All Seasons Guide Service offers some of the very best Spring Rio Grande Turkey Hunts in the state. We have large properties with large populations of Rios, and it is common on most of our hunts to take two birds while hunting with us. We offer fully guided one-on-one hunts; you will be teamed up with one of our experienced guides, who will do the calling for you. Also, our Semi-Guided Hunts where will place you near the well-known roost, strut zones, and feeding areas, and you can call your own birds. Thermal Fully Outfitted Hog Hunt in Central Texas - All Inclusive - 2 Days / 2 Nights
You'll have a hard time choosing which one to take down! We set up strategically placed blinds in known travel, feeding and watering areas. If the hunter is capable, we really love the excitement of a great spot and stalk to hunt our wild hogs. Shoot as many hogs as you like, as this is an unlimited hog hunt but we only clean and quarter one hog with the package. The terrain consist of dense mesquite-filled, rugged pastures, food plots, river bottoms and 72 freshwater lakes where the abundant wild game has easy access to water, cover and food. This makes our area a prime spot for an abundance of monster Texas trophy hogs. Our guides take you into a choice area, stay with you, or drop you off, the choice is yours. Then the guides will bring you back to the lodge for lunch and a rest period. Then it’s back out for the evening hunt. The Gopher Plantation offers Quail Hunting in Georgia and is located approximately 95 miles from the Jacksonville airport. This makes it very convenient if you’re looking to experience some of the finest quail hunting in the South within driving distance of a major airport. If you are pursuing the thrill of a bobwhite covey rise in plantation cut pines you’ve found the right place. It’s always exciting watching well trained bird dogs point a hidden covey. While you and your quail hunting guide make the approach, a flush dog waits anticipating the command to send the quail heavenward.
Our quail hunting guides are all equipped with the proper training and tools to provide a Southern plantation style quail hunt. While quail hunting at Gopher Plantation the guests can ride on our pull behind dog buggies equipped with bench seats on top. This set up allows the guest to get a bird’s eye view of the plantation on the way to the quail hunting courses. We have 5 quail hunting courses on the property, all of which are manicured and maintained each quail hunting season. Our largest quail hunting course is approximately 50 acres. The quail hunting courses boast beautiful plantation cut pines and great ground cover to offer great shooting opportunities when bobwhites are flushed. The Gopher Plantation crew has food plots planted in these quail hunting courses and sawtooth palmettos dot the landscape as well.

The Coues deer is the smallest species of the whitetail family and also known as the "Gray Ghost" of the desert. Since the Coues deer is so small, they will vanish before your eyes, even in the Arizona open terrain. Due to their natural predators within their habitat, Coues deer are always on edge. In order to hunt this elusive animal, a great pair of high power 15x binoculars with a tripod for glassing is a must. Make sure you are in good physically hiking condition to endure the rugged Arizona terrain.
Coues Deer hunting is the ultimate challenge; however, an archery hunt during the late December & January rut would be a memorable experience for any hunter. By utilizing tree stands, natural blinds, calling and glassing methods; your guide will help you locate the "Elusive Grey Ghost". Once a buck is located the stalk is on for you to make your harvest. Archery shots typically range from 40 yards out to 70 yards range. Precision and accuracy will give you a higher chance for success on this trip, so practice is highly recommended.

We offer 3 scheduled Quail and Duck Combination Hunts per hunting season. Normally we do the first scheduled quail and duck combination hunt on the second Saturday in December. The second and third quail and duck combination hunts are normally scheduled for early and late January. If you get lucky enough to get a spot on one of these quail and duck combination hunts you will be in for a treat if you like wing shooting. Tower Shoots offer the excitement of being in a group setting while enjoying live bird shooting! 400 Ringneck pheasants will be released from an elevated tower surrounded by 10 two person shooting stations. Hunters will rotate clockwise every 40 birds to ensure fair opportunity.
Birds on the wing fly over at tree top level without warning to provide the ultimate in tower shooting. By now you have probably seen thermal hog hunting videos of a group of gunners all in a line in a large agricultural field sighting in on a large group of hogs in front of them. If this is a hunt you’ve always wanted to do but have never tried, you’ve found the right place. The Gopher Plantation hog hunting guides have fine-tuned their thermal hunts to guarantee an opportunity at free-range hogs every hunt.
We conduct all of our thermal hog hunts on over 10,000 privately owned acres. We not only hunt the agricultural fields we also hunt in the woods over our feed sources and food plots. The Gopher Plantation staff plants over 200 acres of food plots for wildlife. Not only do our deer and turkey benefit from this but also our wild hog population. It’s not uncommon to find 4-6 groups of hogs on a 3-hour thermal hunt with us all while literally hunting out of our back door. You can add hours to your thermal hog hunt and increase the shooting opportunities.
If you don’t have any thermal equipment for hog hunting at night, no problem we have you covered. We have 10 guns set up with Pulsar thermal scopes and suppressors at your disposal. The guides also have 3 sets of Pulsar thermal binoculars to spot hogs throughout your hunt. We also provide shooting sticks, snacks, and a cooler with drinks so literally all you have to do is show up. If you have your own thermal night hunting equipment or have picked up some new toys and need a place to use them, feel free to bring them on your hunt as well.

There are few things that rival the excitement of hunting elk during the month of September. The bugle is a sound you’ll remember for the rest of your life. We are fortunate to have access to some of the best archery elk hunting in the state of Wyoming. Archery elk hunts begin around the second week of September and go through the end of the month.
There isn’t a better archery hunt in North America than hunting rutting elk. We typically experience very high rates of opportunity; in the fall of 2023, 100% of our archery elk hunters had opportunities with an 80% success rate. At Big Horn Outfitters, we take pride in being hardcore bowhunters ourselves and we have the staff, skills and hunting ground to get the job done. When you see the eyes shining and hear the howling in the distance be prepared for some adrenaline flowing, heart pounding, and some quick shooting when the yotes come charging in! Whether you are a seasoned veteran or looking for your first Predator Night Hunt we can cater a hunt to meet your needs. We offer custom guided night hunts from after sunset for 4.5 hours. Or you have the option of a half day/half night hunt at additional price.
Our night hunts are conducted from December through the end of May. For our clients that don't have kill lights for their rifles or shot guns we have you covered at no additional charge!
Arizona's Rim Country, including the high and low desert areas holds the most diverse predator habitat in the world. Our variety of predators ranges from coyotes, gray foxes, to bobcats, and majestic mountain lions as well. Predator hunting during the prime time season or during the off-season or in between our big game hunts. Experience a true predator pursuit like none other in the southwest. Guiding the veteran predator hunter or instructing the beginner hunter is our passion. It is also a proven wildlife management tool for controlling the predator population in our prime hunting areas.
We offer guided hunts that are second to none involving an electronic caller and utilizing custom made hand calls. Coyotes and foxes mostly fall victim to the call, but occasionally, a bobcat will stalk-in to check out the situation. Be prepared for some point blank extreme excitement and fast shooting when any of these critters come charging or creeping into the stand. Bolt rifles & AR platform rifles are preferred for our trips since we hunt in the open country and these critters tend to be wary. Shot guns we prefer is a 12 gauge with 3" spread with #4 buck shot will do the job when we hunt the thick country. Ranges could be anywhere from point blank using a shot gun and out to 300 yards taken on centerfire shots, but the average shots taken is under 100 yards. Rimfire cartridges such as 17WSM, 22WMR, 22 Hornet, Centerfire cartridges .204, .223, .22-250, .243, .308, or the 6.5 will get it done.

Bearpaw Outfitters offer guided and unguided coyote hunts and coyote hunting information for numerous areas in Idaho, Montana, Utah, and Washington. Coyotes can be hunted year around in all four states and they can be hunted in combination with other species which may be in season. Bearpaw Outfitters know the best hotspots for hunting Coyotes and they also lease thousands of acres of the best private ranches for their hunts. Any necessary licenses are sold over the counter, hunters of any age can buy licenses in Washington. Coyote Hunting is good most anytime of the year, but late spring, early summer, and mid-winter can be especially good. Shot opportunity on guided coyote hunts is usually 50% to 100%. Unguided hunts could range anywhere from 0% to 100%. Shooting distances can vary from 5 yards to 300 yards. Sight your rifle dead on at 200 yards.
Private Ranches: These properties range in size from 50 acres to 2500 acres and offer excellent hunting. These properties are perfect for hunters with the patience to sit and watch or call.

When hunting with Duck Down Guide Service, you should expect a quality hunting experience with a professional hardworking guide.
Upon meeting your guide at the agreed location, you and your crew will load your gear in a crew cab side by side or boat and your guide will drive you to the blind or hunting location. All firearms should remain unloaded until seated in the blind and your guide is ready to hunt. For your safety and the benefit of the hunt, nobody shoots until your guide calls the shot.
We want everyone to enjoy their experience, so we ask that everyone listen and take the advice given to you by your hunting guide.
Safety is a major concern. If anyone in your blind is being careless with their firearm, we ask that you notify your guide and he will address the issue.
Morning hunts last until 10am. At this time your guide will start to gather the gear and prepare for the ride out.
If you have questions about how or where to have your birds processed or how to properly tag them, your guide will be happy to assist you.

Big Horn Outfitters offers excellent mule deer hunting opportunities in Wyoming Game and Fish regions: C & Y. We harvest excellent deer every year averaging between 150-165″, with many larger deer harvested each year. You can expect to see good numbers of animals and have opportunities at respectable bucks during your hunt.
For the most part, these hunts are only mildly physical and can be enjoyed by hunters of all ages and abilities. Success rates are generally 100% each year; the only hunters that haven’t harvested their deer were looking for a specific animal and simply chose not to take any others during their hunt. These deer hunts book up extremely fast, generally 2-4 years in advance, and they all require 2 or more preference points to draw the tag in Wyoming. Arizona is our bread and butter. It’s where we started, where we live, train, and scout the most. Our Arizona upland hunts are primarily based in Southern Arizona and we focus on the three species of quail located there - Gambels, Scaled, and Mearns quail.
We also conduct some hunts in northern and central Arizona as requested, but those are only for Gambels quail. We will recommend a lodging location based on the species you desire to hunt. Arizona is our home turf. All of our guides are local to the area and know this quail country extremely well. Trophy Coues Deer Hunt in Arizona, Rifle Hunt, 1x1, All Inclusive
The Coues deer is the smallest species of the whitetail family and also known as the "Gray Ghost" of the desert. Since the Coues deer is so small, they will vanish before your eyes, even in the Arizona open terrain.
Due to their natural predators within their habitat, Coues deer are always on edge. In order to hunt this elusive animal, a great pair of high power 15x binoculars with a tripod for glassing is a must. Make sure you are in good physically hiking condition to endure the rugged Arizona terrain.
Rifle seasons are in October, November, and December. Late December these rutting bucks will be busy rut mode chasing other bucks away from their doe and will make the hunt somewhat easier. The rifle season will be cool to cold temperatures and the bucks can be up and about all day. You will mostly see them up in the mornings sunbathing and during the days bedded up in the shadows. Shots can be as close as 300 yards out to 800+ yards. Knowing this, the hunter must start practicing long range practice before the season starts. It would be wise to shoot with a bi-pod or shooting stick in different positions—you never know where that huge buck will appear and you must be ready.

Florida March & Swamp Duck Hunt, 4 Days of Hunting, 2-Person Minimum
Hunting the marshes and swamps of Lake Okeechobee for ducks is an experience in itself. Not only do we hunt on the famous Lake Okeechobee, we also hunt various public water lakes and rivers as well as private land. On our private waters, we hunt a mixture of swamps on private ranches and big reservoirs on dairies. We chase the ducks so each hunt could be in a different location.
On day one we might run the airboat in the shallow marshes of Lake Okeechobee. The next morning take the mud boat out into some open water to try ringers, then pack up and go to a private dairy to hunt in a reservoir to knock down some black bellies. No matter what type of hunt you are looking for we will accommodate. If you are looking to complete your ultimate waterfowl challenge, then we can help you with that.
We shoot mottled ducks, black belly whistlers, and some fulvous when the time is right. On top of those species, we also shoot blue wing teal, green wing teal, and ringers.

2x1 Guided Merriam's Turkey Hunt
The turkeys we hunt are primarily in remote areas and live many miles from human civilization. Unlike Nebraska or other transplant States, these are truly "wild turkeys." They live in their natural forested, mountain habitat with no food plots, no farm fields, no feeders or other human influence. Since Merriam's are mountain dwelling turkeys, our hunts take place in the Ponderosa Pine forests at elevations around 6500 to 8500 feet. The mountainous hunt area has breathtaking scenery and great temperatures of around 75 degrees in the day and 40 degrees at night. Arizona Shotgun Spring Season Merriam's turkey tags are on a lottery draw. We typically hunt for northern Arizona Merriam's turkey within public land, such as the Coconino National Forest.
These are fully-guided turkey hunts. Hunters are led into the field daily by an experienced Merriam's turkey guide in order to provide the highest chances for success. Our guides are very familiar with the area, terrain, where the birds hang-out, and more importantly, the techniques needed to effectively hunt native mountain Merriam's turkeys. We conduct 1-on-1 and 2-on-1 turkey hunts, but to increase odds of harvesting, each hunter should consider having their own guide. If choosing 2-on-1, it is a requirement that you bring the other hunter to share the guide with. If you cannot find a hunting partner, you will have your own personal guide and get the 1-on-1 rate. We keep camp sizes to a minimum to ensure the utmost quality of the hunting experience.
Northern Arizona is home to the Merriam’s wild turkey, whereas southern Arizona is where the Gould's turkey resides. Historically, the Merriam's turkey was only found in 3 states: Arizona, New Mexico, and Colorado. Merriam's have been transplanted from these three states to many parts of the country, but a unique place to hunt them is in their indigenous area. Arizona turkeys are wild and native birds. This is where the Merriam's originated, so they are pure. There is no hybridization in our areas like some other areas of the country that offer Merriam's turkey hunting. Characteristics: The bright colors of the Arizona Merriam's turkey will amaze hunters that are only familiar with the other turkey subspecies. Merriam's have a cream-white accent on the outer edge of the tail feathers and rump, unlike the Eastern, Osceola, and Rio Grande turkeys (Gould's typically have pure white). It's light colored tail tips are an intermediate between the tan Rio's and the white Gould's. The primary wing feathers are mostly white with small black accent bars (the opposite is true with the wing barring on the other 3 sub-species).

Quality Florida Alligator Day-Hunt
The single day alligator hunts are a little more laid back than the multi-night boat hunts. The alligator hunts in Florida are primarily done during the day in lakes or ponds. A crossbow, regular bow, gun, fishing pole, or baited hook is the primary method of harvesting gators on this type of hunt. If you are a first time alligator hunter a day hunt may be a good option. The thrill of seeing alligators in the light of day is something all first time hunters should experience. Day hunts are a little less intense as well. You will scan the Florida swamps by boat and when a gator is spotted we will attempt to snag it – that’s when the fight begins.
Once the gator is snagged you will have the opportunity to harvest it with your weapon of choice. Rifle hunts allow for longer shots, 25 to 30 yards, and archery, spear or other methods require getting a little closer. God's Country rifle gator hunts are only available on private land day hunts. This is a great option as rifles allow the hunter the opportunity for longer kill shots. Many hunters will choose to bring multiple weapons on the hunt, the way a hunt unfolds may dictate which weapon is used in the kill shot on the alligator.
When you contact us about planning your hunt we will answer questions and give advice to help you choose the best weapon options to make your Florida gator hunt exciting and successful! As with any hunt, an archery hunt is much more challenging for Florida alligators than some of the other weapon options. Bow hunters will need to be experienced to be successful with this hunt. Shot distances are usually pretty short with archery hunts but a clean shot is necessary whether it’s a night or day alligator hunt. A 60 lb. draw is sufficient and you will need a fishing rig attachment. We recommend practicing precise short shots prior to your hunt.

Backcountry 7-Day Montana Elk Hunts Adjacent to Yellowstone
We have a remote backcountry camp in the Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness in Montana, adjacent to the northern boundary of Yellowstone National Park. Our backcountry elk hunts start during the bugle season, September 15 and run through to October 15. This is an early rifle season and the hunts are 7 days long. The horseback ride to camp from my lodge is 22 miles.
Our camp is very comfortable, with wall tents, stoves, cots, foam pads and lanterns. We always have an excellent and congenial cook in camp, with plentiful, home style meals. Our string of horses and mules are the best in the business and gentle for anyone to ride.
I personally guide, and my crew of hunting guides is the best to be found. We all work as a team, and do not feel satisfied until every hunter in camp fills out. Your success of hunting and killing an elk is our main goal!

Drop Camp Backcountry Hunt for Black, Wolverine and/or Wolf
I offer a limited number of unguided hunts in southwestern Alaska. Unguided hunts should not be taken lightly. In my career, I have witnessed several experienced hunters/outdoorsmen be overwhelmed by the Alaskan wilderness. I have also seen several hunters come out early because they were not physically and mentally ready for the challenge. Don't let this happen to you.
That being said, an unguided hunt in Alaska is one of the most rewarding hunts an avid hunter can experience. You should consider this type of hunt if you are in excellent physical fitness, have a “can-do” attitude, practical hunting experience, and possess excellent wilderness survival skills such as map reading, first aid, camping, and orienteering. When done, you will be able to say that you guided yourself hunting on the Last Frontier.
I will fully outfit you with enough food and gear for the duration of your hunt. I supply modern gear in excellent working condition. I will provide a gear list for you. When you are compiling your gear, do not be tempted to bring the same kind and quantity of gear you would take on a Rocky Mountain elk hunt. Don't be afraid to call me with questions like this and I will do my best to get you squared away.
Non-guided hunter groups will need to make a $500 gear deposit to cover lost or damaged gear. If the gear is returned and not damaged, the full gear deposit will be refunded. Non-guided hunters must also view a video about legal animals and meat care. I will send you the video and a form to sign and send into the State of Alaska. You cannot go into the field until the State receives your signed form.

10-Day Arizona Bighorn Sheep Hunt
We are proud to offer hunting trips for the most prized big game species in North America, the desert bighorn sheep (Ovis canadensis mexicana and nelsoni). Arizona has produced numerous large rams and stands up to being the top state as a quality producer. Like all states, Arizona bighorn sheep tags are by a lottery drawing. If you are lucky enough to draw this "coveted tag," you stand a great chance of getting a record-book head. Desert big horn sheep tags are limited to such an extent that Arizona only allows each hunter one desert bighorn sheep in a lifetime. Tags may be difficult to draw, so our possible hunters are encouraged to apply each year and build points until drawn. You never know when you will draw. Some hunters draw with one bonus point, which means it is truly luck-of-the-draw!
If you have the itch for a beautiful desert ram and feel lucky enough to draw one of the "coveted tags," we have the hunt for you! Our master sheep guide, Pat Feldt and his assistants, have spent many years in the field with desert bighorn sheep and know them well. Pat is a member of the Desert Bighorn Sheep Society, has a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Biology and is very knowledgeable and experienced in locating, hunting, and judging bighorn sheep. Much of his and his assistants' spare time is spent looking for and observing sheep, whether it is just for fun or trying to video another record-book ram. Pat's many years of sheep experience has allowed hunters to harvest exceptional quality bighorn rams. Several rams harvested over the years have made the Boone and Crockett minimum.
In Arizona, you have the ability to hunt two different sub-species of desert bighorn sheep: either the heavy-horned and tight-curled Mexicana subspecies or the wide, flare-horned Nelsoni subspecies. This depends upon which area or unit you draw. The sheep in the northwest areas of Arizona from the Bill Williams River northward are classified as Nelson desert bighorn sheep. The southern area below the Bill Williams River toward the Mexican border is home to the Mexicana. We have hunted in various bighorn sheep units throughout the State of Arizona. Sheep locations within these units vary from year to year because desert bighorn rams have a very large home range. This is due mainly to the constantly changing food and water resources of the desert ecosystem. Rams also move around a lot during the late summer rut before settling down in late October or early November. Your area is scouted extensively prior to the December hunt to locate not only the best concentration of sheep, but the best rams in that area. We can often find the same rams during the hunt that were located during scouting. So, if we find a big ram during scouting in October or November, with patience, we will more than likely find him during your December hunt.

Two-Day Doe / Meat Axis Hunt on Maui
The Axis deer was introduced to Maui in the late 1950s. The Axis deer quickly multiplied since no natural predators existed on the island to manage the population. Axis deer are estimated to exceed 50,000 in total on Maui. The population is so large that island residents have difficulty protecting the island's natural and precious ecosystems. Hunting Axis deer is a sustainable practice that helps conserve the beauty and abundance of Maui's plants and other wildlife.
All deer hunts can last up to 2 days. The hunt will end when (1) the hunter reaches the quota of deer as allotted by the selected plan, or (2) the hunt exceeds 2 days. An extra day of hunting for all hunt packages will be an additional charge. Extra hunting days will include all regular services.

All Whitetail packages are priced per person. This hunt has no minimum number of people needed. Hunts are not guarantees but we will do everything in our power to help you shoot your target buck. Our whitetail hunts are not guaranteed; however we do have a very high success rate and are scouting constantly to ensure your hunt is successful. If for some reason you do not harvest a deer, we only charge a nightly rate of $375 for your stay and all Lodge amenities. We try our best to recover all wounded deer. Wounded and non recovered deer count as a fallen deer so we encourage use of our rifle range as well and are happy to give assistance and tips in shooting your dream whitetail.

Guided Alaska brown bear hunting is awesome. The Alaskan Brown Bear is the most coveted trophy on the North American continent. Sportsmen from around the world come to Alaska to hunt the biggest and most powerful of all bears, the Alaskan Brown bear. When you see these bears walk across the Alaskan tundra you cannot help but be in awe. Just seeing them will make the hair on the back of your neck stand up. Hunting them provides great excitement and a trip you will never forget.
The brown bear season starts in August. I conduct hunts through the end of September in southwestern Alaska. I specialize in hunting the big brown bears. These bears are big, powerful and must be respected. My hunting area boasts a high brown bear population density. If you have ever wanted to take a brown bear, come hunting with me.
I hunt out of spike camps. This puts us close to where the action is. We will be camped where preseason scouting has indicated bear activity and where I believe we can hunt effectively. We will do all of our hunting on these hunts in hunting boots, not waders, and do a lot of glassing hillsides, mountains, and drainages.
Unless other arrangements are made, I will be your guide. In a perfect world, an employee would care about the business as much as the owner. Unfortunately, we don't live in a perfect world. I do all of my own guiding unless other arrangements are made. It is comforting for you to know that the guy who is cashing your check (me) is the same guy who will accompany you in the field (me). I put my reputation on the line every time I cash a check.
When researching a hunt, you should ask to speak with ALL of the clients who hunted the same time you are considering hunting the previous year. It is foolish to consider booking a hunt with an outfitter before you speak with hunters who have hunted the same time and place during the previous season. It is important to know ahead of time what you are getting for your money. I am proud of the attention I give each client before, during, and after the hunt. Most importantly, DON'T CONSIDER BOOKING A HUNT WITH ANYONE THAT IS NOT WILLING TO GIVE YOU PHONE NUMBERS AND/OR EMAIL ADDRESSES OF ALL OF THEIR CLIENTS FROM THE PREVIOUS YEAR.
The state regulations require salvaging the head and hide only on brown bears. I encourage hunters to take home the meat of brown bears in the "ethics" mind set. I am picking up the tab to ship the meat back to Anchorage because I like to see hunters make some use out of the meat. It is not required, but I encourage it.

Arizona's Rim Country, including the high and low desert areas, holds the most diverse predator habitat in the world. Our variety of predators ranges from coyotes, gray foxes, to bobcats, and majestic mountain lions as well. Predator hunting during the prime time season or during the off-season or in between our big game hunts. Experience a true predator pursuit like none other in the southwest. We offer guided hunts that are second to none involving an electronic caller and utilizing custom made hand calls. Coyotes and foxes mostly fall victim to the call, but occasionally, a bobcat will stalk-in to check out the situation. Be prepared for some point blank extreme excitement and fast shooting when any of these critters come charging or creeping into the stand. Our exclusive guided predator hunts are offered on a daily rate basis or in multiple days. On our Arizona guided predator trips, we recommend our clients to book more than one day to pile up your Fur-Slam on your trip. A typical day of predator hunting takes place around either northern, eastern, & southern Arizona, and or on private ranches within the state in the higher & low desert areas in the heart of Arizona.
Bolt rifles & AR platform rifles are preferred for our trips since we hunt in the open country and these critters tend to be wary. Shotguns we prefer is a 12 gauge with 3" spread with #4 buck shot will do the job when we hunt the thick country. Ranges could be anywhere from point blank using a shotgun and out to 300 yards taken on centerfire shots, but the average shots taken is under 100 yards. Rimfire cartridges such as 17WSM, 22WMR, 22 Hornet, Centerfire cartridges .204, .223, .22-250, .243, .308, or the 6.5 will get it done.
DATES: This is a year-round hunt for coyotes, but grey fox and bobcat are from roughly Sep 1 - Mar 31.

Montana Combo Elk + Antelope Hunt Using 4x4 Trucks, 5.5 Days, 70K Private Acres
This is a unique hunt on private land where hunts are conducted out of 4x4 trucks, making it feasible for elderly folks or those with difficulty walking.
We have been operating out of our Candy Dan Camp for over 25 years. Constructed on the private ranch we hunt, located some 65 miles south of Great Falls, our base camp consists of a newly constructed cook house built in 2013, equipped with a full kitchen, buffet table, couches, hot and cold water, and a custom dining table for up to 12 hunters, three cabins for sleeping quarters for the hunters, a sauna house, and sleeping quarters for the guides. Camp is equipped with propane heat, electricity in all cabins, full shower/sauna, and WIFI!
DL Elk Outfitters conducts guided rifle elk hunts on over 70,000 private acres in the Big Belt Mountains in central Montana. These private lands are home to some of Montana’s largest resident elk herds. We are not dependent on migrations or heavy snows to push the elk out of areas we cannot hunt, giving our hunters a high chance of success. The country is rich in large grass meadows for feed to ridges and draws of timber, making excellent habitat. Elk hunters access the hunting areas by 4-wheel drive vehicles and hiking to vantage spots and glassing for bull elk. (No horses or pack strings here.)
Only bull elk with brow tines are legal in our area to harvest and that means 5, 6, and 7 point bulls are the norm here rather than the exception. Elk hunters average glassing more than 100 elk per week on our hunts. Mule Deer and Whitetail Deer are available on all elk hunts and make for a great combo. Our hunting leases, comfortable cabins, elevations under 6500 feet, and 4-wheel drive access make this an area any hunter regardless of age or physical condition can hunt. Our rifle elk hunts are all guided 2 hunters per guide unless prior arrangements are made. Elk and deer licenses are on a draw basis and have to be applied for to the state of Montana by March 15. Draw rates in recent years have been 100%.

Our antelope hunts are conducted in the month of October on our private leases. The antelope herds are healthy and growing. Trophy bucks in our area average 13-14″ with 15″ a possibility. Western Illinois Free Range Whitetail Hunt - Rifle
The acres your hunt will take place on are very strictly managed. South Fork hunters are required to harvest at minimum 140 inch, 3 ½ year old bucks. Having these practices in place for years has only made a good thing that much better. In addition to the doe’s that our hunters harvest, we take heard surveys that enable us to go through late season and remove doe’s in highly populated areas. As a whole – the areas you will be hunting have an excellent doe-to-buck ratio (2 or 3-to-1). Hunter to acre ratio is also very important. Low pressure is a huge part of harvesting mid-west whitetail deer. Here at South Fork, we keep ample ground for the numbers of hunters we run, with some farms not being hunted for entire seasons. This is all to ensure South Fork ground will remain the best of the best.
We take stand location very seriously. This is crucial when getting close to giant Illinois bruisers. The wind and thermals are taken into consideration on every set. The stand set ups are for stealth entry and exits. Stand location is one of the biggest keys to a successful hunt- second only to having a piece of great managed whitetail ground. All stands are set by South Fork Guides that have years of experience and the bucks to prove it! The rule of thumb we live by is “if we wouldn’t hunt it, we won’t hang it!” We are as excited to get you into the stand that we hung, as you are to be in it. It’s like we are hunting with you. Our sets consist of hang–on’s with climbing sticks (20′-25′); ladder stands (16′-20′); shooting houses (7′-10′); and assorted ground blinds. We utilize over 70+ Shadowhunter Blinds to provide our gun hunters with a comfortable and solid shooting setup. We put you up close and personal, it’s just a matter of time before a big shooter reveals himself.
All hunts are completely free range with no high fences in the “Golden Triangle” of Illinois- Pike, Adams, and Hancock counties.
All South Fork properties provide the benefits of a long-standing Quality Deer Management Plan and uphold a Pope & Young deer scoring minimum of 140 inches or better.
Trail cameras cover almost every property for the majority of the growing season giving you the chance to see a potential trophy before stepping foot in the woods.
Field dressing services and deer transportation are provided by our guides if desired.
