South Texas Thermal Hog Hunt (price is per night)
Deep in the heart of Texas lies one of the most unique destinations and hunting experiences you can imagine. We specialize in thermal hunting for South Texas wild hog and limited exotic species using fair chase methods. Traditional daytime and afternoon hunting from blinds is available during the daylight hours, but after dark is where the real fun begins.
Early morning coffee and out to the blind before sunrise to try to catch the hogs coming to the morning feeder and water holes. Return to lodge mid-morning for full breakfast, and enjoy a little relax time around the lodge, enjoy the long range rifle range. We serve a late lunch and then it’s out to the blind again for the afternoon/evening hunt which usually runs from an hour before sunset to an hour after. Return to the lodge for a full dinner. From dark to the early morning hours we use our thermal scopes and feeding program to attract and harvest as many wild hogs as possible.
Over 2500 acres of both true low-fence, free-range and neighboring high-fenced game reserve: 10 permanent, modern hunting blinds for maximum comfort. Year-round feeding program with corn feeders, protein feed stations, and cottonseed feeders spread throughout the ranch. 500 yard range with steel gong targets at lodge, 1000 yard target range locations throughout ranch. When you arrive be prepared to board a large swamp buggy, capable of tackling all of Florida’s marshes and thick terrain! The buggy’s tall platform deck will have you elevated to view vast areas surrounding you, and shooting towers will keep you secure and give you a rest whether you are stopped to shoot or running and gunning. For closer encounters, after locating your hog, you will be on foot with your guide beside you.
You will enter 2,600 acres, where while hunting for hogs you will get to also see all of the exotic and native game offered at Fox Brown Outfitters. Experienced dogs will be used to wind off of the buggy until they alert that they have picked up a scent. Your guide will release the dogs who will locate and bay the hog….. This is where your high-paced adventure begins, so get ready! At this point in the hunt you will have your choice as to how you’d like to take your hog. Possibilities include but are not limited to: shotgun, rifle, handgun, bow and arrow, spear, or knife.
Your guide will be with you the entire time to ensure your safety, and the safety of the dogs. No two hunts are the same, you may get a close shot or a long distance running shot. When you book a hunt with us your group will be the only hunting party on the property. Your hunting guide is dedicated to making sure you have a good experience on the ranch and will be available to help you for a successful wild hog hunt.
The McCune Ranch Property is about 600 acres in size. We do not offer high fence or pinned animals to hunt. The property is a mix of heavily wooded areas, stock ponds, pastures with creeks and a swamp running across the property. The creeks and swamp flow into the Sabine River a short distance away. This provides an endless supply of Free Range Texas Wild Hogs from the Sabine River bottoms.
At McCune Ranch Outfitters your hunting guide will be available to transport you to your hunting location.

If shooting a bobcat is on your bucket list, we can help accomplish that as well. If you are interested in Bobcat primarily you will need to book December 1 through February 28 due to State regulations. The Hawaiian Islands are known for their beautiful lush forest with an abundance of Hawaiian exotic plants and animals. The forest has also been a home for a few different species of wild boar. History has been told that the pua’a or pig was brought to Hawaii by Captain Cook, as a walking food substance for their journey in the late 1700’s. Through the years, these pigs have been genetically altered by breeding with other species that were introduced to the islands. In the past, the pigs caught show some of these different genetic traits. Wild pigs cause extreme damage to Hawaii’s rainforest eco-system. Hunters help keep the wild pig population under control by eradication. We offer some of the best hog hunting in the Hawaiian Islands. All of these hunts take place on private land (cattle ranches). We hunt hogs from a treestand, ground blind, or spot stalk method--whichever you prefer or based on your capability.
HOW GOOD IS THE HOG HUNTING?: We measure our success based on the opportunity we provide our hunters at game that is in range and a reasonable shot for them to take. You can figure that the average hunter will encounter around 6 hogs during a one day hunt. This does not mean that you will see 6 hogs on your hunt and we do not guarantee the amount of game that you will see. It simply means this is the average per hunter. Some hunters will see 12 or more, some 8, some 4, and on a rare occasion 1 or none. However the average during the season is around 6 hogs per hunt. Hunters physical condition and ability can also factor in the amount of game they will see and what they harvest. Make no mistake you have an excellent chance at harvesting a great hog. As a bonus, we allow you to harvest 2 hogs during your hunt as well!

This hog hunt is designed for the ultimate thrill seekers and hard-core hunters! Chasing invasive wild hogs in Texas with hounds is about as fun as it gets! Our team of bay dogs will be turned out on the scent trail of the hogs, and will run until they find them. We suit up pit bulls with kevlar vests and make our approach. The bay dogs corral the hog until we can send in a catch dog from less than 50 yards away. We follow immediately behind the catch dog and send a client or guide in to grab the back legs of the hog while another client dispatches the wild pig with a knife. These hunts can range over hundreds of yards. Hunters should expect to walk up to 3 miles. Getting to the dogs is urgent for their safety and our success. We are fully confident in the safety of this epic hog hunt. We have assembled a group of excellent guides and dogs, and we can accommodate large groups of hunters in multiple teams. All-Inclusive 4-Day Trophy Whitetail Hunt
The Gopher Plantation offers Whitetail Deer Hunting in Georgia on over 8,000 private owned acres that spans over diverse habitats. There are over 100 tower stands strategically located throughout the hunting property. The deer hunting stands are all equipped with metal roofs to keep rain and other elements from mother nature off the hunters during their hunt. The rifle tower stands are all equipped range from 4’x4’ to 4’x6’ in size and are approximately 10’ high to the platform. Every tower hunting stand has office chairs to ensure a comfortable sit every hunt. Most of our tower stands are 4’x6’ and these deer hunting stands are great for sharing the hunt with family or a friend.
We also have permanent and pop-up ground blinds for hunters that physically can’t climb elevated stands. In the case of bow hunters there are ladder stands available and maintained each hunting season. We require a safety harness to whitetail deer hunt from ladder stands. Every deer hunting stand has a food plot and or a feed spot/feeder. These feed spots and feeders are fed year-round, not just during deer hunting season. The Gopher Plantation staff plants over 200 acres of food plots each year to ensure the whitetail have adequate feed throughout the season.

Come experience the excitement of hunting at night, undetected in total darkness, using industry leading thermal equipment. Whether using spot and stalk technique, calling predators to you, or hunting over bait, this hunt will get your heart pounding! No experience is necessary to participate in our thermal hunts, our knowledgeable guides will take the time to teach every hunter how to use the equipment and will communicate with you through every step of your hunt to ensure you have the best chance of a successful hunt.
Bringing a friend? At Fox Brown Outfitters they won’t have to wait in the dark, unaware of what is going on with the hunt. Your guide will bring a tablet or smart device that wirelessly connects to the scope that will enable them to watch what is being seen by the shooter through the scope in real time. Telling that hunting story has never been easier….. With our state of the art equipment, capturing still images and video of your hunt is easy, and does not cost extra at Fox Brown Outfitters! The built-in video recorder in our thermal scope will catch all the action for you to show off later. Video or still pictures can be viewed and emailed to you after your hunt is complete.
Thermal hunts are conducted at night. Pricing is for groups of 2 or less hunters and one observer, however, accommodations can be made with multiple guns for larger groups. Hunts include 4 hours of hunting time. All equipment including weapons, ammunition, calls, decoys, and transportation is included in this hunt. Also included is the skinning of your kill, quartering of the meat, and ice. Hunts are conducted in accordance with all Florida Wildlife Laws.

Hog Hunt With Dogs & Knives - 1x1
This hog hunt is designed for the ultimate thrill seekers and hard-core hunters! Chasing invasive wild hogs in Texas with hounds is about as fun as it gets! Our team of bay dogs will be turned out on the scent trail of the hogs, and will run until they find them. We suit up pit bulls with kevlar vests and make our approach. The bay dogs corral the hog until we can send in a catch dog from less than 50 yards away. We follow immediately behind the catch dog and send a client or guide in to grab the back legs of the hog while another client dispatches the wild pig with a knife. These hunts can range over hundreds of yards. Hunters should expect to walk up to 3 miles. Getting to the dogs is urgent for their safety and our success. We are fully confident in the safety of this epic hog hunt. We have assembled a group of excellent guides and dogs, and we can accommodate large groups of hunters in multiple teams. This is a great day time hog hunting opportunity and is sure to make your heart pump!

Texas Style THERMAL hog hunting trips are typically structured as “spot and stalk” type hunts that start just before sundown. Our experienced guides will take hunters of any skill level through our safety course so they can feel totally ready for their night time hog experience. Over the course of four hours, we take hunting vehicles to multiple wild hog hunting areas, including both low fence and hunting preserve properties. Hunters will get the chance to scan the area with thermal and night vision devices in order to spot hogs and coyotes, as well as other non target species. Once hogs are spotted, your Texas hunting adventure is about to get WILD! We try to stalk up less than 75 yards from our target. We often see large trophy boars, as well as sounders of large numbers of wild hogs. Your guide will safely line up the shooters, and then it is up to you to knock down UNLIMITED hogs. That’s right, our thermal hunt has NO HOG LIMIT.

At Black Tine Outfitters we don't wait for a specific hunting season to come back around. In the state of Florida; feral hog hunting can be conducted year round on private land. So we take full advantage of this opportunity. There is also no license or permits required. Our wild hog hunts include guide, transportation, cleaning and quartering of all harvested hogs. Processing and packaging of your wild hog can be arranged at an additional charge with one of our local processors. Clients can choose from several different options such as half day, full day, and night time hunts. You can bring your own weapon or rent one of ours, archery hunters are welcome. And don't worry about hidden fees or trophy fees because we don't have any of those. This hunt is fun for the whole family of all ages. We do not have a minimum or maximum restriction on group size. We are happy to accommodate single hunters as well large corporate retreats.
We do not require any experience to participate in our wild hog hunts as our professional staff will take the time to give instructions and advice on the "do's and don'ts" of wild hog hunting. With being the most affordable big game hunting experience in North America; wild hog hunting is surely a great introduction to the outdoors for children and beginners. Well, other than the fact that we're not going anywhere. We believe when your working on something that is yours; there is a whole lot more passion involved.
We don't have second jobs. We maintain our land, feeders, food plots, trail cameras, tree stands etc all year long. We pride ourselves in offering not only quality, but also a true honest hunting experience. The hunting industry can be non-forgiving, long days and even longer nights. But, "This, Is What We Do!" Our day time wild hog hunts are conducted primarily early morning or late afternoons as these time periods have proven to provide the best opportunity for success. Clients can choose a half day or a full day hog hunt with a half day hunt consisting of either morning or afternoon and a full day hunt consisting of both morning and afternoon. We operate our day time hog hunts traditionally using only the latest top of the line tree stands, box stands, and ground blinds to ensure that we can accommodate any hunters needs.
Upon arrival; our professional guides will go over the rules of the ranch and have everyone in your party sign in before heading out for the hunt. All transportation is provided while on the ranch both to and from our hog hunting locations. Once you harvest a wild hog our guides will assist with blood trailing and the extraction of the wild hog and then head to the cleaning facility to perform the cleaning and quartering which is included in the hog hunt at no additional charge. Time and time again this method of hunting has provided optimal results for first time hunters all the way up to experienced archery hunters.
