15-Bird Quail Day Hunt, Lunch Included
Quail hunting in Alabama, and across the Southeast is world-famous. At our lodge you will experience the finest quail hunting the South has to offer. Much of the bobwhite quail hunting now takes place on commercial ranches or preserves. Lodges in the Black Belt region offer shooting in various styles, including the traditional mule drawn wagon, horseback, quail buggies, and walkabouts. The hunting season in Alabama generally runs mid-October through March 30. There still exists some public lands where hunting is prized, however it’s likely you will need a local to show you such locations. Our place in the heart of the south, along with the care we take to manage the land, provides our guests with unbelievable quail hunting in Alabama. Southern hospitality, courteous guides, comfortable lodging, and gourmet food make for a memorable hunting experience.

Boat-Based Alaska Brown Bear Hunt, Fall
All of our hunts are fair chase and based from our vessel the Western Profit. For bear hunts, hunters will be accompanied by one of our guides in skiffs to locate bears, and then put ashore for the stalk. In the Sitka area, on Baranof and Chichagof island’s have some of the highest brown bear populations in the world. The brown bear represents the spirit of Alaska, especially in Sitka. Strength & Untamed. This is the ultimate challenge for hunters looking for a True Fair chase hunt in Southeast Alaska’s Tongass National Forest. Our Brown bear hunt is exclusive for two (2) hunters per 10 day trip. One on one – one guide per hunter, ensuring optimum success for each hunter. Individual hunter success for the last five years has been 85%-100%! Brown, Grizzlies and Kodiaks were once thought to be separate sub-species; however, it is generally agreed now that they are the same species. The Brown bear, so named because he lives within 50 miles of the sea and usually supplements his diet with salmon, is much larger than the inland grizzly. The Brown Bear is the largest land carnivore on earth, although there is some dispute over his cousin the Polar Bear, which spends the bulk of his life on ice flows. Admiralty, Baranof and Chichagof Islands in Southeast Alaska have the densest populations of Brown Bear in the world. In general, bear hunting is more relaxed than many other hunts. Typically the hunt will not begin until afternoon when things have warmed up a bit and bears are more active. So sleeping in is actually a thing on bear hunts! Typically a leisurely breakfast aboard the boat is followed up by a few hours of relaxing glassing where all manner of animals from bears, whales, deer, sea otters, harbor seals, eagles and any number of other species may be observed. Not to mention the amazing scenery that is Southeast Alaska. Or if you’re lucky, go pull up a pot of Dungeness crab for lunch/dinner! Next comes lunch, which tends to be the heaviest meal of the day. After that, hunters and guides launch in the skiffs to begin the hunt. Hunting style, locales, and equipment differ between spring and fall, so we will break those out a bit more below. Fall brings streams full of spawning salmon to southeast Alaska. During this time, bears are in the last desperate rush to pack on calories before the long winter hibernation. Egg laden salmon in the tight confines of a stream are a bonanza of high fat calorie protein, and the final significant feast before winter sets in and the bears den up until Spring. For this reason, bears are hyper focused on feeding, and it is not unusual to see large numbers in a small area simply feeding. During the Fall, the focus shifts to these stream-bound bears as they gorge themselves on salmon. It is common to see as many as 25 bears on a fall hunt. Hunters and guides will still use skiffs to go from the boat to shore, but then they follow the stream upward to find an appropriate location to observe bears as they come and go. The fall gives a better opportunity for archery hunters due to the close proximity of the bear. How Close? Close enough to see the bear’s breath! Fall hunts are our favorite due to the amount of animal activity! Fall hunts tend to be colder and wetter than the Spring hunt, so the right gear, especially rain gear, is even more important.

Alaska Four-Species Hunt: Moose, Brown Bear, Mountain Goat, and Black Bear - Fall
All hunts are conducted 1X1 (one guide, one client) to ensure your ultimate success. Depending on where you are hunt in the Cordova area, both client and guide are transported by the use of small aircraft the day before your hunt begins. Each Brown Bear spike camp are portable and removable to assure the best possible area to hunt. Each spike camp tent are 8’X8’ or larger and are equipped with cots and heaters for your comfort. Brown Bear country can be in a variety of areas, from 5000 foot mountain tops to the coastal areas of the North gulf coast. I have a saying, bears are where bears are, which can be everywhere. MOOSE: (Alces Alces-Latin Name) – Alaska-Yukon Moose is the largest of the moose family, weighing in at close to 1400 pounds and over 7 feet tall at the shoulders. The Cordova, Alaska area has been known for over 30 years as one of the top places in the world for record class Moose, with some of the top SCI record class Moose coming from this area. Over the past 30 years, we have placed in the top three 26 times in Alaska’s APHA/SCI awards program. Here at the TSIU Lodge we strive in taking 60 inches or better with our largest reaching 80 inches. If someone were to ask me, what the chances are of achieving a trophy class moose, I would say, yes the genetics are there. Remember, one of my goals as your professional hunter, is for you to achieve your trophy of course. But the most important goal for me as your professional hunter, is to conduct a safe, enjoyable, most of all, memorable safari adventure. BROWN BEAR: (Ursus Arctos- Latin Name) With the abundance of a rich food source in the Cordova area, such as Salmon, Moose, Mt Goats and unlimited sea life along the coast, the Brown Bears can reach weights of up to 1500 pounds. Here at the Cordova area, we hunt Brown Bears April through May and September through October. My guide use area near Cordova consist of several land owners, such as Chugach National Forest Service, BLM and State of Alaska lands, in which I am fully permitted for to conduct guide hunts. This guide use area that we hunt on, permits each hunter to harvest one Brown each regulatory year, which does not count against the harvest of one (l) Brown every (4) years, like in other parts of Alaska (like Kodiak Island and Alaskan Peninsula). Here at the Tsiu River Lodge we strive to take male brown bear 9 foot or larger and have taken many bears 10 foot plus over the year with many skulls over 28 plus, with some over 29 inches. Remember, one of my goals as your professional hunter, is for you to achieve your trophy of course. But the most important goal for me as your professional hunter, is to conduct a safe, enjoyable, most of all, memorable safari adventure. MOUNTAIN GOAT: (Oreamnos Americanus-Latin Name) Cordova Mt. Goat population is one of the healthiest in the state of Alaska. With some of our horn genetics being one of the best in Alaska. Many of our clients receiving top awards each year during the APHA/SCI program for top scoring Mt. Goat trophies. In Cordova, our goals have been to work with local area biologist, in harvesting selected areas for trophies by a permit system, with intent not to over harvest and focus on Billy harvest only. We strive to harvest Billie’s 8 1/2 inches or better. Our average has been 9 inches or better in recent years, with a few in the 11 inches class. We have 2 classes of Billie’s in our area, normally Billie’s weighting in 285 to 325 pounds and then we have β€œBuffalo Billie’s” weighing in at nearly 400 pounds, a bigger genetics Mt. Goat. BLACK BEAR: (Ursus Americanus- Latin Name) With plenty of food near the coastal areas of Cordova, our Black Bear have always been plentiful in the Cordova area, both during the spring and fall hunts. As always, we have goals, trying to achieve 6 foot or better, with an occasional 8 footer taken. Black Bear hunts are conducted 1X1 (one guide, one client) to ensure your ultimate success. But many times it’s a great starter hunt for the new young hunter to compatibility their parents or guardian. Depending on where you are hunt in the Cordova area, both client and guide are transported by the use of small aircraft the day before your hunt begins. Each Black Bear spike camp are portable and removable to assure the best possible area to hunt. Each spike camp tent are 8’X8’ or larger and are equipped with cots and heaters for your comfort. Again, Black Bear habitat varies from high covered snow peaks of their denning areas to the coastal grass areas near the coastal areas, during April, May and June. During the fall, most bears are hunted where berries are plentiful, either high up in the mountainous hillsides or low coastal areas where sometimes berries are thick. Once your trophy is taken, and it is then tagged, skinned and peel, the meat is quartered and packed out to the extraction point. You are welcome to take your Black Bear meat back with you, and I can direct you to a local butcher in Cordova, that can process the meat for you. If you choose not to take your Black Bear meat back with you, the meat will be donated to a local elders or local charity in Cordova, never wasted. Once the Black Bear hide and skull are back at the lodge, hide is fleshed, ears, lips, nose, tail is turned and knuckles are out, it is then salted. Trophies are normally shipped from lodge to my expeditor in Anchorage, at the end of the season.

Whether it's low, well-managed brush cover, idle cropfields or woodland habitat, we have you covered. While it would be easy to plant vast fields of grasses and walk away, we know from 50 years of hunting experience that those types of simplistic approaches to creating cover don't work. Interspersed with patches of native praire grass and intermittent low pines, you'll find our fields to be ideal for full season bird cover. Most of our off-season at Markover is spent maintaining and establishing our diverse cover. As the seasons pass, you'll find that our ground growth and foliage offerings change while continuing to offer quality bird holding areas that are available all year long without sacrificing huntability. Picturesque and well-maintained, you'll find the views throughout our fields to be a spectacular addition to your hunting experience. 6 main hunting fields 300+ acres Large group hosting - up to 15 hunters at a time (groups of up to 4) No combined groups - you hunt with your friends/family Lone hunters are welcome weekdays & as openings allow on weekends

3-Day Columbian Blacktail Hunt With Pack Llamas
Offering fully guided Columbian blacktail deer hunts in the backcountry and wilderness of California’s B zones. Guides spend the summer scouting and patterning big bucks so that they can get you in the perfect position for the shot when the season comes. If you are interested in a spot and stalk hunt in truly spectacular country chasing mature blacktail bucks this may be the perfect adventure for you. We have a team of pack llamas to haul in comfortable camps and aid in game retrieval. We offer two styles of hunts to suit the guest(s) preferences: A true wilderness experience where we will camp deep in the backcountry and in many cases can glass excellent country right from camp. Hunts closer to the road system where we spike out for the day but make camp in dispersed or designated camping areas near roads. Both styles are physically demanding and require early mornings and long days of glassing. Days are often hot, but we get our fair share of cold or even snow at times. The reward for hard work can pay off in the memories, meat, and antlers of the unique Columbian Blacktail. The Hunt A β€œtypical” day with your blacktail deer hunting guide consists of rising well before the sun and having a quick bite to eat. Wilderness hunting camps are placed at or very near prime glassing locations. Using high quality optics on tripods we will pick apart the mountainsides looking for any part of a deer. Once a shooter buck is spotted we will plan a stalk based on the weapon, wind, the animals direction of travel, and the contours of the land. During archery season, when bucks are in velvet, we see 3-4 times as many bucks than during the general season; however, stalks must be made with patience. Just prior to the general season bucks lose their velvet and have developed a sixth sense for staying alive. These bucks tend to hole up in thicker country. Spotting them becomes the more challenging aspect – once located we can often slip within rifle range for a shot. If a shooter buck has not been spotted by mid-morning, or if other hunters in your group have not yet had an opportunity, we may move locations slightly to get views of new territory. We move more with our glass than our bodies once in a good location. Bucks can be seen at any hour of daylight and we will glass all day if needed. As dusk approaches we will make sure to be in a strategic position to spot bucks as they rise from their day beds. At dark we will head back to camp for a good meal and to relive the days hunt before getting much needed sleep. After a kill we immediately field process the animal to get it cooled off. Depending on the weather we may hang the trophy and quarters in camp or have the llamas pack them out to the vehicle to get them on ice. Deer hunts may also be combined with bear hunts. During our summer scouting trips we see numerous quality black bears in the same areas deer hunts are conducted. Notes: Our guides work extremely hard, year-round to get you in the right location, however, there is no guarantees in hunting. Very few outfits offer fully-guided Columbian Blacktail hunts on public land; that’s because it’s one of the most difficult animals to hunt due to their elusive behavior and the rough terrain. Some of the biggest bucks live in the remote locations that we hunt and we wouldn’t have it any other way. If a shot is made and blood is drawn, that’s considered your animal whether recovered or not. Be proficient with your weapon of choice. Please contact us if you’re seeking a Columbian blacktail deer hunting guide. We’ll discuss your groups needs and we can tell you about the bucks we have been seeing and how best to get you on them.

The Gopher Plantation hog hunting guides have fine-tuned their thermal hunts to guarantee an opportunity at free-range hogs every hunt. It’s not uncommon to find 4-6 groups of hogs on a 3-hour thermal hunt with us all while literally hunting out of our back door. You can add hours to your thermal hog hunt and increase the shooting opportunities. If you don’t have any thermal equipment for hog hunting at night, no problem we have you covered. On this hunt we will spend time on public and private land. You will have the choice of how you would like to hunt. In the fall Craig and I will spend a lot of time out scouting and setting up tree stands and blinds. On top of stand and blind hunting, we will also be doing spot and stalk hunting. Oregon offers some of the best Blacktail hunting available, this time of year is always exciting and full of action as the deer will be rutting around. Fall Black Bear is during the same time as late archery Blacktail season so you will have the choice of hunting one or the other or both bucks and bears. Your stay with Fins and Feathers guide service will take place at the β€œranch house”. The 4 bedroom 3 bath home is nestled in some of the most beautiful country that Douglas County has to offer. In the spring the surrounding hills and pastures are covered in fresh green grass. Oak trees covered in moss line the road to the lodge, among them you will find blooming daffodils in the spring and fall brings an array of autumn colors. No matter what season it is the setting is beautiful. The house has two televisions, one in the family room and the other in the master bedroom. The master bedroom has a separate entrance, deck, and hot tub. Each morning a guide will wake you up and let you know how much time you have until your departure. Ronnie, Craig’s mom, or Becky, will do the majority or the cooking during your stay. Occasionally the staff at Applebee’s pitches in. Breakfast will be available along with coffee and other beverages. Meals are flexible and we do our best to accommodate your taste. Lunch is always available; however it will not always be served at the house. If you are with us during Turkey season we may be eating in town at lunch time because a lot of the hunting leases are a bit of a drive from the house. Dinner will be served each evening when your hunt is complete. The house has two family rooms one with the television and the other a fireplace and two couches. Everyone here at the house strives to make your stay a lasting memory. We all enjoy what we do and getting to know all our guests. Spring Alaska Coastal Brown Bear Hunt - Yacht Based
Brown Bear hunting in Alaska is often considered the pinnacle of the North American hunting experience. While embarking on a brown bear hunt with Glacier Guides, you will be hunting the renowned β€˜ABC’ Islands for one of the most unique populations of Brown Bear in the world. Our hunts take place in both the spring and fall, with each respective season providing a unique experience in the style and method of hunting. The Alaskan Grandeur, our custom built and designed adventure yacht will serve as base camp, while access to the hunting grounds is done via 18 foot powered skiffs. Admiralty, Baranof, and Chichagof are the three islands that comprise the β€˜ABC’ Islands of Southeast Alaska. Located at the northern end of the Alexander Archipelago, these three islands are home to one of the most distinctive and unique brown bear populations in North America, let alone the world. A must hunt for the most discriminating of sportsmen, the β€˜ABC’ Brown Bears show an ancestral lineage more closely related to polar bears as opposed to the typical Alaskan Brown Bear. These islands are also home to the Tongass National Forest, the largest national forest in the United States and one of the last remaining intact temperate rain forests in the entire world. Encompassing 17 million acres, the Tongass with its diverse ecology and geographic features provides one of the most breathtaking and stunning environments for a sportsman’s adventure of a lifetime. A spring Brown Bear hunt with Glacier Guides typically consists of ten hunting days and is often done in combination with a black bear hunt. Our Southeast Alaska spring hunting season starts in mid April and finishes at the end of May. This is one of the premier times to experience Alaska as the flora and fauna that inhabit the woods and water are awakening from their winter slumber, with the renewed optimism and growth that the spring season brings. During this season, the bears are emerging from their winter dens and venturing to the beaches and grass flats in search of the various food sources that will sustain them throughout the spring. A typical spring diet for a brown bear consists of new plant growth, sedge grass, kelp, small crustaceans, and any carrion that they can scavenge from amongst the surf whipped beaches.

Once the Black Bear hide and skull are back at the lodge, hide is fleshed, ears, lips, nose, tail is turned and knuckles are out, it is then salted. Trophies are normally shipped from lodge to my expeditor in Anchorage, at the end of the season.

100% Success Rate (Shotgun) Gould's Turkey Hunt, Affordable, 1x1
We are pleased to offer hunting trips in southern Arizona for the rare Gould's turkey. The Gould's turkey is primarily a mountain dwelling bird that inhabits the extreme southern portions of Arizona in higher altitude areas known as "Sky Islands" (forested mountaintops that rise above the vast sea of desert). The Gould's sub-species is geographically separated from the northern Arizona Merriam's by hundreds of square miles of surrounding desert. Therefore, the chance for hybridization is slim to none. The Gould's is the largest of the turkey subspecies with longer legs, larger feet, and larger tail feathers and wings than all the other subspecies. They also have a higher level of iridescence to their feathers. But, the most notable difference from the other turkey subspecies is that the Gould's turkey typically has whiter tips on the rump and tail feathers (Merriam's have a cream-white). The Gould's turkeys that we hunt live in a natural habitat with no food plots, no farm fields, no feeders and typically no other human influence. Since Gould's are mountain dwelling turkeys, our hunting takes place in the Oak Woodlands to Ponderosa Pine forests at elevations of 6000 to 8000 feet. This high altitude hunt area has breathtaking scenery with very enjoyable Springtime temperatures of around 80 degrees in the day and 45 degrees at night. In order to eliminate over-harvest, Arizona Gould's Turkey tags are on a special random lottery draw through the Arizona Game and Fish Department. If interested in booking a hunt with us, contact the outfitter on how to apply and which hunt numbers to use. Once a tag is drawn for our recommended area, we can then book the hunt.

Drop Camp Backcountry Hunt for Black, Wolverine and/or Wolf
I offer a limited number of unguided hunts in southwestern Alaska. Unguided hunts should not be taken lightly. In my career, I have witnessed several experienced hunters/outdoorsmen be overwhelmed by the Alaskan wilderness. I have also seen several hunters come out early because they were not physically and mentally ready for the challenge. Don't let this happen to you. That being said, an unguided hunt in Alaska is one of the most rewarding hunts an avid hunter can experience. You should consider this type of hunt if you are in excellent physical fitness, have a β€œcan-do” attitude, practical hunting experience, and possess excellent wilderness survival skills such as map reading, first aid, camping, and orienteering. When done, you will be able to say that you guided yourself hunting on the Last Frontier. I will fully outfit you with enough food and gear for the duration of your hunt. I supply modern gear in excellent working condition. I will provide a gear list for you. When you are compiling your gear, do not be tempted to bring the same kind and quantity of gear you would take on a Rocky Mountain elk hunt. Don't be afraid to call me with questions like this and I will do my best to get you squared away. Non-guided hunter groups will need to make a $500 gear deposit to cover lost or damaged gear. If the gear is returned and not damaged, the full gear deposit will be refunded. Non-guided hunters must also view a video about legal animals and meat care. I will send you the video and a form to sign and send into the State of Alaska. You cannot go into the field until the State receives your signed form. Fully outfitted unguided hunts allow you to take moose, wolverine, wolf, and black bear.

Year-Round Private South Florida Gator Hunt - 10' Range
Gator hunting, for many, is a misunderstood tradition. It's far from just trophies. It's about ensuring the health of Florida's environment and its inhabitantsβ€”also putting some incredible meat in the fridge. Alligators, once driven to the brink of extinction, have made a remarkable comeback. But to maintain this balance, population management like hunting is necessary. Gator hunting tactics vary based on the type of gator hunting we're doing. On private property we use rifles Regardless of the type of hunt, our main focus is ensuring you have a safe and unforgettable experience. These are spot and stalk hunts.

Spring Turkey Hunt in CT - Half Day
Turkey hunts target male turkeys during the spring season from late April to late May, respectively. Hunts scheduled in Connecticut can be half or full day hunts, while Rhode Island and Massachusetts hunts are limited to half-day morning hunts per state regulations. During the hunt, Justin and the client(s) will actively pursue gobblers. Hunters will learn what to look for and interpret how male birds are interacting with breeding hens and using the environment. The objectives for spring turkey hunts include: understanding turkey habits and behaviors; learning location and calling methods and adapting to situational changes. 2x1 Desert Mule Deer Hunt, 4-Day
Arizona Guided Hunts also offers hunting options for the desert mule deer, primarily in southern Arizona. Mule deer hunting in Southern Arizona can provide a great opportunity for the first-time mule deer hunter or the hunter wanting a true desert mule deer to complete their slam. If you need your desert mule deer for the slam, this is a very unique and exciting hunting experience amongst desert terrain. Although there is potential to harvest bucks with larger racks, the mature Arizona desert mule deer bucks that we typically harvest in our hunt areas have racks from 18 to 25 inches wide and have 3 to 5 points per side. Considering this is the desert, deer densities cannot be high in such a dry environment. But, our guides have mastered the techniques and have done their scouting homework so that our hunters can see a significant number of deer, again, considering it is the desert. Our hunting style is the spot and stalk method. We hike to a good vantage point where a couple square miles can be seen at one time. Most of our mule deer hunting is done with our eyes through tripod-mounted optics. Once a good mule deer buck is spotted, we make our move from the vantage point for the final stalk. The terrain is very open, therefore rifle shots are usually over 300 yards and archery shots might exceed 50 yards. There may be a great deal of hiking involved, so hunters are encouraged to condition themselves to the best of their ability before arriving. Opportunities have been 100% for rifle desert mule deer hunts with an extremely high success! Opportunities to release arrows on archery mule deer hunts is extremely high!

1x1 Private Land Rifle Antelope Hunt; 100% Opportunity; Land Voucher; Units 6, 16, 17, 171, All-Inclusive
You will have the opportunity to hunt several private ranches (42,000 acres). We hunt our Pronghorn with spot and stalk tactics and strategically placed Pop-Up Ground Blinds over waterholes and stock tanks. We enjoy a 100% Opportunity rate. With an average score of 78", we target mature bucks and bucks scoring 80". Jackson County boasts a large herd of Pronghorn, most of which migrate to lower elevations in Wyoming to escape the brutal winters that come to North Park every year. Tags in our units are very tough to draw. In 2018, it took 16 points for both a Resident and a Non-Resident to draw a license. However, there are a limited number of landowner vouchers available to us, and due to the very limited draw in these units, there are some giant Bucks that inhabit the area! Many B&C and P&Y entries come from our units every year. In order to have us apply for a landowner voucher, we require a hunt deposit of 50% of the hunt cost. We have been able to draw archery, muzzle-loaders, and rifle vouchers in most years. This is also a great hunt to combine with our August/September Elk Hunts. Hunt wapiti in the morning and afternoon and pronghorn in the middle of the day. Who needs a nap when you can have a full-on adrenaline rush all day?

Western Gray Squirrel Day Hunt
An entire web page for squirrel? Yup. Squirrel hunting is underrated on the west coast compared to the east where squirrels get the attention they deserve. We target the Western Gray Squirrel. These big-meaty squirrels are excellent when fried like chicken wings or made into cream-of-squirrel soup, or? There is no better hunt for introducing a new hunter to the sport. It’s peaceful underneath towering autumn oaks while listening and looking for squirrels above. We hunt squirrels on private ranches and public forestland. There are thousands of acres of squirrel habitat available to us. We are on the ground nearly daily and know where dense pockets of squirrels live their lives virtually undisturbed. We are on the ground nearly daily and know where dense pockets of squirrels live their lives virtually undisturbed. The methods we use to hunt squirrels is to walk the woods quietly while scanning about, often seeing them jump from tree to tree. Or to sit down underneath a decadent oak and wait for the squirrels to lose caution and show themselves. We prefer to head shoot the squirrels with a rimfire rifle. Shotguns are equally as effective, but more damaging to the meat. Most frequently combined with upland bird hunts.

Spring Guided Rio Grande Turkey Hunts, 1x1 (price is per day)
Hunt Southern Oregon for Rio Grande Turkey on the best ranches Douglas County has to offer. We manage over 25,000 acres to ensure your success. Spring turkey hunts take place from April 15th to May 31st. We almost always fill with our repeat guests, so book your hunts early. Hunts are all-inclusive and include lodging and dinner the night before your hunt, guiding, and turkey care. Not included are your license and tag, and transportation to Eugene or Roseburg. Fin’s and Feather’s Guide Service is going on its 15th season guiding Rio Grande Turkey’s on some of the best ranches in Douglas County. In fact, Bob Toman, a Fin’s and Feather’s Guest, harvested the number one Rio Grande Turkey in the State of Oregon in 2003. Our turkey hunts include meals, lodging, and field dressing. Each afternoon your guide will roost a flock of birds. The following morning you will arrive at the roost for a prime chance at your turkey. Should this hunt be unsuccessful you will spend the remainder of the day setting up and calling. You will not be asked to sit in a blind all morning or afternoon unless requested. Your guides are very accommodating and will strive to make your time with us a very memorable one. If you have any requests just ask and it shall be done. Your stay with Fins and Feathers guide service will take place at the β€œranch house”. The 4 bedroom 3 bath home is nestled in some of the most beautiful country that Douglas County has to offer. In the spring, the surrounding hills and pastures are covered in fresh green grass. Oak trees covered in moss line the road to the lodge, among them you will find blooming daffodils in the spring and fall brings an array of autumn colors. No matter what season it is, the setting is beautiful. The house has two televisions, one in the family room and the other in the master bedroom. The master bedroom has a separate entrance, deck, and hot tub. Each morning a guide will wake you up and let you know how much time you have until your departure. Ronnie, Craig’s mom, or Becky, will do the majority of the cooking during your stay. Occasionally the staff at Applebee’s pitches in. Breakfast will be available along with coffee and other beverages. Meals are flexible and we do our best to accommodate your taste. Lunch is always available; however it will not always be served at the house. If you are with us during Turkey season we may be eating in town at lunchtime because a lot of the hunting leases are a bit of a drive from the house. Dinner will be served each evening when your hunt is complete. The house has two family rooms, one with the television and the other with a fireplace and two couches. Everyone here at the house strives to make your stay a lasting memory. We all enjoy what we do and getting to know all our guests. If you find pleasure in walking, the roads on the ranch will be sure to satisfy you.

Thermal Hog Hunting - 3x1
Texas Style THERMAL hog hunting trips are typically structured as β€œspot and stalk” type hunts that start just before sundown. Our experienced guides will take hunters of any skill level through our safety course so they can feel totally ready for their night time hog experience. Over the course of four hours, we take hunting vehicles to multiple wild hog hunting areas, including both low fence and hunting preserve properties. Hunters will get the chance to scan the area with thermal and night vision devices in order to spot hogs and coyotes, as well as other non target species. Once hogs are spotted, your Texas hunting adventure is about to get WILD! We try to stalk up less than 75 yards from our target. We often see large trophy boars, as well as sounders of large numbers of wild hogs. Your guide will safely line up the shooters, and then it is up to you to knock down UNLIMITED hogs. That’s right, our thermal hunt has NO HOG LIMIT.

4-Day Mule Deer Hunts (Private Land)
Big Horn Outfitters offers excellent mule deer hunting opportunities in Wyoming Game and Fish regions: C & Y. We harvest excellent deer every year averaging between 150-165β€³, with many larger deer harvested each year. You can expect to see good numbers of animals and have opportunities at respectable bucks during your hunt. For the most part, these hunts are only mildly physical and can be enjoyed by hunters of all ages and abilities. Success rates are generally 100% each year; the only hunters that haven’t harvested their deer were looking for a specific animal and simply chose not to take any others during their hunt. These deer hunts book up extremely fast, generally 2-4 years in advance, and they all require 2 or more preference points to draw the tag in Wyoming. The Montana tag is a general deer license and will currently take 1 point to draw.

Arizona Monster Muley Rifle Hunt, 1x1, All-Inclusive
Arizona is known for its monster muleys. Not only does the Arizona Strip and the Kaibab hold monster mule deer but the high country and vast southern desert bucks hold some records too. The most abundant deer in Arizona is the Rocky Mountain Mule Deer. Mule deer are found on all terrains from the low southern deserts to high forested northern and eastern mountains. Generally these mule deer prefer the more rugged Arizona high country and southeastern areas. Rifle seasons takes place in October, November, and December. In late November through December these bucks will be busy in pre rut and rut mode, chasing other bucks away from their doe and will make the trip even more rememberable. The rifle season will be cool to cold temperatures and the bucks can be up and about all day. Shots can be as close as 300 yards out to 800 yards. Knowing this, the hunter must start practicing long shooting distance before the season starts. It would be wise to shoot with a bi-pod or shooting sticks in different positionsβ€” you never know where that huge back will appear and you must be ready. 6-day hunt

Alaska Peninsula Moose Hunt
The Alaska Peninsula has one of the best opportunities to harvest moose in the state. The Alaska Peninsula may not have the largest number of Moose or the most record book entries, instead the real difference about the Peninsula is what the Moose don’t have – timber! They can run but they can’t hide. Eventually, they will show themselves in a Willow thicket or pop out of an Alder patch! I know where they live; I’ve been doing this since 17 years of age. We normally average over 60 inches for the bulls we harvest. Since 1983 our average success on moose hunts is over 90%. I’ve had hunters go home without moose in the past, for varying reasons, but odds are you will be successful. I usually take no more than 2 Moose hunters per season. This number has worked well for me, and every year I see a good number of bulls for the next year’s hunting season. Unit 9E has had the longest implemented minimum size antler restriction in the state. The state set a minimum of 50 inches or 3 brow tine restrictions back in the late 70’s. Now most of the state has followed suit. The Alaska Peninsula has had and still does have some of finest wildlife biologist in the State of Alaska. When combined with great habitat, mild winters and with minimum snow coverage helps maintain a healthy population. We do have a couple of concerns however: wolves and brown bears, both populations are on the rise. So you can do your part to help out the moose population by booking a bear or wolf hunt with us. Moose and bear hunting season do not overlap in unit 9E, but wolf hunting does, the limit on wolves is 10 per day and no tag fee. We pride ourselves on taking excellent care of the moose meat and cape. We will turn the ears, split the lips and bell, remove all of the cartilage from the nose and salt the cape at least 3 times before we deliver it to King Salmon. From there I usually ship it to the Wildlife Gallery for them to look it over, shake out the salt and prepare the hide and antlers to ship anywhere in the world. Obviously, there is a lot of meat that is involved with a moose – on average over 600 lbs. It all comes out of the field on the backs of your guide or packers. I have waxed fish boxes at the lodge that we can pack for you to take home. Usually most hunters only try and take back one or two boxes of meat. The rest of the meat does not go to waste. I have a couple of villages on the coast that look forward every September to some extra meat. It is my priority to make sure that all of the meat delivered to the villages, as well as your home, is clean and fresh.

Trophy Dall Hunt Sheep in Perfect Habitat
Our Alaska Dall sheep hunt takes place primarily in the historically game rich country of the Central Range east of the Alaska Denali National Park. These Alaska hunting trips are ten days in duration and begin in early August and end on the 20th of September. Alaska has long been renowned as some of the most pristine and productive Dall Sheep habitat anywhere. The Sheep population has been steady and most of the hunters get their sheep with a little luck and a whole lot of hard work! The average Alaska Dall Sheep Ram is 35-36 inches long with 13’+ bases. We do typically take several Rams a year in the 38β€²-40’+ range. The Alaska Range Rams are known for their wide flaring and light colored horns and make a fine addition to any hunters trophy room. A typical Sheep hunts entail riding up and down various drainages looking for a respectable Ram to go after. We like to tell hunters that they can expect to have a 5-7 hour, fairly arduous, climb from the time they leave the horses until they pull the trigger. The guide will cape and prepare the trophy and meat for the pack back to the horses. The guide will carry all the meat (100-120 lbs.) and we expect the client to carry the trophy (35lbs. for a shoulder mt. and 65-75 lbs. for a full body mt.) back to the horses. For this reason we require the client to bring a backpack of at least 3500 cu. in. capacity. Quite often we can hunt Alaska dall sheep right out of my two main camps but on occasion we will spike out for 2-5 days looking for a respectable ram to harvest. When we do we’ll be staying in a good quality four season mountain tent and eating freeze dried food until we can add some fresh Alaska Dall Sheep to the menu. These hunts require the hunter to be both physically fit and have the mental toughness to stay positive when mother nature and the elements may seem to be conspiring against us. The horses allow us to cover an infinite amount of country as compared to backpack hunting for the Dall Sheep. If you have the right attitude and go get it spirit I am confident we can put you on the Alaska Ram of your dreams! PRICE doesn't include a $10,000 trophy fee.

Rifle Bull Elk Hunt on 50K Acre of Private Land; Use Vehicles; Units 6, 16, 17, 171; 7-Day
You will be able to hunt four private ranches (55,000 acres) along with approximately one thousand acres of BLM land, reaching an altitude of well over 10,000 feet. Our elk hunts are fair chase, and the terrain and scenery are breathtaking. With only 36% of Jackson County being private property, pressured elk to seek out the protection of private lands for safety, which is where the majority of our hunting takes place. Our ranches are on the fringes of the timber and offer significant agriculture opportunities, making this prime free-range elk habitat very productive for our hunters. The elk herd stands at almost 20 bulls for 100 cow elk. The Colorado Department of Wildlife’s studies show this ratio is increasing, which means your opportunity for a bull is significantly higher than public lands throughout other parts of Colorado. In 2018, studies showed that the harvest success rate for all elk across the state was around 18%; in the last five years, our success rate was far better than the state average. Specifically, you will be hunting just outside of the towns of Rand and Coalmont, CO. Rand is located about 3 hours Northwest of Denver at the base of Parkview Mountain at the south end of the North Park Region of Colorado. Coalmont is located 25 miles to the west of Rand and sits at the Eastern end of the Rabbit Ears Pass. The North Park Region is surrounded by mountain crests of the Park Range, Medicine Bow Range, and Never Summer Range. This area offers open sagebrush country and willow flat marshes surrounded by aspen, fir, and pine forests, reaching elevations beyond the tree line. With breathtaking views of Parkview Mountain to the south, the Never Summer Mountain Range and the Continental Divide to the southeast, and the rugged Buffalo Peaks to the west, you will truly find your place in the world!

Boat-Based Alaska Black Bear Hunt, Spring
All of our hunts are fair chase and based from our vessel the Western Profit. For bear hunts, hunters and will be accompanied by one of our guides in skiffs to locate animals, and then put ashore for the stalk. In the Sitka area, Kuiu island has the highest density black bear population anywhere in Alaska. There is also a healthy population of wolves on the island, and it is not unusual for hunters to have an opportunity at a wolf during black bear hunts. In general, bear hunting is more relaxed than many other hunts. Typically the hunt will not begin until afternoon when things have warmed up a bit and bears are more active. So sleeping in is actually a thing on bear hunts! Typically a leisurely breakfast aboard the boat is followed up by a few hours of relaxing glassing where all manner of animals from bears, whales, deer, moose, sea otters, harbor seals, eagles, and any number of other species may be observed. Not to mention the amazing scenery that is southeast Alaska. Or if you’re lucky, go pull up a pot of crabs for lunch/dinner! Next comes lunch, which tends to be the heaviest meal of the day. After that, hunters and guides launch in the skiffs to begin the hunt. Hunting style, locales, and equipment differ between spring and fall, so we will break those out a bit more below. Like brown bears, Spring sees black bears emerging from their long hibernation in search of their first meal. They look for sedge grass flats along the edge of the water. Sedge grass stalks are spiky, wide, and stiff, but the sedge grass is up to 25% protein at this time of the year. Consuming large quantities of fresh sedge grass helps replenish the lack of proteins during hibernation and restart the digestive system. During the spring, hunters and guides will use skiffs to locate bears and do an initial evaluation on size, quality, and whether a stalk is possible based on current conditions and location. Once a potential bear is located, the real excitement begins as the guide works with the hunter to get on land to stalk close enough to get a better view and make a final decision on whether to harvest the bear. This can be extremely tricky as bears have an incredible sense of smell, and the slightest shift in the wind can alert the bear, who will then quickly disappear back into the arboreal rain forest. Because bears are more wary after emerging from the den in the spring, especially the big ones, archery hunting can be a real challenge. While it is not impossible to archery hunt brown bears in the spring, it is much more difficult than the fall when bears tend to congregate around salmon streams and are focused on putting on as much fat as possible to help them survive hibernation. Spring in Alaska is typically warmer than either the Fall or Winter, but it can still be chilly out on the water, and rain can definitely be a significant factor during the hunt. You may also run into warm sunny days, with chilly evenings during the return to the boat, so having the right gear will make all the difference in the world. The ability to β€œlayer up, layer down” and keep dry will make a big difference in both your comfort and your success. So make sure to have a look at the recommended gear listing below.

Western Illinois Free Range Whitetail Hunt - Archery Pre-Rut/Rut
The acres your hunt will take place on are very strictly managed. South Fork hunters are required to harvest at minimum 140 inch, 3 Β½ year old bucks. Having these practices in place for years has only made a good thing that much better. In addition to the doe’s that our hunters harvest, we take heard surveys that enable us to go through late season and remove doe’s in highly populated areas. As a whole – the areas you will be hunting have an excellent doe-to-buck ratio (2 or 3-to-1). Hunter to acre ratio is also very important. Low pressure is a huge part of harvesting mid-west whitetail deer. Here at South Fork, we keep ample ground for the numbers of hunters we run, with some farms not being hunted for entire seasons. This is all to ensure South Fork ground will remain the best of the best. We take stand location very seriously. This is crucial when getting close to giant Illinois bruisers. The wind and thermals are taken into consideration on every set. The stand set ups are for stealth entry and exits. Stand location is one of the biggest keys to a successful hunt- second only to having a piece of great managed whitetail ground. All stands are set by South Fork Guides that have years of experience and the bucks to prove it! The rule of thumb we live by is β€œif we wouldn’t hunt it, we won’t hang it!” We are as excited to get you into the stand that we hung, as you are to be in it. It’s like we are hunting with you. Our sets consist of hang–on’s with climbing sticks (20β€²-25β€²); ladder stands (16β€²-20β€²); shooting houses (7β€²-10β€²); and assorted ground blinds. We utilize over 70+ Shadowhunter Blinds to provide our gun hunters with a comfortable and solid shooting setup. We put you up close and personal, it’s just a matter of time before a big shooter reveals himself. All hunts are completely free range with no high fences in the β€œGolden Triangle” of Illinois- Pike, Adams, and Hancock counties. All South Fork properties provide the benefits of a long-standing Quality Deer Management Plan and uphold a Pope & Young deer scoring minimum of 140 inches or better. Trail cameras cover almost every property for the majority of the growing season giving you the chance to see a potential trophy before stepping foot in the woods. Field dressing services and deer transportation are provided by our guides if desired. Our guides will assist in meat & trophy care and preparation for shipping

Private Land, Central Florida Whitetail Hunt - 4 Day, includes two Wild Hogs!
Our Florida whitetail deer hunts are conducted on approximately 9,800 acres of private land. All land is quality managed and has been since the early 1930's. Clients are encouraged to harvest mature whitetails; however, we do follow the state of Florida rules and regulations minimum requirement of 3 points on one side for antlered deer. At Black Tine Outfitters we don't have second jobs, we maintain feeders, food plots, and mineral sites on a yearly basis. We believe this provides a valuable food source and helps in keeping a stable and healthy herd. Combined with over 40 years of experience hunting and guiding throughout the state of Florida, rest assured that Black Tine Outfitters can put you where the deer are. We offer several different hunting packages including whitetail deer and wild hog combo hunts. Everything from 2-day hunts to 5-day hunts. We utilize ladder stands, shooting houses, and ground blinds to ensure your safety is first priority. All transportation to and from hunting locations is provided, including extraction, cleaning, and quartering of harvested game. You will also find that we do not believe in trophy fees. Over the years we have had several clients harvest whitetails scoring in the mid 130 to low 140 class range with no additional trophy fees applied. Feel free to give us a call with any questions or concerns you may have. We are happy to accommodate your hunt any way we can. Thank you, and we look forward to meeting you. The Seminole whitetail can be very challenging. It is often compared to hunting its sub-species the coues deer to the west. Terrain is thick and oftentimes marshy. Florida's unpredictable climate combined with its extreme humidity can make the practice of quality scent control almost impossible. The rut season for the Seminole whitetail can also be very unpredictable as our seasonal temperatures can vary dramatically day to day causing the rut to inconsistently "turn on" and "turn off." Clients are encouraged to take their hunt seriously and apply the basic fundamentals of whitetail hunting to their hunt with us as harvesting a mature Seminole whitetail can be difficult but is also a well-respected trophy. The average 4 1/2 year old buck harvested on our farms typically scores between 100"-115" and will weigh approximately 145-170 lbs depending on the time of year.

Snipe Hunt on Large Florida Public Property
Snipe Hunting is just a practical joke, right? Well, not quite… at Fox Brown Outfitters Snipe Hunting actually exists. Snipe are small birds; brown, white, rust and black in color, with elongated beaks. The key to finding these birds is finding mud filled, wet, and dark soiled areas. Waterproof boots are essential for hunting snipe. Snipe hunting is regulated by the state and availability is controlled based on current conditions. Snipe are allowed to be harvested in Florida from November 1st, to February 15th, with an eight bird bag-limit. But don’t be fooled, it will be hard to tag out, these little birds fly fast, and as soon as you think you’ve got a shot, they dive, dip, and bolt the opposite direction! This hunt is for the sportsman looking for a challenge! This hunt includes lunch and the cleaning and packaging of your snipe. Shotguns may be rented and extra shells are available at an additional cost.

Year-Round Private South Florida Gator Hunt - 7' Range

Great Hog Hunt on Private, 2 Nights All Inclusive
If you’re a hunter in the south, you know that wild hogs have entirely taken over the land across the southeast. As a free-range property, we is no exception. By harvesting hogs throughout the year, more importantly, focusing on February through September (outside of regular hunting season), we have been able to put a dent in the population of this invasive species. Do you want to enjoy a fun vacation while managing an ever-growing wild hog population? We have you covered! With our exciting FREE Alabama Hog Hunts, you can satisfy your outdoor cravings while waiting for the Alabama deer season. From February through September, enjoy our comfortable accommodations and our notoriously great food, and hunt for your Alabama trophy boar or meat hogs at night and in the early morning and fish. We hunt over bait, and we have equipped our hog-infested areas with feeders that have motion-detector lights to allow you to get that perfect shot on a trophy hog. Our 6,000-acre plantation is a natural habitat for these animals, and they can quickly get out of control without proper management. This is why we offer hunters a chance to come to hunt our Alabama wild hogs for FREE, only having to pay for lodging and meals. Our FREE hog hunts include on-site lodging, meals, and no limit on the number of hogs you harvest. There are also no trophy fees or cleaning fees! This is an Alabama Hog Hunting experience like no other, as our guides have worked hard to find the perfect spots to set hunters up in areas with heavy signs of wild hog activity. Trophy Coues Deer Hunt in Arizona, Rifle Hunt, 1x1, Guiding But No Lodging
The Coues deer is the smallest species of the whitetail family and also known as the "Gray Ghost" of the desert. Since the Coues deer is so small, they will vanish before your eyes, even in the Arizona open terrain. Due to their natural predators within their habitat, Coues deer are always on edge. In order to hunt this elusive animal, a great pair of high power 15x binoculars with a tripod for glassing is a must. Make sure you are in good physically hiking condition to endure the rugged Arizona terrain. Rifle seasons are in October, November, and December. Late December these rutting bucks will be busy rut mode chasing other bucks away from their doe and will make the hunt somewhat easier. The rifle season will be cool to cold temperatures and the bucks can be up and about all day. You will mostly see them up in the mornings sunbathing and during the days bedded up in the shadows. Shots can be as close as 300 yards out to 800+ yards. Knowing this, the hunter must start practicing long range practice before the season starts. It would be wise to shoot with a bi-pod or shooting stick in different positionsβ€”you never know where that huge buck will appear and you must be ready. 6-day hunt

300 Acre Hunting Preserve Hog Hunt, 150-200 lbs
A guided spot and stalk hog hunt consists of 1 hunter on 1 guide or 2 hunters on 1 guide in the spot and stalk scenarios. The hunting preserve area is approximately 300 acres so be prepared for a little walking. There are stands and ambush points the guides can direct you to if a hunter isn’t physically able to walk. This is a challenging hog hunt that is great for introducing young or inexperienced hunters to the outdoors. The hog hunting guides will help teach guests how to maneuver through the woods undetected on well-worn game trails and the hog hunters will learn how to use the wind and patience on approach. We provide shooting sticks for rifle hunters. We allow hunters to choose their weapon of choice. While on a typical spot and stalk hog hunt your guide will predetermine a time for continental breakfast at the main lodge and then depart shortly afterward for the hunting grounds. We have had multiple hogs taken over the years on the way to the hunting location so the hunter could experience an added bonus. Once arriving to their hog hunting spots, the guide will then lead the way and help you stalk into your competent shooting range. This hog hunt is also great for large parties of hunters. The guides will safely divide the hunting area into zones and communicate together to help track moving boar and hopefully ensure success for their clients. After the hunt, the guides will load the hog or hogs and take them back to our processing facility so the meat can be prepared for transport or placed into our walk-in coolers until time for departure.
