Archery mule deer hunts begin September 1 and rifle hunts begin on October 1. Early archery hunts (first week of September) offer an excellent opportunity to harvest a full velvet mule deer buck! Archery hunts are typically spot-and-stalk style hunts however we occasionally hunt water or food sources from a ground blind as well. Wyoming’s archery whitetail season opens on September 1 which provides us with amazing opportunities to hunt these deer while they are still on their summer feed patterns. Most archery hunts happen over food or water sources from ground blinds and it’s not uncommon to see 100+ whitetails per day, with several shooter bucks in the group. We also utilize treestands where appropriate. Wyoming allows the use of either compound or crossbow so there are ample hunting opportunities regardless of weapon choice.

Wyoming antelope hunts with Big Horn Outfitters are extremely exciting and offer very high opportunity and success rates. Most years both archery and rifle success rates are at or near 100%. Archery hunts are a combination of sitting over waterholes or hay fields in ground blinds as well as spot and stalk style hunts. Rifle hunts are spot and stalk. We offer pronghorn antelope hunts in areas 10, 15, 16, 17, 18, 20, 22, 102 and 109. Archery season begins on August 15 and rifle season begin on the 1st of October each year.
