Hunts can take place in a 9×5 insulated shooting house, ladder stand, spot and stalk or rattling. We make it our number one priority to make sure you get a chance at your dream buck. All Whitetail packages are priced per person. This hunt has no minimum number of people needed. Hunts are not guarantees but we will do everything in our power to help you shoot your target buck. Each Price includes: 3 Days, 2 Nights Stay, 1 Round of Sporting Clays 5-Stand/ Day, Unlimited Rife Range Usage, A Guide, Dressing & Caping, Sealed Cuts (if requested), Coordination of taxidermy services, All meals during your stay: Country-style breakfast, lunch, and gourmet dinners, Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres each night. Wounded and non recovered deer count as a fallen deer so we encourage use of our rifle range as well and are happy to give assistance and tips in shooting your dream whitetail. We are pleased to offer a unique fall season bear hunting experience in southern Arizona, primarily within the Coronado National Forest. When searching for black bear hunts, many people would not ever think to look to Arizona. But, from recent experiences and publicity, more and more hunters are coming to realize that this State can provide some of the best trophy black bear hunting in the West. A glance at recent entries in the record books will show that Arizona has produced many "book" black bears. It is considered a top choice for record-class bear hunting. Though the quantity of black bears in Arizona is not high by anyone's standards, the quality of the bears (whether it be color, body size, or record book potential) is why many hunters choose Arizona for their bear hunt. The Arizona black bear comes in all color varieties (commonly referred to as "color phases"). Colors range from blonde, cinnamon, chocolate, to coal black. Seventy-five percent of the bears we have harvested over the past couple decades have been colored with chocolate brown being dominant. Arizona black bears live in the thick timber at higher elevations most of the year, but during the months of August through October (our typical hunting season) some bears come out of the high country in search of fat-building food sources. Bears have a very large home range and have been known to travel as far as 100 miles to find isolated pockets of food. This always keeps us "on our toes" trying to locate them before hunting season. Some Arizona black bears travel to the lower desert elevations of their mountain ranges looking for prickly pear cactus fruit, which is very sweet and high in calories. This phenomenon is often called "Bears in the Pears." Southern Arizona bears are typically in the pears during our August Archery-Only season. Bears may also travel to areas with a high concentration of acorns, juniper berries, mesquite beans, or manzanita berries during times when they are not eating pears, which is typically during the October General season (General = firearms or other legal weapons for bear). What the bears are feeding on dictates where and how we hunt. Our bear hunts are "fair chase" in the purist form! Although every one of our big game hunts can be considered challenging, this is considered the most challenging hunt that we offer. Dogs or bait are not used on this hunt. We use two main techniques to harvest our bears, the spot-and-stalk method and the calling method. As a primary hunting technique, we hike to a good vantage point where a few square miles of terrain can be seen at one time. When a bear is amongst the sparse vegetation, it can be observed at very long distances using high-powered binoculars. We occasionally spot bears up to 2 miles away since it is such a vast area. Once a good bear is spotted, we plan our stalk. Rifle shots can sometimes be across big canyons, so a Harris bipod, good high-power riflescope, and a big, flat-shooting caliber is recommended. Lightweight rifles are also needed in this very rough terrain.

Arizona Guided Hunts also offers hunting options for the desert mule deer, primarily in southern Arizona. Mule deer hunting in Southern Arizona can provide a great opportunity for the first-time mule deer hunter or the hunter wanting a true desert mule deer to complete their slam. If you need your desert mule deer for the slam, this is a very unique and exciting hunting experience amongst desert terrain. Although there is potential to harvest bucks with larger racks, the mature Arizona desert mule deer bucks that we typically harvest in our hunt areas have racks from 18 to 25 inches wide and have 3 to 5 points per side. Considering this is the desert, deer densities cannot be high in such a dry environment. But, our guides have mastered the techniques and have done their scouting homework so that our hunters can see a significant number of deer, again, considering it is the desert. Our hunting style is the spot and stalk method. We hike to a good vantage point where a couple square miles can be seen at one time. Most of our mule deer hunting is done with our eyes through tripod-mounted optics. Once a good mule deer buck is spotted, we make our move from the vantage point for the final stalk. The terrain is very open, therefore rifle shots are usually over 300 yards and archery shots might exceed 50 yards. There may be a great deal of hiking involved, so hunters are encouraged to condition themselves to the best of their ability before arriving. Opportunities have been 100% for rifle desert mule deer hunts with an extremely high success! Opportunities to release arrows on archery mule deer hunts is extremely high!

If this is a hunt you’ve always wanted to do but have never tried, you’ve found the right place. The Gopher Plantation hog hunting guides have fine-tuned their thermal hunts to guarantee an opportunity at free-range hogs every hunt. We conduct all of our thermal hog hunts on over 10,000 privately owned acres. We not only hunt the agricultural fields we also hunt in the woods over our feed sources and food plots. The Gopher Plantation staff plants over 200 acres of food plots for wildlife. Not only do our deer and turkey benefit from this but also our wild hog population. It’s not uncommon to find 4-6 groups of hogs on a 3-hour thermal hunt with us all while literally hunting out of our back door. You can add hours to your thermal hog hunt and increase the shooting opportunities. If you don’t have any thermal equipment for hog hunting at night, no problem we have you covered. Mountain Lion Hunt, 2x1

Montana has some great areas for hunting big Toms and is one of few states to allow hunting mountain lion (a.k.a. cougar, puma). We utilize experienced hounds men and dogs to “tree” cats. Since these hunts begin in December, you’ll be treated to very comfortable accommodations with meals provided. See Lodge details here. This is a unique experience and we have great trophy cats. Hunting mountain lions is totally different than hunting for elk, deer or bear. Your day begins as early as 1:00 am, you’ll have a light breakfast and join our houndsman who will instruct you on how to “cut” a track. Tracking a mountain lion involves driving or snowmobiling through a myriad of US Forest Service and private timber company roads, using spotlights mounted to the cat truck, and trying to eyeball a track from many yards away. Once a track is found, dogs are put on it to see if it carries a scent. If so, they’re off and the race is on! It can take several hours for the dogs to find and tree the cat. Once the cat is treed, the hunter’s work begins – they must find the dogs and the treed cat in time before it escapes. If we haven’t treed a cat by 4:00 pm, we typically quit for the day as we don’t want to hunt in the dark. At this point, hunters have the remainder of the afternoon to relax, tour around the area or rest up. The duration of your Montana mountain lion hunt is typically 5 days. However, we can extend a hunt up to 10 days using daily rates if we haven’t got a hunter his or her cat. While there are never guarantees in hunting, the success rate for our Montana mountain lion hunts has been nearly 100% in the past. The skill of our dogs, the quality of the area we have rights to hunt in, and the quality and skill of the houndsmen we employ all play a role in our success rates at Swan Mountain Outfitters. Since mountain lion hunts in Montana take place during the winter months, hunters have access to a variety of exciting winter activities that can be added on to the front or back end of their hunt. Due to its large number of grain farms, southern New Jersey and Delaware host some of the largest concentrations of Canada geese in the state. We are surrounded by large bodies of water that hold good concentrations of geese throughout the season. This water is both tidal and non tidal so freeze up is not a problem. We manage over 9 farms encompassing about 2200 acres in south Jersey and Marylands’ Eastern show which helps ensure no one farm is overgunned. These are all leased farms. All of our hunts are in bean, corn or wheat fields – a favorite of Canada geese.These three crops provide Canada geese the food they love and need throughout the gunning season. Kevin Popo Guide Service also provides large spreads of today’s top-quality decoys. We use both Big Foot and Real Geese decoys to provide you with the best opportunity of harvesting Canada geese. Depending on the weather and field conditions, these realistic decoys can mean the difference betwwen a good or slow day especially on late season geese. All of our decoys are well maintained and new decoys are bought on an annual basis. 7-Day Dual Weapon Rut Elk Hunt

These are among the most rugged Montana elk hunts, and we often describe them as “extreme” hunts. Our hunts are guided in the Bob Marshall Wilderness and Swan Valley areas of Montana off of horseback. Our guides and horses have been preparing and getting shape all summer long on backcountry pack trips; elk season is what they’ve been waiting for! Archery hunting elk, requiring close proximity to the animal, is, by its very nature, quite different from hunting these animals using a rifle. The acres your hunt will take place on are very strictly managed. South Fork hunters are required to harvest at minimum 140 inch, 3 ½ year old bucks. Having these practices in place for years has only made a good thing that much better. In addition to the doe’s that our hunters harvest, we take heard surveys that enable us to go through late season and remove doe’s in highly populated areas. As a whole – the areas you will be hunting have an excellent doe-to-buck ratio (2 or 3-to-1). Hunter to acre ratio is also very important. Low pressure is a huge part of harvesting mid-west whitetail deer. Here at South Fork, we keep ample ground for the numbers of hunters we run, with some farms not being hunted for entire seasons. This is all to ensure South Fork ground will remain the best of the best. We take stand location very seriously. This is crucial when getting close to giant Illinois bruisers. The wind and thermals are taken into consideration on every set. The stand set ups are for stealth entry and exits. Stand location is one of the biggest keys to a successful hunt- second only to having a piece of great managed whitetail ground. The Coues deer is the smallest species of the whitetail family and also known as the "Gray Ghost" of the desert. Since the Coues deer is so small, they will vanish before your eyes, even in the Arizona open terrain. Due to their natural predators within their habitat, Coues deer are always on edge. In order to hunt this elusive animal, a great pair of high power 15x binoculars with a tripod for glassing is a must. Make sure you are in good physically hiking condition to endure the rugged Arizona terrain. Rifle seasons are in October, November, and December. Late December these rutting bucks will be busy rut mode chasing other bucks away from their doe and will make the hunt somewhat easier. We are pleased to offer hunting trips in southern Arizona for the rare Gould's turkey. The Gould's turkey is primarily a mountain dwelling bird that inhabits the extreme southern portions of Arizona in higher altitude areas known as "Sky Islands" (forested mountaintops that rise above the vast sea of desert). The Gould's sub-species is geographically separated from the northern Arizona Merriam's by hundreds of square miles of surrounding desert. Therefore, the chance for hybridization is slim to none. The Gould's is the largest of the turkey subspecies with longer legs, larger feet, and larger tail feathers and wings than all the other subspecies. They also have a higher level of iridescence to their feathers. But, the most notable difference from the other turkey subspecies is that the Gould's turkey typically has whiter tips on the rump and tail feathers (Merriam's have a cream-white). The Gould's turkeys that we hunt live in a natural habitat with no food plots, no farm fields, no feeders and typically no other human influence. Since Gould's are mountain dwelling turkeys, our hunting takes place in the Oak Woodlands to Ponderosa Pine forests at elevations of 6000 to 8000 feet. This high altitude hunt area has breathtaking scenery with very enjoyable Springtime temperatures of around 80 degrees in the day and 45 degrees at night. In order to eliminate over-harvest, Arizona Gould's Turkey tags are on a special random lottery draw through the Arizona Game and Fish Department. Spring or Fall Rio Grande Turkey Hunt - 3 Day Hunt on Public

To put it mildly – we love our turkey hunting. Turkeys in California are expanding their range every year, opening up new opportunities. In the areas we hunt it’s typically considered the Rio Grande subspecies of wild turkey. We offer spring California wild turkey hunts where you can experience your heart pound as a longbeard struts into view. We can also put you on an autumn turkey which requires a different approach but can easily be combined with several other hunting opportunities. We offer hunts on exclusive private ranches in the beautiful oak woodlands of California and also on public forestland where you can match wits with a truly wild mountain turkey. The choice is yours. Spring California Wild Turkey Hunts: Usually in February the male turkeys begin to gobble and that’s when we start hitting the hills listening and looking for strutting zones and roost trees. A day in the spring turkey woods is like magic. It starts early in the morning where we will set up near a roost tree long before first light. When the songbirds begin to sing their spring rituals is right about when the ring of gobbles echo from atop the roost trees. We will begin some light calling sequences to let the birds know there is a hen nearby. After the turkeys fly down it won’t be long before we will know if the plan worked out. Getting turkeys soon after they land on the ground from the roost is an excellent tactic. Some folks end the hunt after the morning thunder turns silent. We don’t stop there. If everyone in the group hasn’t got their bird we will hunt all day. In our experience hunting gets better as the late morning turns to afternoon. If you can get a gobble out of a turkey at 2 pm, that’s a bird that wants to play. Legal shoot time for spring turkey ends at 5 pm. On multi-day hunts the group is welcome to go and relax for the afternoon or join the guide to try and roost some birds in the evening for the next morning hunt. Fall California Wild Turkey Hunts: Fall turkey hunting takes a different approach. A common method is to break up the flocks of young-of-the-year turkeys that are still with the hen and use an assembly call to bring them back in. This technique doesn’t work so well for big Tom turkeys because they aren’t in the flocks with the young birds. The big turkeys are either alone or in bachelor groups. To kill a longbeard in autumn requires pre-season scouting to understand where they are loafing, feeding, and roosting. Our guides spend countless hours in the fall turkey woods observing sign and marking fall territories. When the season arrives it’s all about being in a strategic location to intercept the turkeys as they move about. Glassing openings and sneaking into shooting range also can be an effective method. The great thing about a fall turkey hunt is that there are so many other species that can be hunted at the same time, that live in the same region – including, mountain quail, valley quail, dove, squirrel, rabbit, gray fox, coyote, raccoon, bear, or even fishing. There is never any downtime in November and early December. Hunt can be extended for additional cost.

10-Day Remote Moose Hunt in Exclusive Access Area

The moose in our hunting area grow big, thanks to healthy genetics and plenty of food. Wolves pass through once in a while, but do not gather here to focus feeding on moose, year-round. As a result, our moose numbers continue to grow, and the size of our bull moose keep getting bigger and bigger. We have a very good relationship with the local people in and around the village of Egegik. Our exclusive outfitter access to this area ensures a very good opportunity for hunters to fill tags. The hunting is done from tented spike camps, where ground is covered on ATVs and by boat. Spotting game, then stalking in for a shot, is the norm. Moose are often called in during the rut. Bring hip or chest waders that you can walk in all day, every day, as that’s the most efficient way to comfortably cover ground. Mud and water dominate the lowland tidal flats and tundra that we hunt. Wolves, wolverine, red fox, ptarmigan, ducks and geese are often taken as bonus species by many of our hunters.

Spring or Fall Rio Grande Turkey Hunt - Day Hunt on Public

To put it mildly – we love our turkey hunting. Turkeys in California are expanding their range every year, opening up new opportunities. In the areas we hunt it’s typically considered the Rio Grande subspecies of wild turkey. We offer spring California wild turkey hunts where you can experience your heart pound as a longbeard struts into view. We can also put you on an autumn turkey which requires a different approach but can easily be combined with several other hunting opportunities. We offer hunts on exclusive private ranches in the beautiful oak woodlands of California and also on public forestland where you can match wits with a truly wild mountain turkey. The choice is yours. Spring California Wild Turkey Hunts: Usually in February the male turkeys begin to gobble and that’s when we start hitting the hills listening and looking for strutting zones and roost trees. A day in the spring turkey woods is like magic. It starts early in the morning where we will set up near a roost tree long before first light. When the songbirds begin to sing their spring rituals is right about when the ring of gobbles echo from atop the roost trees. We will begin some light calling sequences to let the birds know there is a hen nearby. After the turkeys fly down it won’t be long before we will know if the plan worked out. Getting turkeys soon after they land on the ground from the roost is an excellent tactic. Some folks end the hunt after the morning thunder turns silent. We don’t stop there. If everyone in the group hasn’t got their bird we will hunt all day. In our experience hunting gets better as the late morning turns to afternoon. If you can get a gobble out of a turkey at 2 pm, that’s a bird that wants to play. Legal shoot time for spring turkey ends at 5 pm. On multi-day hunts the group is welcome to go and relax for the afternoon or join the guide to try and roost some birds in the evening for the next morning hunt. Fall California Wild Turkey Hunts: Fall turkey hunting takes a different approach. A common method is to break up the flocks of young-of-the-year turkeys that are still with the hen and use an assembly call to bring them back in. This technique doesn’t work so well for big Tom turkeys because they aren’t in the flocks with the young birds. The big turkeys are either alone or in bachelor groups. To kill a longbeard in autumn requires pre-season scouting to understand where they are loafing, feeding, and roosting. Our guides spend countless hours in the fall turkey woods observing sign and marking fall territories. When the season arrives it’s all about being in a strategic location to intercept the turkeys as they move about. Glassing openings and sneaking into shooting range also can be an effective method. The great thing about a fall turkey hunt is that there are so many other species that can be hunted at the same time, that live in the same region – including, mountain quail, valley quail, dove, squirrel, rabbit, gray fox, coyote, raccoon, bear, or even fishing. There is never any downtime in November and early December. Hunt can be extended for additional cost.

We have access to thousands of acres right here in south Florida to try to slow down the coyote problem which is taking over much of the united states. Your stay with Fins and Feathers guide service will take place at the “ranch house”. The 4 bedroom 3 bath home is nestled in some of the most beautiful country that Douglas County has to offer. In the spring the surrounding hills and pastures are covered in fresh green grass. Oak trees covered in moss line the road to the lodge, among them you will find blooming daffodils in the spring and fall brings an array of autumn colors. No matter what season it is the setting is beautiful. The house has two televisions, one in the family room and the other in the master bedroom. The master bedroom has a separate entrance, deck, and hot tub. Each morning a guide will wake you up and let you know how much time you have until your departure. Ronnie, Craig’s mom, or Becky, will do the majority or the cooking during your stay. Occasionally the staff at Applebee’s pitches in. Breakfast will be available along with coffee and other beverages. Meals are flexible and we do our best to accommodate your taste. Lunch is always available; however it will not always be served at the house. If you are with us during Turkey season we may be eating in town at lunch time because a lot of the hunting leases are a bit of a drive from the house. Dinner will be served each evening when your hunt is complete. The house has two family rooms one with the television and the other a fireplace and two couches. This is a unique hunt on private land where hunts are conducted out of 4x4 trucks, making it feasible for elderly folks or those with difficulty walking. We have been operating out of our Candy Dan Camp for over 25 years. Constructed on the private ranch we hunt, located some 65 miles south of Great Falls, our base camp consists of a newly constructed cook house built in 2013, equipped with a full kitchen, buffet table, couches, hot and cold water, and a custom dining table for up to 12 hunters, three cabins for sleeping quarters for the hunters, a sauna house, and sleeping quarters for the guides. Camp is equipped with propane heat, electricity in all cabins, electricity, full shower/sauna, and WIFI! DL Elk Outfitters conducts guided rifle elk hunts on over 70,000 private acres in the Big Belt Mountains in central Montana. These private lands are home to some of Montana’s largest resident elk herds. We are not dependent on migrations, or heavy snows to push the elk out of areas we cannot hunt, giving our hunters a high chance of success. The country is rich in large grass meadows for feed, ridges, and draws of timber making excellent habitat. Elk hunters access the hunting areas by 4-wheel drive vehicles and hiking to vantage spots and glassing for bull elk. (No horses or pack strings here.) Only bull elk with brow tines are legal in our area to harvest, and that means 5, 6, and 7 point bulls are the norm here rather than the exception. Elk hunters average glassing more than 100 elk per week on our hunts. Mule Deer and Whitetail Deer are available on all elk hunts and make for a great combo. Our hunting leases, comfortable cabins, elevations under 6500 feet and 4-wheel drive access make this an area any hunter, regardless of age or physical condition, can hunt. 5-Day Trophy Blacktail Hunt on Private - OTC Tags

2M Hunting offers blacktail deer hunting trips on the central coast of California in San luis Obispo Monterey and San Benito Counties. Our ranches range from rolling oaks to steep rocks and open grasslands. Hunters can expect to see 5 to 10 bucks per day. Most of the time spent on this hunt is moving from spot to spot glassing canyons and ridges looking for that mature Blacktail Buck. The Hunt will take place in southern A zone which is an “over the counter” tag. The A Zone Rifle Blacktail Deer season starts on the second Saturday in August and runs for 45 consecutive days. The turkeys we hunt are primarily in remote areas and live many miles from human civilization. Unlike Nebraska or other transplant States, these are truly "wild turkeys." They live in their natural forested, mountain habitat with no food plots, no farm fields, no feeders or other human influence. Since Merriam's are mountain dwelling turkeys, our hunts take place in the Ponderosa Pine forests at elevations around 6500 to 8500 feet. The mountainous hunt area has breathtaking scenery and great temperatures of around 75 degrees in the day and 40 degrees at night. Arizona Shotgun Spring Season Merriam's turkey tags are on a lottery draw. We typically hunt for northern Arizona Merriam's turkey within public land, such as the Coconino National Forest. These are fully-guided turkey hunts. Hunters are led into the field daily by an experienced Merriam's turkey guide in order to provide the highest chances for success. Our guides are very familiar with the area, terrain, where the birds hang-out, and more importantly, the techniques needed to effectively hunt native mountain Merriam's turkeys. We conduct 1-on-1 and 2-on-1 turkey hunts, but to increase odds of harvesting, each hunter should consider having their own guide. If choosing 2-on-1, it is a requirement that you bring the other hunter to share the guide with. If you cannot find a hunting partner, you will have your own personal guide and get the 1-on-1 rate. We keep camp sizes to a minimum to ensure the utmost quality of the hunting experience. Northern Arizona is home to the Merriam’s wild turkey, whereas southern Arizona is where the Gould's turkey resides. Historically, the Merriam's turkey was only found in 3 states: Arizona, New Mexico, and Colorado. Merriam's have been transplanted from these three states to many parts of the country, but a unique place to hunt them is in their indigenous area. Arizona turkeys are wild and native birds. This is where the Merriam's originated, so they are pure. There is no hybridization in our areas like some other areas of the country that offer Merriam's turkey hunting. Characteristics: The bright colors of the Arizona Merriam's turkey will amaze hunters that are only familiar with the other turkey subspecies. Merriam's have a cream-white accent on the outer edge of the tail feathers and rump, unlike the Eastern, Osceola, and Rio Grande turkeys (Gould's typically have pure white). It's light colored tail tips are an intermediate between the tan Rio's and the white Gould's. The primary wing feathers are mostly white with small black accent bars (the opposite is true with the wing barring on the other 3 sub-species).

Due to its large number of grain farms, southern New Jersey hosts some of the largest concentrations of Canada geese in the state. We are surrounded by large bodies of water that hold good concentrations of geese throughout the season. This water is both tidal and non tidal so freeze up is not a problem. Another bonus of hunting in New Jersey is the Canada Goose limits and seasons can be different from Delaware allowing more opportunities in the field. We offer both Maryland and New Jersey Canada goose hunting during the September season.Both states can offer great hunting when conditions are right. Now that we are hunting two states it increases our chances to consistently put our clients on birds.Our two hunting areas in these two states are only an hour apart, we can easily scout both areas on a daily basis.Most of these resident birds are very vulnerable to good calling and decoys particuarly the juveniles. We manage over 9 farms encompassing about 2200 acres in south Jersey and Marylands’ Eastern show which helps ensure no one farm is overgunned. These are all leased farms. All of our hunts are in bean, corn or wheat fields – a favorite of Canada geese.These three crops provide Canada geese the food they love and need throughout the gunning season. We invite you to hunt with us on our well managed elk ranch that totals around 10,000 acres. Our properties are nestled into the foothills of the crazy mountains which are located in central Montana. Our goal is to limit the number of hunters we take which decreases pressure and increases success. Hunt tactics include a mixture of ground blinds, calling, and spot and stalk hunting. While it is possible to access the property by vehicle, we try to minimize disturbance by utilizing horses and hiking when possible. Trophy potential varies depending on a number of factors including time of year, temperature, weather patterns etc. but most hunters have a chance at 5x5 and 6x6 bulls. We would classify this ranch as having moderate terrain as far as elk country is concerned. This means that you don’t have to climb thousands of feet every day to reach the elk. However, it is still elk country and the ranch is over 6000’ in elevation. It is for this reason that we ask all hunters to make sure they show up in good physical condition. You will have more fun and your odds of success only increase by being in good shape. Hunt includes food, lodging and travel to and from the hunt area. Alaska Four-Species Hunt: Moose, Brown Bear, Mountain Goat, and Black Bear - Fall

All hunts are conducted 1X1 (one guide, one client) to ensure your ultimate success. Depending on where you are hunt in the Cordova area, both client and guide are transported by the use of small aircraft the day before your hunt begins. Each Brown Bear spike camp are portable and removable to assure the best possible area to hunt. Each spike camp tent are 8’X8’ or larger and are equipped with cots and heaters for your comfort. Brown Bear country can be in a variety of areas, from 5000 foot mountain tops to the coastal areas of the North gulf coast. I have a saying, bears are where bears are, which can be everywhere. MOOSE: (Alces Alces-Latin Name) – Alaska-Yukon Moose is the largest of the moose family, weighing in at close to 1400 pounds and over 7 feet tall at the shoulders. The Cordova, Alaska area has been known for over 30 years as one of the top places in the world for record class Moose, with some of the top SCI record class Moose coming from this area. Over the past 30 years, we have placed in the top three 26 times in Alaska’s APHA/SCI awards program. Here at the TSIU Lodge we strive in taking 60 inches or better with our largest reaching 80 inches. If someone were to ask me, what the chances are of achieving a trophy class moose, I would say, yes the genetics are there. Remember, one of my goals as your professional hunter, is for you to achieve your trophy of course. But the most important goal for me as your professional hunter, is to conduct a safe, enjoyable, most of all, memorable safari adventure. BROWN BEAR: (Ursus Arctos- Latin Name) With the abundance of a rich food source in the Cordova area, such as Salmon, Moose, Mt Goats and unlimited sea life along the coast, the Brown Bears can reach weights of up to 1500 pounds. Here at the Cordova area, we hunt Brown Bears April through May and September through October. My guide use area near Cordova consist of several land owners, such as Chugach National Forest Service, BLM and State of Alaska lands, in which I am fully permitted for to conduct guide hunts. This guide use area that we hunt on, permits each hunter to harvest one Brown each regulatory year, which does not count against the harvest of one (l) Brown every (4) years, like in other parts of Alaska (like Kodiak Island and Alaskan Peninsula). Here at the Tsiu River Lodge we strive to take male brown bear 9 foot or larger and have taken many bears 10 foot plus over the year with many skulls over 28 plus, with some over 29 inches. Remember, one of my goals as your professional hunter, is for you to achieve your trophy of course. But the most important goal for me as your professional hunter, is to conduct a safe, enjoyable, most of all, memorable safari adventure. MOUNTAIN GOAT: (Oreamnos Americanus-Latin Name) Cordova Mt. Goat population is one of the healthiest in the state of Alaska. With some of our horn genetics being one of the best in Alaska. Many of our clients receiving top awards each year during the APHA/SCI program for top scoring Mt. Goat trophies. In Cordova, our goals have been to work with local area biologist, in harvesting selected areas for trophies by a permit system, with intent not to over harvest and focus on Billy harvest only. We strive to harvest Billie’s 8 1/2 inches or better. Our average has been 9 inches or better in recent years, with a few in the 11 inches class. We have 2 classes of Billie’s in our area, normally Billie’s weighting in 285 to 325 pounds and then we have “Buffalo Billie’s” weighing in at nearly 400 pounds, a bigger genetics Mt. Goat. BLACK BEAR: (Ursus Americanus- Latin Name) With plenty of food near the coastal areas of Cordova, our Black Bear have always been plentiful in the Cordova area, both during the spring and fall hunts. As always, we have goals, trying to achieve 6 foot or better, with an occasional 8 footer taken. Black Bear hunts are conducted 1X1 (one guide, one client) to ensure your ultimate success. But many times it’s a great starter hunt for the new young hunter to compatibility their parents or guardian. Depending on where you are hunt in the Cordova area, both client and guide are transported by the use of small aircraft the day before your hunt begins. Each Black Bear spike camp are portable and removable to assure the best possible area to hunt. Each spike camp tent are 8’X8’ or larger and are equipped with cots and heaters for your comfort. Again, Black Bear habitat varies from high covered snow peaks of their denning areas to the coastal grass areas near the coastal areas, during April, May and June. During the fall, most bears are hunted where berries are plentiful, either high up in the mountainous hillsides or low coastal areas where sometimes berries are thick. Once your trophy is taken, and it is then tagged, skinned and peel, the meat is quartered and packed out to the extraction point. You are welcome to take your Black Bear meat back with you, and I can direct you to a local butcher in Cordova, that can process the meat for you. If you choose not to take your Black Bear meat back with you, the meat will be donated to a local elders or local charity in Cordova, never wasted. Once the Black Bear hide and skull are back at the lodge, hide is fleshed, ears, lips, nose, tail is turned and knuckles are out, it is then salted. Trophies are normally shipped from lodge to my expeditor in Anchorage, at the end of the season.

On our Arizona guided predator trips, we recommend our clients to book more than one day to pile up your Fur-Slam on your trip. A typical day of predator hunting takes place around either northern, eastern, & southern Arizona, and or on private ranches within the state in the higher & low desert areas in the heart of Arizona. Ranges could be anywhere from point blank using a shot gun and out to 300 yards taken on centerfire shots, but the average shots taken is under 100 yards. Rimfire cartridges such as 17WSM, 22WMR, 22 Hornet, Centerfire cartridges .204, .223, .22-250, .243, .308, or the 6.5 will get it done. Snow Goose Hunt in Delaware

Southern New Jersey holds upwards of 150,000 snow geese during the fall and spring. Most of these birds are in Salem and Cumberland county. Generally the birds show up in late October and leave in mid-March. New jersey snow goose hunting presents two unique challenges. First,these birds sometimes will fly over to Delaware to feed for the day. Another second factor to contend with here in New Jersey are the huge tidal marshes where the birds roost. Generally the birds will not leave the marsh preferring to stay and feed on the salt hay fields that are so numerous in New Jersey tidal marshes. But once the weather turns cold that is when the birds head inland from 2- 20 miles to find higher protein food like corn, soybean or wheat. We have farms in both Salem and Cumberland county. All or our farms are inland anywhere from 2 -12 miles from the roost areas for these birds. As mentioned above, our best hunting is the first cold snap when the birds head inland for high protein food. Snow geese prefer large farms and our farms vary in size from 60-415 acres. We have leased these farms for over ten years so we have a good idea of when they will use them. And of course we scout daily and have area farmers looking for us also. Snow goose hunting requires a huge amount of decoys. We use mostly silosocks and some full bodies. More so than any other waterfowl, huge spreads of decoys are an important part to harvest snow geese. Being on the ‘X” is most important but we have had a lot of good hunts (25-50 birds) just getting under the birds and hunting traffic. 200 decoys was deadly ten years ago but today 500-1500 decoys are needed for those same results. Generally our best hunting is when it gets cold and the birds head to the fields to feed. Another good time for us is February- March season for a couple reasons. The conservation season begins and the e-callers really help decoys birds especially the small bunches and it also helps tremendously on traffic hunts. Tens of thousands of snow geese move into our area this time of the season. They are starting to stage to head north and gradually move north along the tidal marshes as they stage. And lastly, like all waterfowl, windy days really produce especially when using Silosocks. Remember we are hunting snow geese that are about as predictable as the weather. These are very skittish and finicky birds that have no real agenda when it comes to decoying. The rule with snow geese are there are no rules. Let the fun begin!

East Texas Wild Hog One Day Hunt (3pm - Noon the Next Day)

When you book a hunt with us your group will be the only hunting party on the property. Your hunting guide is dedicated to making sure you have a good experience on the ranch and will be available to help you for a successful wild hog hunt. The McCune Ranch Property is about 600 acres in size. We do not offer high fence or pinned animals to hunt. The property is a mix of heavily wooded areas, stock ponds, pastures with creeks and a swamp running across the property. The creeks and swamp flow into the Sabine River a short distance away. This provides an endless supply of Free Range Texas Wild Hogs from the Sabine River bottoms. At McCune Ranch Outfitters your hunting guide will be available to transport you to your hunting location. One day and one night of hog hunting. Ground blind and walk and stalk hunting. Lodging and use of clubhouse. All bedding provided. Grill tools, plastic ware and paper plates provided. Unlimited hogs with no trophy fees and no hidden fees. Exclusive use of our property. Note: We do not provide food, however we have a charcoal grill and a fire pit at our lodge. At the Club House we have a kitchen area with a microwave, toaster oven, gas grill and a Blackstone griddle. You are welcome to bring your own food and grill out. Also, there are several restaurant choices available in Mineola, Texas which is less that 15 minutes from McCune Ranch.
