We hunt different times of day depending on the type of adventure you are looking for, the particular body of water we are hunting, the weather, etc. Ultimately we can hunt any time of day to accommodate your needs. We always adjust to conditions to make the most of your time on the water and get you on your gator! Morning Alligator Hunts typically start around 9:00 am on our private water hunts and around 6:30 am on Public water hunts. The length of the hunt depends on where we are hunting, the number and size gator(s) you are after. A rough average would be 3 to 4 hours for a gator hunt. We can cater to your hunt to the experience you are looking for.
**We transport your Gator(s) to the processor and taxidermist so you don’t have to.** Have your hunt filmed and take home a DVD for you to share with family and friends. A DVD of your hunt is available for $200 and well worth it! The time frame for our hunts is no different than a late dinner or an early morning fishing trip. If you have a specific time you want to be on or off the water we will gladly accommodate the timing of your trip to meet your needs. Capt. Snipe Hunt on Large Florida Public Property
Snipe Hunting is just a practical joke, right? Well, not quite… at Fox Brown Outfitters Snipe Hunting actually exists. Snipe are small birds; brown, white, rust and black in color, with elongated beaks. The key to finding these birds is finding mud filled, wet, and dark soiled areas. Waterproof boots are essential for hunting snipe.
Snipe hunting is regulated by the state and availability is controlled based on current conditions. Snipe are allowed to be harvested in Florida from November 1st, to February 15th, with an eight bird bag-limit. But don’t be fooled, it will be hard to tag out, these little birds fly fast, and as soon as you think you’ve got a shot, they dive, dip, and bolt the opposite direction! This hunt is for the sportsman looking for a challenge! This hunt includes lunch and the cleaning and packaging of your snipe. Shotguns may be rented and extra shells are available at an additional cost.

Florida wild hog hunting at its finest. A time honored tradition that has been past down from generation to generation. At Black Tine Outfitters we don't wait for a specific hunting season to come back around. In the state of Florida; feral hog hunting can be conducted year round on private land. So we take full advantage of this opportunity. There is also no license or permits required. Our wild hog hunts include guide, transportation, cleaning and quartering of all harvested hogs. Processing and packaging of your wild hog can be arranged at an additional charge with one of our local processors. Clients can choose from several different options such as half day, full day, and night time hunts. You can bring your own weapon or rent one of ours, archery hunters are welcome. And don't worry about hidden fees or trophy fees because we don't have any of those. This hunt is fun for the whole family of all ages. We do not have a minimum or maximum restriction on group size. We are happy to accommodate single hunters as well large corporate retreats.
We do not require any experience to participate in our wild hog hunts as our professional staff will take the time to give instructions and advice on the "do's and don'ts" of wild hog hunting. With being the most affordable big game hunting experience in North America; wild hog hunting is surely a great introduction to the outdoors for children and beginners. We don't have second jobs. We maintain our land, feeders, food plots, trail cameras, tree stands etc all year long. We pride ourselves in offering not only quality, but also a true honest hunting experience. The hunting industry can be non-forgiving, long days and even longer nights. But, "This, Is What We Do!" Our day time wild hog hunts are conducted primarily early morning or late afternoons as these time periods have proven to provide the best opportunity for success. Clients can choose a half day or a full day hog hunt with a half day hunt consisting of either morning or afternoon and a full day hunt consisting of both morning and afternoon. We operate our day time hog hunts traditionally using only the latest top of the line tree stands, box stands, and ground blinds to ensure that we can accommodate any hunters needs.
Upon arrival; our professional guides will go over the rules of the ranch and have everyone in your party sign in before heading out for the hunt. All transportation is provided while on the ranch both to and from our hog hunting locations. Once you harvest a wild hog our guides will assist with blood trailing and the extraction of the wild hog and then head to the cleaning facility to perform the cleaning and quartering which is included in the hog hunt at no additional charge. Time and time again this method of hunting has provided optimal results for first time hunters all the way up to experienced archery hunters.

Private Land, Central Florida Whitetail Hunt - 4 Day, includes two Wild Hogs!
Our Florida whitetail deer hunts are conducted on approximately 9,800 acres of private land. All land is quality managed and has been since the early 1930's. Clients are encouraged to harvest mature whitetails; however, we do follow the state of Florida rules and regulations minimum requirement of 3 points on one side for antlered deer. At Black Tine Outfitters we don't have second jobs, we maintain feeders, food plots, and mineral sites on a yearly basis. We believe this provides a valuable food source and helps in keeping a stable and healthy herd. Combined with over 40 years of experience hunting and guiding throughout the state of Florida, rest assured that Black Tine Outfitters can put you where the deer are.
We offer several different hunting packages including whitetail deer and wild hog combo hunts. Everything from 2-day hunts to 5-day hunts. We utilize ladder stands, shooting houses, and ground blinds to ensure your safety is first priority. All transportation to and from hunting locations is provided, including extraction, cleaning, and quartering of harvested game. You will also find that we do not believe in trophy fees. Over the years we have had several clients harvest whitetails scoring in the mid 130 to low 140 class range with no additional trophy fees applied. The Seminole whitetail can be very challenging. It is often compared to hunting its sub-species the coues deer to the west. Terrain is thick and oftentimes marshy. Florida's unpredictable climate combined with its extreme humidity can make the practice of quality scent control almost impossible. The rut season for the Seminole whitetail can also be very unpredictable as our seasonal temperatures can vary dramatically day to day causing the rut to inconsistently "turn on" and "turn off." Clients are encouraged to take their hunt seriously and apply the basic fundamentals of whitetail hunting to their hunt with us as harvesting a mature Seminole whitetail can be difficult but is also a well-respected trophy. The average 4 1/2 year old buck harvested on our farms typically scores between 100"-115" and will weigh approximately 145-170 lbs depending on the time of year.

400-Bird Tower Pheasant Shoot
Tower Shoots offer the excitement of being in a group setting while enjoying live bird shooting! 400 Ringneck pheasants will be released from an elevated tower surrounded by 10 two person shooting stations. Hunters will rotate clockwise every 40 birds to ensure fair opportunity.
Birds on the wing fly over at tree top level without warning to provide the ultimate in tower shooting. Private Land, Central Florida Whitetail Hunt - 3 Day, includes two Wild Hogs!
Our Florida whitetail deer hunts are conducted on approximately 9,800 acres of private land. All land is quality managed and has been since the early 1930's. Clients are encouraged to harvest mature whitetails; however, we do follow the state of Florida rules and regulations minimum requirement of 3 points on one side for antlered deer. At Black Tine Outfitters we don't have second jobs; we maintain feeders, food plots, and mineral sites on a yearly basis. We believe this provides a valuable food source and helps in keeping a stable and healthy herd. Combined with over 40 years of experience hunting and guiding throughout the state of Florida; rest assured that Black Tine Outfitters can put you where the deer are.
We offer several different hunting packages including whitetail deer and wild hog combo hunts, everything from 2 day hunts to 5 day hunts. We utilize ladder stands, shooting houses, and ground blinds to ensure your safety is first priority. All transportation to and from hunting locations is provided, including extraction, cleaning, and quartering of harvested game. You will also find that we do not believe in trophy fees. Over the years, we have had several clients harvest whitetails scoring in the mid 130 to low 140 class range with no additional trophy fees applied. The Seminole whitetail can be very challenging. It is often compared to hunting its sub-species, the coues deer, to the west. Terrain is thick and oftentimes marshy. Florida's unpredictable climate, combined with its extreme humidity, can make the practice of quality scent control almost impossible. The rut season for the Seminole whitetail can also be very unpredictable as our seasonal temperatures can vary dramatically day to day, causing the rut to inconsistently "turn on" and "turn off." Clients are encouraged to take their hunt serious and apply the basic fundamentals of whitetail hunting to their hunt with us as harvesting a mature Seminole whitetail can be difficult but is also a well-respected trophy. The average 4 1/2 year old buck harvested on our farms typically scores between 100"-115" and will weigh approximately 145-170 lbs depending on the time of year.

Florida Gator Hunt
Our hunts normally start out between 9-10 a.m unless otherwise scheduled to take place earlier/later. Upon arrival we will meet up with you and discuss what size gator you're after, and make sure each person participating in the hunt has obtained the proper licensing needed. After going over the details of the hunt and getting each participants waiver signed, we then head out to do a spot-and-stalk type hunt.
We will be hunting by foot and using 4x4 side by sides to hunt from. Once we have located the right size gator you‘re after we’ll use offshore style fishing rods to snag the gator with a treble hook, and hand the rod off the hunter to fight the gator up to the bank. From there on out it is up to you to collect your trophy by using a bangstick, handgun, bow, etc. to take the gator. Once the hunt is finished we will be sure to take plenty of pictures, bring the kills back to our processing facility, and discuss taxidermy options.
Gator hunts have a base price of $900 for a 6-7' gator, but then increase based on the size: $1,200 for 7-8', $1,500 for 8-9', $2,250 for 9-10', $3,570 for 10-11', $6,500 for 11-12', $10,000 for 12-12.5', $12,500 for 12.5-13', and $15,000 for 13'+. Non–hunter member add ons: If people in your party/group are not going to participate in the hunt, they do not need any license or permit. All spectators are welcome to come along on your Townsend & Sons hunt free of charge. However, if they are 16 years old or older and would like to help you hunt alligators, they will also need to purchase the $51.50 Alligator Farming Agent License. Youth, ages 15 and younger, do not need an Agent License to assist in Alligator hunting.
What to Wear: We recommend wearing a lightweight short or long sleeve shirt, close-toed shoes, and long pants. We leave it totally up to you to wear what you will feel you most comfortable in. It's not necessary to wear camouflage, but we typically wear neutral or earth toned colors (green, brown, black, etc.) If you are sensitive to the sun we recommend wearing a hat, as well as sunscreen. Bug spray is always a great idea as we never seem to have a shortage of bugs here in south Florida!

When you arrive be prepared to board a large swamp buggy, capable of tackling all of Florida’s marshes and thick terrain! The buggy’s tall platform deck will have you elevated to view vast areas surrounding you, and shooting towers will keep you secure and give you a rest whether you are stopped to shoot or running and gunning.
For closer encounters, after locating your hog, you will be on foot with your guide beside you. You will enter 2,600 acres, where while hunting for hogs you will get to also see all of the exotic and native game offered at Fox Brown Outfitters. Experienced dogs will be used to wind off of the buggy until they alert that they have picked up a scent. Your guide will release the dogs who will locate and bay the hog….. This is where your high paced adventure begins, so get ready!
At this point in the hunt you will have your choice as to how you’d like to take your hog. Possibilities include but are not limited to: shotgun, rifle, handgun, bow and arrow, spear, or knife. Your guide will be with you the entire time to ensure your safety, and the safety of the dogs. No two hunts are the same, you may get a close shot or a long distance running shot. There are no hog pens or hogs released from traps, this is authentic hunting and can go quickly, or can take all day. We have access to thousands of acres right here in south Florida to try to slow down the coyote problem which is taking over much of the united states.
Coyote hunts are typically very fast-paced, 90% of the time we will see the dogs running in within 10 minutes of turning on the call.
