Florida March & Swamp Duck Hunt, 3 Days of Hunting, 2-Person Minimum
Hunting the marshes and swamps of Lake Okeechobee for ducks is an experience in itself. Not only do we hunt on the famous Lake Okeechobee, we also hunt various public water lakes and rivers as well as private land. On our private waters, we hunt a mixture of swamps on private ranches and big reservoirs on dairies. We chase the ducks so each hunt could be in a different location.
On day one we might run the airboat in the shallow marshes of Lake Okeechobee. The next morning take the mud boat out into some open water to try ringers, then pack up and go to a private dairy to hunt in a reservoir to knock down some black bellies. No matter what type of hunt you are looking for we will accommodate. If you are looking to complete your ultimate waterfowl challenge, then we can help you with that. We shoot mottled ducks, black belly whistlers, and some fulvous when the time is right. On top of those species, we also shoot blue wing teal, green wing teal, and ringers.

With access to over 7,000 acres of leases over a 35-mile area, Ducks-n-Dogs offers a wide array of Arkansas waterfowl hunting opportunities. From flooded fields of rice, beans, milo, and corn, to flooded timber, river sloughs, and cypress swamps we offer a variety of fully guided duck & goose hunting opportunities. Our guides scout the surrounding area daily to locate positions holding the largest concentrations of birds to assure you and your hunting group a great waterfowl hunting experience.
Generally, hunting is done out of skid blinds and pit blinds (although duck boats are sometimes used as conditions may dictate). Transportation to and from the blinds is provided by our Polaris crew cabs or 4-Wheelers. Most of our fields employ decoy spreads of anywhere between 100 - 500 decoys. Each group has its own professional guide and retrieving dog. All of our duck hunting guides are locals to the Stuttgart region, with life-long waterfowl hunting knowledge of the area. They are expert duck hunters and duck callers, and work hard to provide you with a successful and memorable Arkansas duck hunt.
Stuttgart, Arkansas offers some of the best flooded timber duck hunts in the nation. For many seasoned duck hunters, this is a dream hunt. At Ducks n Dogs, we hunt a variety of flooded timber holes around the lodge. The timing for a flooded timber hunt can be a little tricky, depending on water conditions, so contact us for more details about planning a hunt. Duck hunting in flooded timber is so exciting because there is nothing like watching a flock of distant ducks respond to an expert caller but flooded timber hunts offer a different type of excitement. As a pair wood ducks or mallards appear and start circling close, you suddenly see them multiply - it can feel like being surrounded by a swarm of bees. The buzzing builds until you’ve got flocks working in and out of the timber at many levels. There’s less need for calling with hunting flooded timber but the excitement is equal to any waterfowl hunt.

Hunting the marshes and swamps of Lake Okeechobee for ducks is an experience in itself. Not only do we hunt on the famous Lake Okeechobee, we also hunt various public water lakes and rivers as well as private land. On our private waters, we hunt a mixture of swamps on private ranches and big reservoirs on dairies. We chase the ducks so each hunt could be in a different location.
On day one we might run the airboat in the shallow marshes of Lake Okeechobee. The next morning take the mud boat out into some open water to try ringers, then pack up and go to a private dairy to hunt in a reservoir to knock down some black bellies. No matter what type of hunt you are looking for we will accommodate. If you are looking to complete your ultimate waterfowl challenge, then we can help you with that.

Located on the famed Cache River in Northeast Arkansas, CACHE RIVER MALLARD FARMS consist of nearly 5,000 acres of rice fields managed for premier duck hunting. Since we are farmers, we can control the flooding of our property. This allows us to utilize rain water, but never depend on it as many outfitters do.
Your experience on our property will be heightened by WOODY’S GUIDED HUNTS who will take you each morning before daylight, using ATV’s, and put you in one of our many pit blinds. We think this is the most fun you can have with your pants on! Rain, snow, or sunshine we will have a great hunting option and that’s why these hunts are so productive! Our all inclusive 3 day combo hunt provides you with food, lodging and travel to/from the field. This hunt is action packed.
We provide you with coffee and doughnuts in the morning before escorting you to the field where you will be hunting ducks or geese. Growing up in rural southwest Georgia, I spent many days on the Gulf of Mexico duck hunting and fishing. In 2019 I went to college at GSU and started fishing and hunting on the Georgia coast. I have decided that because of the better inshore limits, plentiful offshore structure, and the eastern sea duck migration, that it is a worthy cause to run trips on the Georgia coastline. Not to mention the boat access to historic downtown Savannah.
Fishing and chasing ducks is an honest trade that often times humbles the hearts men. So, I have set my sails to teach others the little hunting and fishing knowledge I have as a service for any that would ask me to take them out.
Our main concern on adventures is that we seek to enjoy God's creation fruitfully. In accordance with love, joy, peace, patience etc. Aboard our boats we labor not for fish or ducks, which surely perish. But we labor for God, who created the heavens and the earth, and looks on those who believe in Him with favor. We raise hundreds of "buddy ducks" in our sanctuary every year to mix with our local population. Members have full access to lodge 24/7, and the ability to Dove Hunt on our sunflower field. Our waterfowl area consists of blind locations on the creeks, fields, and ponds. 2025 waterfowl membership $3,300 which includes 2 guest fees during the season. If members want a guide, book no later than 3pm the day prior by texting Ford Downes. The guide drives you to the blind, lays out the decoys and calls them in for you. It's traditional for each hunter to tip the guide $20 after a good day of shooting. A deposit of $500 holds your deer or duck member spot with the remaining balance due no later than Feb 1st. If you join both clubs the annual club fee is $6000 with a onetime first year join fee of $1500.

We offer 3 scheduled Quail and Duck Combination Hunts per hunting season. Normally we do the first scheduled quail and duck combination hunt on the second Saturday in December. We have six different field pits and two highly luxurious blinds tucked in our flooded timber areas. We keep all of our hunting spots on a strict rotation cycle in order to offer our hunters a variety of experiences while also ensuring that our areas, and the birds, can rest and remain pressured as little as possible. Our field hunts are excellent, but our flooded timber hunts take the experience to a whole new level. Our 5 day, 6 night package includes daily guided bird hunts and fly out fishing excursions. You will enjoy our newly constructed main lodge as well as guest cabins with private restrooms and shower. All meals, refreshments, and small game & fishing licenses are included.
We have access miles of old mining roads, perfect for hunting on the road system, as well as a skeet and target shooting area for practice and sighting in!

Duck Hunting in Colorado
Duck hunting in Colorado can be nothing short of amazing. Our placement against the Front Range Mountains of Northern Colorado forces migrating ducks to push against the mountains when the temperatures freeze them out of eastern Colorado and points north. Typically duck hunts begin to get worthwhile in late November.
We get common puddle duck species like mallards, wigeon, teal, and gadwall, as well as other species like spoonbill, goldeneyes, canvasbacks, redheads, ringnecks, and three species of merganser. Your guided DUCK ONLY hunt will start at legal shooting light and end at noon. Duck only hunts are ½ day hunts. If a duck hunt is paired with a goose hunt as a COMBO OPTION, the hunt will last until the limit is reached, or legal shooting light expires. We are one of the few guide services along the Front Range that offer this service, and availability is limited.
