Backcountry 7-Day Montana Elk Hunts Adjacent to Yellowstone
We have a remote backcountry camp in the Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness in Montana, adjacent to the northern boundary of Yellowstone National Park. Our backcountry elk hunts start during the bugle season, September 15 and run through to October 15. This is an early rifle season and the hunts are 7 days long. The horseback ride to camp from my lodge is 22 miles. Our camp is very comfortable, with wall tents, stoves, cots, foam pads and lanterns. We always have an excellent and congenial cook in camp, with plentiful, home style meals. Our string of horses and mules are the best in the business and gentle for anyone to ride. I personally guide, and my crew of hunting guides is the best to be found. We all work as a team, and do not feel satisfied until every hunter in camp fills out. Your success of hunting and killing an elk is our main goal!

Mountain Lion Hunt, 2x1
Montana has some great areas for hunting big Toms and is one of few states to allow hunting mountain lion (a.k.a. cougar, puma). We utilize experienced hounds men and dogs to “tree” cats. Since these hunts begin in December, you’ll be treated to very comfortable accommodations with meals provided. See Lodge details here. This is a unique experience and we have great trophy cats. Hunting mountain lions is totally different than hunting for elk, deer or bear. Your day begins as early as 1:00 am, you’ll have a light breakfast and join our houndsman who will instruct you on how to “cut” a track. Tracking a mountain lion involves driving or snowmobiling through a myriad of US Forest Service and private timber company roads, using spotlights mounted to the cat truck, and trying to eyeball a track from many yards away. Once a track is found, dogs are put on it to see if it carries a scent. If so, they’re off and the race is on! It can take several hours for the dogs to find and tree the cat. Once the cat is treed, the hunter’s work begins – they must find the dogs and the treed cat in time before it escapes. If we haven’t treed a cat by 4:00 pm, we typically quit for the day as we don’t want to hunt in the dark. At this point, hunters have the remainder of the afternoon to relax, tour around the area or rest up. The duration of your Montana mountain lion hunt is typically 5 days. However, we can extend a hunt up to 10 days using daily rates if we haven’t got a hunter his or her cat. While there are never guarantees in hunting, the success rate for our Montana mountain lion hunts has been nearly 100% in the past. The skill of our dogs, the quality of the area we have rights to hunt in, and the quality and skill of the houndsmen we employ all play a role in our success rates at Swan Mountain Outfitters. Since mountain lion hunts in Montana take place during the winter months, hunters have access to a variety of exciting winter activities that can be added on to the front or back end of their hunt. These activities include but are not limited to: downhill skiing, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, ice fishing and ice skating.

Snow Goose Hunt in New Jersey
Southern New Jersey holds upwards of 150,000 snow geese during the fall and spring. Most of these birds are in Salem and Cumberland county. Generally the birds show up in late October and leave in mid-March. New jersey snow goose hunting presents two unique challenges. First, these birds sometimes will fly over to Delaware to feed for the day. Another second factor to contend with here in New Jersey are the huge tidal marshes where the birds roost. Generally the birds will not leave the marsh preferring to stay and feed on the salt hay fields that are so numerous in New Jersey tidal marshes. But once the weather turns cold that is when the birds head inland from 2- 20 miles to find higher protein food like corn, soybean or wheat. We have farms in both Salem and Cumberland county. All or our farms are inland anywhere from 2 -12 miles from the roost areas for these birds. As mentioned above, our best hunting is the first cold snap when the birds head inland for high protein food. Snow geese prefer large farms and our farms vary in size from 60-415 acres. We have leased these farms for over ten years so we have a good idea of when they will use them. And of course we scout daily and have area farmers looking for us also. Snow goose hunting requires a huge amount of decoys. We use mostly silosocks and some full bodies. More so than any other waterfowl, huge spreads of decoys are an important part to harvest snow geese. Being on the ‘X” is most important but we have had a lot of good hunts (25-50 birds) just getting under the birds and hunting traffic. 200 decoys was deadly ten years ago but today 500-1500 decoys are needed for those same results. Generally our best hunting is when it gets cold and the birds head to the fields to feed. Another good time for us is February- March season for a couple reasons. The conservation season begins and the e-callers really help decoys birds especially the small bunches and it also helps tremendously on traffic hunts. Tens of thousands of snow geese move into our area this time of the season. They are starting to stage to head north and gradually move north along the tidal marshes as they stage. And lastly, like all waterfowl, windy days really produce especially when using Silosocks. Remember we are hunting snow geese that are about as predictable as the weather. These are very skittish and finicky birds that have no real agenda when it comes to decoying. The rule with snow geese are there are no rules. Let the fun begin!

There is no better place than Georgia Hog Hunting if you are looking to try out a new rifle caliber, to introduce a young one into the sport of hunting, or you just like eating pork. Georgia hog hunting from a stand is an excellent choice. We have over 100 tower stands on property and there is a food plot and feed spot and or feeder at every hog hunting location. After lunch, the guest will then be dropped off again at a different spot or where the guide thinks the hunter has the best chance for success. The guide will then pick up the guest at dark or let them sit depending on whether they are day or night hunting for hogs. 2 hog limit per day. Price is per-day

Spanish Goat Hunting in Hawaii
Molokai’s rugged terrain is home for a few different species of goats which originated from Southeast Asia and Europe. In the early 1700’s, goats were transported off the Spaniards shipwrecked boats off the coast of Hawaii and other species brought in by Westerners. Like the pigs, these Spanish goats were all domesticated at one time. Through the years, they have adapted to different environments around Hawaii. There are over 300 species of goats in world today, and they continue to evolve depending on their environment. On Molokai, these wild goats have genetically blended into a few different shapes of trophies. Some of these goats throw horns better known as ibex goats, and others carry more of the wide twisted turns. The black Hawaiian goat also makes a great hunting adventure and a beautiful addition to your trophy list. There are NO trophy fees for this hunt.

3 Day / 4 Night Muzzleloader Deer Hunt With Lodging
Guided Whitetail Deer hunts are available with options for archery, shotgun, rifle, or handgun. Hunters are typically stationed in blinds or stands, where they remain until the guide—who continues working in the surrounding area—returns. It has been observed that while a lone hunter may struggle to outsmart a mature buck, a coordinated approach using two hunters at a distance can dramatically increase the chances of harvesting a trophy. This is a three-day, four-night hunt based out of a lodge located in Clinton Falls, Indiana. Accommodations include lodging and daily meals—breakfast, a packed lunch, and dinner. The hunt allows for the harvest of one buck and includes field dressing as well as transportation of the animal from the field back to the lodge. Local taxidermy and processing services are available nearby for an additional fee.

5-Day Oregon Roosevelt Elk Hunt, 6x6+
Your stay with Fins and Feathers guide service will take place at the “ranch house”. The 4 bedroom 3 bath home is nestled in some of the most beautiful country that Douglas County has to offer. In the spring the surrounding hills and pastures are covered in fresh green grass. Oak trees covered in moss line the road to the lodge, among them you will find blooming daffodils in the spring and fall brings an array of autumn colors. No matter what season it is the setting is beautiful. The house has two televisions, one in the family room and the other in the master bedroom. The master bedroom has a separate entrance, deck, and hot tub. Each morning a guide will wake you up and let you know how much time you have until your departure. Ronnie, Craig’s mom, or Becky, will do the majority or the cooking during your stay. Occasionally the staff at Applebee’s pitches in. Breakfast will be available along with coffee and other beverages. Meals are flexible and we do our best to accommodate your taste. Lunch is always available; however it will not always be served at the house. If you are with us during Turkey season we may be eating in town at lunch time because a lot of the hunting leases are a bit of a drive from the house. Dinner will be served each evening when your hunt is complete. The house has two family rooms one with the television and the other a fireplace and two couches. Everyone here at the house strives to make your stay a lasting memory. We all enjoy what we do and getting to know all our guests. If you find pleasure in walking, the road’s on the ranch will be sure to satisfy you.

Top Notch Snow Goose Hunting in Delaware - Half Day Hunt
Centrally located between the huge tidal marshes of southern New Jersey and endless cornfields of Maryland’s Eastern Shore, Delaware winters close to 500,000 snow geese annually. Delaware is home to two major snow geese roosts- the 16,000 acre Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge (Kent County) and the 9,900 acre Prime Hook Nationals Wildlife refuge. (Sussex County) Combined these refuges host over 400,000 snow geese each fall. Both refuges provide large fresh water impoundments and tidal marshes for snow geese. We currently lease over 30 farms in Kent and Sussex county. We have farms covering a large area both close to and farther inland from the refuges. Since we have hunted these areas for over twenty years, we have leased only the best farms used by wintering snow geese. Snow goose hunting requires a huge amount of decoys. We use mostly full bodies and some silo socks. More so than any other waterfowl, huge spreads of decoys are an important part to harvest snow geese. Being on the ‘X” is most important but we have had a lot of good hunts (25-50 birds) just getting under the birds and hunting traffic. 200 decoys was deadly ten years ago but today 1500 – 2000 decoys are needed for those same results. Your guide will meet you at the hotel or at an assigned place at an assigned time. From the hotel you will follow your guide to the farm. Have your snacks, coffee, and refreshments ready for your morning hunt as we will not be stopping at a convenience store. Everyone will help in setting up the decoy spread. The guide calls all the shots. At the end of the hunt, everyone helps picking up the decoys.

10-Day Brown Bear and Mountain Goat Hunt in Cardova, Alaska - Fall
All Brown Bear hunts are conducted 1X1 (one guide, one client) to ensure your ultimate success. Depending on where you are hunt in the Cordova area, both client and guide are transported by the use of small aircraft the day before your hunt begins. Each Brown Bear spike camp are portable and removable to assure the best possible area to hunt. Each spike camp tent are 8’X8’ or larger and are equipped with cots and heaters for your comfort. Brown Bear country can be in a variety of areas, from 5000 foot mountain tops to the coastal areas of the North gulf coast. I have a saying, bears are where bears are, which can be everywhere. Once your trophy is taken, it is tagged, skinned peeled and then packed out to the extraction point. Once Brown Bear hide and skull are back at the lodge, it is fleshed, ears and lips are turned, along with knuckles and tail out, it is than salted. Trophies are normally shipped from lodge to my expeditor in Anchorage, at the end of my spring season. With the abundance of a rich food source at the Tsiu, the Brown Bears naturally grow big. We have taken many 10 foot plus bears over the year with many skulls over 28 plus. At the Tsiu, we hunt Brown Bears April through May and September through October. The Tsiu area permits each hunter to harvest one Brown each regulatory year, which does not count against the harvest of one (l) Brown every (4) years, like in other parts of Alaska. (Ursus Arctos- Latin Name) With the abundance of a rich food source in the Cordova area, such as Salmon, Moose, Mt Goats and unlimited sea life along the coast, the Brown Bears can reach weights of up to 1500 pounds. Here at the Cordova area, we hunt Brown Bears April through May and September through October. My guide use area near Cordova consist of several land owners, such as Chugach National Forest Service, BLM and State of Alaska lands, in which I am fully permitted for to conduct guide hunts. This guide use area that we hunt on permits each hunter to harvest one Brown each regulatory year, which does not count against the harvest of one (l) Brown every (4) years, like in other parts of Alaska (like Kodiak Island and Alaskan Peninsula). Here at the Tsiu River Lodge we strive to take male brown bear 9 foot or larger and have taken many bears 10 foot plus over the year with many skulls over 28 plus, with some over 29 inches. Remember, one of my goals as your professional hunter, is for you to achieve your trophy of course. But the most important goal for me as your professional hunter, is to conduct a safe, enjoyable, most of all, memorable safari adventure. Once your trophy Mt. Goat is taken, it is then tagged, skinned peeled, quartered and packed out to the extraction point. You are welcome to take your Mt. Goat meat back with you, and I can direct you to a local butcher in Cordova, that can process the meat for you. If you choose not to take your Mt. Goat meat back with you, the meat will be donated to a local elders or local charity in Cordova, never wasted. Once Mt. Goat hide and horns are back at the lodge, hide is fleshed, ears, lips, nose, tail are turned and hooves knuckles are out, it is then salted. Trophies are normally shipped from lodge to my expeditor in Anchorage, at the end of October. (Oreamnos Americanus-Latin Name) Cordova Mt. Goat population is one of the healthiest in the state of Alaska. With some of our horn genetics being one of the best in Alaska. Many of our clients receiving top awards each year during the APHA/SCI program for top scoring Mt. Goat trophies. In Cordova, our goals have been to work with local area biologist, in harvesting selected areas for trophies by a permit system, with intent not to over harvest and focus on Billy harvest only. We strive to harvest Billie’s 8 1/2 inches or better. Our average has been 9 inches or better in recent years, with a few in the 11 inches class. We have 2 classes of Billie’s in our area, normally Billie’s weighting in 285 to 325 pounds and then we have “Buffalo Billie’s” weighing in at nearly 400 pounds, a bigger genetics Mt. Goat.

Dog or Thermal Hog Hunt in South Florida - Price Includes 2 Hogs
Join us for a wild hog hunt and experience old Florida like you never have before. We have a hands-on approach to our hog hunts, running our highly trained team of hog dogs and getting up close and personal with some big boars. When the dogs pick up a scent, the hunt is on! We track hogs through thick, swampy terrain until we corner a keeper. Trust us when we say, this is a hunt you'll never forget. Due to the devastation feral hogs can create in Florida ecosystems, there is no season and no bag limit. We hunt wild hogs year-round. These aren't your average farm pigs. These are wild boars, ferocious beasts that can grow to enormous sizes and inflict serious damage. From the time the dogs pick up the scent until you take the shot, it's an adrenaline-pumping experience. While there's nothing like hunting with the dogs, and no arguing they're the best tool for the job, we also offer thermal optic night hunts. Using a Pulsar Thermal Monocular, we can spot and hunt hogs at night with ease. As our buddy Austin puts it, this beauty, the Helion XP50, boasts the ability to see a "deer fart from a thousand yards." We hunt on the Seminole Prairie Ranch property. They're great friends and great stewards of Florida wildlife and habitat. Every hunt here is like a safari, with Asian Water Buffalo, Axis Deer, and other exotic animals calling this private 2,000-acre ranch home. Our hunts help control the feral hog population and keep this Old-Florida habitat pristine.

Eastern Colorado Mule White-Tailed Deer Hunt #1 Pintada)
The Eastern Colorado Mule & Whitetails Deer Hunts are on a drawing with limited number of licenses available. The limited number of hunters has resulted in an increase in both the number and quality of our deer. When you draw a tag in our area it is good for either a Mule Deer or a Whitetail Hunt. Colorado has a preference point system and also has a percentage of licenses allotted to the landowner. This system has enabled our hunters to draw a tag with high success using the landowner preference we have available to us. Most regular season hunts you can draw allow you to hunt with us using our landowner preference. Late season hunts will take points in addition to our landowner preference. This year we will again have available a number of landowner vouchers which will enable you to purchase a license without having to draw a tag or use any accumulated preference points.

3-Specials Wild Quail Hunt in Arizona (Single Hunter)
Arizona is our bread and butter. It’s where we started, where we live, train, and scout the most. Our Arizona upland hunts are primarily based in Southern Arizona and we focus on the three species of quail located there - Gambels, Scaled, and Mearns quail. We also conduct some hunts in northern and central Arizona as requested, but those are only for Gambels quail. We will recommend a lodging location based on the species you desire to hunt. Arizona is our home turf. All of our guides are local to the area and know this quail country extremely well. We spend more time scouting and finding new pockets of birds than any other service in the area. Our Arizona quail hunts are second to none. If you desire the “Arizona quail Slam” (All three species) we are happy to accommodate that as well.

Montana Elk Hunt Adjacent to Yellowstone - Lodge
Our lodge hunts start the last week of October and run until the Sunday after Thanksgiving. This is the general season for Montana elk hunting. These hunts are less strenuous than the backcountry. The lodge is situated right above Deckard Flats, which is the main migratory route for the northern Yellowstone elk herd. We are surrounded by National Forest and just a 1/2 mile from the Yellowstone boundary. We hunt migrating elk as well as a healthy native herd. These guided hunts are 5 days in length. We take about 130 hunters a year. Our clients come back year after year and tell their friends about us. All of my hunters from my first few years in business are still hunting with us. We have taken several corporate clients, who use the elk hunt as an opportunity to reward employees or forge bonds with clients. This is the ideal for enjoying yourself and improving your business relationships! If you have the time, please take a look at the quality elk that our clients take from their expeditions with Hell’s A-Roarin’ Outfitters!

Montana Bull Elk + Cow Elk Hunt Using 4x4 Trucks, 5.5 Days, 70K Private Acres
This is a unique hunt on private land where hunts are conducted out of 4x4 trucks, making it feasible for elderly folks or those with difficulty walking. We have been operating out of our Candy Dan Camp for over 25 years. Constructed on the private ranch we hunt, located some 65 miles south of Great Falls, our base camp consists of a newly constructed cook house built in 2013, equipped with a full kitchen, buffet table, couches, hot and cold water, and a custom dining table for up to 12 hunters, three cabins for sleeping quarters for the hunters, a sauna house, and sleeping quarters for the guides. Camp is equipped with propane heat, electricity in all cabins, electricity, full shower/sauna, and WIFI! DL Elk Outfitters conducts guided rifle elk hunts on over 70,000 private acres in the Big Belt Mountains in central Montana. These private lands are home to some of Montana’s largest resident elk herds. We are not dependent on migrations, or heavy snows to push the elk out of areas we cannot hunt, giving our hunters a high chance of success. The country is rich in large grass meadows for feed, ridges, and draws of timber making excellent habitat. Elk hunters access the hunting areas by 4-wheel drive vehicles and hiking to vantage spots and glassing for bull elk. (No horses or pack strings here.) Only bull elk with brow tines are legal in our area to harvest, and that means 5, 6, and 7 point bulls are the norm here rather than the exception. Elk hunters average glassing more than 100 elk per week on our hunts. Mule Deer and Whitetail Deer are available on all elk hunts and make for a great combo. Our hunting leases, comfortable cabins, elevations under 6500 feet and 4-wheel drive access make this an area any hunter, regardless of age or physical condition, can hunt. Our rifle elk hunts are all guided 2 hunters per guide unless prior arrangements are made. Elk and deer licenses are on a draw basis and have to be applied for to the state of Montana, by March 15. Draw rates in recent years have been 100%.

Gator hunting, for many, is a misunderstood tradition. It's far from just trophies. It's about ensuring the health of Florida's environment and its inhabitants—also putting some incredible meat in the fridge. Alligators, once driven to the brink of extinction, have made a remarkable comeback. But to maintain this balance, population management like hunting is necessary. Gator hunting tactics vary based on the type of gator hunting we're doing. On private property we use rifles Regardless of the type of hunt, our main focus is ensuring you have a safe and unforgettable experience. These are spot and stalk hunts.

1x1 Arizona Pronghorn Antelope Hunt, 5-Day
We are pleased to offer hunting for trophy Arizona pronghorn antelope. It is no secret that Arizona pronghorn antelope are managed for older-age-class bucks with good genetics. What it lacks in quantity, it makes up in quality. In Arizona hunters are limited into the field by a drawing process which eliminates over harvest. This, in effect, produces a trophy-class herd. That is why it is not uncommon to see a sixteen-inch or larger horn on an Arizona pronghorn within the quality units. A glance in the record books will show that this state has produced some of the best antelope bucks in the world! We hunt the open country and prairies of Central to Southern Arizona, so long distance shooting is a must. It is not uncommon to take rifle shots over 300 yards on antelope. We recommend a flat shooting rifle cartridge, a good high-power riflescope and a Harris mounted bipod. The spot and stalk hunting methods are mainly used for our rifle and muzzleloader hunts. Muzzleloaders should be Inline style with bipods and scopes.

Picturesque Upland Hunt on 300 Acre Preserve - 6 Chukar
Whether it's low, well-managed brush cover, idle cropfields or woodland habitat, we have you covered. While it would be easy to plant vast fields of grasses and walk away, we know from 50 years of hunting experience that those types of simplistic approaches to creating cover don't work. That's why our main focus at Markover is the careful planning, executing and maintaining rich cover to create the diverse conditions of our hunting fields that generations of hunters have come to expect and enjoy. Interspersed with patches of native praire grass and intermittent low pines, you'll find our fields to be ideal for full season bird cover. Most of our off-season at Markover is spent maintaining and establishing our diverse cover. As the seasons pass, you'll find that our ground growth and foliage offerings change while continuing to offer quality bird holding areas that are available all year long without sacrificing huntability. Picturesque and well-maintained, you'll find the views throughout our fields to be a spectacular addition to your hunting experience. 6 main hunting fields 300+ acres Large group hosting - up to 15 hunters at a time (groups of up to 4) No combined groups - you hunt with your friends/family Lone hunters are welcome weekdays & as openings allow on weekends

Florida Marsh & Swamp Duck Hunt, 4 Days of Hunting, 2-Person Minimum
Hunting the marshes and swamps of Lake Okeechobee for ducks is an experience in itself. Not only do we hunt on the famous Lake Okeechobee, we also hunt various public water lakes and rivers as well as private land. On our private waters, we hunt a mixture of swamps on private ranches and big reservoirs on dairies. We chase the ducks so each hunt could be in a different location. On day one we might run the airboat in the shallow marshes of Lake Okeechobee. The next morning take the mud boat out into some open water to try ringers, then pack up and go to a private dairy to hunt in a reservoir to knock down some black bellies. No matter what type of hunt you are looking for we will accommodate. If you are looking to complete your ultimate waterfowl challenge, then we can help you with that. We shoot mottled ducks, black belly whistlers, and some fulvous when the time is right. On top of those species, we also shoot blue wing teal, green wing teal, and ringers.

We shoot mottled ducks, black belly whistlers, and some fulvous when the time is right. On top of those species, we also shoot blue wing teal, green wing teal, and ringers.

2x1 Non-Rut Coues Deer Rifle Hunt, 4-Day
Our outfit is pleased to offer quality hunting trips for the Coues Whitetailed Deer in southern Arizona near Tucson. The Coues Deer is considered one of the most prized and most challenging deer species for North American trophy hunters. This petite deer is the smallest huntable sub-species of the whitetailed deer and weighs between 70 - 100 lbs. dressed out. Mature bucks normally have 8 total points on the rack. The minimum Coues deer score for Pope and Young is 70 inches and the minimum score for Boone and Crockett is 110 inches. The Coues Whitetail is classified under a separate category in all record books because of its small, tight rack. Even the World's Record typical Coues deer (144-1/8" B&C taken by Ed Stockwell in 1953) would not make it into the Boone and Crockett book if scored and categorized under the Eastern whitetail standards. That is the reason for the separate category for this unique deer species. Hunters that have taken all the species in the "deer slam" usually consider the Coues deer one of the most rewarding and most beautiful trophies. Our Coues hunts are conducted in the vast, rugged desert mountains of southeastern Arizona, with Tucson being the closest major city. The hunting technique for Coues deer involves choosing a good vantage point and spending hours glassing through high-powered binoculars and spotting scopes. The Coues bucks may be spotted over a mile away. Once a trophy Coues buck is located, the spot and stalk method is used to get within shooting range. The canyons where Coues deer live are usually big and open. Rifle hunters should be prepared for shooting distances from 200 yards to 500 yards, if the need arises. Bow hunters typically take shots at ranges from 30 to 60 yards since it is really open terrain. Because of the topography, high-powered riflescopes on top of lightweight flat-shooting rifles with a bipod are a "must-have." Recommended rifle calibers are the .25-06 up to .300 Magnums. We do not recommend smaller calibers. Rifle season hunts are conducted during three timeframes, which are: late October, early November, and late December. Our Archery Coues hunts are conducted during the month of January when they are in full rut. SUCCESS RATES: We are proud to say that many of our rifle Coues seasons have ended with a 100% success rate! Nearly all of our past Coues hunters have been presented with opportunity.

Purebred Mouflon Sheep are considered the most highly prized game mammal on the Island of Hawaii. They live in rough lava flows at high elevation on the slope of Mauna Loa volcano. Nahele Outfitters offers one of the last opportunities to hunt trophy free range mouflon rams on the Big Island. We manage the population very closely and offer a limited number of hunts per year to ensure maximum opportunities for our hunters. Mouflon, Black Hawaiian Sheep, Vancouver Bulls, Turkey Upland Game Birds and Boar can all be hunted from the door step of the cabin.

Backcountry Rut Hunt for Trophy Moose
Alaska Moose Hunting with Willie Dvorak, Master Guide Guided moose hunting in Alaska can be a thrill of a lifetime. The hunts take place in September during the start of the rut. Calling a big bull into range is one of the most amazing things you will ever see. It is also one of the most exciting ways of hunting them. The Alaskan moose is the biggest of all moose. Great mass and wide spreads make an awe inspiring site on any trophy room wall. Moose have to be 50 inches wide or support 4 brow tines in this area to be legal. This helps insure trophy animals for next season and insures that any animal that is legal is a real trophy. It should be said that many hunters feel a moose is a “gimme” animal. This is not the case. Nor is it the case that a bull needs to be 60 inches wide to be a great trophy. The media has promoted this idea to the extent that they have taken something away from the sport of moose hunting. The first bull I ever killed was a young bull standing at 18 yards that I took with a bow on the first day of my first trip. The second bull I killed was a beautiful 56 inch bull that I shot with a .300 Win Mag at less than 100 yards on the second day of my second trip. Not all hunts are that easy. Be assured, a legal bull is a huge animal and to fill your moose tag in the wilds of Alaska will be a feat you will remember for the rest of your life. I recommend a minimum caliber of 30-06 for moose. The shots on moose are typically less than 100 yards. When you are planning a trip like this, it makes a lot of sense to be well practiced at further distances also. A 30-06 is a great weapon for any of the animals you may include on this hunt on a trophy fee basis. Trophy fee options will be applicable only if the Alaska State Game Regulations have open seasons for the species. Unless other arrangements are made, I will be your guide. In a perfect world, an employee would care about the business as much as the owner. Unfortunately, we don't live in a perfect world. I do all of my own guiding unless other arrangements are made. It is comforting for you to know that the guy who is cashing your check (me) is the same guy who will accompany you in the field (me). I put my reputation on the line every time I cash a check.

Thermal Hog Hunt in Georgia, 3-Hour, With Lodging
By now you have probably seen thermal hog hunting videos of a group of gunners all in a line in a large agricultural field sighting in on a large group of hogs in front of them. If this is a hunt you’ve always wanted to do but have never tried, you’ve found the right place. The Gopher Plantation hog hunting guides have fine-tuned their thermal hunts to guarantee an opportunity at free-range hogs every hunt. We conduct all of our thermal hog hunts on over 10,000 privately owned acres. We not only hunt the agricultural fields we also hunt in the woods over our feed sources and food plots. The Gopher Plantation staff plants over 200 acres of food plots for wildlife. Not only do our deer and turkey benefit from this but also our wild hog population. It’s not uncommon to find 4-6 groups of hogs on a 3-hour thermal hunt with us all while literally hunting out of our back door. You can add hours to your thermal hog hunt and increase the shooting opportunities. If you don’t have any thermal equipment for hog hunting at night, no problem we have you covered. We have 10 guns set up with Pulsar thermal scopes and suppressors at your disposal. The guides also have 3 sets of Pulsar thermal binoculars to spot hogs throughout your hunt. We also provide shooting sticks, snacks, and a cooler with drinks so literally all you have to do is show up. If you have your own thermal night hunting equipment or have picked up some new toys and need a place to use them, feel free to bring them on your hunt as well.

10-Day Moose and Brown Bear Hunt in Cardova, Alaska - Fall
All Moose hunts are conducted 1X1 (one guide, one client) to ensure your ultimate success. Depending on where you are hunt in the Cordova area, both client and guide are transported by the use of small aircraft the day before your hunt begins. Each Moose spike camp are portable and removable to assure the best possible area to hunt. Each spike camp tent are 8’X8’ or larger and are equipped with cots and heaters for your comfort. Moose country is very flat in this area, can be dry, but normally wet and boggy area where they live. Once your trophy is taken, it is then tagged, caped, quartered and packed out to the extraction point. You are welcome to take your Moose meat back with you, and I can direct you to a local butcher in Cordova, that can process the meat for you. If you choose not to take your Moose meat back with you, the meat will be donated to a local elders or local charity in Cordova, never wasted. Once Moose rack and cape are back at the lodge, caped is fleshed, ears, lips, nose and bell is turned and then salted. Trophies are normally shipped from lodge to my expeditor in Anchorage, at the end of October. (Alces Alces-Latin Name) – Alaska-Yukon Moose is the largest of the moose family, weighing in at close to 1400 pounds and over 7 feet tall at the shoulders. The Cordova, Alaska area has been known for over 30 years as one of the top places in the world for record class Moose, with some of the top SCI record class Moose coming from this area. Over the past 30 years, we have placed in the top three 26 times in Alaska’s APHA/SCI awards program. Here at the TSIU Lodge we strive in taking 60 inches or better with our largest reaching 80 inches. If someone were to ask me what the chances are of achieving a trophy class moose, I would say, yes the genetics are there. Remember, one of my goals as your professional hunter, is for you to achieve your trophy of course. But the most important goal for me as your professional hunter, is to conduct a safe, enjoyable, most of all, memorable safari adventure. Brown Bear: Once your trophy bear is taken, it is tagged, skinned peeled and then packed out to the extraction point. Once Brown Bear hide and skull are back at the lodge, it is fleshed, ears and lips are turned, along with knuckles and tail out, it is then salted. This guide use area that we hunt on, permits each hunter to harvest one Brown each regulatory year, which does not count against the harvest of one (l) Brown every (4) years, like in other parts of Alaska (like Kodiak Island and Alaskan Peninsula). Goat.

Free Range Mgmt. Mule Deer Hunt in TX Panhandle - 2 Day/3 Night
A management mule deer buck in our area is a mature buck that scores 150 inches or below. Many people might consider a buck this size to be a trophy, and in our opinion, any mature mule deer buck is. By following intensive management practices and only harvesting bucks that are 6 years or older, we have been able to see incredible growth in our mule deer population that allows us to offer management hunts for bucks of this calibre. Our Texas panhandle mule deer hunts are located northeast of Lubbock, TX in Motley County and Dickens County. The terrain is made up of rolling plains with drastic elevation changes consisting of cedar brakes, shinnery oak rangeland and sandy loamy rolling hills with a mix of mesquite and cedar trees. The dry landscape is broken up by many water sources, including natural springs, creeks, ponds, and solar water wells.

5-Day Spring Black Bear Hunt in Cardova
(Ursus Americanus- Latin Name) With plenty of food near the coastal areas of Cordova, our Black Bear have always been plentiful in the Cordova area, both during the spring and fall hunts. As always, we have goals, trying to achieve 6 foot or better, with an occasional 8 footer taken. Black Bear hunts are conducted 1X1 (one guide, one client) to ensure your ultimate success. But many times it’s a great starter hunt for the new young hunter to compatibility their parents or guardian. Depending on where you are hunting in the Cordova area, both client and guide are transported by the use of small aircraft the day before your hunt begins. Each Black Bear spike camp is portable and removable to assure the best possible area to hunt. Each spike camp tent is 8’X8’ or larger and is equipped with cots and heaters for your comfort. Again, Black Bear habitat varies from high covered snow peaks of their denning areas to the coastal grass areas near the coastal areas, during April, May and June. During the fall, most bears are hunted where berries are plentiful, either high up in the mountainous hillsides or low coastal areas where sometimes berries are thick. Once your trophy is taken, and it is then tagged, skinned and peeled, the meat is quartered and packed out to the extraction point. You are welcome to take your Black Bear meat back with you, and I can direct you to a local butcher in Cordova, that can process the meat for you. 5-Day Roosevelt Elk Hunt in NW California
In need of a Northwestern California elk hunting guide? A Northwestern California bull elk tag is perhaps the most coveted Roosevelt tag in the state. Only a handful of bull and either-sex tags are up for lottery every year and the hunt unit is expansive. Low pressure, rutting bulls, and room to roam – what more could a hunter ask for? How about someone who lives and works in the hunt unit who knows the elk, has years of experience calling, and who can get the animal out for you in a timely manner? Roosevelt elk are no stranger to steep, thick, nasty country. The primary tactic for targeting big bulls in the Northwest unit is calling, action can be fast and up close. There is also some opportunity for spot and stalk. We hunt elk on public land in the Northwestern unit. The unit is so big and tags extremely scarce so some of the herds in the zone have never seen human hunting pressure because hunters often focus on private land. If you have already drawn or you are sitting on a pile of elk points and are thinking about putting in for the Northwestern elk zone give us a call. NO alcohol

Spring or Fall Rio Grande Turkey Hunt - 3 Day Hunt on Private
To put it mildly – we love our turkey hunting. Turkeys in California are expanding their range every year, opening up new opportunities. In the areas we hunt it’s typically considered the Rio Grande subspecies of wild turkey. We offer spring California wild turkey hunts where you can experience your heart pound as a longbeard struts into view. We can also put you on an autumn turkey which requires a different approach but can easily be combined with several other hunting opportunities. We offer hunts on exclusive private ranches in the beautiful oak woodlands of California and also on public forestland where you can match wits with a truly wild mountain turkey. The choice is yours. Spring California Wild Turkey Hunts: Usually in February the male turkeys begin to gobble and that’s when we start hitting the hills listening and looking for strutting zones and roost trees. A day in the spring turkey woods is like magic. It starts early in the morning where we will set up near a roost tree long before first light. When the songbirds begin to sing their spring rituals is right about when the ring of gobbles echo from atop the roost trees. We will begin some light calling sequences to let the birds know there is a hen nearby. After the turkeys fly down it won’t be long before we will know if the plan worked out. Getting turkeys soon after they land on the ground from the roost is an excellent tactic. Some folks end the hunt after the morning thunder turns silent. We don’t stop there. If everyone in the group hasn’t got their bird we will hunt all day. In our experience hunting gets better as the late morning turns to afternoon. If you can get a gobble out of a turkey at 2 pm, that’s a bird that wants to play. Legal shoot time for spring turkey ends at 5 pm. On multi-day hunts the group is welcome to go and relax for the afternoon or join the guide to try and roost some birds in the evening for the next morning hunt. Fall California Wild Turkey Hunts: Fall turkey hunting takes a different approach. A common method is to break up the flocks of young-of-the-year turkeys that are still with the hen and use an assembly call to bring them back in. This technique doesn’t work so well for big Tom turkeys because they aren’t in the flocks with the young birds. The big turkeys are either alone or in bachelor groups. To kill a longbeard in autumn requires pre-season scouting to understand where they are loafing, feeding, and roosting. Our guides spend countless hours in the fall turkey woods observing sign and marking fall territories. When the season arrives it’s all about being in a strategic location to intercept the turkeys as they move about. Glassing openings and sneaking into shooting range also can be an effective method. The great thing about a fall turkey hunt is that there are so many other species that can be hunted at the same time, that live in the same region – including, mountain quail, valley quail, dove, squirrel, rabbit, gray fox, coyote, raccoon, bear, or even fishing. There is never any downtime in November and early December. Hunt can be extended for additional cost.

Thermal Hog Hunting - 3x1
Texas Style THERMAL hog hunting trips are typically structured as “spot and stalk” type hunts that start just before sundown. Our experienced guides will take hunters of any skill level through our safety course so they can feel totally ready for their night time hog experience. Over the course of four hours, we take hunting vehicles to multiple wild hog hunting areas, including both low fence and hunting preserve properties. Hunters will get the chance to scan the area with thermal and night vision devices in order to spot hogs and coyotes, as well as other non target species. Once hogs are spotted, your Texas hunting adventure is about to get WILD! We try to stalk up less than 75 yards from our target. We often see large trophy boars, as well as sounders of large numbers of wild hogs. Your guide will safely line up the shooters, and then it is up to you to knock down UNLIMITED hogs. That’s right, our thermal hunt has NO HOG LIMIT.

Year Round Hunt
Western Illinois Free Range Whitetail Hunt - Rifle
The acres your hunt will take place on are very strictly managed. South Fork hunters are required to harvest at minimum 140 inch, 3 ½ year old bucks. Having these practices in place for years has only made a good thing that much better. In addition to the doe’s that our hunters harvest, we take heard surveys that enable us to go through late season and remove doe’s in highly populated areas. As a whole – the areas you will be hunting have an excellent doe-to-buck ratio (2 or 3-to-1). Hunter to acre ratio is also very important. Low pressure is a huge part of harvesting mid-west whitetail deer. Here at South Fork, we keep ample ground for the numbers of hunters we run, with some farms not being hunted for entire seasons. This is all to ensure South Fork ground will remain the best of the best. We take stand location very seriously. This is crucial when getting close to giant Illinois bruisers. The wind and thermals are taken into consideration on every set. The stand set ups are for stealth entry and exits. Stand location is one of the biggest keys to a successful hunt- second only to having a piece of great managed whitetail ground. All stands are set by South Fork Guides that have years of experience and the bucks to prove it! The rule of thumb we live by is “if we wouldn’t hunt it, we won’t hang it!” We are as excited to get you into the stand that we hung, as you are to be in it. It’s like we are hunting with you. Our sets consist of hang–on’s with climbing sticks (20′-25′); ladder stands (16′-20′); shooting houses (7′-10′); and assorted ground blinds. We utilize over 70+ Shadowhunter Blinds to provide our gun hunters with a comfortable and solid shooting setup. We put you up close and personal, it’s just a matter of time before a big shooter reveals himself. All hunts are completely free range with no high fences in the “Golden Triangle” of Illinois- Pike, Adams, and Hancock counties. All South Fork properties provide the benefits of a long-standing Quality Deer Management Plan and uphold a Pope & Young deer scoring minimum of 140 inches or better. Trail cameras cover almost every property for the majority of the growing season giving you the chance to see a potential trophy before stepping foot in the woods. Field dressing services and deer transportation are provided by our guides if desired. Our guides will assist in meat & trophy care and preparation for shipping

Hunting white-tailed deer in Texas has several benefits that draw in hunters, including the fact that the state has one of the largest populations of white-tailed deer in the country, making it a prime hunting destination for deer hunters. The abundance of deer in Texas also means that hunters have a higher chance of success when hunting white-tailed deer, especially given that Texas has one of the longest deer hunting seasons in the country, typically beginning in early November and ending in early January. This extended season provides hunters with ample time to plan and execute their hunts, increasing the chances of a successful harvest.

Arizona Black Bear Hunting, All Inclusive, OTC Tags
Arizona offers extraordinary trophy color phase bear hunting with many record book boars harvested every year in the southwest. We primarily hunt in late summer to early fall August - November. During this time bears are very active during the day time and spend majority of their day exploring for food. Bears come in many unique color phases, black, chocolate, cinnamon, and blonde. On our hunt expect to do a great deal of glassing, walking, and hiking on spot n stalk or behind hounds, so you must be in good physical shape. These hunts offer a lot of excitement and has a very high success rate. We use three main techniques to harvest our bears, the spot-and-stalk method, the calling method, and classic behind hounds pursuit. As our primary hunting technique, we trail behind hounds. Our second technique is spot-n-stalk, we hike to a good glassing point where a few square miles of terrain can be seen at one time. Once a mature bear is spotted, we plan our stalk. Expect to take rifle shots across big canyons, so a bi-pod or tall standing shooting tripod, good high-power riflescope, and a big, flat-shooting caliber is highly recommended. Rifle shots on spot n stalk average 500+ yards, but be prepared for any distance (longer or shorter) if the need arrises. If you are a bowhunter, this Arizona spot and stalk bear hunt is the ultimate challenge. Rifle or hand gun shots behind hounds is 20 out to 50 yard shot placement. As a proven third technique, we use electronic predator call and utilize hand calling. Sometimes black bears prefer to stay in the thick oak brush, dense pinon pines, tall manzantia, prickly pear slopes, and juniper thickets where they eat acorns, pinon nuts, berries, cactus fruit, or juniper berries. These areas have thicker vegetation and allow for limited glassing. If this is where the bears are located at the time of your hunt, we may use limited glassing and use a predator call. This technique is an exciting way to pull a bear out of the brush and within shooting distance. The OTC tags and licenses for our trophy Arizona black bear hunts are purchased online and do not need to be drawn.

Mountain Goat Hunt on Baranof Island
Goat hunting requires us to go up into the mountains of Baranof Island where the goats live. It is definitely more strenuous than a bear hunt, but the views, and the experience, are well worth it! Mountain Goat hunts are conducted in October and we will be camping at an altitude of around 3,000 feet. So hunters should expect to encounter some chilly temperatures during the hunt. Layered clothing appropriate for both hiking and extended periods glassing for goats will definitely be required, as will comfortable, and well broken in hiking boots. Time will be spent glassing for the right goat that is in an accessible location, both for the harvest, and the retrieval.

Half Day Sea Duck Hunt off Georgia Coast
Growing up in rural southwest Georgia, I spent many days on the Gulf of Mexico duck hunting and fishing. In 2019 I went to college at GSU and started fishing and hunting on the Georgia coast. I have decided that because of the better inshore limits, plentiful offshore structure, and the eastern sea duck migration, that it is a worthy cause to run trips on the Georgia coastline. Not to mention the boat access to historic downtown Savannah. Fishing and chasing ducks is an honest trade that often times humbles the hearts men. So, I have set my sails to teach others the little hunting and fishing knowledge I have as a service for any that would ask me to take them out. Our main concern on adventures is that we seek to enjoy God's creation fruitfully. In accordance with love, joy, peace, patience etc. Aboard our boats we labor not for fish or ducks, which surely perish. But we labor for God, who created the heavens and the earth, and looks on those who believe in Him with favor. For this we sing songs of victory, rain or shine, height or depth, ease or toil, little or plenty. We seek not that our results would bring joy, but rejoice that our labor is in the Lord. Amen:) Can bring up to 3 hunters.

2x1 Aoudad Hunt in Glass Mountains - 4 Day, All Inclusive
These Free-Range Fair Chase Aoudad Sheep Hunts take place in the Glass Mountains in West Texas on some of the largest ranches with a combined acreage of more than 750,000 acres. The properties have large populations of Aoudad Sheep and have placed many entries into the SCI Free Range Category, including 3 in the top 25. This is by no coincidence. Only certain regions of West Texas have the superior genetics to produce record book Aoudad Sheep, which the ranches have proven many times. Property size with proper management and allowing rams with the right genetics to reach 10-14 years of age is key to producing record book Aoudad.

RUT Firearms Bull Elk Hunt, 6-Day
We offer elk hunting primarily on the Coconino National Forest with Flagstaff being the closest major city (sometimes other areas on a case by case basis). The most popular elk hunting timeframe is during the rutting season when bulls and cows are vocal. We conduct an archery rut hunt from mid to late September and an early firearms/muzzleloader rut hunt at the end of September through early October. This is the main part of the rut, so there is usually nonstop action on these hunts. Bulls can fall victim to a call during this timeframe. Nothing gets the blood pumping more than hearing a monster bull elk answer your guide's calls. If luck is on your side, the bull might come charging in for an opportunity to release an arrow. Our archery and early muzzleloader or early rifle elk hunts are conducted mostly in higher timber elevations of 7000 to 8500 ft. Even though hunting is done in September and October, the weather during these hunts are very enjoyable. It can range from 65-75 degrees in the day to 35-45 degrees at night. Complimentary accommodations are in tent camps or camping trailer, depending upon the number of hunters in camp and feasibility. The camp and the hunt area is accessed by SUV or truck and hunting is done on foot. In most cases, elk live in mountainous terrain, so hunters should be physically prepared. Hunters are encouraged to condition themselves to the best of their ability in order to increase their odds for success. If you are looking for a horseback hunt, this is NOT the hunt for you. These three early hunts are placed during the rut when elk are vocal.

10-Day Tsiu River Brown Bear and Black Bear Hunt in Cardova - Spring
This guide use area that we hunt on, permits each hunter to harvest one Brown each regulatory year, which does not count against the harvest of one (l) Brown every (4) years, like in other parts of Alaska (like Kodiak Island and Alaskan Peninsula). Depending on where you are hunt in the Cordova area, both client and guide are transported by the use of small aircraft the day before your hunt begins. Each Black Bear spike camp are portable and removable to assure the best possible area to hunt. Each spike camp tent are 8’X8’ or larger and are equipped with cots and heaters for your comfort. Once your trophy is taken, and it is then tagged, skinned and peel, the meat is quartered and packed out to the extraction point. You are welcome to take your Black Bear meat back with you, and I can direct you to a local butcher in Cordova, that can process the meat for you. If you choose not to take your Black Bear meat back with you, the meat will be donated to a local elders or local charity in Cordova, never wasted. Once the Black Bear hide and skull are back at the lodge, hide is fleshed, ears, lips, nose, tail is turned and knuckles are out, it is then salted. Trophies are normally shipped from lodge to my expeditor in Anchorage, at the end of the season.

Eastern Colorado Mule Deer Hunt #1 Pintada)

Spring Bear Hunt
Montana black bear are fair game in both the fall and spring! Color phase bears in shades of cinnamon, chocolate, and blonde are seen more frequently than jet black bears. In fact, the Swan Valley is home to some of the best black bear hunting in Montana. Our bear hunts often utilize horses, which makes us a very unique option for guided bear hunts in Montana. Montana bear hunting in our area is pure fair chase, no baiting or use of dogs, in fact we can’t even use scents. The Swan Valley is one of the few areas in Montana that remains open for black bear hunting until June 15th. In the spring these animals are very active. They consolidate in numbers on the valley floor taking advantage of the new growth to bulk up after hibernation. Using a combination of horses and hiking, we’ll hunt rockslides, search old logging roads and mountain meadows for scat and sit clear cuts. Hunters can elect to take some time to fish, taking advantage of our “Cast & Blast” offering where you can have an opportunity to shoot a black bear, catch a lake trout and a northern pike all on the same adventure.

Everglades Public Land Gator Hunt - Two Nights Lodging & Meals Included
The Everglades and the sprawling expanse around Lake Okeechobee offer an unparalleled habitat for alligators. It's a maze of interconnected waterways, sawgrass marshes, and cypress swamps that provide the perfect ecosystem for these ancient reptiles to thrive. Join us for a hunt and come see a side of Florida you never knew existed. Gator tags are highly coveted and are obtained through a lottery system. Each year we get tags for public land hunts and these hunts fill up quick! Gator hunting tactics vary based on the type of gator hunting we're doing. From hunting with rifles on private property to hunting with harpoons on airboats, our tactics are as diverse as the waterways this iconic species inhabits. Regardless of the type of hunt, our main focus is ensuring you have a safe and unforgettable experience.
