinner, Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres.
Check-in is before lunchtime at 11am. Depart after lunchtime the next day. Room check-out is required before leaving for your morning hunt. Dream Ranch has set out to be the top hunting and fishing resort in the Southeast. We believe that to achieve this Dream we needed a lodge that is more than just a hunting lodge. After driving up the paved, forest-lined entrance, the 14,000 square foot log and stone lodge is a safe haven from the outside world and has become one of the premier personal and corporate retreats in the southeast. The lodge offers eight bedrooms with personal baths and the ability to house up to 25 comfortably.

Gourmet Dining: With a mixture of locally sourced and always of the highest and freshest quality, our chef combines a field-to-table philosophy with traditional fine dining and southern flare. With selections such as filet minion and potato au gratin, to a house made cheesecake, gator bites, famous wings, and a grilled romaine salad, every meal is a mouthwatering treat of southern cuisine. Turkey Hunting in the Foothills of the Appalachian Mountains
We are blessed to be in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains where large populations of Eastern Wild Turkey call home. It would be a pleasure to be your host as you match your skills with these awesome birds. Our experienced guides will use all their knowledge and “tricks” to put a big gobbler within range of your gun or bow.
Seasoned turkey hunters who prefer to hunt alone are invited as well. We have exclusive hunting rights to all of our properties and will be glad to “fill you in” on the land and what the birds typically do on that particular property.
We will accommodate one group up to four hunters per week for a maximum of 3 days. Alabama toms can and will become very “educated” if they are pressured and gobbling can stop. As mentioned, minimizing hunting pressure is an ongoing management tool which ensures the best chance of success.
Our turkey land consists of bottomland hardwoods, gentle rolling hills and pastures to steep ridges and hollows. With this diversity in our hunting land, we can accommodate everyone regardless of physical condition.
We now have several properties in Georgia that extends our hunting season through the middle of May.
