We have a hands-on approach to our hog hunts, running our highly trained team of hog dogs and getting up close and personal with some big boars. When the dogs pick up a scent, the hunt is on! We track hogs through thick, swampy terrain until we corner a keeper. Trust us when we say, this is a hunt you'll never forget.
Due to the devastation feral hogs can create in Florida ecosystems, there is no season and no bag limit. We hunt wild hogs year-round. These aren't your average farm pigs. These are wild boars, ferocious beasts that can grow to enormous sizes and inflict serious damage. From the time the dogs pick up the scent until you take the shot, it's an adrenaline-pumping experience.
While there's nothing like hunting with the dogs, and no arguing they're the best tool for the job, we also offer thermal optic night hunts. Using a Pulsar Thermal Monocular, we can spot and hunt hogs at night with ease. This hunt is not guaranteed, however, we monitor all treestands and feeders closely with game imaging cameras and will not schedule a hunt or place you in a location unless we have recently and consistently seen hogs at that location.

Our Florida whitetail deer hunts are conducted on approximately 9,800 acres of private land. All land is quality managed and has been since the early 1930's. Clients are encouraged to harvest mature whitetails; however, we do follow the state of Florida rules and regulations minimum requirement of 3 points on one side for antlered deer. At Black Tine Outfitters we don't have second jobs; we maintain feeders, food plots, and mineral sites on a yearly basis. We believe this provides a valuable food source and helps in keeping a stable and healthy herd. Combined with over 40 years of experience hunting and guiding throughout the state of Florida; rest assured that Black Tine Outfitters can put you where the deer are.
We offer several different hunting packages including whitetail deer and wild hog combo hunts, everything from 2 day hunts to 5 day hunts. We utilize ladder stands, shooting houses, and ground blinds to ensure your safety is first priority. All transportation to and from hunting locations is provided, including extraction, cleaning, and quartering of harvested game. You will also find that we do not believe in trophy fees. Over the years, we have had several clients harvest whitetails scoring in the mid 130 to low 140 class range with no additional trophy fees applied. The Seminole whitetail can be very challenging. It is often compared to hunting its sub-species, the coues deer, to the west. Terrain is thick and oftentimes marshy. Florida's unpredictable climate, combined with its extreme humidity, can make the practice of quality scent control almost impossible. The rut season for the Seminole whitetail can also be very unpredictable as our seasonal temperatures can vary dramatically day to day, causing the rut to inconsistently "turn on" and "turn off." Clients are encouraged to take their hunt serious and apply the basic fundamentals of whitetail hunting to their hunt with us as harvesting a mature Seminole whitetail can be difficult but is also a well-respected trophy. The average 4 1/2 year old buck harvested on our farms typically scores between 100"-115" and will weigh approximately 145-170 lbs depending on the time of year.

We have access to thousands of acres right here in south Florida to try to slow down the coyote problem which is taking over much of the united states.

Tower Shoots offer the excitement of being in a group setting while enjoying live bird shooting! 400 Ringneck pheasants will be released from an elevated tower surrounded by 10 two person shooting stations. Hunters will rotate clockwise every 40 birds to ensure fair opportunity.

Thermal imaging optics effectively translate heat- that is, thermal energy- into visible light to analyze surroundings. Living things and mechanical equipment generate heat, making them detectable even in total darkness. These optics can be very precise, requiring only a small amount of heat to work effectively. The level of thermal radiation emitted by an object is called its heat signature. The hotter an object is, the greater the signature will be. The thermal imaging optic is capable of distinguishing heat sources and very small differences in thermal signature. It compiles this data into a complete "heat image" distinguished by heat levels.
Utilizing this equipment in the hunting industry has been proven to be a valuable asset in feral hog population control. Quality Florida Alligator Day-Hunt
The single day alligator hunts are a little more laid back than the multi-night boat hunts. The alligator hunts in Florida are primarily done during the day in lakes or ponds. A crossbow, regular bow, gun, fishing pole, or baited hook is the primary method of harvesting gators on this type of hunt. If you are a first time alligator hunter a day hunt may be a good option. The thrill of seeing alligators in the light of day is something all first time hunters should experience. Day hunts are a little less intense as well. You will scan the Florida swamps by boat and when a gator is spotted we will attempt to snag it – that’s when the fight begins.
Once the gator is snagged you will have the opportunity to harvest it with your weapon of choice. Rifle hunts allow for longer shots, 25 to 30 yards, and archery, spear or other methods require getting a little closer. God's Country rifle gator hunts are only available on private land day hunts. This is a great option as rifles allow the hunter the opportunity for longer kill shots. Many hunters will choose to bring multiple weapons on the hunt, the way a hunt unfolds may dictate which weapon is used in the kill shot on the alligator.
When you contact us about planning your hunt we will answer questions and give advice to help you choose the best weapon options to make your Florida gator hunt exciting and successful! As with any hunt, an archery hunt is much more challenging for Florida alligators than some of the other weapon options. Bow hunters will need to be experienced to be successful with this hunt. Shot distances are usually pretty short with archery hunts but a clean shot is necessary whether it’s a night or day alligator hunt. A 60 lb. draw is sufficient and you will need a fishing rig attachment. We recommend practicing precise short shots prior to your hunt.

Our Florida whitetail deer hunts are conducted on approximately 9,800 acres of private land. All land is quality managed and has been since the early 1930's. Clients are encouraged to harvest mature whitetails; however, we do follow the state of Florida rules and regulations minimum requirement of 3 points on one side for antlered deer. At Black Tine Outfitters, we don't have second jobs; we maintain feeders, food plots, and mineral sites on a yearly basis. We believe this provides a valuable food source and helps in keeping a stable and healthy herd. Combined with over 40 years of experience hunting and guiding throughout the state of Florida, rest assured that Black Tine Outfitters can put you where the deer are.
We offer several different hunting packages including whitetail deer and wild hog combo hunts, everything from 2 day hunts to 5 day hunts. We utilize ladder stands, shooting houses, and ground blinds to ensure your safety is first priority. All transportation to and from hunting locations is provided, including extraction, cleaning, and quartering of harvested game. You will also find that we do not believe in trophy fees. Over the years we have had several clients harvest whitetails scoring in the mid 130 to low 140 class range with no additional trophy fees applied. The Seminole whitetail can be very challenging. It is often compared to hunting its sub-species, the coues deer, to the west. Terrain is thick and oftentimes marshy. Florida's unpredictable climate combined with its extreme humidity can make the practice of quality scent control almost impossible. The rut season for the Seminole whitetail can also be very unpredictable as our seasonal temperatures can vary dramatically day to day causing the rut to inconsistently "turn on" and "turn off." Clients are encouraged to take their hunt seriously and apply the basic fundamentals of whitetail hunting to their hunt with us, as harvesting a mature Seminole whitetail can be difficult but is also a well-respected trophy. The average 4 1/2 year old buck harvested on our farms typically scores between 100"-115" and will weigh approximately 145-170 lbs depending on time of year.

When you arrive be prepared to board a large swamp buggy, capable of tackling all of Florida’s marshes and thick terrain! The buggy’s tall platform deck will have you elevated to view vast areas surrounding you, and shooting towers will keep you secure and give you a rest whether you are stopped to shoot or running and gunning.
For closer encounters, after locating your hog, you will be on foot with your guide beside you. You will enter 2,600 acres, where while hunting for hogs you will get to also see all of the exotic and native game offered at Fox Brown Outfitters. Experienced dogs will be used to wind off of the buggy until they alert that they have picked up a scent. Your guide will release the dogs who will locate and bay the hog….. This is where your high paced adventure begins, so get ready!
At this point in the hunt you will have your choice as to how you’d like to take your hog. Possibilities include but are not limited to: shotgun, rifle, handgun, bow and arrow, spear, or knife. Your guide will be with you the entire time to ensure your safety, and the safety of the dogs. No two hunts are the same, you may get a close shot or a long distance running shot. There are no hog pens or hogs released from traps, this is authentic hunting and can go quickly, or can take all day. When you arrive be prepared to board a large swamp buggy, capable of tackling all of Florida’s marshes and thick terrain! The buggy’s tall platform deck will have you elevated to view vast areas surrounding you, and shooting towers will keep you secure and give you a rest whether you are stopped to shoot or running and gunning. For closer encounters, after locating your hog, you will be on foot with your guide beside you.
You will enter 2,600 acres, where while hunting for hogs you will get to also see all of the exotic and native game offered at Fox Brown Outfitters. Experienced dogs will be used to wind off of the buggy until they alert that they have picked up a scent. Your guide will release the dogs who will locate and bay the hog….. This is where your high-paced adventure begins, so get ready! At this point in the hunt you will have your choice as to how you’d like to take your hog. Possibilities include but are not limited to: shotgun, rifle, handgun, bow and arrow, spear, or knife.
Your guide will be with you the entire time to ensure your safety, and the safety of the dogs. No two hunts are the same, you may get a close shot or a long distance running shot. Trophy deer hunts in Northwest Florida. The property is located eight (8) miles north of Blountstown, Florida. Located just 35 miles west of Tallahassee in the Famous Florida panhandle. Access is easy from anywhere. We have four miles of beautiful river frontage on the Apalachicola River. We also maintain 20 food plots and 20 bait stations year-round. Bow hunters will enjoy success on our 4,000 acre archery only plantation that has been trophy managed for the last 19 years. Hunters can come by themselves or in a group. If you come by yourself we will pair you with one other hunter who came by themselves to pair you as a group. Your group will be assigned an exclusive portion of the property and your guide will then show you active trails and food sources within your exclusive portion of the property.
Your guide will recommend areas for you to hang your stands. Most hunters have shot opportunities the first day. Our hunts are semi-guided and are perfect for the veteran bow hunter or the beginner. We have a lot of first-time bow hunters harvest their first animal with Southern Arrowhead Outfitters. If you are tired of hunting public land with low or no success or tired of paying the high cost of being a hunt club member, come hunt with us. We do all the hard work for you, all you have to do is show up, hang your stands and start hunting a private, managed, archery only plantation where you will have high success. You provide your own stand(s), license and personal needs. The hunts are five days and you may harvest two bucks, one doe, and one hog. All hunts are 5 days in length you may hunt less days, but the price is the same. The only hunts we offer are the hunts listed. We do not offer out of season hog hunts, but if you want to hunt only hogs on one of the hunts listed, we can make arrangements for you to do so.
Lodging is available for an additional $200.00 for the 5 days or you may stay at a hotel close by. Hunters who choose to stay with us must provide their own food as we do not serve or offer food. Where in Florida: The property is located eight (8) miles North of Blountstown, Florida. Located just 35 miles west of Tallahassee in the great Florida Panhandle. This area is famous for having the largest deer in Florida and some of the largest deer in the Southeast. We are located only 30 minutes from Alabama and Georgia so we have the large deer and are able to hunt them legally over bait. Access is easy from anywhere. About the Property: We have four (4) miles of river frontage on the beautiful Apalachicola River. We have 20 food plots and 20 bait stations that we maintain year-round. Bow hunters will enjoy success on our ARCHERY ONLY 4,000 acre plantation that has been trophy managed for the last 16 years. Each hunter may harvest two bucks, one doe and one hog boar or sow. The bucks must have at least three points on one side or better to harvest. The property is teeming with deer and hogs. Lodging: Lodging is available on site for an additional $200.00 per person for all five days, or you may stay at a hotel close by. We have three full efficiencies houses on the property that offers the hunter on site lodging that is clean and comfortable. We hunt different times of day depending on the type of adventure you are looking for, the particular body of water we are hunting, the weather, etc. Ultimately, we can hunt any time of day to accommodate your needs. We always adjust to conditions to make the most of your time on the water and get you on your gator! Morning Alligator Hunts typically start around 9:00 am on our private water hunts and around 6:30 am on Public water hunts. The length of the hunt depends on where we are hunting, the number, and size gator(s) you are after. A rough average would be 3 to 4 hours for a gator hunt. We can cater your hunt to the experience you are looking for. **We transport your Gator(s) to the processor and taxidermist so you don’t have to.** Have your hunt filmed and take home a DVD for you to share with family and friends. A DVD of your hunt is available for $200 and well worth it! The time frame for our hunts is no different than a late dinner or an early morning fishing trip. If you have a specific time you want to be on or off the water we will gladly accommodate the timing of your trip to meet your needs. Capt. Florida Marsh & Swamp Duck Hunt, 3 Days of Hunting, 2-Person Minimum
Hunting the marshes and swamps of Lake Okeechobee for ducks is an experience in itself. Not only do we hunt on the famous Lake Okeechobee, we also hunt various public water lakes and rivers as well as private land. On our private waters, we hunt a mixture of swamps on private ranches and big reservoirs on dairies. We chase the ducks so each hunt could be in a different location.
On day one we might run the airboat in the shallow marshes of Lake Okeechobee. The next morning take the mud boat out into some open water to try ringers, then pack up and go to a private dairy to hunt in a reservoir to knock down some black bellies. No matter what type of hunt you are looking for we will accommodate. If you are looking to complete your ultimate waterfowl challenge, then we can help you with that. We shoot mottled ducks, black belly whistlers, and some fulvous when the time is right. On top of those species, we also shoot blue wing teal, green wing teal, and ringers.
