Year-Round Private South Florida Gator Hunt - 8' Range
Gator hunting, for many, is a misunderstood tradition. It's far from just trophies. It's about ensuring the health of Florida's environment and its inhabitantsβalso putting some incredible meat in the fridge. Alligators, once driven to the brink of extinction, have made a remarkable comeback. But to maintain this balance, population management like hunting is necessary.
Gator hunting tactics vary based on the type of gator hunting we're doing. On private property we use rifles Regardless of the type of hunt, our main focus is ensuring you have a safe and unforgettable experience. These are spot and stalk hunts.

Alaska Peninsula Coastal Brown Bear Hunt
The population of Brown Bears on the Alaska Peninsula is at an all time high. With an abundant supply of salmon, berries, moose, caribou, ground squirrels and carrion, the refuge provides excellent habitat for numerous brown bears. The refuge supports one of the highest concentrations of brown bear in Alaska.
According to Becharof National Wildlife Refuge staff, Becharof and Alaska Peninsula N.W.R. combined are thought to be home to as many as 3000 of these magnificent animals. Bears range from mountaintops to seacoast. Depending on weather conditions and food supply, Alaska Peninsula brown bears usually leave their dens in April/May and return in October/November. Some bears will den much later, or not at all, if adequate food sources are available.
My hunting concessions span the entire width of the Alaska Peninsula, from Bristol Bay on the west to the Pacific Ocean on the east. One of my areas is the Island Arm of Becharof Lake; it provides most of the spawning and rearing habitat for sockeye and Coho salmon within the Becharof drainage. Consequently, it hosts one of the highest density of Alaska Peninsula brown bears feeding on spawning salmon that occurs in Becharof Refuge and the Ugashik area. My other area borders Shelikof Strait on the "Pacific side" of the Alaska Peninsula. This is tremendous bear habitat and we have harvested many bears over 10' from all three areas.
I employ one guide per hunter. My guides love to hunt Alaska Peninsula brown bears! They average over 12 years guiding experience, some I have worked with for 20 years. Our bears average over 9 feet, with success rates over 90%. The bear season alternates between fall and spring on odd years (2013, 2015, etc.) we hunt in the fall and on even years (2014, 2016, etc.) we hunt in the spring. After every spring season, the Alaska Peninsula "rests" for 18 months until the next fall season!

Kodiak Island Sitka Black-Tailed Deer Hunt
All Deer hunts are conducted 1X1 (one guide, one client) to ensure your ultimate success, with many cases, a packer is added for those extended missions. Deer can be hunted from a small cabin or spike camp from my guide use area on the south end of Kodiak Island. Spike camps are portable and removable to assure the best possible area to hunt. Each spike tent camp are 8βX8β and are equipped with cots and heaters for your comfort. Deer hunting during August and September can find bucks up high on mountain ridges 500 to 1500 foot levels. But during the months of October, November you can find bucks in the low line areas and the foothills, which will make hunting much easier.
Once your trophy Deer is taken, it is then tagged, caped, meat is quartered and packed out to the extraction point. You are welcome to take your Deer meat back with you, and I can direct you to a local butcher in Kodiak City, that can process the meat for you. If you choose not to take your Deer meat back with you, the meat will be donated to local elders or local charity, never wasted. Once Deer cape and antlers are back at the spike camp, cape is fleshed, ears, lips, nose are turned, it is then salted. Trophies are normally shipped from lodge to my expeditor in Anchorage, at the end of the season.
(Odocoileus hemionus sitkensis -Latin Name) Sitka Black Tail Deer has a smaller rack than most deer species. They make up for the smaller rack size by being one of the most handsome species in the world. These thick, smaller deer have a dark, almost black forehead with a double white throat patch and rich chestnut colored antlers and beautiful black tipped tail. They are arguably the most hearty deer on the planet, thriving in one of the most unique and challenging habitats on earth. Most Sitka Black Tail Deer on Kodiak weight between 150 and 200 pounds.

10-Day Brown Bear and Mountain Goat Hunt in Cardova, Alaska - Fall
All Brown Bear hunts are conducted 1X1 (one guide, one client) to ensure your ultimate success. Depending on where you are hunt in the Cordova area, both client and guide are transported by the use of small aircraft the day before your hunt begins. Each Brown Bear spike camp are portable and removable to assure the best possible area to hunt. Each spike camp tent are 8βX8β or larger and are equipped with cots and heaters for your comfort. Brown Bear country can be in a variety of areas, from 5000 foot mountain tops to the coastal areas of the North gulf coast. I have a saying, bears are where bears are, which can be everywhere.
Once your trophy is taken, it is tagged, skinned peeled and then packed out to the extraction point. Once Brown Bear hide and skull are back at the lodge, it is fleshed, ears and lips are turned, along with knuckles and tail out, it is than salted. Trophies are normally shipped from lodge to my expeditor in Anchorage, at the end of my spring season.
With the abundance of a rich food source at the Tsiu, the Brown Bears naturally grow big. We have taken many 10 foot plus bears over the year with many skulls over 28 plus. At the Tsiu, we hunt Brown Bears April through May and September through October. The Tsiu area permits each hunter to harvest one Brown each regulatory year, which does not count against the harvest of one (l) Brown every (4) years, like in other parts of Alaska.
(Ursus Arctos- Latin Name) With the abundance of a rich food source in the Cordova area, such as Salmon, Moose, Mt Goats and unlimited sea life along the coast, the Brown Bears can reach weights of up to 1500 pounds. Here at the Cordova area, we hunt Brown Bears April through May and September through October. My guide use area near Cordova consist of several land owners, such as Chugach National Forest Service, BLM and State of Alaska lands, in which I am fully permitted for to conduct guide hunts. This guide use area that we hunt on permits each hunter to harvest one Brown each regulatory year, which does not count against the harvest of one (l) Brown every (4) years, like in other parts of Alaska (like Kodiak Island and Alaskan Peninsula).
Here at the Tsiu River Lodge we strive to take male brown bear 9 foot or larger and have taken many bears 10 foot plus over the year with many skulls over 28 plus, with some over 29 inches. Remember, one of my goals as your professional hunter, is for you to achieve your trophy of course. But the most important goal for me as your professional hunter, is to conduct a safe, enjoyable, most of all, memorable safari adventure.
Once your trophy Mt. Goat is taken, it is then tagged, skinned peeled, quartered and packed out to the extraction point. You are welcome to take your Mt. Goat meat back with you, and I can direct you to a local butcher in Cordova, that can process the meat for you. If you choose not to take your Mt. Goat meat back with you, the meat will be donated to a local elders or local charity in Cordova, never wasted. Once Mt. Goat hide and horns are back at the lodge, hide is fleshed, ears, lips, nose, tail are turned and hooves knuckles are out, it is then salted. Trophies are normally shipped from lodge to my expeditor in Anchorage, at the end of October.
(Oreamnos Americanus-Latin Name) Cordova Mt. Goat population is one of the healthiest in the state of Alaska. With some of our horn genetics being one of the best in Alaska. Many of our clients receiving top awards each year during the APHA/SCI program for top scoring Mt. Goat trophies. In Cordova, our goals have been to work with local area biologist, in harvesting selected areas for trophies by a permit system, with intent not to over harvest and focus on Billy harvest only. We strive to harvest Billieβs 8 1/2 inches or better. Our average has been 9 inches or better in recent years, with a few in the 11 inches class. We have 2 classes of Billieβs in our area, normally Billieβs weighting in 285 to 325 pounds and then we have βBuffalo Billieβsβ weighing in at nearly 400 pounds, a bigger genetics Mt. Goat.

Montana Combo Elk + Mule Deer Hunt Using 4x4 Trucks, 5.5 Days, 70K Private Acres
This is a unique hunt on private land where hunts are conducted out of 4x4 trucks, making it feasible for elderly folks or those with difficulty walking.
We have been operating out of our Candy Dan Camp for over 25 years. Constructed on the private ranch we hunt, located some 65 miles south of Great Falls, our base camp consists of a newly constructed cook house built in 2013, equipped with a full kitchen, buffet table, couches, hot and cold water, and a custom dining table for up to 12 hunters, three cabins for sleeping quarters for the hunters, a sauna house, and sleeping quarters for the guides. Camp is equipped with propane heat, electricity in all cabins, a full shower/sauna, and WIFI!
DL Elk Outfitters conducts guided rifle elk hunts on over 70,000 private acres in the Big Belt Mountains in central Montana. These private lands are home to some of Montanaβs largest resident elk herds. We are not dependent on migrations or heavy snows to push the elk out of areas we cannot hunt, giving our hunters a high chance of success. The country is rich in large grass meadows for feed to ridges and draws of timber, making excellent habitat. Elk hunters access the hunting areas by 4-wheel drive vehicles and hiking to vantage spots and glassing for bull elk. (No horses or pack strings here.)
Only bull elk with brow tines are legal in our area to harvest, and that means 5, 6, and 7 point bulls are the norm here rather than the exception. Elk hunters average glassing more than 100 elk per week on our hunts. Mule Deer and Whitetail Deer are available on all elk hunts and make for a great combo. Our hunting leases, comfortable cabins, elevations under 6500 feet, and 4-wheel drive access make this an area any hunter, regardless of age or physical condition, can hunt. Our rifle elk hunts are all guided, 2 hunters per guide unless prior arrangements are made. Elk and deer licenses are on a draw basis and have to be applied for to the state of Montana by March 15. Draw rates in recent years have been 100%.

Elk Hunting At Its Finest
We invite you to hunt with us on our well managed elk ranch that totals around 10,000 acres. Our properties are nestled into the foothills of the crazy mountains which are located in central Montana. Our goal is to limit the number of hunters we take which decreases pressure and increases success. Hunt tactics include a mixture of ground blinds, calling, and spot and stalk hunting.
While it is possible to access the property by vehicle, we try to minimize disturbance by utilizing horses and hiking when possible. Trophy potential varies depending on a number of factors including time of year, temperature, weather patterns etc. but most hunters have a chance at 5x5 and 6x6 bulls. We would classify this ranch as having moderate terrain as far as elk country is concerned. This means that you donβt have to climb thousands of feet every day to reach the elk. However, it is still elk country and the ranch is over 6000β in elevation.
It is for this reason that we ask all hunters to make sure they show up in good physical condition. You will have more fun and your odds of success only increase by being in good shape. Hunt includes food, lodging and travel to and from the hunt area. Guests stay in a renovated, fully furnished four bedroom house in the town of White Sulphur Springs. We will provide breakfast, lunch, and dinner. In addition to cooking at the house there are great local eating options as well.

Spot and Stalk Trophy Black Bear Hunts, No Bait, No Dogs (1x1)
We are pleased to offer a unique fall season bear hunting experience in southern Arizona, primarily within the Coronado National Forest. When searching for black bear hunts, many people would not ever think to look to Arizona. But, from recent experiences and publicity, more and more hunters are coming to realize that this State can provide some of the best trophy black bear hunting in the West. A glance at recent entries in the record books will show that Arizona has produced many "book" black bears. It is considered a top choice for record-class bear hunting.
Though the quantity of black bears in Arizona is not high by anyone's standards, the quality of the bears (whether it be color, body size, or record book potential) is why many hunters choose Arizona for their bear hunt. The Arizona black bear comes in all color varieties (commonly referred to as "color phases"). Colors range from blonde, cinnamon, chocolate, to coal black. Seventy-five percent of the bears we have harvested over the past couple decades have been colored with chocolate brown being dominant. Arizona black bears live in the thick timber at higher elevations most of the year, but during the months of August through October (our typical hunting season) some bears come out of the high country in search of fat-building food sources.
Bears have a very large home range and have been known to travel as far as 100 miles to find isolated pockets of food. This always keeps us "on our toes" trying to locate them before hunting season. Some Arizona black bears travel to the lower desert elevations of their mountain ranges looking for prickly pear cactus fruit, which is very sweet and high in calories. This phenomenon is often called "Bears in the Pears." Southern Arizona bears are typically in the pears during our August Archery-Only season. Bears may also travel to areas with a high concentration of acorns, juniper berries, mesquite beans, or manzanita berries during times when they are not eating pears, which is typically during the October General season (General = firearms or other legal weapons for bear). What the bears are feeding on dictates where and how we hunt. Our bear hunts are "fair chase" in the purist form!
Although every one of our big game hunts can be considered challenging, this is considered the most challenging hunt that we offer. Dogs or bait are not used on this hunt. We use two main techniques to harvest our bears, the spot-and-stalk method and the calling method. As a primary hunting technique, we hike to a good vantage point where a few square miles of terrain can be seen at one time. When a bear is amongst the sparse vegetation, it can be observed at very long distances using high-powered binoculars. We occasionally spot bears up to 2 miles away since it is such a vast area. Once a good bear is spotted, we plan our stalk. Rifle shots can sometimes be across big canyons, so a Harris bipod, good high-power riflescope, and a big, flat-shooting caliber is recommended. Lightweight rifles are also needed in this very rough terrain.

As always, we have goals, trying to achieve 6 foot or better, with an occasional 8 footer taken. Black Bear hunts are conducted 1X1 (one guide, one client) to ensure your ultimate success. But many times itβs a great starter hunt for the new young hunter to compatibility their parents or guardian. During the fall, most bears are hunted where berries are plentiful, either high up in the mountainous hillsides or low coastal areas where sometimes berries are thick.

100% Opportunity Wild Hog Hunt on 10K Acre Private Ranch - RV or Camp Out
California is known for our trophy class wild boar, and the 360 Ranch is proud to boast one of the healthiest hog populations in Northern California.
Your day starts before sunrise as you and your guide travel through the ranch to a blind, stand, or lookout point. While many of our hunts involve spot and stalk, we always cater to each hunter's preference, providing options to hunt from a blind or stand - located in areas of heavy pig activity.
The 360 Ranch is one of the few ranches to also offer Texas-Style estate hunts in high-fenced preserve. Guided hunts take advantage of the entire 10,000 acre ranch plus the preserve. This ensures hunts are tailored to each guest's experience level and expectations.
In either case, you can expect to see 50+ pigs in a single day - ranging in size from less than 100 lbs. to well over 300 lbs. Weather you are looking for a mature boar with trophy-class tusks or a healthy "meat" pig, your guide will help evaluate the pigs you encounter on your hunt to ensure you harvest the type of animal you desire.

Wolf Hunt With Horses or Snowmobiles (Aug-Apr)
These hunts are conducted primarily by snowmobile in GMUβs 13 and 20. I run three different traplines encompassing over three hundred miles. If the hunter would like an opportunity to harvest a Lynx or Wolverine they will have to come join me in the dead of the Alaskan winter (December β February). I wonβt promise warm weather but I will guarantee you some of the most scenic snowmobiling on earth and lots of it!
Wolf hunting Alaska style is always rewarding. We will do some calling for predators as well as setting traps and snares in locales that are likely spots to produce results. Typically we will snowmobile between 50-150 miles a day in search of Wolves, Wolverine, Lynx, Coyote and Fox. If you are looking to only do wolf hunting in Alaska then later in the winter is the prime time.
We will stay at several of my cabins for two and three day stints looking for predators to call and/or trap. These hunts have become increasingly popular over the years so much so that I canβt even break away to attend a show to promote my business. If the hunter wants to harvest some of the most luxurious fur on the face of the earth then this hunt is for you.

Florida March & Swamp Duck Hunt, 4 Days of Hunting, 2-Person Minimum
Hunting the marshes and swamps of Lake Okeechobee for ducks is an experience in itself. Not only do we hunt on the famous Lake Okeechobee, we also hunt various public water lakes and rivers as well as private land. On our private waters, we hunt a mixture of swamps on private ranches and big reservoirs on dairies. We chase the ducks so each hunt could be in a different location.
On day one we might run the airboat in the shallow marshes of Lake Okeechobee. The next morning take the mud boat out into some open water to try ringers, then pack up and go to a private dairy to hunt in a reservoir to knock down some black bellies. No matter what type of hunt you are looking for we will accommodate. If you are looking to complete your ultimate waterfowl challenge, then we can help you with that.
We shoot mottled ducks, black belly whistlers, and some fulvous when the time is right. On top of those species, we also shoot blue wing teal, green wing teal, and ringers.

In addition to the doeβs that our hunters harvest, we take heard surveys that enable us to go through late season and remove doeβs in highly populated areas. As a whole β the areas you will be hunting have an excellent doe-to-buck ratio (2 or 3-to-1). Hunter to acre ratio is also very important. Low pressure is a huge part of harvesting mid-west whitetail deer. Here at South Fork, we keep ample ground for the numbers of hunters we run, with some farms not being hunted for entire seasons. This is all to ensure South Fork ground will remain the best of the best.
We take stand location very seriously. This is crucial when getting close to giant Illinois bruisers. The wind and thermals are taken into consideration on every set. The stand set ups are for stealth entry and exits. Stand location is one of the biggest keys to a successful hunt- second only to having a piece of great managed whitetail ground. All stands are set by South Fork Guides that have years of experience and the bucks to prove it! The rule of thumb we live by is βif we wouldnβt hunt it, we wonβt hang it!β We are as excited to get you into the stand that we hung, as you are to be in it. Itβs like we are hunting with you. Our sets consist of hangβonβs with climbing sticks (20β²-25β²); ladder stands (16β²-20β²); shooting houses (7β²-10β²); and assorted ground blinds. We utilize over 70+ Shadowhunter Blinds to provide our gun hunters with a comfortable and solid shooting setup. We put you up close and personal, itβs just a matter of time before a big shooter reveals himself.
All hunts are completely free range with no high fences in the βGolden Triangleβ of Illinois- Pike, Adams, and Hancock counties.
All South Fork properties provide the benefits of a long-standing Quality Deer Management Plan and uphold a Pope & Young deer scoring minimum of 140 inches or better.
Trail cameras cover almost every property for the majority of the growing season giving you the chance to see a potential trophy before stepping foot in the woods.
Field dressing services and deer transportation are provided by our guides if desired.
Our guides will assist in meat & trophy care and preparation for shipping

Quality Florida Alligator Day-Hunt
The single day alligator hunts are a little more laid back than the multi-night boat hunts. The alligator hunts in Florida are primarily done during the day in lakes or ponds. A crossbow, regular bow, gun, fishing pole, or baited hook is the primary method of harvesting gators on this type of hunt. If you are a first time alligator hunter a day hunt may be a good option. The thrill of seeing alligators in the light of day is something all first time hunters should experience. Day hunts are a little less intense as well. You will scan the Florida swamps by boat and when a gator is spotted we will attempt to snag it β thatβs when the fight begins.
Once the gator is snagged you will have the opportunity to harvest it with your weapon of choice. Rifle hunts allow for longer shots, 25 to 30 yards, and archery, spear or other methods require getting a little closer. God's Country rifle gator hunts are only available on private land day hunts. This is a great option as rifles allow the hunter the opportunity for longer kill shots. Many hunters will choose to bring multiple weapons on the hunt, the way a hunt unfolds may dictate which weapon is used in the kill shot on the alligator.
When you contact us about planning your hunt we will answer questions and give advice to help you choose the best weapon options to make your Florida gator hunt exciting and successful! As with any hunt, an archery hunt is much more challenging for Florida alligators than some of the other weapon options. Bow hunters will need to be experienced to be successful with this hunt. Shot distances are usually pretty short with archery hunts but a clean shot is necessary whether itβs a night or day alligator hunt. A 60 lb. draw is sufficient and you will need a fishing rig attachment. We recommend practicing precise short shots prior to your hunt.

5-Day Mule Deer Hunt (Private Land
Archery mule deer hunts begin September 1 and rifle hunts begin on October 1. Early archery hunts (first week of September) offer an excellent opportunity to harvest a full velvet mule deer buck!
Archery hunts are typically spot-and-stalk style hunts however we occasionally hunt water or food sources from a ground blind as well. These hunts are extremely successful, weβve been about 90% for the past 10 seasons on trophy caliber mule deer. We are all bowhunters ourselves and completely understand what it takes to be successful with archery equipment.

All-Inclusive Arkansas Duck Hunt
Arkansas is known for its incredible duck hunting, and our area is no different. Our fully guided duck hunts take place in a combination of field pits and flooded timber areas. We have six different field pits and two highly luxurious blinds tucked in our flooded timber areas. We keep all of our hunting spots on a strict rotation cycle in order to offer our hunters a variety of experiences while also ensuring that our areas, and the birds, can rest and remain pressured as little as possible. Our field hunts are excellent, but our flooded timber hunts take the experience to a whole new level. Windy Hill boasts a huge, luxury blind in one of our flooded timber spots that can hold large groups of hunters, and even has a small "kitchen" for cooking breakfast.
Because we care so much about the quality of our areas and being sure not to over pressure them, this experience is typically a "grand finale" that we save for the last day - and you can take our word for it, it's worth the wait. If you are looking for an Arkansas duck hunting outfitter that can provide the true flooded timber duck hunting experience, you have come to the right place! All hunting days at Windy Hill kick-off with the smell of the coffee pot and fresh biscuits. After breakfast, you and your guides will head to your hunting location for that day, where you will hunt until noon. A hot, delicious lunch will be waiting for you back at our comfortable duck hunting lodge where you can spend the rest of the day relaxing in our comfortable recliners, taking a nap in your bunk, or playing corn hole and darts in the "Duck Cave"--our brand new hangout spot at the lodge.
Evenings will consist of home-style country dinners followed by the telling of hunting stories around a warm fire or more games and relaxation in the Duck Cave. We are all about celebrating the duck hunting lifestyle in every aspect, so more than anything, the typical hunting day at Windy Hill will be centered around enjoying every moment to the fullest.

The Lisco Ranch is offering a very limited number of hunters the opportunity for deer and antelope hunts on their ranch. The Lisco family will be offering all lodging, meals, and the sons do the guiding. I will handle the booking for the ranch.
This is a 5 day fully guided deer and antelope trip (or antelope only) by the Lisco family. Both deer and antelope licenses are on a drawing with an End of May Deadline. 5-Day Oregon Roosevelt Elk Hunt, 6x6+
Your stay with Fins and Feathers guide service will take place at the βranch houseβ. The 4 bedroom 3 bath home is nestled in some of the most beautiful country that Douglas County has to offer. In the spring the surrounding hills and pastures are covered in fresh green grass. Oak trees covered in moss line the road to the lodge, among them you will find blooming daffodils in the spring and fall brings an array of autumn colors. No matter what season it is the setting is beautiful. The house has two televisions, one in the family room and the other in the master bedroom. The master bedroom has a separate entrance, deck, and hot tub.
Each morning a guide will wake you up and let you know how much time you have until your departure. Ronnie, Craigβs mom, or Becky, will do the majority or the cooking during your stay. Occasionally the staff at Applebeeβs pitches in. Breakfast will be available along with coffee and other beverages. Meals are flexible and we do our best to accommodate your taste. Lunch is always available; however it will not always be served at the house. If you are with us during Turkey season we may be eating in town at lunch time because a lot of the hunting leases are a bit of a drive from the house. Dinner will be served each evening when your hunt is complete.
The house has two family rooms one with the television and the other a fireplace and two couches. Everyone here at the house strives to make your stay a lasting memory. We all enjoy what we do and getting to know all our guests. If you find pleasure in walking, the roadβs on the ranch will be sure to satisfy you.

Sitka Blacktail Deer Hunt in Southeast Alaska, from a 78-Foot Yacht
Hunting deer in the rainforest of Southeast Alaska is an experience in deer hunting unlike any other. The elusive sitka blacktail deer may not share the notoriety of their larger cousins, the Whitetail and Mule deer, but a hunt for sitka blacktail in southeast Alaska will provide the challenge and adventure that canβt be found anywhere else in the world.
Our hunts take place in either November, during the peak of the rut, or early December when the deer are post rut. Rut conditions, snow, and weather tend to bring the deer down near sea level, where they can be hunted on the beaches and grass flats which hold some of their favorite food. Hunting is also conducted amongst the towering trees of the Tongass National Forest. Still hunting, along with walk then sit style is highly effective when used in conjunction with calling. A sitka deer will often respond to a doe or fawn bleat, often times closing to a very close range.
We recommend that all travelers get full-flex tickets as you are traveling to the Last Frontier and weather will at times play a big part in getting in or out of Alaska. Glacier Guidesβ deer hunters fly into Juneau, Alaska. From there, hunters proceed to a pre-designated Air Charter company, to be flown via floatplane to our vessel awaiting your arrival in the field. Please take note of the travel details and dates included on your contract for booking of flights. Call us with any questions to ensure you are arriving and departing as necessary.

300 Acre Hunting Preserve Hog Hunt, 250-300 lbs
A guided spot and stalk hog hunt consists of 1 hunter on 1 guide or 2 hunters on 1 guide in the spot and stalk scenarios. The hunting preserve area is approximately 300 acres so be prepared for a little walking. There are stands and ambush points the guides can direct you to if a hunter isnβt physically able to walk. This is a challenging hog hunt that is great for introducing young or inexperienced hunters to the outdoors. The hog hunting guides will help teach guests how to maneuver through the woods undetected on well-worn game trails and the hog hunters will learn how to use the wind and patience on approach. We provide shooting sticks for rifle hunters. We allow hunters to choose their weapon of choice.
While on a typical spot and stalk hog hunt your guide will predetermine a time for continental breakfast at the main lodge and then depart shortly afterward for the hunting grounds. We have had multiple hogs taken over the years on the way to the hunting location so the hunter could experience an added bonus. Once arriving to their hog hunting spots, the guide will then lead the way and help you stalk into your competent shooting range. This hog hunt is also great for large parties of hunters. The guides will safely divide the hunting area into zones and communicate together to help track moving boar and hopefully ensure success for their clients. After the hunt, the guides will load the hog or hogs and take them back to our processing facility so the meat can be prepared for transport or placed into our walk-in coolers until time for departure.

100% Shot Opportunity Arizona Predator Hunt - Day Hunt 1x1
Arizona's Rim Country, including the high and low desert areas, holds the most diverse predator habitat in the world. Our variety of predators ranges from coyotes, gray foxes, to bobcats, and majestic mountain lions as well. Predator hunting during the prime time season or during the off-season or in between our big game hunts. Experience a true predator pursuit like none other in the southwest. Guiding the veteran predator hunter or instructing the beginner hunter is our passion. It is also a proven wildlife management tool for controlling the predator population in our prime hunting areas.
We offer guided hunts that are second to none involving an electronic caller and utilizing custom made hand calls. Coyotes and foxes mostly fall victim to the call, but occasionally, a bobcat will stalk-in to check out the situation. Be prepared for some point blank extreme excitement and fast shooting when any of these critters come charging or creeping into the stand. Our exclusive guided predator hunts are offered on a daily rate basis or in multiple days. On our Arizona guided predator trips, we recommend our clients to book more than one day to pile up your Fur-Slam on your trip. A typical day of predator hunting takes place around either northern, eastern, & southern Arizona, and or on private ranches within the state in the higher & low desert areas in the heart of Arizona.
Bolt rifles & AR platform rifles are preferred for our trips since we hunt in the open country and these critters tend to be wary. Shotguns we prefer is a 12 gauge with 3" spread with #4 buck shot will do the job when we hunt the thick country. Ranges could be anywhere from point blank using a shotgun and out to 300 yards taken on centerfire shots, but the average shots taken is under 100 yards. Rimfire cartridges such as 17WSM, 22WMR, 22 Hornet, Centerfire cartridges .204, .223, .22-250, .243, .308, or the 6.5 will get it done.
DATES: This is a year-round hunt for coyotes, but grey fox and bobcat are from roughly Sep 1 - Mar 31.
SUCCESS: Our Arizona Guided Predator Day/Night trips are currently running at 100% harvest rate with a 100% shot opportunity. Our most productive methods of hunting these critters is by utilizing a electronic caller and using custom made hand calls with an emphasis on using an electronic caller.

1x1 Aoudad Hunt in Chinati Mountains - 4 Day, All Inclusive
These Free-Range Fair Chase Aoudad Sheep Hunts take place in the Chinati Mountains in West Texas on some of the largest ranches with a combined acreage of more than 750,000 acres. The properties have large populations of Aoudad Sheep and have placed many entries into the SCI Free Range Category, including 3 in the top 25. This is by no coincidence. Only certain regions of West Texas have the superior genetics to produce record book Aoudad Sheep, which the ranches have proven many times. Property size with proper management and allowing rams with the right genetics to reach 10-14 years of age is key to producing record book Aoudad.

When hunting with Duck Down Guide Service, you should expect a quality hunting experience with a professional hardworking guide.

All-Inclusive 4-Day Trophy Whitetail Hunt
The Gopher Plantation offers Whitetail Deer Hunting in Georgia on over 8,000 private owned acres that spans over diverse habitats. There are over 100 tower stands strategically located throughout the hunting property. The deer hunting stands are all equipped with metal roofs to keep rain and other elements from mother nature off the hunters during their hunt. The rifle tower stands are all equipped range from 4βx4β to 4βx6β in size and are approximately 10β high to the platform. Combo Mouflon Sheep, Wild Hog, and Wild Goat Hunt on Big Island
Mouflon Sheep, Mouflon Hybrid Sheep, Pigs, and Goats are available for harvest on Parker Ranch guided hunting tours. The hunt fee allows you to harvest all 3 big game species. Ram and Billy trophy fees apply. Firearms and ammunition are provided free of charge. Archery hunters will need to provide their own equipment. Lunch, drinks, and snacks are provided. Calls will be answered by one of the Hunting Guides.
Mouflon and Mouflon Hybrid Mouflon Sheep are the most prized mammal species on the island of Hawaii. They have exceptional eyesight and an awareness to stay just beyond the effective distances of Archery or Rifle Hunting. Trophy rams have been harvested with horns above 35 inches in length. One ram is allowed per hunt with trophy fees for rams above 25 inches of horn length. Smaller rams below 25 inches of horn length carry the standard harvest fee.
Goats have made a home for themselves on all parts of the island. They tend to be less wary than Mouflon Sheep making them an easier target via bow. One Billy is allowed per hunt. Large males can have impressive sweeps and curls in their horns with long beards and heavily muscled front quarters. The standard $500 harvest fee applies for a Billy up to 30β³ of horn length. A Billy above 30β³ of horn length will carry a trophy fee that replaces the harvest fee.
Frequently nocturnal in nature, pigs on Parker Ranch can routinely be spotted feeding during cool periods of the day allowing for pigs to be harvested with a bow or rifle via spot and stalk. Boars have been harvested with knife like sharpened tusks bright white in color and over 5 inches in length. Course hair, sharp tusks, a protective shield, and their aggressive demeanor make for an exciting hunt.

Arizona Monster Muley Rifle Hunt, 1x1, All-Inclusive
Arizona is known for its monster muleys. Not only does the Arizona Strip and the Kaibab hold monster mule deer but the high country and vast southern desert bucks hold some records too. The most abundant deer in Arizona is the Rocky Mountain Mule Deer. Mule deer are found on all terrains from the low southern deserts to high forested northern and eastern mountains. Generally these mule deer prefer the more rugged Arizona high country and southeastern areas.
Rifle seasons takes place in October, November, and December. In late November through December these bucks will be busy in pre rut and rut mode, chasing other bucks away from their doe and will make the trip even more rememberable. The rifle season will be cool to cold temperatures and the bucks can be up and about all day. Shots can be as close as 300 yards out to 800 yards. Knowing this, the hunter must start practicing long shooting distance before the season starts. It would be wise to shoot with a bi-pod or shooting sticks in different positionsβ you never know where that huge back will appear and you must be ready.

Quail hunting in Alabama, and across the Southeast is world-famous. At our lodge you will experience the finest quail hunting the South has to offer. Much of the bobwhite quail hunting now takes place on commercial ranches or preserves. Lodges in the Black Belt region offer shooting in various styles, including the traditional mule drawn wagon, horseback, quail buggies, and walkabouts. The hunting season in Alabama generally runs mid-October through March 30. There still exists some public lands where hunting is prized, however itβs likely you will need a local to show you such locations.
Our place in the heart of the south, along with the care we take to manage the land, provides our guests with unbelievable quail hunting in Alabama. Southern hospitality, courteous guides, comfortable lodging, and gourmet food make for a memorable hunting experience.

1x1 Bull Elk Hunt, 6-Day
We offer elk hunting primarily on the Coconino National Forest with Flagstaff being the closest major city (sometimes other areas on a case by case basis). The most popular elk hunting timeframe is during the rutting season when bulls and cows are vocal. We conduct an archery rut hunt from mid to late September and an early firearms/muzzleloader rut hunt at the end of September through early October. This is the main part of the rut, so there is usually nonstop action on these hunts. Bulls can fall victim to a call during this timeframe. Nothing gets the blood pumping more than hearing a monster bull elk answer your guide's calls. If luck is on your side, the bull might come charging in for an opportunity to release an arrow.
Our archery and early muzzleloader or early rifle elk hunts are conducted mostly in higher timber elevations of 7000 to 8500 ft. Even though hunting is done in September and October, the weather during these hunts are very enjoyable. It can range from 65-75 degrees in the day to 35-45 degrees at night. Complimentary accommodations are in tent camps or camping trailer, depending upon the number of hunters in camp and feasibility. The camp and the hunt area is accessed by SUV or truck and hunting is done on foot. In most cases, elk live in mountainous terrain, so hunters should be physically prepared. Hunters are encouraged to condition themselves to the best of their ability in order to increase their odds for success. If you are looking for a horseback hunt, this is NOT the hunt for you. These three early hunts are placed during the rut when elk are vocal.

7-Day Dual Weapon Rut Elk Hunt
These are among the most rugged Montana elk hunts, and we often describe them as βextremeβ hunts. Our hunts are guided in the Bob Marshall Wilderness and Swan Valley areas of Montana off of horseback. Our guides and horses have been preparing and getting shape all summer long on backcountry pack trips; elk season is what theyβve been waiting for!
Archery hunting elk, requiring close proximity to the animal, is, by its very nature, quite different from hunting these animals using a rifle. Successful archery hunts require excellent calling abilities and guides who know the difference between techniques utilized for archery versus rifle hunts.
Our elk herds are in better shape today than they have been in thirty years! Our hunting areas also support ample populations of whitetail and mule deer and color phase black bear, increasing the chances of success across species. This terrain is more challenging to hunt elk in, no doubt, no flat land here. We utilize our horses to search the front range of the Bob Marshall for elk. With exclusive access in the areas where we hunt, Swan Mountain Outfitters is able to offer archery elk hunters perhaps one of the most unique and best opportunities to bag an elk of a lifetime with a bow. As the season progresses, migration of elk begins and affords our late season elk hunters an opportunity to bag an elk at lower altitudes.

DESERT Bighorn Sheep Hunt in CO
This year again Colorado will offer a Non-Resident Desert Sheep Permit. It will be available in the regular April drawing. There are no preference points awarded so it is a wide open draw. This will be a great chance for you to get a very coveted tag.
The area where the hunt will be is where the original transplant of Desert Sheep in Colorado took place in the 1970βs. The first hunt for Desert Sheep in Colorado was in 1989, with 2 tags being awarded, and Chris Cassidy was lucky enough to draw one and finish his Grand Slam with a Colorado Desert Sheep. This area is located close to where we live and we are very familiar with the sheep and where they live. If you are interested in more information and applying for this permit please contact us soon. The deadline is the first Tuesday in April each year.

Fall Alaska Coastal Brown Bear Hunt - Yacht Based
Brown Bear hunting in Alaska is often considered the pinnacle of the North American hunting experience. While embarking on a brown bear hunt with Glacier Guides, you will be hunting the renowned βABCβ Islands for one of the most unique populations of Brown Bear in the world. Our hunts take place in both the spring and fall, with each respective season providing a unique experience in the style and method of hunting. The Alaskan Grandeur, our custom built and designed adventure yacht will serve as base camp, while access to the hunting grounds is done via 18 foot powered skiffs.
Admiralty, Baranof, and Chichagof are the three islands that comprise the βABCβ Islands of Southeast Alaska. Located at the northern end of the Alexander Archipelago, these three islands are home to one of the most distinctive and unique brown bear populations in North America, let alone the world. A must hunt for the most discriminating of sportsmen, the βABCβ Brown Bears show an ancestral lineage more closely related to polar bears as opposed to the typical Alaskan Brown Bear. These islands are also home to the Tongass National Forest, the largest national forest in the United States and one of the last remaining intact temperate rain forests in the entire world. Encompassing 17 million acres, the Tongass with its diverse ecology and geographic features provides one of the most breathtaking and stunning environments for a sportsmanβs adventure of a lifetime.
A fall Brown Bear hunt with Glacier Guides generally consists of 10 hunting days to take place in September and October. These hunts occur amongst the many streams and rivers where the salmon are actively spawning, drawing the bears to congregate and feed as they prepare for their winter hibernation. The opportunity to view and hunt these bears as they fish for salmon provides a very unique and exhilarating hunting experience. Our custom Yacht, the Alaskan Grandeur, serves as base camp while access to the streams and estuaries is conducted via 18 foot powered skiffs. The style of hunting involves hiking up the respective streams, still hunting along the way and sitting over the many fishing holes being used by the bears. This is a very unique method of hunting as you will be completely immersed in the midst of the Tongass old growth rain forest, also known as the Fortress of the Bears β Kootznoowoo β by the local Tlingit Indians. Hunters should be able to walk upwards of two miles in chest waders, with the terrain consisting of slick, moss covered rocks, logs, trees, and uneven undulating ground. The hunting is generally in very close quarters with the bears, with shots often coming inside of 50 yards. A hunter should be well versed and practiced in various shooting positions, to include sitting, off hand, and prone.

5-Day Combo Mule Deer & Elk Hunt on Horseback
These are among the most rugged Montana elk hunts, and we often describe them as βextremeβ hunts. Our hunts are guided in the Bob Marshall Wilderness and Swan Valley areas of Montana off of horseback. Our guides and horses have been preparing and getting shape all summer long on backcountry pack trips; elk season is what theyβve been waiting for!
We offer combination hunts in which you can target mule deer, whitetail, and bear as well. Some of our hunters have snagged a wolf tag too! Many of our elk hunters bring both their rifle and bow. Multi-weapon hunts are popular with elk hunters that like to maximize their opportunity.
We like to get deep into the back country and utilize spike camps. This can get us in closer proximity to the elk for opening day. This spike camp strategy has produced many harvested elk in seasons past, but does lack the comforts of traditional hunting camps. We have been guiding gator hunts for 19 years and each year is better than the last. Kevin a call; he is happy to answer your questions and ensure your adventure is one you never forget. *No matter the reason, it is Always Gator Season! We hunt 365 days a year and your success is always guaranteed! There are a number of ways to hunt Gators, and we will customize your hunt to meet your expectations.

NO NEED TO BE A ZOMBIE! Everyone has heard the horror stories about their cousin who spent all night gator hunting with nothing to show for it other than a new-found addiction to Red Bull and Coffee. Capt. Kevin lives within 10 minutes of the hunting property, making it easy for him to keep an eye on the gators and knowing when and where these beasts are going to be when you get here. Spring or Fall Rio Grande Turkey Hunt - Day Hunt on Public
To put it mildly β we love our turkey hunting. Turkeys in California are expanding their range every year, opening up new opportunities. In the areas we hunt itβs typically considered the Rio Grande subspecies of wild turkey. We offer spring California wild turkey hunts where you can experience your heart pound as a longbeard struts into view. We can also put you on an autumn turkey which requires a different approach but can easily be combined with several other hunting opportunities.
We offer hunts on exclusive private ranches in the beautiful oak woodlands of California and also on public forestland where you can match wits with a truly wild mountain turkey. The choice is yours.
Spring California Wild Turkey Hunts:
Usually in February the male turkeys begin to gobble and thatβs when we start hitting the hills listening and looking for strutting zones and roost trees. A day in the spring turkey woods is like magic. It starts early in the morning where we will set up near a roost tree long before first light. When the songbirds begin to sing their spring rituals is right about when the ring of gobbles echo from atop the roost trees. We will begin some light calling sequences to let the birds know there is a hen nearby. After the turkeys fly down it wonβt be long before we will know if the plan worked out.
Getting turkeys soon after they land on the ground from the roost is an excellent tactic. Some folks end the hunt after the morning thunder turns silent. We donβt stop there. If everyone in the group hasnβt got their bird we will hunt all day. In our experience hunting gets better as the late morning turns to afternoon. If you can get a gobble out of a turkey at 2 pm, thatβs a bird that wants to play.
Legal shoot time for spring turkey ends at 5 pm. On multi-day hunts the group is welcome to go and relax for the afternoon or join the guide to try and roost some birds in the evening for the next morning hunt.
Fall California Wild Turkey Hunts:
Fall turkey hunting takes a different approach. A common method is to break up the flocks of young-of-the-year turkeys that are still with the hen and use an assembly call to bring them back in. This technique doesnβt work so well for big Tom turkeys because they arenβt in the flocks with the young birds. The big turkeys are either alone or in bachelor groups. To kill a longbeard in autumn requires pre-season scouting to understand where they are loafing, feeding, and roosting. Our guides spend countless hours in the fall turkey woods observing sign and marking fall territories. When the season arrives itβs all about being in a strategic location to intercept the turkeys as they move about. Glassing openings and sneaking into shooting range also can be an effective method.
The great thing about a fall turkey hunt is that there are so many other species that can be hunted at the same time, that live in the same region β including, mountain quail, valley quail, dove, squirrel, rabbit, gray fox, coyote, raccoon, bear, or even fishing. There is never any downtime in November and early December.
Hunt can be extended for additional cost.

Backcountry 7-Day Montana Elk Hunts Adjacent to Yellowstone
We have a remote backcountry camp in the Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness in Montana, adjacent to the northern boundary of Yellowstone National Park. Our backcountry elk hunts start during the bugle season, September 15 and run through to October 15. This is an early rifle season and the hunts are 7 days long. The horseback ride to camp from my lodge is 22 miles.
Our camp is very comfortable, with wall tents, stoves, cots, foam pads and lanterns. We always have an excellent and congenial cook in camp, with plentiful, home style meals. Our string of horses and mules are the best in the business and gentle for anyone to ride.
I personally guide, and my crew of hunting guides is the best to be found. We all work as a team, and do not feel satisfied until every hunter in camp fills out. Your success of hunting and killing an elk is our main goal!

Private Land, Central Florida Whitetail Hunt - 3 Day, includes two Wild Hogs!
Our Florida whitetail deer hunts are conducted on approximately 9,800 acres of private land. All land is quality managed and has been since the early 1930's. Clients are encouraged to harvest mature whitetails; however, we do follow the state of Florida rules and regulations minimum requirement of 3 points on one side for antlered deer. At Black Tine Outfitters we don't have second jobs; we maintain feeders, food plots, and mineral sites on a yearly basis. We believe this provides a valuable food source and helps in keeping a stable and healthy herd. Combined with over 40 years of experience hunting and guiding throughout the state of Florida; rest assured that Black Tine Outfitters can put you where the deer are.
We offer several different hunting packages including whitetail deer and wild hog combo hunts, everything from 2 day hunts to 5 day hunts. We utilize ladder stands, shooting houses, and ground blinds to ensure your safety is first priority. All transportation to and from hunting locations is provided, including extraction, cleaning, and quartering of harvested game. You will also find that we do not believe in trophy fees. Over the years, we have had several clients harvest whitetails scoring in the mid 130 to low 140 class range with no additional trophy fees applied. Feel free to give us a call with any questions or concerns you may have. We are happy to accommodate your hunt any way we can. Thank you, and we look forward to meeting you.
The Seminole whitetail can be very challenging. It is often compared to hunting its sub-species, the coues deer, to the west. Terrain is thick and oftentimes marshy. Florida's unpredictable climate, combined with its extreme humidity, can make the practice of quality scent control almost impossible. The rut season for the Seminole whitetail can also be very unpredictable as our seasonal temperatures can vary dramatically day to day, causing the rut to inconsistently "turn on" and "turn off." Clients are encouraged to take their hunt serious and apply the basic fundamentals of whitetail hunting to their hunt with us as harvesting a mature Seminole whitetail can be difficult but is also a well-respected trophy. The average 4 1/2 year old buck harvested on our farms typically scores between 100"-115" and will weigh approximately 145-170 lbs depending on the time of year.

Camp is equipped with propane heat, electricity in all cabins, electricity, full shower/sauna, and WIFI!
Our antelope hunts are conducted in the month of October on our private leases. The antelope herds are healthy and growing. Trophy bucks in our area average 13-14β³ with 15β³ a possibility. Antelope hunts are done in the traditional spot and stalk. This hunt is great for kids and families as there is usually lots of action, spotting, stalking, shooting.

Western Illinois Free Range Whitetail Hunt - Archery Pre-Rut
The acres your hunt will take place on are very strictly managed. South Fork hunters are required to harvest at minimum 140 inch, 3 Β½ year old bucks. Having these practices in place for years has only made a good thing that much better.

Pheasant Hunt on 12,000-Acre Private Ranch
Pheasant shooting is among the most popular Wingshooting activities in North America, and a bucket-list item for many dedicated sportsmen. In North America it is limited to the Ring-neck pheasant, just one of more than 50 species of pheasants found around the world. Pheasant hunting in Alabama at our lodge will set a new standard for your idea of good hunting.
Our hunting guides and hunters can find this game bird in weed patches, grassy meadows, at the edges of woodlands, and of course in grain fields. We manage our property to optimize the habitat for wildlife, creating the perfect setting for epic pheasant hunting year after year. When it comes to shooting in Alabama landscapes provide seeds, berries, fruits, shoots, insects, crops, and a variety of the wild plants and cover that pheasants need to survive and thrive.
When choosing an outfitter for hunting in Alabama, a discerning sportsman has several things to consider, not the least of which is whether or not to hunt over a dog. Pheasant shooting over a dog is an art form in itself, and our lodge wants to give all of its guests the opportunity to experience it. If you have a four-legged hunting buddy of your own, we provide top-of-the-line accommodations for your pup while you stay with us. If you choose to bring your dog along, please remember to bring the latest vaccination certificates so your hunting adventure goes off without a hitch. If you do not have a dog of your own, Westervelt Lodge has a kennel full of expertly trained bird dogs available to you.

Alaska Four-Species Hunt: Moose, Brown Bear, Mountain Goat, and Black Bear - Fall
All hunts are conducted 1X1 (one guide, one client) to ensure your ultimate success.
MOOSE: (Alces Alces-Latin Name) β Alaska-Yukon Moose is the largest of the moose family, weighing in at close to 1400 pounds and over 7 feet tall at the shoulders. The Cordova, Alaska area has been known for over 30 years as one of the top places in the world for record class Moose, with some of the top SCI record class Moose coming from this area. Over the past 30 years, we have placed in the top three 26 times in Alaskaβs APHA/SCI awards program. Here at the TSIU Lodge we strive in taking 60 inches or better with our largest reaching 80 inches. If someone were to ask me, what the chances are of achieving a trophy class moose, I would say, yes the genetics are there. Remember, one of my goals as your professional hunter, is for you to achieve your trophy of course. But the most important goal for me as your professional hunter, is to conduct a safe, enjoyable, most of all, memorable safari adventure.
BROWN BEAR: (Ursus Arctos- Latin Name) With the abundance of a rich food source in the Cordova area, such as Salmon, Moose, Mt Goats and unlimited sea life along the coast, the Brown Bears can reach weights of up to 1500 pounds. Here at the Cordova area, we hunt Brown Bears April through May and September through October. My guide use area near Cordova consist of several land owners, such as Chugach National Forest Service, BLM and State of Alaska lands, in which I am fully permitted for to conduct guide hunts. This guide use area that we hunt on, permits each hunter to harvest one Brown each regulatory year, which does not count against the harvest of one (l) Brown every (4) years, like in other parts of Alaska (like Kodiak Island and Alaskan Peninsula).
MOUNTAIN GOAT: (Oreamnos Americanus-Latin Name) Cordova Mt. Goat.
BLACK BEAR: (Ursus Americanus- Latin Name) With plenty of food near the coastal areas of Cordova, our Black Bear have always been plentiful in the Cordova area, both during the spring and fall hunts. Depending on where you are hunt in the Cordova area, both client and guide are transported by the use of small aircraft the day before your hunt begins. Each Black Bear spike camp are portable and removable to assure the best possible area to hunt. Each spike camp tent are 8βX8β or larger and are equipped with cots and heaters for your comfort. Again, Black Bear habitat varies from high covered snow peaks of their denning areas to the coastal grass areas near the coastal areas, during April, May and June. During the fall, most bears are hunted where berries are plentiful, either high up in the mountainous hillsides or low coastal areas where sometimes berries are thick. Once your trophy is taken, and it is then tagged, skinned and peel, the meat is quartered and packed out to the extraction point. You are welcome to take your Black Bear meat back with you, and I can direct you to a local butcher in Cordova, that can process the meat for you. If you choose not to take your Black Bear meat back with you, the meat will be donated to a local elders or local charity in Cordova, never wasted. Once the Black Bear hide and skull are back at the lodge, hide is fleshed, ears, lips, nose, tail is turned and knuckles are out, it is then salted. Trophies are normally shipped from lodge to my expeditor in Anchorage, at the end of the season.
