Old Fashioned Coon Hunt in Mountain View Arkansas, Without Lodging
There’s no more authentic Ozark Mountain experience than an old-fashioned coon hunt. Our guides were raised right here in East Richwoods, hunting deer by day and coons by night, and know all there is to know about this sport. Trained coon dogs are provided, or you may bring your own. Vehicles are provided to get you in and out of the woods, but be prepared to walk when your dog trees a coon up the side of a hill or across the holler!
No high fences. No tame animals. No extra charge for trophy kills. Just authentic, fair-chase hunting of wild game in its natural Ozark Mountain habitat. Farm land with a mixture of woods and small clearings, pastures, creeks, and ponds. Land is reserved for one group at a time.

Flocks are seen year-round in the fields on the farm, leading their poults in and out of the woods in late spring and early summer and ranging in the fields throughout fall and winter. Gobblers are plentiful during hunting season, when they gather in mating groups.
Our guides will help you choose the best spots to hunt, and will call for you if you would like, or leave you to hunt on your own. Located on the famed Cache River in Northeast Arkansas, CACHE RIVER MALLARD FARMS consist of nearly 5,000 acres of rice fields managed for premier duck hunting. Since we are farmers, we can control the flooding of our property. This allows us to utilize rain water, but never depend on it as many outfitters do.
Your experience on our property will be heightened by WOODY’S GUIDED HUNTS who will take you each morning before daylight, using ATV’s, and put you in one of our many pit blinds. Our guides are very experienced and professional. They will host as well as call and retrieve your birds while passing along their secrets of rice field hunting in Northeast Arkansas. This year will have 19 underground pits flooded, which allows us to take you where the ducks are, rather than sit in the only pit available and wait on the ducks.

When hunting with Duck Down Guide Service, you should expect a quality hunting experience with a professional hardworking guide.
Upon meeting your guide at the agreed location, you and your crew will load your gear in a crew cab side by side or boat and your guide will drive you to the blind or hunting location. All firearms should remain unloaded until seated in the blind and your guide is ready to hunt. For your safety and the benefit of the hunt, nobody shoots until your guide calls the shot.
We want everyone to enjoy their experience, so we ask that everyone listen and take the advice given to you by your hunting guide.
Safety is a major concern. If anyone in your blind is being careless with their firearm, we ask that you notify your guide and he will address the issue.
Morning hunts last until 10am. At this time your guide will start to gather the gear and prepare for the ride out.

We offer guided offer fully guided combo hunts for ducks and geese in the famous Stuttgart area of Arkansas. The goose hunting done over dry land, typically in the afternoon but in the morning at times. Hunting is in layout blinds, skid blinds or ditches. Speckle belly, snows (white front), and blues are the common species of ducks in the Stuttgart area. Decoy spreads for hunting geese range from 60-120 decoys!!
Each group has its own professional guide and retrieving dog. All of our goose hunting guides are locals to the Stuttgart region, with life-long waterfowl hunting knowledge of the area. They are expert goose hunters and callers, and work hard to provide you with a successful and memorable Arkansas goose hunt.

Old Fashioned Coon Hunt in Mountain View Arkansas, With Lodging
There’s no more authentic Ozark Mountain experience than an old-fashioned coon hunt. Our guides were raised right here in East Richwoods, hunting deer by day and coons by night, and know all there is to know about this sport. Trained coon dogs are provided, or you may bring your own. Vehicles are provided to get you in and out of the woods, but be prepared to walk when your dog trees a coon up the side of a hill or across the holler!
No high fences. No tame animals. No extra charge for trophy kills. Just authentic, fair-chase hunting of wild game in its natural Ozark Mountain habitat. Farm land with a mixture of woods and small clearings, pastures, creeks, and ponds. Land is reserved for one group at a time.
Lodging is provided in the farmhouse, a 2,300-square-foot family home. Non-hunting guests are included in lodging for free, with a minimum of three hunting. House includes five full or queen beds, four twins, and two youth-size beds. Camp cots and extra pillows and bedding are also available. You are also welcome to camp on the property. There is a nice spot for primitive camping on the creek about 1/4 mile from the house. Discuss your needs with us, and we will do our best to accommodate your group!

All-Inclusive Arkansas Duck Hunt
Arkansas is known for its incredible duck hunting, and our area is no different. Our fully guided duck hunts take place in a combination of field pits and flooded timber areas. We have six different field pits and two highly luxurious blinds tucked in our flooded timber areas. We keep all of our hunting spots on a strict rotation cycle in order to offer our hunters a variety of experiences while also ensuring that our areas, and the birds, can rest and remain pressured as little as possible. Our field hunts are excellent, but our flooded timber hunts take the experience to a whole new level. Windy Hill boasts a huge, luxury blind in one of our flooded timber spots that can hold large groups of hunters, and even has a small "kitchen" for cooking breakfast.
Because we care so much about the quality of our areas and being sure not to over pressure them, this experience is typically a "grand finale" that we save for the last day - and you can take our word for it, it's worth the wait. If you are looking for an Arkansas duck hunting outfitter that can provide the true flooded timber duck hunting experience, you have come to the right place! All hunting days at Windy Hill kick-off with the smell of the coffee pot and fresh biscuits. After breakfast, you and your guides will head to your hunting location for that day, where you will hunt until noon. A hot, delicious lunch will be waiting for you back at our comfortable duck hunting lodge where you can spend the rest of the day relaxing in our comfortable recliners, taking a nap in your bunk, or playing corn hole and darts in the "Duck Cave"--our brand new hangout spot at the lodge.
Evenings will consist of home-style country dinners followed by the telling of hunting stories around a warm fire or more games and relaxation in the Duck Cave. We are all about celebrating the duck hunting lifestyle in every aspect, so more than anything, the typical hunting day at Windy Hill will be centered around enjoying every moment to the fullest.

Afternoon Spec Hunt - add on
Afternoon Speck Hunts will be conducted only for those guests staying with us at Duxmen Lodge. We will not do any speck hunting deposits for a PM hunt. These will ONLY be offered IF we have geese on the afternoons you say with us. There will be a sign up board in the lodge to do these hunts.
Since we cannot predict geese like we can ducks, we will offer these on a LIMITED bases and a game time decision while you stay with us. All hunts in the afternoon start around 1:30 and end at legal shooting time at sunset.

With access to over 7,000 acres of leases over a 35-mile area, Ducks-n-Dogs offers a wide array of Arkansas waterfowl hunting opportunities. From flooded fields of rice, beans, milo, and corn, to flooded timber, river sloughs, and cypress swamps we offer a variety of fully guided duck & goose hunting opportunities. Our guides scout the surrounding area daily to locate positions holding the largest concentrations of birds to assure you and your hunting group a great waterfowl hunting experience.
Generally, hunting is done out of skid blinds and pit blinds (although duck boats are sometimes used as conditions may dictate). Transportation to and from the blinds is provided by our Polaris crew cabs or 4-Wheelers. Most of our fields employ decoy spreads of anywhere between 100 - 500 decoys. Each group has its own professional guide and retrieving dog. All of our duck hunting guides are locals to the Stuttgart region, with life-long waterfowl hunting knowledge of the area. They are expert duck hunters and duck callers, and work hard to provide you with a successful and memorable Arkansas duck hunt.
Stuttgart, Arkansas offers some of the best flooded timber duck hunts in the nation. For many seasoned duck hunters, this is a dream hunt. At Ducks n Dogs, we hunt a variety of flooded timber holes around the lodge. The timing for a flooded timber hunt can be a little tricky, depending on water conditions, so contact us for more details about planning a hunt. Duck hunting in flooded timber is so exciting because there is nothing like watching a flock of distant ducks respond to an expert caller but flooded timber hunts offer a different type of excitement. As a pair wood ducks or mallards appear and start circling close, you suddenly see them multiply - it can feel like being surrounded by a swarm of bees. The buzzing builds until you’ve got flocks working in and out of the timber at many levels. There’s less need for calling with hunting flooded timber but the excitement is equal to any waterfowl hunt.
