Public Land Bull Elk, Deep Backcountry Hunt, Primitive Setup
In the eastern part of the San Luis Valley, located in GMU 82, The Great Sand Dunes National Preserve offers 32,000 acres of over-crowed elk also known as the βsand dunes herdβ. On this hunt, you will be packing in horseback and staying in a tent with wood stove. Hunting packages are available for archery and rifle. Hunts are fully guided for 5 days, but plan on arriving a day or two early to get into the base camp and staying a day later if wanting to hunt the full 5 days. Our guided pack-in sand dune hunts will take place in prime country for trophy bull elk. Elevation ranges between 8,500-12,000 feet in the sand dunes. These areas typically contain aspen groves and deep drainages. Our pack-in camps reside in several different locations . The base camps are off the grid and anywhere from a two to eight hour horseback ride. Once you arrive to the spike camp, hunting will be done mainly on foot everyday. A day on this hunt begins with your guides cooking breakfast, starting fires, and prepping gear for the day. After which, you will begin to head to the hunting location at where you will spend most of the day. After hunting hours are over, you will return back to base camp where dinner will be prepared depending on the pack in it could be quick prepared food.

Boat-Based Alaska Brown Bear Hunt, Fall
All of our hunts are fair chase and based from our vessel the Western Profit. For bear hunts, hunters will be accompanied by one of our guides in skiffs to locate bears, and then put ashore for the stalk. In the Sitka area, on Baranof and Chichagof islandβs have some of the highest brown bear populations in the world.
The brown bear represents the spirit of Alaska, especially in Sitka. Strength & Untamed. This is the ultimate challenge for hunters looking for a True Fair chase hunt in Southeast Alaskaβs Tongass National Forest. Our Brown bear hunt is exclusive for two (2) hunters per 10 day trip. One on one β one guide per hunter, ensuring optimum success for each hunter. Individual hunter success for the last five years has been 85%-100%! Brown, Grizzlies and Kodiaks were once thought to be separate sub-species; however, it is generally agreed now that they are the same species. The Brown bear, so named because he lives within 50 miles of the sea and usually supplements his diet with salmon, is much larger than the inland grizzly. The Brown Bear is the largest land carnivore on earth, although there is some dispute over his cousin the Polar Bear, which spends the bulk of his life on ice flows. Admiralty, Baranof and Chichagof Islands in Southeast Alaska have the densest populations of Brown Bear in the world.
In general, bear hunting is more relaxed than many other hunts. Typically the hunt will not begin until afternoon when things have warmed up a bit and bears are more active. So sleeping in is actually a thing on bear hunts! Typically a leisurely breakfast aboard the boat is followed up by a few hours of relaxing glassing where all manner of animals from bears, whales, deer, sea otters, harbor seals, eagles and any number of other species may be observed. Not to mention the amazing scenery that is Southeast Alaska. Or if youβre lucky, go pull up a pot of Dungeness crab for lunch/dinner!
Next comes lunch, which tends to be the heaviest meal of the day. After that, hunters and guides launch in the skiffs to begin the hunt. Hunting style, locales, and equipment differ between spring and fall, so we will break those out a bit more below. Fall brings streams full of spawning salmon to southeast Alaska. During this time, bears are in the last desperate rush to pack on calories before the long winter hibernation. Egg laden salmon in the tight confines of a stream are a bonanza of high fat calorie protein, and the final significant feast before winter sets in and the bears den up until Spring. For this reason, bears are hyper focused on feeding, and it is not unusual to see large numbers in a small area simply feeding.
During the Fall, the focus shifts to these stream-bound bears as they gorge themselves on salmon. It is common to see as many as 25 bears on a fall hunt. Hunters and guides will still use skiffs to go from the boat to shore, but then they follow the stream upward to find an appropriate location to observe bears as they come and go. The fall gives a better opportunity for archery hunters due to the close proximity of the bear. How Close? Close enough to see the bearβs breath! Fall hunts are our favorite due to the amount of animal activity!
Fall hunts tend to be colder and wetter than the Spring hunt, so the right gear, especially rain gear, is even more important.

Top Notch Snow Goose Hunting in Delaware - Half Day Hunt
Centrally located between the huge tidal marshes of southern New Jersey and endless cornfields of Marylandβs Eastern Shore, Delaware winters close to 500,000 snow geese annually. Delaware is home to two major snow geese roosts- the 16,000 acre Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge (Kent County) and the 9,900 acre Prime Hook Nationals Wildlife refuge. (Sussex County) Combined these refuges host over 400,000 snow geese each fall. Both refuges provide large fresh water impoundments and tidal marshes for snow geese.
We currently lease over 30 farms in Kent and Sussex county. We have farms covering a large area both close to and farther inland from the refuges. Since we have hunted these areas for over twenty years, we have leased only the best farms used by wintering snow geese.
Snow goose hunting requires a huge amount of decoys. We use mostly full bodies and some silo socks. More so than any other waterfowl, huge spreads of decoys are an important part to harvest snow geese. Being on the βXβ is most important but we have had a lot of good hunts (25-50 birds) just getting under the birds and hunting traffic. 200 decoys was deadly ten years ago but today 1500 β 2000 decoys are needed for those same results.
Your guide will meet you at the hotel or at an assigned place at an assigned time. From the hotel you will follow your guide to the farm. Have your snacks, coffee, and refreshments ready for your morning hunt as we will not be stopping at a convenience store. Everyone will help in setting up the decoy spread. The guide calls all the shots. At the end of the hunt, everyone helps picking up the decoys.

1x1 Arizona Pronghorn Antelope Hunt, 5-Day
We are pleased to offer hunting for trophy Arizona pronghorn antelope. It is no secret that Arizona pronghorn antelope are managed for older-age-class bucks with good genetics. What it lacks in quantity, it makes up in quality. In Arizona hunters are limited into the field by a drawing process which eliminates over harvest. This, in effect, produces a trophy-class herd. That is why it is not uncommon to see a sixteen-inch or larger horn on an Arizona pronghorn within the quality units.
A glance in the record books will show that this state has produced some of the best antelope bucks in the world! We hunt the open country and prairies of Central to Southern Arizona, so long distance shooting is a must. It is not uncommon to take rifle shots over 300 yards on antelope. We recommend a flat shooting rifle cartridge, a good high-power riflescope and a Harris mounted bipod. The spot and stalk hunting methods are mainly used for our rifle and muzzleloader hunts. Muzzleloaders should be Inline style with bipods and scopes.

10-Day Arizona Bighorn Sheep Hunt
We are proud to offer hunting trips for the most prized big game species in North America, the desert bighorn sheep (Ovis canadensis mexicana and nelsoni). Arizona has produced numerous large rams and stands up to being the top state as a quality producer. Like all states, Arizona bighorn sheep tags are by a lottery drawing. If you are lucky enough to draw this "coveted tag," you stand a great chance of getting a record-book head. Desert big horn sheep tags are limited to such an extent that Arizona only allows each hunter one desert bighorn sheep in a lifetime. Tags may be difficult to draw, so our possible hunters are encouraged to apply each year and build points until drawn. You never know when you will draw. Some hunters draw with one bonus point, which means it is truly luck-of-the-draw!
If you have the itch for a beautiful desert ram and feel lucky enough to draw one of the "coveted tags," we have the hunt for you! Our master sheep guide, Pat Feldt and his assistants, have spent many years in the field with desert bighorn sheep and know them well. Pat is a member of the Desert Bighorn Sheep Society, has a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Biology and is very knowledgeable and experienced in locating, hunting, and judging bighorn sheep. Much of his and his assistants' spare time is spent looking for and observing sheep, whether it is just for fun or trying to video another record-book ram. Pat's many years of sheep experience has allowed hunters to harvest exceptional quality bighorn rams. Several rams harvested over the years have made the Boone and Crockett minimum.
In Arizona, you have the ability to hunt two different sub-species of desert bighorn sheep: either the heavy-horned and tight-curled Mexicana subspecies or the wide, flare-horned Nelsoni subspecies. This depends upon which area or unit you draw. The sheep in the northwest areas of Arizona from the Bill Williams River northward are classified as Nelson desert bighorn sheep. The southern area below the Bill Williams River toward the Mexican border is home to the Mexicana. We have hunted in various bighorn sheep units throughout the State of Arizona. Sheep locations within these units vary from year to year because desert bighorn rams have a very large home range. This is due mainly to the constantly changing food and water resources of the desert ecosystem. Rams also move around a lot during the late summer rut before settling down in late October or early November. Your area is scouted extensively prior to the December hunt to locate not only the best concentration of sheep, but the best rams in that area. We can often find the same rams during the hunt that were located during scouting. So, if we find a big ram during scouting in October or November, with patience, we will more than likely find him during your December hunt.

Join Everglades Adventures for an unparalleled alligator hunts and adventure in the wild landscapes of South Florida. Enjoy a fair chase, free-range hunt on expansive private lands where the excitement and challenge of genuine wildlife hunting awaits.
Everglades Adventures alligator hunts are conducted exclusively on large private lands in South Florida, ensuring a fair chase experience. We do not hunt behind fences or within enclosures, and we never use alligators caught in the wild and placed for hunters. Our hunts are all free-range, meaning we only target wild alligators on open lands. Additionally, we do not use drugs or refrigerants to make the alligators lethargic.
Our hunts employ advanced methods and equipment to ensure effectiveness and safety. Hunters can use compound bows, recurve bows, and crossbows for the initial shot, equipped with a fishing reel attachment and a retrieval line of at least 200-pound test, followed by a bang stick for the final harvest

Trophy Dall Hunt Sheep in Perfect Habitat
Our Alaska Dall sheep hunt takes place primarily in the historically game rich country of the Central Range east of the Alaska Denali National Park. These Alaska hunting trips are ten days in duration and begin in early August and end on the 20th of September. Alaska has long been renowned as some of the most pristine and productive Dall Sheep habitat anywhere. The Sheep population has been steady and most of the hunters get their sheep with a little luck and a whole lot of hard work! The average Alaska Dall Sheep Ram is 35-36 inches long with 13β+ bases. We do typically take several Rams a year in the 38β²-40β+ range. The Alaska Range Rams are known for their wide flaring and light colored horns and make a fine addition to any hunters trophy room.
A typical Sheep hunts entail riding up and down various drainages looking for a respectable Ram to go after. We like to tell hunters that they can expect to have a 5-7 hour, fairly arduous, climb from the time they leave the horses until they pull the trigger. The guide will cape and prepare the trophy and meat for the pack back to the horses. The guide will carry all the meat (100-120 lbs.) and we expect the client to carry the trophy (35lbs. for a shoulder mt. and 65-75 lbs. for a full body mt.) back to the horses. For this reason we require the client to bring a backpack of at least 3500 cu. in. capacity. Quite often we can hunt Alaska dall sheep right out of my two main camps but on occasion we will spike out for 2-5 days looking for a respectable ram to harvest.
When we do weβll be staying in a good quality four season mountain tent and eating freeze dried food until we can add some fresh Alaska Dall Sheep to the menu. These hunts require the hunter to be both physically fit and have the mental toughness to stay positive when mother nature and the elements may seem to be conspiring against us. The horses allow us to cover an infinite amount of country as compared to backpack hunting for the Dall Sheep. If you have the right attitude and go get it spirit I am confident we can put you on the Alaska Ram of your dreams! PRICE doesn't include a $10,000 trophy fee.

Premium Arizona Bighorn Sheep Hunt (2 Guides)
We are proud to offer hunting trips for the most prized big game species in North America, the desert bighorn sheep (Ovis canadensis mexicana and nelsoni). Arizona has produced numerous large rams and stands up to being the top state as a quality producer. Like all states, Arizona bighorn sheep tags are by a lottery drawing. If you are lucky enough to draw this "coveted tag", you stand a great chance of getting a record-book head.
Much of his and his assistants spare time is spent looking for and observing sheep, whether it is just for fun or trying to video another record-book ram.
The premium hunt includes two experienced bighorn sheep guides; one hunting with you and another at different vantage points to act as a scout or spotter. Having eyes in two places at one time increases the chance of obtaining an exceptional trophy or record-class ram.

Duck Hunt on 7,000 Acres of Leased Properties
With access to over 7,000 acres of leases over a 35-mile area, Ducks-n-Dogs offers a wide array of Arkansas waterfowl hunting opportunities. From flooded fields of rice, beans, milo, and corn, to flooded timber, river sloughs, and cypress swamps we offer a variety of fully guided duck & goose hunting opportunities. Our guides scout the surrounding area daily to locate positions holding the largest concentrations of birds to assure you and your hunting group a great waterfowl hunting experience.
Generally, hunting is done out of skid blinds and pit blinds (although duck boats are sometimes used as conditions may dictate). Transportation to and from the blinds is provided by our Polaris crew cabs or 4-Wheelers. Most of our fields employ decoy spreads of anywhere between 100 - 500 decoys. Each group has its own professional guide and retrieving dog. All of our duck hunting guides are locals to the Stuttgart region, with life-long waterfowl hunting knowledge of the area. They are expert duck hunters and duck callers, and work hard to provide you with a successful and memorable Arkansas duck hunt.
Stuttgart, Arkansas offers some of the best flooded timber duck hunts in the nation. For many seasoned duck hunters, this is a dream hunt. At Ducks n Dogs, we hunt a variety of flooded timber holes around the lodge. The timing for a flooded timber hunt can be a little tricky, depending on water conditions, so contact us for more details about planning a hunt. Duck hunting in flooded timber is so exciting because there is nothing like watching a flock of distant ducks respond to an expert caller but flooded timber hunts offer a different type of excitement. As a pair wood ducks or mallards appear and start circling close, you suddenly see them multiply - it can feel like being surrounded by a swarm of bees. The buzzing builds until youβve got flocks working in and out of the timber at many levels. Thereβs less need for calling with hunting flooded timber but the excitement is equal to any waterfowl hunt.
Waterfowl Hunting around Stuttgart: Be it a rice field, flooded timber (when conditions permit), cypress pond, or a secret honey-hole our guides will employ a lifetime of guiding and hunting knowledge to create the Best Duck Hunting experience in Arkansas. With a variety of waterfowl hunting opportunities, you will be shooting ducks and geese, supported by our highly trained duck hunting dogs.

Spot and Stalk Trophy Black Bear Hunts, No Bait, No Dogs (1x1)
We are pleased to offer a unique fall season bear hunting experience in southern Arizona, primarily within the Coronado National Forest. When searching for black bear hunts, many people would not ever think to look to Arizona. But, from recent experiences and publicity, more and more hunters are coming to realize that this State can provide some of the best trophy black bear hunting in the West. A glance at recent entries in the record books will show that Arizona has produced many "book" black bears. It is considered a top choice for record-class bear hunting.
Though the quantity of black bears in Arizona is not high by anyone's standards, the quality of the bears (whether it be color, body size, or record book potential) is why many hunters choose Arizona for their bear hunt. The Arizona black bear comes in all color varieties (commonly referred to as "color phases"). Colors range from blonde, cinnamon, chocolate, to coal black. Seventy-five percent of the bears we have harvested over the past couple decades have been colored with chocolate brown being dominant. Arizona black bears live in the thick timber at higher elevations most of the year, but during the months of August through October (our typical hunting season) some bears come out of the high country in search of fat-building food sources.
Bears have a very large home range and have been known to travel as far as 100 miles to find isolated pockets of food. This always keeps us "on our toes" trying to locate them before hunting season. Some Arizona black bears travel to the lower desert elevations of their mountain ranges looking for prickly pear cactus fruit, which is very sweet and high in calories. This phenomenon is often called "Bears in the Pears." Southern Arizona bears are typically in the pears during our August Archery-Only season. Bears may also travel to areas with a high concentration of acorns, juniper berries, mesquite beans, or manzanita berries during times when they are not eating pears, which is typically during the October General season (General = firearms or other legal weapons for bear). What the bears are feeding on dictates where and how we hunt. Our bear hunts are "fair chase" in the purist form!
Although every one of our big game hunts can be considered challenging, this is considered the most challenging hunt that we offer. Dogs or bait are not used on this hunt. We use two main techniques to harvest our bears, the spot-and-stalk method and the calling method. As a primary hunting technique, we hike to a good vantage point where a few square miles of terrain can be seen at one time. When a bear is amongst the sparse vegetation, it can be observed at very long distances using high-powered binoculars. We occasionally spot bears up to 2 miles away since it is such a vast area. Once a good bear is spotted, we plan our stalk. Rifle shots can sometimes be across big canyons, so a Harris bipod, good high-power riflescope, and a big, flat-shooting caliber is recommended. Lightweight rifles are also needed in this very rough terrain.

Spring Alaska Brown Bear + Black Bear Hunt - Yacht Based
Brown Bear hunting in Alaska is often considered the pinnacle of the North American hunting experience. While embarking on a brown bear hunt with Glacier Guides, you will be hunting the renowned βABCβ Islands for one of the most unique populations of Brown Bear in the world. Our hunts take place in both the spring and fall, with each respective season providing a unique experience in the style and method of hunting. The Alaskan Grandeur, our custom built and designed adventure yacht will serve as base camp, while access to the hunting grounds is done via 18 foot powered skiffs.
Admiralty, Baranof, and Chichagof are the three islands that comprise the βABCβ Islands of Southeast Alaska. Located at the northern end of the Alexander Archipelago, these three islands are home to one of the most distinctive and unique brown bear populations in North America, let alone the world. A must hunt for the most discriminating of sportsmen, the βABCβ Brown Bears show an ancestral lineage more closely related to polar bears as opposed to the typical Alaskan Brown Bear. These islands are also home to the Tongass National Forest, the largest national forest in the United States and one of the last remaining intact temperate rain forests in the entire world. Encompassing 17 million acres, the Tongass with its diverse ecology and geographic features provides one of the most breathtaking and stunning environments for a sportsmanβs adventure of a lifetime.
A spring Brown Bear hunt with Glacier Guides typically consists of ten hunting days and is often done in combination with a black bear hunt. Our Southeast Alaska spring hunting season starts in mid April and finishes at the end of May. This is one of the premier times to experience Alaska as the flora and fauna that inhabit the woods and water are awakening from their winter slumber, with the renewed optimism and growth that the spring season brings. During this season, the bears are emerging from their winter dens and venturing to the beaches and grass flats in search of the various food sources that will sustain them throughout the spring. A typical spring diet for a brown bear consists of new plant growth, sedge grass, kelp, small crustaceans, and any carrion that they can scavenge from amongst the surf whipped beaches.

Three-Day / Two-Turkey Hunt in Washington - 3x1

RUT Rifle Couse Deer, 5-Day
Our outfit is pleased to offer quality hunting trips for the Coues Whitetailed Deer in southern Arizona near Tucson. The Coues Deer is considered one of the most prized and most challenging deer species for North American trophy hunters. This petite deer is the smallest huntable sub-species of the whitetailed deer and weighs between 70 - 100 lbs. dressed out. Mature bucks normally have 8 total points on the rack. The minimum Coues deer score for Pope and Young is 70 inches and the minimum score for Boone and Crockett is 110 inches. The Coues Whitetail is classified under a separate category in all record books because of its small, tight rack. Even the World's Record typical Coues deer (144-1/8" B&C taken by Ed Stockwell in 1953) would not make it into the Boone and Crockett book if scored and categorized under the Eastern whitetail standards.
That is the reason for the separate category for this unique deer species. Hunters that have taken all the species in the "deer slam" usually consider the Coues deer one of the most rewarding and most beautiful trophies. Our Coues hunts are conducted in the vast, rugged desert mountains of southeastern Arizona, with Tucson being the closest major city. The hunting technique for Coues deer involves choosing a good vantage point and spending hours glassing through high-powered binoculars and spotting scopes. The Coues bucks may be spotted over a mile away. Once a trophy Coues buck is located, the spot and stalk method is used to get within shooting range.
The canyons where Coues deer live are usually big and open. Rifle hunters should be prepared for shooting distances from 200 yards to 500 yards, if the need arises. Bow hunters typically take shots at ranges from 30 to 60 yards, since it is really open terrain. Because of the topography, high-powered riflescopes on top of lightweight flat-shooting rifles with a bipod are a "must have." Recommended rifle calibers are the .25-06 up to .300 Magnums. We do not recommend smaller calibers. Rifle season hunts are conducted during three timeframes, which are: late October, early November, and late December. Our Archery Coues hunts are conducted during the month of January when they are in full rut.
SUCCESS RATES: We are proud to say that many of our rifle Coues seasons have ended with a 100% success rate! Nearly all of our past Coues hunters have been presented with opportunity.

Western Illinois Free Range Whitetail Hunt - Rifle
The acres your hunt will take place on are very strictly managed. South Fork hunters are required to harvest at minimum 140 inch, 3 Β½ year old bucks. Having these practices in place for years has only made a good thing that much better. In addition to the doeβs that our hunters harvest, we take heard surveys that enable us to go through late season and remove doeβs in highly populated areas. As a whole β the areas you will be hunting have an excellent doe-to-buck ratio (2 or 3-to-1). Hunter to acre ratio is also very important. Low pressure is a huge part of harvesting mid-west whitetail deer. Here at South Fork, we keep ample ground for the numbers of hunters we run, with some farms not being hunted for entire seasons. This is all to ensure South Fork ground will remain the best of the best.
We take stand location very seriously. This is crucial when getting close to giant Illinois bruisers. The wind and thermals are taken into consideration on every set. The stand set ups are for stealth entry and exits. Stand location is one of the biggest keys to a successful hunt- second only to having a piece of great managed whitetail ground. All stands are set by South Fork Guides that have years of experience and the bucks to prove it! The rule of thumb we live by is βif we wouldnβt hunt it, we wonβt hang it!β We are as excited to get you into the stand that we hung, as you are to be in it. Itβs like we are hunting with you. Our sets consist of hangβonβs with climbing sticks (20β²-25β²); ladder stands (16β²-20β²); shooting houses (7β²-10β²); and assorted ground blinds. We utilize over 70+ Shadowhunter Blinds to provide our gun hunters with a comfortable and solid shooting setup. We put you up close and personal, itβs just a matter of time before a big shooter reveals himself.
All hunts are completely free range with no high fences in the βGolden Triangleβ of Illinois- Pike, Adams, and Hancock counties.
All South Fork properties provide the benefits of a long-standing Quality Deer Management Plan and uphold a Pope & Young deer scoring minimum of 140 inches or better.
Trail cameras cover almost every property for the majority of the growing season giving you the chance to see a potential trophy before stepping foot in the woods.
Field dressing services and deer transportation are provided by our guides if desired.
Our guides will assist in meat & trophy care and preparation for shipping

Trophy Coues Deer Hunt in Arizona, Rifle Hunt, 1x1, Guiding But No Lodging
The Coues deer is the smallest species of the whitetail family and also known as the "Gray Ghost" of the desert. Since the Coues deer is so small, they will vanish before your eyes, even in the Arizona open terrain.
Due to their natural predators within their habitat, Coues deer are always on edge. In order to hunt this elusive animal, a great pair of high power 15x binoculars with a tripod for glassing is a must. Make sure you are in good physically hiking condition to endure the rugged Arizona terrain.
Rifle seasons are in October, November, and December. Late December these rutting bucks will be busy rut mode chasing other bucks away from their doe and will make the hunt somewhat easier. The rifle season will be cool to cold temperatures and the bucks can be up and about all day. You will mostly see them up in the mornings sunbathing and during the days bedded up in the shadows. Shots can be as close as 300 yards out to 800+ yards. Knowing this, the hunter must start practicing long range practice before the season starts. It would be wise to shoot with a bi-pod or shooting stick in different positionsβyou never know where that huge buck will appear and you must be ready.

Spring Alaska Coastal Brown Bear Hunt - Yacht Based
Brown Bear hunting in Alaska is often considered the pinnacle of the North American hunting experience.

Our guided hunting trips often reveal quality black bears in the same areas as our deer hunts, offering a dual-target expedition. Using the same remote camps, we employ expert glassing techniques to spot bears in their natural habitat. Once identified, our guides help plan the perfect approach, considering weapon range, wind, and landscape. As with our deer hunts, bear tags are readily available over-the-counter.

5-Day Roosevelt Elk Hunt in Marble Mountains: Packing on Llamas
Do you need a Marble Mountains elk hunting guide? Are you one of the lucky few holding a Marble Mountains Roosevelt elk tag? Or maybe you have quite a few points and are expecting to draw in the future. Youβre in for a hunt of a lifetime, but are you prepared? Everything about the Marble Mountains bull elk hunts are big. Their bodies, antlers, the mountainsβ¦ We know where the bulls are and can get you and the elk out. The Marble Mountains zone is huge but we focus our effort on the Marble Mountains and Trinity Alps Wilderness areas and the surrounding National Forest lands.
This is a very special tag and we know how much it means. We spend countless hours scouting for bulls so that you can be in the perfect spot once the season finally arrives.
We use trained pack llamas to pack in a comfortable camp for the hunters and non-hunting guests. Bulls can weigh upwards of 1,000 pounds and llamas are also used to pack meat and trophies.

1x1 Non-Rut Coues Deer Rifle Hunt, 4-Day
Our outfit is pleased to offer quality hunting trips for the Coues Whitetailed Deer in southern Arizona near Tucson.
Hunters that have taken all the species in the "deer slam" usually consider the Coues deer one of most rewarding and most beautiful trophies.

Arizona Mountain Lion Hunting, All Inclusive, 1x1, OTC Tags
We conduct our mountain lions trips from November through April in the heart of Arizona and we can adapt to whatever diverse conditions we will encounter during your mountain lion trip. Our hunts can be conducted in several different methods including calling them with an electronic predator call, trailing them in the snow, but our preferred method is by pursuing behind our pack of lion hounds on foot on dry ground conditions. Whether we are going to be calling or dry ground hunting on foot, our most proven method of hunting these magnificent and elusive western predators is on foot with our pack of hounds.
Our houndsman guides that will be taking you out on our lion trip are some of the very best fourth generation lion hunters in the state and will do everything humanly & legally possible to tree your tom and give you an extremely unforgettable first class hunting experience of a life time. Our team of predator hunting houndsmen have over two decades of pounding the high & low country, calling, trailing, and treeing lions under the very brutal country in Arizona has to offer.
The typical day on our Arizona mountain lion hunts will begin before sunrise, depending on the particular area of rim country or the other units that we have located a fresh track or recent kill from a tom mountain lion. Some of the rim country where we conduct our mountain lion hunts has excellent road systems that we will utilize to cover vast amounts of country with trucks & UTVs in search of fresh tracks of mountain lions. If we are going to be lion hunting in a large expanse of rough and roadless country, we will then free cast the pack of hounds while following them on foot as the pack searches for the fresh track of a legal mountain lion. Once a large tom mountain lion track is located either by us or by the hounds, the memories begin.
Once the pack of hounds has jumped the cat, you never know exactly where that particular lion will decide to tree or bay up on rocks, once our hounds have finally caught up to the lion. The pursuit will make the lion either choose to climb up into the branches of a tall ponderosa pine tree, cedar, juniper, or climb up on top of a giant rock mound, hide in the deep rim rock cave, or even fight the dogs on the ground. Expect to take shots anywhere from 40 yards to point blank on a bayed lion, so clients need to be ready to possibly do some quick shooting in a very adrenaline filled moment. Experience an extreme big game hunt that is not offered in the entire state for a hunter to experience than our lion hunts in the heart of Arizona.
The OTC tags and licenses for our trophy Arizona mountain lion trips are purchased online and do not need to be drawn.

Montana Gun Hunt Using 4x4 Trucks, 5.5 Days, 70K Private Acres
This is a unique hunt on private land where hunts are conducted out of 4x4 trucks, making it feasible for elderly folks or difficulty walking.
We have been operating out of our Candy Dan Camp for over 25 years. Constructed on the private ranch we hunt, located some 65 miles south of Great Falls, our base camp consists of a newly constructed cook house built in 2013, equipped with a full kitchen, buffet table, couches, hot and cold water, and a custom dining table for up to 12 hunters, three cabins for sleeping quarters for the hunters, a sauna house, and sleeping quarters for the guides. Camp is equipped with propane heat, electricity in all cabins, electricity, full shower/sauna, and WIFI!
DL Elk Outfitters conducts guided rifle elk hunts on over 70,000 Private acres in the Big Belt Mountains in central Montana. These private lands are home to some of Montanaβs largest resident elk herds. We are not dependent on migrations, or heavy snows to push the elk out of areas we cannot hunt, giving our hunters a high chance of success. The country is rich in large grass meadows for feed to ridges and draws of timber making excellent habitat. Elk hunters access the hunting areas by 4-wheel drive vehicles and hiking to vantage spots and glassing for bull elk. (No horses or pack strings here.)
Only bull elk with brow tines are legal in our area to harvest and that means 5, 6, and 7 point bulls are the norm here rather than exception. Elk hunters average glassing more than 100 elk per week on our hunts. Mule Deer and Whitetail Deer are available on all elk hunts and make for a great combo. Our hunting leases, comfortable cabins, elevations under 6500 feet and 4-wheel drive access make this an area any hunter regardless of age or physical condition can hunt. Our rifle elk hunts are all guided 2 hunters per guide unless prior arrangements are made. Elk and deer licenses are on a draw basis and have to be applied for to the state of Montana, by March 15. Draw rates in recent years have been 100%.

95%+ Success Rate Montana Merriam's Turkey Hunt - 2x1
There are lots of places to hunt Merriamβs but few can compare to the scenic beauty of river breaks country in Eastern Montana. We can say with confidence that you will have the best Merriamβs guides in Montana. Our crew cut their teeth on educated Easterns and know these birds inside and out. You wonβt find a more dedicated crew who will work tirelessly to make sure you have the best hunt possible.
We have a strong population of un-pressured, mature birds and itβs not uncommon to watch a big Tom work in from quite a ways off. We strictly manage our hunt area to maintain an abundant population of older age class birds so it doesn't matter if you're the first group in camp or the last you are going to have an amazing hunt with lots of mature birds to chase around each day.
In addition to world-class Turkey hunting, we also offer the opportunity to fish and hunt prairie dogs while you are staying with us. This is a fantastic way to kill time in the afternoon or stay entertained while your partner finishes up his/her hunt. We strive to have a fun camp atmosphere that will make you feel welcome from the moment you pull up till we say our goodbyes.

Boat-Based Alaska Black Bear Hunt, Fall
All of our hunts are fair chase and based from our vessel the Western Profit. For bear hunts, hunters will be accompanied by one of our guides in skiffs to locate animals, and then put ashore for the stalk. In the Sitka area, Kuiu island has the highest density black bear population anywhere in Alaska. There is also a healthy population of wolves on the island, and it is not unusual for hunters to have an opportunity at a wolf during black bear hunts.
In general bear hunting is more relaxed than many other hunts. Typically the hunt will not begin until afternoon when things have warmed up a bit and bears are more active. So sleeping in is actually a thing on bear hunts! Typically a leisurely breakfast aboard the boat is followed up by a few hours of relaxing glassing where all manner of animals from bears, whales, deer, moose, sea otters, harbor seals, eagles and any number of other species may be observed. Not to mention the amazing scenery that is southeast Alaska. Or if youβre lucky, go pull up a pot of crabs for lunch/dinner!
Next comes lunch, which tends to be the heaviest meal of the day. After that hunters and guides launch in the skiffs to begin the hunt. Hunting style, locales, and equipment differ between spring and fall, so we will break those out a bit more below. Fall brings streams full of spawning salmon to southeast Alaska. During this time bears are in the last desperate rush to pack on calories before the long winter hibernation. Egg laden salmon in the tight confines of a stream are a bonanza of high fat calorie protein, and the final significant feast before winter sets in and the bears den up until Spring. For this reason, bears are hyper focused on feeding, and it is not unusual to see large numbers in a small area simply feeding.
During the Fall the focus shifts to these stream bound bears as they gorge themselves on salmon.

Two-Day Axis Deer Hunt (1 Buck, 1 Doe) Free Range Axis, Non-Resident
The 90,000-acre island of Lanaβi is home to the highest density of free-range Axis deer in the world. Hunters can expect to see hundreds of deer daily, and will spot and stalk either in a large, flat plain known locally as βthe Serengeti,β or in the steep mountainous regions. Long-range shooters can set up at benches strategically positioned throughout the island.
One of the big challenges when hunting Axis deer on Lanaβi is not necessarily finding the deer that you want, itβs getting past the hundreds of other deer that are between you and that animal.
All hunting packages include an experienced guide, all necessary permits, and field dressing.
After a rewarding day in the field, unwind in luxurious accommodations, savor gourmet dining, or indulge in rejuvenating spa treatments. Exclusive rates are available at the Four Seasons Resort Lanaβi and Sensei Lanaβi, in conjunction with a Pineapple Brothers hunt.
The only thing better than hunting big game in an exotic locale is being able to snorkel, get a massage, or golf in between outings. Lanaβiβs outstanding resorts elevate your hunting trip to a full-blown island vacation.

Remote Bush Plane Alaska Brown Bear Hunt - 1x1
Guided Alaska brown bear hunting is awesome. The Alaskan Brown Bear is the most coveted trophy on the North American continent. Sportsmen from around the world come to Alaska to hunt the biggest and most powerful of all bears, the Alaskan Brown bear. When you see these bears walk across the Alaskan tundra you cannot help but be in awe. Just seeing them will make the hair on the back of your neck stand up. Hunting them provides great excitement and a trip you will never forget.
The brown bear season starts in August. I conduct hunts through the end of September in southwestern Alaska. I specialize in hunting the big brown bears. These bears are big, powerful and must be respected. My hunting area boasts a high brown bear population density. If you have ever wanted to take a brown bear, come hunting with me.
I hunt out of spike camps. This puts us close to where the action is. We will be camped where preseason scouting has indicated bear activity and where I believe we can hunt effectively. We will do all of our hunting on these hunts in hunting boots, not waders, and do a lot of glassing hillsides, mountains, and drainages.
Unless other arrangements are made, I will be your guide. In a perfect world, an employee would care about the business as much as the owner. Unfortunately, we don't live in a perfect world. I do all of my own guiding unless other arrangements are made. It is comforting for you to know that the guy who is cashing your check (me) is the same guy who will accompany you in the field (me). I put my reputation on the line every time I cash a check.
When researching a hunt, you should ask to speak with ALL of the clients who hunted the same time you are considering hunting the previous year. It is foolish to consider booking a hunt with an outfitter before you speak with hunters who have hunted the same time and place during the previous season. It is important to know ahead of time what you are getting for your money. I am proud of the attention I give each client before, during, and after the hunt. Most importantly, DON'T CONSIDER BOOKING A HUNT WITH ANYONE THAT IS NOT WILLING TO GIVE YOU PHONE NUMBERS AND/OR EMAIL ADDRESSES OF ALL OF THEIR CLIENTS FROM THE PREVIOUS YEAR.
The state regulations require salvaging the head and hide only on brown bears. I encourage hunters to take home the meat of brown bears in the "ethics" mind set. I am picking up the tab to ship the meat back to Anchorage because I like to see hunters make some use out of the meat. It is not required, but I encourage it.
Other species can be added to your hunt on a trophy fee basis. These options are available only if the season is open for the species according to the Alaska State Regulations.

DYI Bear Map
Washington is a bear hunter's paradise, the bear population has been estimated as high as 30,000, the highest in the lower 48 states, and you can buy two tags over the counter. About 50% of the bear are off-color bear, so you can hunt for two different color bear on the same hunt. Hundreds of successful bear hunts confirm Bearpaw Outfitters are one of the most experienced and successful bear hunting outfitters in the business. These are spot and stalk bear hunts using the advantage of natural food sources and Bearpaw Outfitter's extensive knowledge of bear habits.
Spring Bear Hunts are also offered in Idaho. Bear hunts can be combined with turkey, deer, elk, varmints, or other hunts, ask Dale about the options available. With high bear numbers, numerous color phases, over the counter tags, reasonable pricing, the option to hunt a second bear, and these hunts are not physically demanding, this is about as good as it gets for spot & stalk bear hunting.

2x1 Javelina Hunt, 3-Day, Spot & Stalk, No Bait
Southern Arizona is home to the Javelina. Hunting seasons for this critter are during January through February. Javelina can be one of the most enjoyable game animals to hunt in Arizona. They are not pigs, nor are they even in the pig family. They are peccaries. Javelina are gregarious animals that live in a tight-knit family group of around 5 to 15 animals. The javelina groups are territorial with a home range of about a square mile and a half.
The common name is the "collared peccary" because of a white ring of hair that circles the neck region. Javelina appear to be larger than they really are, but in actuality, they only weigh 35-60 pounds dressed-out. Javelina offer a very challenging hunt for the bowhunter, handgun hunter, crossbow hunter, muzzleloader hunter or even rifle hunter. Spot and stalk is the technique we use to hunt these unique animals. Our guides use high-powered optics to locate a herd. Javelina are low to the ground and blend into their surroundings very well, so they can often be a challenge to locate amongst the gray desert scrub.
Once a group of peccary is located, a stalk can be planned. Hunters must keep the wind in their favor when making a stalk and be extremely quiet in order to get within a desired shooting distance. Because of their large canines, javelina make nice open-mouth mounts. If you are successful, a full-body mount of a snarling peccary (javelina) can be a very unique trophy. The meat from javelina is often made into sausage. Our favorite is jalapeno and cheese summer sausage or chorizo! Archery javelina hunts in January can be combined with archery Coues deer.

Great Hog Hunt on Private, 3 Nights All Inclusive
If youβre a hunter in the south, you know that wild hogs have entirely taken over the land across the southeast. As a free-range property, we are no exception. Do you want to enjoy a fun vacation while managing an ever-growing wild hog population? We have you covered! With our exciting FREE Alabama Hog Hunts, you can satisfy your outdoor cravings while waiting for the Alabama deer season. From February through September, enjoy our comfortable accommodations and our notoriously great food, and hunt for your Alabama trophy boar or meat hogs at night and in the early morning and fish.
We hunt over bait, and we have equipped our hog-infested areas with feeders that have motion-detector lights to allow you to get that perfect shot on a trophy hog. Our 6,000-acre plantation is a natural habitat for these animals, and they can quickly get out of control without proper management. This is why we offer hunters a chance to come to hunt our Alabama wild hogs for FREE, only having to pay for lodging and meals.
Our FREE hog hunts include on-site lodging, meals, and no limit on the number of hogs you harvest. There are also no trophy fees or cleaning fees! This is an Alabama Hog Hunting experience like no other, as our guides have worked hard to find the perfect spots to set hunters up in areas with heavy signs of wild hog activity. Thermal Hog Hunt in Georgia, 5-Hour, With Lodging
By now you have probably seen thermal hog hunting videos of a group of gunners all in a line in a large agricultural field sighting in on a large group of hogs in front of them. If this is a hunt youβve always wanted to do but have never tried, youβve found the right place. The Gopher Plantation hog hunting guides have fine-tuned their thermal hunts to guarantee an opportunity at free-range hogs every hunt.
We conduct all of our thermal hog hunts on over 10,000 privately owned acres. We not only hunt the agricultural fields we also hunt in the woods over our feed sources and food plots. The Gopher Plantation staff plants over 200 acres of food plots for wildlife. Not only do our deer and turkey benefit from this but also our wild hog population. Itβs not uncommon to find 4-6 groups of hogs on a 3-hour thermal hunt with us all while literally hunting out of our back door. You can add hours to your thermal hog hunt and increase the shooting opportunities.
If you donβt have any thermal equipment for hog hunting at night, no problem we have you covered. We have 10 guns set up with Pulsar thermal scopes and suppressors at your disposal. The guides also have 3 sets of Pulsar thermal binoculars to spot hogs throughout your hunt. We also provide shooting sticks, snacks, and a cooler with drinks so literally all you have to do is show up. If you have your own thermal night hunting equipment or have picked up some new toys and need a place to use them, feel free to bring them on your hunt as well.

Three-Day / One-Turkey Hunt in Washington - 2x1

Mountain Lion Hunt, 2x1
Montana has some great areas for hunting big Toms and is one of few states to allow hunting mountain lion (a.k.a. cougar, puma). We utilize experienced hounds men and dogs to βtreeβ cats. Since these hunts begin in December, youβll be treated to very comfortable accommodations with meals provided. See Lodge details here. This is a unique experience and we have great trophy cats.
Hunting mountain lions is totally different than hunting for elk, deer or bear. Your day begins as early as 1:00 am, youβll have a light breakfast and join our houndsman who will instruct you on how to βcutβ a track. Tracking a mountain lion involves driving or snowmobiling through a myriad of US Forest Service and private timber company roads, using spotlights mounted to the cat truck, and trying to eyeball a track from many yards away. Once a track is found, dogs are put on it to see if it carries a scent. If so, theyβre off and the race is on!
It can take several hours for the dogs to find and tree the cat. Once the cat is treed, the hunterβs work begins β they must find the dogs and the treed cat in time before it escapes. If we havenβt treed a cat by 4:00 pm, we typically quit for the day as we donβt want to hunt in the dark. At this point, hunters have the remainder of the afternoon to relax, tour around the area or rest up. The duration of your Montana mountain lion hunt is typically 5 days. However, we can extend a hunt up to 10 days using daily rates if we havenβt got a hunter his or her cat.
While there are never guarantees in hunting, the success rate for our Montana mountain lion hunts has been nearly 100% in the past. The skill of our dogs, the quality of the area we have rights to hunt in, and the quality and skill of the houndsmen we employ all play a role in our success rates at Swan Mountain Outfitters. Since mountain lion hunts in Montana take place during the winter months, hunters have access to a variety of exciting winter activities that can be added on to the front or back end of their hunt. These activities include but are not limited to: downhill skiing, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, ice fishing and ice skating.
