This beautiful country contains all of the geographic features associated with prime Colorado elk hunting country. Elevations range from 8,000′ to 11,400′ across this terrain, covering the movement of the elk from their summer habitat to their winter ranges across the hunting seasons. Our hunts are conducted on the Big Ridge, East Marvine, and Main Marvine trails.

With the increase in the number of Black Bear in Colorado the Colorado Division of Wildlife has now available Private Land Bear Licenses for Colorado Bear Hunts. There is no drawing for these September Bear Licenses. This will be a spot and stalk Colorado Bear Hunt in the canyons and mesas of Western Colorado using either a rifle or bow. Hunters will be staying at the Packrat Camp on the rim of the Black Canyon of the Gunnison with food, lodging, and 1×1 guide service at this famous elk camp.
