Premium Arizona Bighorn Sheep Hunt (2 Guides)
We are proud to offer hunting trips for the most prized big game species in North America, the desert bighorn sheep (Ovis canadensis mexicana and nelsoni). Arizona has produced numerous large rams and stands up to being the top state as a quality producer. Like all states, Arizona bighorn sheep tags are by a lottery drawing. If you are lucky enough to draw this "coveted tag", you stand a great chance of getting a record-book head. Desert big horn sheep tags are limited to such an extent that Arizona only allows each hunter one desert bighorn sheep in a lifetime. Tags may be difficult to draw, so our possible hunters are encouraged to apply each year and build points until drawn. You never know when you will draw. Some hunters draw with one bonus point, which means it is truly luck-of-the-draw! If you have the itch for a beautiful desert ram and feel lucky enough to draw one of the "coveted tags," we have the hunt for you! Our master sheep guide, Pat Feldt and his assistants, have spent many years in the field with desert bighorn sheep and know them well. Pat is a member of the Desert Bighorn Sheep Society, has a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Biology and is very knowledgeable and experienced in locating, hunting, and judging bighorn sheep. Much of his and his assistants spare time is spent looking for and observing sheep, whether it is just for fun or trying to video another record-book ram. Pat's many years of sheep experience has allowed hunters to harvest exceptional quality bighorn rams. Several rams harvested over the years have made the Boone and Crockett minimum. In Arizona, you have the ability to hunt two different sub-species of desert bighorn sheep: either the heavy-horned and tight-curled Mexicana subspecies or the wide, flare-horned Nelsoni subspecies. This depends upon which area or unit you draw. The sheep in the northwest areas of Arizona from the Bill Williams River northward are classified as Nelson desert bighorn sheep. The southern area below the Bill Williams River toward the Mexican border is home to the Mexicana. We have hunted in various bighorn sheep units throughout the State of Arizona. Sheep locations within these units vary from year to year because desert bighorn rams have a very large home range. This is due mainly to the constantly changing food and water resources of the desert ecosystem. Rams also move around a lot during the late summer rut before settling down in late October or early November. Your area is scouted extensively prior to the December hunt to locate not only the best concentration of sheep, but the best rams in that area. We can often find the same rams during the hunt that were located during scouting. So, if we find a big ram during scouting in October or November, with patience, we will more than likely find him during your December hunt. The premium hunt includes two experienced bighorn sheep guides; one hunting with you and another at different vantage points to act as a scout or spotter. Having eyes in two places at one time increases the chance of obtaining an exceptional trophy or record-class ram.

Private Land, Central Florida Whitetail Hunt - 5 Day, includes two Wild Hogs!
Our Florida whitetail deer hunts are conducted on approximately 9,800 acres of private land. All land is quality managed and has been since the early 1930's. Clients are encouraged to harvest mature whitetails; however, we do follow the state of Florida rules and regulations minimum requirement of 3 points on one side for antlered deer. At Black Tine Outfitters, we don't have second jobs; we maintain feeders, food plots, and mineral sites on a yearly basis. We believe this provides a valuable food source and helps in keeping a stable and healthy herd. Combined with over 40 years of experience hunting and guiding throughout the state of Florida, rest assured that Black Tine Outfitters can put you where the deer are. We offer several different hunting packages including whitetail deer and wild hog combo hunts, everything from 2 day hunts to 5 day hunts. We utilize ladder stands, shooting houses, and ground blinds to ensure your safety is first priority. All transportation to and from hunting locations is provided, including extraction, cleaning, and quartering of harvested game. You will also find that we do not believe in trophy fees. Over the years we have had several clients harvest whitetails scoring in the mid 130 to low 140 class range with no additional trophy fees applied. Feel free to give us a call with any questions or concerns you may have. We are happy to accommodate your hunt any way we can. Thank you, and we look forward to meeting you. The Seminole whitetail can be very challenging. It is often compared to hunting its sub-species, the coues deer, to the west. Terrain is thick and oftentimes marshy. Florida's unpredictable climate combined with its extreme humidity can make the practice of quality scent control almost impossible. The rut season for the Seminole whitetail can also be very unpredictable as our seasonal temperatures can vary dramatically day to day causing the rut to inconsistently "turn on" and "turn off." Clients are encouraged to take their hunt seriously and apply the basic fundamentals of whitetail hunting to their hunt with us, as harvesting a mature Seminole whitetail can be difficult but is also a well-respected trophy. The average 4 1/2 year old buck harvested on our farms typically scores between 100"-115" and will weigh approximately 145-170 lbs depending on time of year.

2x1 Non-Rut Coues Deer Rifle Hunt, 4-Day
Our outfit is pleased to offer quality hunting trips for the Coues Whitetailed Deer in southern Arizona near Tucson. The Coues Deer is considered one of the most prized and most challenging deer species for North American trophy hunters. This petite deer is the smallest huntable sub-species of the whitetailed deer and weighs between 70 - 100 lbs. dressed out. Mature bucks normally have 8 total points on the rack. The minimum Coues deer score for Pope and Young is 70 inches and the minimum score for Boone and Crockett is 110 inches. The Coues Whitetail is classified under a separate category in all record books because of its small, tight rack. Even the World's Record typical Coues deer (144-1/8" B&C taken by Ed Stockwell in 1953) would not make it into the Boone and Crockett book if scored and categorized under the Eastern whitetail standards. That is the reason for the separate category for this unique deer species. Hunters that have taken all the species in the "deer slam" usually consider the Coues deer one of the most rewarding and most beautiful trophies. Our Coues hunts are conducted in the vast, rugged desert mountains of southeastern Arizona, with Tucson being the closest major city. The hunting technique for Coues deer involves choosing a good vantage point and spending hours glassing through high-powered binoculars and spotting scopes. The Coues bucks may be spotted over a mile away. Once a trophy Coues buck is located, the spot and stalk method is used to get within shooting range. The canyons where Coues deer live are usually big and open. Rifle hunters should be prepared for shooting distances from 200 yards to 500 yards, if the need arises. Bow hunters typically take shots at ranges from 30 to 60 yards since it is really open terrain. Because of the topography, high-powered riflescopes on top of lightweight flat-shooting rifles with a bipod are a "must-have." Recommended rifle calibers are the .25-06 up to .300 Magnums. We do not recommend smaller calibers. Rifle season hunts are conducted during three timeframes, which are: late October, early November, and late December. Our Archery Coues hunts are conducted during the month of January when they are in full rut. SUCCESS RATES: We are proud to say that many of our rifle Coues seasons have ended with a 100% success rate! Nearly all of our past Coues hunters have been presented with opportunity.

Picturesque Upland Hunt on 300 Acre Preserve - 6 Pheasant
Whether it's low, well-managed brush cover, idle cropfields or woodland habitat, we have you covered. While it would be easy to plant vast fields of grasses and walk away, we know from 50 years of hunting experience that those types of simplistic approaches to creating cover don't work. That's why our main focus at Markover is the careful planning, executing and maintaining rich cover to create the diverse conditions of our hunting fields that generations of hunters have come to expect and enjoy. Interspersed with patches of native praire grass and intermittent low pines, you'll find our fields to be ideal for full season bird cover. Most of our off-season at Markover is spent maintaining and establishing our diverse cover. As the seasons pass, you'll find that our ground growth and foliage offerings change while continuing to offer quality bird holding areas that are available all year long without sacrificing huntability. Picturesque and well-maintained, you'll find the views throughout our fields to be a spectacular addition to your hunting experience. 6 main hunting fields 300+ acres Large group hosting - up to 15 hunters at a time (groups of up to 4) No combined groups - you hunt with your friends/family Lone hunters are welcome weekdays & as openings allow on weekends

High-Quality Duck Hunting in New Jersey
Our fresh water impoundments have the two ingredients essential for great puddle duck hunting- shallow water and a variety of natural foods. These impoundments provide ducks with high quality natural foods-wild rice, duck weed, smart weed and duck celery. These impoundments are 60-100 acres which means there is plenty of food throughout the gunning season. We also plant some wild rice each spring. These large impoundments are also big enough for birds to loaf on all day long without being disturbed. Also our impoundments are far apart which means we are hunting different bunches of birds to help keep our hunting consistently good. We like to use hand -carved cork decoys along with GHG decoys because of their realism and larger size. Most of the birds we are hunting travel in small bunches so 2-3 dozen decoys is plenty along with a few mojos when conditions dictate. We take a large variety of puddle ducks over the course of the season on these large impoundments. In the early season, (Oct -Nov) we mainly take smaller ducks- blue-wing teal, green-wing teal, wood ducks and mallards. In the late season, (Nov-Dec) we take a larger ducks and variety- a few straggler teal and wood ducks but mainly mallards and gadwall and some days pintail, widgeon and shovelers. We also take some Canada geese when conditions are right.

SRO’s waterfowl hunts are fully guided by knowledgeable guides, skilled in calling, setting attractive decoy spreads, and retrieving waterfowl. Elk Hunting At Its Finest
We invite you to hunt with us on our well managed elk ranch that totals around 10,000 acres. Our properties are nestled into the foothills of the crazy mountains which are located in central Montana. Our goal is to limit the number of hunters we take which decreases pressure and increases success. Hunt tactics include a mixture of ground blinds, calling, and spot and stalk hunting. While it is possible to access the property by vehicle, we try to minimize disturbance by utilizing horses and hiking when possible. Trophy potential varies depending on a number of factors including time of year, temperature, weather patterns etc. but most hunters have a chance at 5x5 and 6x6 bulls. We would classify this ranch as having moderate terrain as far as elk country is concerned. This means that you don’t have to climb thousands of feet every day to reach the elk. However, it is still elk country and the ranch is over 6000’ in elevation. It is for this reason that we ask all hunters to make sure they show up in good physical condition. You will have more fun and your odds of success only increase by being in good shape. Hunt includes food, lodging and travel to and from the hunt area. Guests stay in a renovated, fully furnished four bedroom house in the town of White Sulphur Springs. We will provide breakfast, lunch, and dinner. In addition to cooking at the house there are great local eating options as well.

The weather is nice, the mountains are vibrant with spring colors and there are usually lots of other animals to see during your hunt. Deer, Elk, Moose, etc. We take a limited number of hunters each year to maximize the quality and success of our hunts. We spend the day glassing from vantage points in order to locate a bear that is in a good position for a stalk. Weather can play a big factor in day to day movement but our hunters typically see multiple bears during their hunt. A spot and stalk hunt in the mountains of Montana can be physically demanding, similar to an elk hunt. If you arrive in good shape you will have a much better chance of being successful. Our hunt area is very open country and we can see for great distances, this helps us spot bears but makes for some longer shot opportunities. To give yourself the best chance of being successful you should be comfortable shooting out to 300 yards.

Sooty Grouse 3-Day Hunt in the California Mountains
Professional Sooty Grouse hunting guide and outfitter in Northern California. Another favorite for the amazing terrain they call home. Sooty grouse are birds of the mountains. When the valley is still scorching hot in September, go high for a sooty grouse hunt. Commonly found along the edges of mountain meadows where a brush or conifer pocket meet. To some they are just a dumb bird, to target them with dogs is a totally different experience that won’t be easily topped. We use pointing dogs that are also trained to retrieve for upland bird hunts.

10-Day Remote Moose Hunt in Exclusive Access Area
The moose in our hunting area grow big, thanks to healthy genetics and plenty of food. Wolves pass through once in a while, but do not gather here to focus feeding on moose, year-round. As a result, our moose numbers continue to grow, and the size of our bull moose keep getting bigger and bigger. We have a very good relationship with the local people in and around the village of Egegik. Our exclusive outfitter access to this area ensures a very good opportunity for hunters to fill tags. The hunting is done from tented spike camps, where ground is covered on ATVs and by boat. Spotting game, then stalking in for a shot, is the norm. Moose are often called in during the rut. Bring hip or chest waders that you can walk in all day, every day, as that’s the most efficient way to comfortably cover ground. Mud and water dominate the lowland tidal flats and tundra that we hunt. Wolves, wolverine, red fox, ptarmigan, ducks and geese are often taken as bonus species by many of our hunters.

Alaska Peninsula Moose Hunt
The Alaska Peninsula has one of the best opportunities to harvest moose in the state. The Alaska Peninsula may not have the largest number of Moose or the most record book entries, instead the real difference about the Peninsula is what the Moose don’t have – timber! They can run but they can’t hide. Eventually, they will show themselves in a Willow thicket or pop out of an Alder patch! I know where they live; I’ve been doing this since 17 years of age. We normally average over 60 inches for the bulls we harvest. Since 1983 our average success on moose hunts is over 90%. I’ve had hunters go home without moose in the past, for varying reasons, but odds are you will be successful. I usually take no more than 2 Moose hunters per season. This number has worked well for me, and every year I see a good number of bulls for the next year’s hunting season. Unit 9E has had the longest implemented minimum size antler restriction in the state. The state set a minimum of 50 inches or 3 brow tine restrictions back in the late 70’s. Now most of the state has followed suit. The Alaska Peninsula has had and still does have some of finest wildlife biologist in the State of Alaska. When combined with great habitat, mild winters and with minimum snow coverage helps maintain a healthy population. We do have a couple of concerns however: wolves and brown bears, both populations are on the rise. So you can do your part to help out the moose population by booking a bear or wolf hunt with us. Moose and bear hunting season do not overlap in unit 9E, but wolf hunting does, the limit on wolves is 10 per day and no tag fee. We pride ourselves on taking excellent care of the moose meat and cape. We will turn the ears, split the lips and bell, remove all of the cartilage from the nose and salt the cape at least 3 times before we deliver it to King Salmon. From there I usually ship it to the Wildlife Gallery for them to look it over, shake out the salt and prepare the hide and antlers to ship anywhere in the world. Obviously, there is a lot of meat that is involved with a moose – on average over 600 lbs. It all comes out of the field on the backs of your guide or packers. I have waxed fish boxes at the lodge that we can pack for you to take home. Usually most hunters only try and take back one or two boxes of meat. The rest of the meat does not go to waste. I have a couple of villages on the coast that look forward every September to some extra meat. It is my priority to make sure that all of the meat delivered to the villages, as well as your home, is clean and fresh.
