Thermal Hog Hunt in Georgia, 5-Hour
By now you have probably seen thermal hog hunting videos of a group of gunners all in a line in a large agricultural field sighting in on a large group of hogs in front of them. If this is a hunt you’ve always wanted to do but have never tried, you’ve found the right place. The Gopher Plantation hog hunting guides have fine-tuned their thermal hunts to guarantee an opportunity at free-range hogs every hunt.
We conduct all of our thermal hog hunts on over 10,000 privately owned acres. We not only hunt the agricultural fields we also hunt in the woods over our feed sources and food plots. The Gopher Plantation staff plants over 200 acres of food plots for wildlife. Not only do our deer and turkey benefit from this but also our wild hog population. It’s not uncommon to find 4-6 groups of hogs on a 3-hour thermal hunt with us all while literally hunting out of our back door. You can add hours to your thermal hog hunt and increase the shooting opportunities.
If you don’t have any thermal equipment for hog hunting at night, no problem we have you covered. We have 10 guns set up with Pulsar thermal scopes and suppressors at your disposal. The guides also have 3 sets of Pulsar thermal binoculars to spot hogs throughout your hunt. We also provide shooting sticks, snacks, and a cooler with drinks so literally all you have to do is show up. If you have your own thermal night hunting equipment or have picked up some new toys and need a place to use them, feel free to bring them on your hunt as well.

Our South Texas free-roaming Nilgai hunts take place on over 15,000 acres of historic Yturria Ranch located in Kenedy and Willacy Counties on the Coastal Plains of South Texas. This area of South Texas is home to an incredible amount of Nilgai Antelope, Whitetail Deer, Javelina, and Rio Grande Turkeys. Hunts take place from December to April and are conducted in safari style with spot stalk tactics. All shots will be from the ground, from shooting sticks at an animal that we have stalked and is unaware of our presence. If you're interested in a real hunt, please take time to read the rest of the information about this most challenging animal to hunt in Texas.

90% Opportunity Rate Wild Turkey Hunt on Private Land in Georgia, 2-Day Hunt
As one of the most underrated forms of hunting, wild turkey hunts are ideal for those looking for a challenge. One of the best places to hunt this elusive bird is in Georgia, as we have one of the largest wild turkey populations in the United States, as well as one of the longest wild turkey hunting seasons.
Woods-N-Water offers wild turkey hunts and hunting trips on our private property. Which has a very large wild turkey population, including some real “longbeards.” In fact, many of the larger gobblers will weigh between 18-24 pounds, and have 10-12 inch beards!
Our hunters typically have a 90-95% harvest opportunity rate, meaning the overwhelming majority of them go home with a trophy gobbler and memories of a lifetime!

100% Opportunity Wild Hog Hunt on 10K Acre Private Ranch - RV or Camp Out
California is known for our trophy class wild boar, and the 360 Ranch is proud to boast one of the healthiest hog populations in Northern California.
Your day starts before sunrise as you and your guide travel through the ranch to a blind, stand, or lookout point. While many of our hunts involve spot and stalk, we always cater to each hunter's preference, providing options to hunt from a blind or stand - located in areas of heavy pig activity.
The 360 Ranch is one of the few ranches to also offer Texas-Style estate hunts in high-fenced preserve. Guided hunts take advantage of the entire 10,000 acre ranch plus the preserve. This ensures hunts are tailored to each guest's experience level and expectations.
In either case, you can expect to see 50+ pigs in a single day - ranging in size from less than 100 lbs. to well over 300 lbs. Weather you are looking for a mature boar with trophy-class tusks or a healthy "meat" pig, your guide will help evaluate the pigs you encounter on your hunt to ensure you harvest the type of animal you desire.

4-Day Combo Mule Deer & Antelope Hunt in Wyoming
Big Horn Outfitters offers excellent mule deer hunting opportunities in Wyoming Game and Fish regions: C & Y. We harvest excellent deer every year averaging between 150-165″, with many larger deer harvested each year. You can expect to see good numbers of animals and have opportunities at respectable bucks during your hunt.
For the most part, these hunts are only mildly physical and can be enjoyed by hunters of all ages and abilities. Success rates are generally 100% each year, the only hunters that haven’t harvested their deer, were looking for a specific animal simply chose not to take any others during their hunt. These deer hunts book up extremely fast, generally 2-4 years in advance and they all require 2 or more preference points to draw the tag in Wyoming.
The Montana tag is a general deer license and will currently take 1 point to draw. Mule deer/Antelope combination hunts are very popular among our hunters and allow you to experience two great types of hunt on a single trip. Generally, you’ll focus on the deer in the morning and evenings and hunt antelope during the middle of the day.

Southeast Alaska Mountain Goat Hunts, from a 78-Foot Yacht
Mountain Goats can be hunted across many locations in North America, but hunting these magnificent animals in the ice fjords of Southeast Alaska is in a class by itself. Whether it be the terrain, the weather, or the challenge of hunting these sure footed monarchs on their own rugged turf, a winter hunt for mountain goats will imprint memories of adventure that will surely last a lifetime.
Our goat hunts are conducted in November, which helps to ensure the trophy and hair quality is at its peak. These handsome animals will sport extended pantaloons, a flowing beard, long ebony horns, and an overall striking appearance that will sure to be the crown jewel of accomplishment in any hunters trophy room.
The size of a mountain goats horns are largely determined by the genetic makeup of that particular population, and fortunately for our hunters, Southeast Alaska holds some of the greatest genetic potential for any mountain goat population in North America. The largest of our Billies average over 9 inches, with an exceptional goat over 10 inches long with 6 inch bases being taken almost every year.
The terrain and topography in our hunting area is also very distinct from your more traditional goat hunting locations. Our hunts take place in the ice filled glacial fjords of southeast Alaska which provides a stunningly picturesque backdrop for your mountain hunting adventure. As the glaciers receded from the last ice age over the last 25,000 years, the subsequent geologic forces created deep glacial fjords with imposing mountains that rise near vertical out of the water. These forces served the effect of creating alpine conditions from sea level and upward. Therefore, the billy goats we will be hunting range from sea level and upwards of 2000 feet elevation, occasionally providing the opportunity to harvest a goat with a minimal amount of climbing.
While the majority of goat hunts in North America are conducted via tent and backpack, a hunt with Glacier Guides offers the extraordinary experience of the Alaskan Grandeur, our 78 foot luxury yacht serving as our basecamp. Each day, we will hunt from 18 foot skiffs to travel to the hunting area in search of a suitable Billy, via the spot and stalk method. Climbing is typically required to ensure success, with shots ranging from 150-400 yards.

Exotic Ram / Hog Combo Hunt - 2 Day, 1 Hog, 1 Ram
Many of our hunters choose the Ram/Hog Combo hunt. This hunt has its own challenges as the rams become very wary of hunting pressure. We try to keep a variety of rams on the ranch, such as Corsican, Texas Dall, Black Hawaiian, Angora, and Jacob Four Horn, just to name a few. Ram meat makes excellent sausage!
Our Ram/Hog Combo hunts can be very exciting for novice hunters as well as experienced hunters alike. Many of our novice or younger hunters choose to harvest their rams while sitting in one of our many ground blinds. This option offers the hunter a longer opportunity for better shot placement. However, spotting and stalking the rams during the midday hours is the method of choice for those wanting a more exciting and challenging hunt. While it is possible to get within close range of these animals, you should also be prepared for longer-range shots.

Trophy Dall Hunt Sheep in Perfect Habitat
Our Alaska Dall sheep hunt takes place primarily in the historically game rich country of the Central Range east of the Alaska Denali National Park. These Alaska hunting trips are ten days in duration and begin in early August and end on the 20th of September. Alaska has long been renowned as some of the most pristine and productive Dall Sheep habitat anywhere. The Sheep population has been steady and most of the hunters get their sheep with a little luck and a whole lot of hard work! The average Alaska Dall Sheep Ram is 35-36 inches long with 13’+ bases. We do typically take several Rams a year in the 38′-40’+ range. The Alaska Range Rams are known for their wide flaring and light colored horns and make a fine addition to any hunters trophy room.
A typical Sheep hunts entail riding up and down various drainages looking for a respectable Ram to go after. We like to tell hunters that they can expect to have a 5-7 hour, fairly arduous, climb from the time they leave the horses until they pull the trigger. The guide will cape and prepare the trophy and meat for the pack back to the horses. The guide will carry all the meat (100-120 lbs.) and we expect the client to carry the trophy (35lbs. for a shoulder mt. and 65-75 lbs. for a full body mt.) back to the horses. For this reason we require the client to bring a backpack of at least 3500 cu. in. capacity. Quite often we can hunt Alaska dall sheep right out of my two main camps but on occasion we will spike out for 2-5 days looking for a respectable ram to harvest.
When we do we’ll be staying in a good quality four season mountain tent and eating freeze dried food until we can add some fresh Alaska Dall Sheep to the menu. These hunts require the hunter to be both physically fit and have the mental toughness to stay positive when mother nature and the elements may seem to be conspiring against us. The horses allow us to cover an infinite amount of country as compared to backpack hunting for the Dall Sheep. If you have the right attitude and go get it spirit I am confident we can put you on the Alaska Ram of your dreams! PRICE doesn't include a $10,000 trophy fee.

Spring Guided Rio Grande Turkey Hunts, 2x1 (price is 2 hunters per day)
Hunt Southern Oregon for Rio Grande Turkey on the best ranches Douglas County has to offer. We manage over 25,000 acres to ensure your success. Spring turkey hunts take place from April 15th to May 31st. We almost always fill with our repeat guests, so book your hunts early. Hunts are all-inclusive and include lodging and dinner the night before your hunt, guiding, and turkey care. Not included are your license and tag, and transportation to Eugene or Roseburg.
Fin’s and Feather’s Guide Service is going on its 15th season guiding Rio Grande Turkey’s on some of the best ranches in Douglas County. In fact, Bob Toman, a Fin’s and Feather’s Guest harvested the number one Rio Grande Turkey in the State of Oregon in 2003. Our turkey hunts include meals, lodging, and field dressing. Each afternoon your guide will roost a flock of birds. The following morning you will arrive at the roost for a prime chance at your turkey. Should this hunt be unsuccessful you will spend the remainder of the day setting up and calling. You will not be asked to sit in a blind all morning or afternoon unless requested. Your guides are very accommodating and will strive to make your time with us a very memorable one. If you have any requests just ask and it shall be done.
Your stay with Fins and Feathers guide service will take place at the “ranch house”. The 4 bedroom 3 bath home is nestled in some of the most beautiful country that Douglas County has to offer. In the spring the surrounding hills and pastures are covered in fresh green grass. Oak trees covered in moss line the road to the lodge, among them you will find blooming daffodils in the spring and fall brings an array of autumn colors. No matter what season it is the setting is beautiful. The house has two televisions, one in the family room and the other in the master bedroom. The master bedroom has a separate entrance, deck, and hot tub.
Each morning a guide will wake you up and let you know how much time you have until your departure. Ronnie, Craig’s mom, or Becky, will do the majority of the cooking during your stay. Occasionally the staff at Applebee’s pitches in. Breakfast will be available along with coffee and other beverages. Meals are flexible and we do our best to accommodate your taste. Lunch is always available; however it will not always be served at the house. If you are with us during Turkey season we may be eating in town at lunch time because a lot of the hunting leases are a bit of a drive from the house. Dinner will be served each evening when your hunt is complete.
The house has two family rooms, one with the television and the other a fireplace and two couches. Everyone here at the house strives to make your stay a lasting memory. We all enjoy what we do and getting to know all our guests. If you find pleasure in walking, the roads on the ranch will be sure to satisfy you.

2x1 Arizona Pronghorn Antelope Hunt, 5-Day
We are pleased to offer hunting for trophy Arizona pronghorn antelope. It is no secret that Arizona pronghorn antelope are managed for older-age-class bucks with good genetics. What it lacks in quantity, it makes up in quality. In Arizona hunters are limited into the field by a drawing process which eliminates over harvest. This, in effect, produces a trophy-class herd.
That is why it is not uncommon to see a sixteen-inch or larger horn on an Arizona pronghorn within the quality units. A glance in the record books will show that this state has produced some of the best antelope bucks in the world! We hunt the open country and prairies of Central to Southern Arizona, so long distance shooting is a must. It is not uncommon to take rifle shots over 300 yards on antelope. We recommend a flat shooting rifle cartridge, a good high-power riflescope and a Harris mounted bipod. The spot and stalk hunting methods are mainly used for our rifle and muzzleloader hunts. Muzzleloaders should be Inline style with bipods and scopes.

RUT Rifle Couse Deer, 5-Day
Our outfit is pleased to offer quality hunting trips for the Coues Whitetailed Deer in southern Arizona near Tucson. The Coues Deer is considered one of the most prized and most challenging deer species for North American trophy hunters. This petite deer is the smallest huntable sub-species of the whitetailed deer and weighs between 70 - 100 lbs. dressed out. Mature bucks normally have 8 total points on the rack. The minimum Coues deer score for Pope and Young is 70 inches and the minimum score for Boone and Crockett is 110 inches. The Coues Whitetail is classified under a separate category in all record books because of its small, tight rack. Even the World's Record typical Coues deer (144-1/8" B&C taken by Ed Stockwell in 1953) would not make it into the Boone and Crockett book if scored and categorized under the Eastern whitetail standards.
That is the reason for the separate category for this unique deer species. Hunters that have taken all the species in the "deer slam" usually consider the Coues deer one of the most rewarding and most beautiful trophies. Our Coues hunts are conducted in the vast, rugged desert mountains of southeastern Arizona, with Tucson being the closest major city. The hunting technique for Coues deer involves choosing a good vantage point and spending hours glassing through high-powered binoculars and spotting scopes. The Coues bucks may be spotted over a mile away. Once a trophy Coues buck is located, the spot and stalk method is used to get within shooting range.
The canyons where Coues deer live are usually big and open. Rifle hunters should be prepared for shooting distances from 200 yards to 500 yards, if the need arises. Bow hunters typically take shots at ranges from 30 to 60 yards, since it is really open terrain. Because of the topography, high-powered riflescopes on top of lightweight flat-shooting rifles with a bipod are a "must have." Recommended rifle calibers are the .25-06 up to .300 Magnums. We do not recommend smaller calibers. Rifle season hunts are conducted during three timeframes, which are: late October, early November, and late December. Our Archery Coues hunts are conducted during the month of January when they are in full rut.
SUCCESS RATES: We are proud to say that many of our rifle Coues seasons have ended with a 100% success rate! Nearly all of our past Coues hunters have been presented with opportunity.

Many of our clients receiving top awards each year during the APHA/SCI program for top scoring Mt. Goat trophies. In Cordova, our goals have been to work with local area biologist, in harvesting selected areas for trophies by a permit system, with intent not to overharvest and focus on Billy harvest only. We strive to harvest Billie’s 8 1/2 inches or better. Our average has been 9 inches or better in recent years, with a few in the 11 inches class. We have 2 classes of Billie’s in our area, normally Billie’s weighing in 285 to 325 pounds and then we have “Buffalo Billie’s” weighing in at nearly 400 pounds, a bigger genetics Mt. Goat.
(Alces Alces-Latin Name) – Alaska-Yukon Moose is the largest of the moose family, weighing in at close to 1400 pounds and over 7 feet tall at the shoulders. The Cordova, Alaska area has been known for over 30 years as one of the top places in the world for record class Moose, with some of the top SCI record class Moose coming from this area. Over the past 30 years, we have placed in the top three 26 times in Alaska’s APHA/SCI awards program. Here at the TSIU Lodge we strive in taking 60 inches or better with our largest reaching 80 inches. If someone were to ask me, what the chances are of achieving a trophy class moose, I would say, yes the genetics are there. Remember, one of my goals as your professional hunter, is for you to achieve your trophy of course. But the most important goal for me as your professional hunter, is to conduct a safe, enjoyable, most of all, memorable safari adventure.

Kodiak Island Sitka Black-Tailed Deer Hunt
All Deer hunts are conducted 1X1 (one guide, one client) to ensure your ultimate success, with many cases, a packer is added for those extended missions. Deer can be hunted from a small cabin or spike camp from my guide use area on the south end of Kodiak Island. Spike camps are portable and removable to assure the best possible area to hunt. Each spike tent camp are 8’X8’ and are equipped with cots and heaters for your comfort. Deer hunting during August and September can find bucks up high on mountain ridges 500 to 1500 foot levels. But during the months of October, November you can find bucks in the low line areas and the foothills, which will make hunting much easier.
Once your trophy Deer is taken, it is then tagged, caped, meat is quartered and packed out to the extraction point. You are welcome to take your Deer meat back with you, and I can direct you to a local butcher in Kodiak City, that can process the meat for you. If you choose not to take your Deer meat back with you, the meat will be donated to local elders or local charity, never wasted. Once Deer cape and antlers are back at the spike camp, cape is fleshed, ears, lips, nose are turned, it is then salted. Trophies are normally shipped from lodge to my expeditor in Anchorage, at the end of the season.
(Odocoileus hemionus sitkensis -Latin Name) Sitka Black Tail Deer has a smaller rack than most deer species. They make up for the smaller rack size by being one of the most handsome species in the world. These thick, smaller deer have a dark, almost black forehead with a double white throat patch and rich chestnut colored antlers and beautiful black tipped tail. They are arguably the most hearty deer on the planet, thriving in one of the most unique and challenging habitats on earth. Most Sitka Black Tail Deer on Kodiak weight between 150 and 200 pounds.

Canada Goose Hunting in New Jersey - Half Day
Due to its large number of grain farms, southern New Jersey hosts some of the largest concentrations of Canada geese in the state. We are surrounded by large bodies of water that hold good concentrations of geese throughout the season. This water is both tidal and non tidal so freeze up is not a problem. Another bonus of hunting in New Jersey is the Canada Goose limits and seasons can be different from Delaware allowing more opportunities in the field.
We offer both Maryland and New Jersey Canada goose hunting during the September season. Both states can offer great hunting when conditions are right. Now that we are hunting two states it increases our chances to consistently put our clients on birds. Our two hunting areas in these two states are only an hour apart, we can easily scout both areas on a daily basis. Most of these resident birds are very vulnerable to good calling and decoys particuarly the juveniles.
We manage over 9 farms encompassing about 2200 acres in south Jersey and Marylands’ Eastern show which helps ensure no one farm is overgunned. These are all leased farms. All of our hunts are in bean, corn or wheat fields – a favorite of Canada geese. These three crops provide Canada geese the food they love and need throughout the gunning season.
Kevin Popo Guide Service also provides large spreads of today’s top-quality decoys. We use both Big Foot and Real Geese decoys to provide you with the best opportunity of harvesting Canada geese. Depending on the weather and field conditions, these realistic decoys can mean the difference betwwen a good or slow day especially on late season geese. All of our decoys are well maintained and new decoys are bought on an annual basis.
Both our New Jersey Canada goose hunting and Maryland Canada goose hunting is done from large, spacious and well-maintained pits. Our pits are all 16-20 ft long and 6 ft wide to ensure you stay dry and comfortable no matter how bad the weather. You haven’t experienced atrue Canda goose hunt until you have geese literally trying to landing on your head!!.
Some days world-class calling is the difference between a mediocre hunt and a limit hunt. We make the sounds (or notes) needed to have the birds landing right at your feet because we realize you are here to experience a memorable canada goose hunt not to listen to a great caller.

Arizona Monster Muley Rifle Hunt, 1x1, All-Inclusive
Arizona is known for its monster muleys. Not only does the Arizona Strip and the Kaibab hold monster mule deer but the high country and vast southern desert bucks hold some records too. The most abundant deer in Arizona is the Rocky Mountain Mule Deer. Mule deer are found on all terrains from the low southern deserts to high forested northern and eastern mountains. Generally these mule deer prefer the more rugged Arizona high country and southeastern areas.
Rifle seasons takes place in October, November, and December. In late November through December these bucks will be busy in pre rut and rut mode, chasing other bucks away from their doe and will make the trip even more rememberable. The rifle season will be cool to cold temperatures and the bucks can be up and about all day. Shots can be as close as 300 yards out to 800 yards. Knowing this, the hunter must start practicing long shooting distance before the season starts. It would be wise to shoot with a bi-pod or shooting sticks in different positions— you never know where that huge back will appear and you must be ready.

Mountain Goat Hunt on Baranof Island
Goat hunting requires us to go up into the mountains of Baranof Island where the goats live. It is definitely more strenuous than a bear hunt, but the views, and the experience, are well worth it!
Mountain Goat hunts are conducted in October and we will be camping at an altitude of around 3,000 feet. So hunters should expect to encounter some chilly temperatures during the hunt. Layered clothing appropriate for both hiking and extended periods glassing for goats will definitely be required, as will comfortable, and well broken in hiking boots. Time will be spent glassing for the right goat that is in an accessible location, both for the harvest, and the retrieval.

Coastal Brown Bear Hunt – 1on1 – rifle – 10 days
Alaska Brown Bear hunting is the ultimate in North American adventure! Alaska Brown bear guide George Siavelis now specializes exclusively on big brown bear hunting along Alaska’s Gulf Coast region. The streams in these areas receive heavy salmon runs, including all five pacific salmon species. The bears in these areas are as large as bears get anywhere in the world. Watching the largest carnivores on earth, aggressively hunting and catching salmon, often just 30 or 40 yards away, will get your blood pumping, and will not be forgotten easily. Hunting the great bears along these streams is very exciting in deed. A giant coastal brown bear is the ultimate trophy.
Alaska Brown bear hunting guide George Siavelis has a U.S. Forest Service Priority Use Permit in the Chugach National Forest, Cordova Ranger District. George lived, hunted, and trapped in the Alaskan bush year-round for many years and scouted many areas. George has chosen the best areas that he has found to hunt in. These game management units along the coast are indeed prime brown bear habitat and have very high densities of bears and produce some very large trophies. Recently, the Alaska Board of Game has been taking steps to deal with the higher brown bear populations in some of these areas!
George Siavelis is one of the very few Alaska Master Brown Bear Guides today, who is personally guiding every brown bear client. If you like the idea of knowing you will be guided in the field every day of your hunt by a lifelong Alaska Master Brown Bear Hunting Guide with decades of brown bear experience …then take a few moments to review the detailed information at this comprehensive site. Over the past 30 years, we have placed in the top three 26 times in Alaska’s APHA/SCI awards program. Here at the TSIU Lodge we strive in taking 60 inches or better with our largest reaching 80 inches. If someone were to ask me what the chances are of achieving a trophy class moose, I would say, yes the genetics are there. Remember, one of my goals as your professional hunter, is for you to achieve your trophy of course. But the most important goal for me as your professional hunter, is to conduct a safe, enjoyable, most of all, memorable safari adventure.
Brown Bear: Once your trophy bear is taken, it is tagged, skinned peeled and then packed out to the extraction point. Once Brown Bear hide and skull are back at the lodge, it is fleshed, ears and lips are turned, along with knuckles and tail out, it is then salted. Trophies are normally shipped from lodge to my expeditor in Anchorage, at the end of my spring season.
With the abundance of a rich food source at the Tsiu, the Brown Bears naturally grow big. We have taken many 10 foot plus bears over the year with many skulls over 28 plus. At the Tsiu, we hunt Brown Bears April through May and September through October. The Tsiu area permits each hunter to harvest one Brown each regulatory year, which does not count against the harvest of one (l) Brown every (4) years, like in other parts of Alaska.
(Ursus Arctos- Latin Name) With the abundance of a rich food source in the Cordova area, such as Salmon, Moose, Mt Goats and unlimited sea life along the coast, the Brown Bears can reach weights of up to 1500 pounds. Here at the Cordova area, we hunt Brown Bears April through May and September through October. My guide use area near Cordova consist of several land owners, such as Chugach National Forest Service, BLM and State of Alaska lands, in which I am fully permitted for to conduct guide hunts. This guide use area that we hunt on, permits each hunter to harvest one Brown each regulatory year, which does not count against the harvest of one (l) Brown every (4) years, like in other parts of Alaska (like Kodiak Island and Alaskan Peninsula). Here at the Tsiu River Lodge we strive to take male brown bear 9 foot or larger and have taken many bears 10 foot plus over the year with many skulls over 28 plus, with some over 29 inches. Remember, one of my goals as your professional hunter, is for you to achieve your trophy of course. But the most important goal for me as your professional hunter, is to conduct a safe, enjoyable, most of all, memorable safari adventure.
Once your trophy Mt. Goat is taken, it is then tagged, skinned peeled, quartered and packed out to the extraction point. You are welcome to take your Mt. Goat meat back with you, and I can direct you to a local butcher in Cordova, that can process the meat for you. If you choose not to take your Mt. Goat meat back with you, the meat will be donated to a local elders or local charity in Cordova, never wasted. Once Mt. Goat hide and horns are back at the lodge, hide is fleshed, ears, lips, nose, tail are turned and hooves knuckles are out, it is then salted. Trophies are normally shipped from lodge to my expeditor in Anchorage, at the end of October.
(Oreamnos Americanus-Latin Name) Cordova Mt. Goat population is one of the healthiest in the state of Alaska. With some of our horn genetics being one of the best in Alaska. Many of our clients receiving top awards each year during the APHA/SCI program for top scoring Mt. Goat trophies. In Cordova, our goals have been to work with local area biologist, in harvesting selected areas for trophies by a permit system, with intent not to over harvest and focus on Billy harvest only. We strive to harvest Billie’s 8 1/2 inches or better. Our average has been 9 inches or better in recent years, with a few in the 11 inches class. We have 2 classes of Billie’s in our area, normally Billie’s weighting in 285 to 325 pounds and then we have “Buffalo Billie’s” weighing in at nearly 400 pounds, a bigger genetics Mt. Goat.

Spot and Stalk Trophy Black Bear Hunts, No Bait, No Dogs (2x1)
We are pleased to offer a unique fall season bear hunting experience in southern Arizona, primarily within the Coronado National Forest. When searching for black bear hunts, many people would not ever think to look to Arizona. But, from recent experiences and publicity, more and more hunters are coming to realize that this State can provide some of the best trophy black bear hunting in the West. A glance at recent entries in the record books will show that Arizona has produced many "book" black bears. It is considered a top choice for record-class bear hunting.
Though the quantity of black bears in Arizona is not high by anyone's standards, the quality of the bears (whether it be color, body size, or record book potential) is why many hunters choose Arizona for their bear hunt. The Arizona black bear comes in all color varieties (commonly referred to as "color phases"). Colors range from blonde, cinnamon, chocolate, to coal black. Seventy-five percent of the bears we have harvested over the past couple decades have been colored with chocolate brown being dominant.
Arizona black bears live in the thick timber at higher elevations most of the year, but during the months of August through October (our typical hunting season) some bears come out of the high country in search of fat-building food sources. Bears have a very large home range and have been known to travel as far as 100 miles to find isolated pockets of food. This always keeps us "on our toes" trying to locate them before hunting season. Some Arizona black bears travel to the lower desert elevations of their mountain ranges looking for prickly pear cactus fruit, which is very sweet and high in calories. This phenomenon is often called "Bears in the Pears." Southern Arizona bears are typically in the pears during our August Archery-Only season.
Bears may also travel to areas with a high concentration of acorns, juniper berries, mesquite beans, or manzanita berries during times when they are not eating pears, which is typically during the October General season (General = firearms or other legal weapons for bear). What the bears are feeding on dictates where and how we hunt. Our bear hunts are "fair chase" in the purist form! Although every one of our big game hunts can be considered challenging, this is considered the most challenging hunt that we offer. Dogs or bait are not used on this hunt.
We use two main techniques to harvest our bears, the spot-and-stalk method and the calling method. As a primary hunting technique, we hike to a good vantage point where a few square miles of terrain can be seen at one time. When a bear is amongst the sparse vegetation, it can be observed at very long distances using high-powered binoculars. We occasionally spot bears up to 2 miles away since it is such a vast area. Once a good bear is spotted, we plan our stalk. Rifle shots can sometimes be across big canyons, so a Harris bipod, good high-power riflescope, and a big, flat-shooting caliber is recommended. Lightweight rifles are also needed in this very rough terrain.

Combo Mouflon Sheep, Wild Hog, and Wild Goat Hunt on Big Island
Mouflon Sheep, Mouflon Hybrid Sheep, Pigs, and Goats are available for harvest on Parker Ranch guided hunting tours. The hunt fee allows you to harvest all 3 big game species. Ram and Billy trophy fees apply. Firearms and ammunition are provided free of charge. Archery hunters will need to provide their own equipment. Lunch, drinks, and snacks are provided. Calls will be answered by one of the Hunting Guides.
Mouflon and Mouflon Hybrid Mouflon Sheep are the most prized mammal species on the island of Hawaii. They have exceptional eyesight and an awareness to stay just beyond the effective distances of Archery or Rifle Hunting. Trophy rams have been harvested with horns above 35 inches in length. One ram is allowed per hunt with trophy fees for rams above 25 inches of horn length. Smaller rams below 25 inches of horn length carry the standard harvest fee.
Goats have made a home for themselves on all parts of the island. They tend to be less wary than Mouflon Sheep making them an easier target via bow. One Billy is allowed per hunt. Large males can have impressive sweeps and curls in their horns with long beards and heavily muscled front quarters. The standard $500 harvest fee applies for a Billy up to 30″ of horn length. A Billy above 30″ of horn length will carry a trophy fee that replaces the harvest fee.
Frequently nocturnal in nature, pigs on Parker Ranch can routinely be spotted feeding during cool periods of the day allowing for pigs to be harvested with a bow or rifle via spot and stalk. Boars have been harvested with knife like sharpened tusks bright white in color and over 5 inches in length. Course hair, sharp tusks, a protective shield, and their aggressive demeanor make for an exciting hunt.

300 Acre Hunting Preserve Hog Hunt, <100 lbs
A guided spot and stalk hog hunt consists of 1 hunter on 1 guide or 2 hunters on 1 guide in the spot and stalk scenarios. The hunting preserve area is approximately 300 acres so be prepared for a little walking. There are stands and ambush points the guides can direct you to if a hunter isn’t physically able to walk. This is a challenging hog hunt that is great for introducing young or inexperienced hunters to the outdoors. The hog hunting guides will help teach guests how to maneuver through the woods undetected on well-worn game trails and the hog hunters will learn how to use the wind and patience on approach. We provide shooting sticks for rifle hunters. We allow hunters to choose their weapon of choice.
While on a typical spot and stalk hog hunt your guide will predetermine a time for continental breakfast at the main lodge and then depart shortly afterward for the hunting grounds. We have had multiple hogs taken over the years on the way to the hunting location so the hunter could experience an added bonus. Once arriving to their hog hunting spots, the guide will then lead the way and help you stalk into your competent shooting range. This hog hunt is also great for large parties of hunters. The guides will safely divide the hunting area into zones and communicate together to help track moving boar and hopefully ensure success for their clients. After the hunt, the guides will load the hog or hogs and take them back to our processing facility so the meat can be prepared for transport or placed into our walk-in coolers until time for departure.

Epic Grouse Hunting in Utah (Single Hunter)
Utah hunts are offered on a limited basis in October. We offer Blue and Ruffed grouse hunts as well as some chukar. The hunts are based on permit availability for the various National Forest areas of Utah, but we primarily conduct hunts near Spanish Fork or Heber city Utah.
These hunts are challenging and at elevations ranging from 7000 to 10000 feet above sea level. The hiking is a little tough, but all worthwhile when a big Blue gets up.
If you decide to hunt chukar, be prepared. As they say, you hunt them once for sport and every other time is for revenge.

2x1 Javelina Hunt, 3-Day, Spot & Stalk, No Bait
Southern Arizona is home to the Javelina. Hunting seasons for this critter are during January through February. Javelina can be one of the most enjoyable game animals to hunt in Arizona. They are not pigs, nor are they even in the pig family. They are peccaries. Javelina are gregarious animals that live in a tight-knit family group of around 5 to 15 animals. The javelina groups are territorial with a home range of about a square mile and a half.
The common name is the "collared peccary" because of a white ring of hair that circles the neck region. Javelina appear to be larger than they really are, but in actuality, they only weigh 35-60 pounds dressed-out. Javelina offer a very challenging hunt for the bowhunter, handgun hunter, crossbow hunter, muzzleloader hunter or even rifle hunter. Spot and stalk is the technique we use to hunt these unique animals. Our guides use high-powered optics to locate a herd. Javelina are low to the ground and blend into their surroundings very well, so they can often be a challenge to locate amongst the gray desert scrub.
Once a group of peccary is located, a stalk can be planned. Hunters must keep the wind in their favor when making a stalk and be extremely quiet in order to get within a desired shooting distance. Because of their large canines, javelina make nice open-mouth mounts. If you are successful, a full-body mount of a snarling peccary (javelina) can be a very unique trophy. The meat from javelina is often made into sausage. Our favorite is jalapeno and cheese summer sausage or chorizo! Archery javelina hunts in January can be combined with archery Coues deer.

5-Day August Black Bear Hunt in Cardova
(Ursus Americanus- Latin Name) With plenty of food near the coastal areas of Cordova, our Black Bear have always been plentiful in the Cordova area, both during the spring and fall hunts. As always, we have goals, trying to achieve 6 foot or better, with an occasional 8 footer taken. Black Bear hunts are conducted 1X1 (one guide, one client) to ensure your ultimate success. But many times it’s a great starter hunt for the new young hunter to compatibility their parents or guardian.
Depending on where you are hunting in the Cordova area, both client and guide are transported by the use of small aircraft the day before your hunt begins. Each Black Bear spike camp is portable and removable to assure the best possible area to hunt. Each spike camp tent is 8’X8’ or larger and is equipped with cots and heaters for your comfort. Again, Black Bear habitat varies from high covered snow peaks of their denning areas to the coastal grass areas during April, May and June.
During the fall, most bears are hunted where berries are plentiful, either high up in the mountainous hillsides or low coastal areas where sometimes berries are thick. Once your trophy is taken, and it is then tagged, skinned and peeled, the meat is quartered and packed out to the extraction point. You are welcome to take your Black Bear meat back with you, and I can direct you to a local butcher in Cordova, that can process the meat for you. If you choose not to take your Black Bear meat back with you, the meat will be donated to local elders or local charity in Cordova, never wasted. Once the Black Bear hide and skull are back at the lodge, hide is fleshed, ears, lips, nose, tail is turned and knuckles are out, it is then salted. Trophies are normally shipped from lodge to my expeditor in Anchorage, at the end of the season.

1x1 Guided Merriam's Turkey Hunt
The turkeys we hunt are primarily in remote areas and live many miles from human civilization. Unlike Nebraska or other transplant States, these are truly "wild turkeys." They live in their natural forested, mountain habitat with no food plots, no farm fields, no feeders or other human influence. Since Merriam's are mountain dwelling turkeys, our hunts take place in the Ponderosa Pine forests at elevations around 6500 to 8500 feet. The mountainous hunt area has breathtaking scenery and great temperatures of around 75 degrees in the day and 40 degrees at night. Arizona Shotgun Spring Season Merriam's turkey tags are on a lottery draw. We typically hunt for northern Arizona Merriam's turkey within public land, such as the Coconino National Forest.
These are fully-guided turkey hunts. Hunters are led into the field daily by an experienced Merriam's turkey guide in order to provide the highest chances for success. Our guides are very familiar with the area, terrain, where the birds hang-out, and more importantly, the techniques needed to effectively hunt native mountain Merriam's turkeys. We conduct 1-on-1 and 2-on-1 turkey hunts, but to increase odds of harvesting, each hunter should consider having their own guide. If choosing 2-on-1, it is a requirement that you bring the other hunter to share the guide with. If you cannot find a hunting partner, you will have your own personal guide and get the 1-on-1 rate. We keep camp sizes to a minimum to ensure the utmost quality of the hunting experience.
Northern Arizona is home to the Merriam’s wild turkey, whereas southern Arizona is where the Gould's turkey resides. Historically, the Merriam's turkey was only found in 3 states: Arizona, New Mexico, and Colorado. Merriam's have been transplanted from these three states to many parts of the country, but a unique place to hunt them is in their indigenous area. Arizona turkeys are wild and native birds. This is where the Merriam's originated, so they are pure. There is no hybridization in our areas like some other areas of the country that offer Merriam's turkey hunting.
Characteristics: The bright colors of the Arizona Merriam's turkey will amaze hunters that are only familiar with the other turkey subspecies. Merriam's have a cream-white accent on the outer edge of the tail feathers and rump, unlike the Eastern, Osceola, and Rio Grande turkeys (Gould's typically have pure white). It's light colored tail tips are an intermediate between the tan Rio's and the white Gould's. The primary wing feathers are mostly white with small black accent bars (the opposite is true with the wing barring on the other 3 sub-species).

3-Specials Wild Quail Hunt in Arizona (Price Per Gun, 2 Gun Minimum)
Arizona is our bread and butter. It’s where we started, where we live, train, and scout the most. Our Arizona upland hunts are primarily based in Southern Arizona and we focus on the three species of quail located there - Gambels, Scaled, and Mearns quail.
We also conduct some hunts in northern and central Arizona as requested, but those are only for Gambels quail. We will recommend a lodging location based on the species you desire to hunt. Arizona is our home turf. All of our guides are local to the area and know this quail country extremely well. We spend more time scouting and finding new pockets of birds than any other service in the area. Our Arizona quail hunts are second to none.
If you desire the “Arizona quail Slam” (All three species) we are happy to accommodate that as well.

Fully Guided Mule Deer, 5-Night
This is a five night hunt. You provide your license, personal gear, and prefered method of hunting. We will help with all of the remaining details. Our ratio is one guide per two hunters.
Hunters should expect a minimum of 2 hours in the saddle on all of our hunts. Most early season hunt camps are set at timberline (11,400 feet), or higher. Once we reach main camp, hunters can walk out of the tents to hunt, or choose to hike or ride horseback to a further destination.

300 Acre Hunting Preserve Hog Hunt, 250-300 lbs

European-Style Tower Shoot, Lunch Provided
While the majority of our hunts are behind pointing or flushing dogs, tower shoots, or continental shoots, are also very popular at Markover. Twelve stations, or buts, are positioned at various distances surrounding the central tower. Each station, containing 2 shooters, is arranged to keep the visibility of the tower at a bare minimum, if at all.
Birds are released from the central tower, 6-7 at a time, and fly full speed over the tree tops creating an extremely challenging shot for even the most seasoned shooter.
The shooters rotate stations after an equal number of birds have been released so that everyone has an opportunity to shoot at that day's hot stations.
Halfway through the day we break for a hearty lunch at the lodge. Following lunch we head back to the fields for the remaining afternoon portion of the shoot.
Springers, Labs and Goldens along with their handlers retrieve the downed birds as the shoot progresses.
All birds are evenly divided between the shooters at the end of the day and can be traded for cleaned birds for a small fee.
No ammo restrictions
No hunting license required (in-state and out-of-state)
Two shooters per station
Safety glasses and hearing protection is advised
Please wear outdoor clothing including all terrain boots and either a hunter orange hat or vest
Minimum age is 13 years old
A lunchtime meal is served prior to second half of shoot
All birds are evenly divided between shooters at day's end
Birds traded/cleaned for a small fee
Bring a cooler to take birds home.

Year-Round Private South Florida Gator Hunt - 8' Range
Gator hunting, for many, is a misunderstood tradition. It's far from just trophies. It's about ensuring the health of Florida's environment and its inhabitants—also putting some incredible meat in the fridge. Alligators, once driven to the brink of extinction, have made a remarkable comeback. But to maintain this balance, population management like hunting is necessary.
Gator hunting tactics vary based on the type of gator hunting we're doing. On private property we use rifles Regardless of the type of hunt, our main focus is ensuring you have a safe and unforgettable experience. These are spot and stalk hunts.

2x1 Aoudad Hunt in Davis Mountains - 4 Day, All Inclusive
These Free-Range Fair Chase Aoudad Sheep Hunts take place in the Davis Mountains in West Texas on some of the largest ranches with a combined acreage of more than 750,000 acres. The properties have large populations of Aoudad Sheep and have placed many entries into the SCI Free Range Category, including 3 in the top 25. This is by no coincidence. Only certain regions of West Texas have the superior genetics to produce record book Aoudad Sheep, which the ranches have proven many times. Property size with proper management and allowing rams with the right genetics to reach 10-14 years of age is key to producing record book Aoudad.

The 90,000-acre island of Lana’i is home to the highest density of free-range Axis deer in the world. After a rewarding day in the field, unwind in luxurious accommodations, savor gourmet dining, or indulge in rejuvenating spa treatments. Exclusive rates are available at the Four Seasons Resort Lana’i and Sensei Lana’i, in conjunction with a Pineapple Brothers hunt.

Oklahoma’s Premier
Whitetail Deer Hunting Experience - Muzzleloader
Stuart Ranch offers some of the most elite whitetail hunting in Oklahoma. Our ranch is privately owned and intensively managed, and offers a wide-open approach to deer hunting. You can expect large cereal grain ag fields, wildlife food plots, native pecan creek bottoms, and mesquite tree flats. The ranch can accommodate bow, muzzle-loader, and rifle hunters.
The presence of quality genetics and trophy-caliber bucks on the ranch proves the immense level of pride we take in managing our deer herd. Deer thrive on the ranch, and in some cases, you can see 25+ deer in a single hunt.
We’re always working to create a better environment for mature trophy whitetail so that you can score a successful hunt. We have been partnering with the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife to find our optimum buck-to-doe ratio. Each year, we proudly implement ODWC's doe management program, which allows us to manage our doe herd and keep the ranch’s buck-to-doe ratio in check.

Boat-Based Alaska Brown Bear Hunt, Spring
All of our hunts are fair chase and based from our vessel the Western Profit. For bear hunts, hunters will be accompanied by one of our guides in skiffs to locate bears, and then put ashore for the stalk. In the Sitka area, on Baranof and Chichagof islands, have some of the highest brown bear populations in the world.
The brown bear represents the spirit of Alaska, especially in Sitka. Strength & Untamed. This is the ultimate challenge for hunters looking for a True Fair chase hunt in Southeast Alaska’s Tongass National Forest. Our Brown bear hunt is exclusive for two (2) hunters per 10 day trip. One on one – one guide per hunter, ensuring optimum success for each hunter. Individual hunter success for the last five years has been 85%-100%! Brown, Grizzlies and Kodiaks were once thought to be separate sub-species; however, it is generally agreed now that they are the same species. The Brown bear, so named because he lives within 50 miles of the sea and usually supplements his diet with Salmon, is much larger than the inland grizzly. The Brown Bear is the largest land carnivore on earth, although there is some dispute over his cousin the Polar Bear, which spends the bulk of his life on ice flows. Admiralty, Baranof, and Chichagof Islands in Southeast Alaska have the densest populations of Brown Bear in the world.
In general, bear hunting is more relaxed than many other hunts. Typically, the hunt will not begin until afternoon when things have warmed up a bit and bears are more active. So sleeping in is actually a thing on bear hunts! Typically a leisurely breakfast aboard the boat is followed up by a few hours of relaxing glassing, where all manner of animals from bears, whales, deer, sea otters, harbor seals, eagles, and any number of other species may be observed. Not to mention the amazing scenery that is Southeast Alaska. Or if you’re lucky, go pull up a pot of Dungeness crab for lunch/dinner! Next comes lunch, which tends to be the heaviest meal of the day. After that, hunters and guides launch in the skiffs to begin the hunt. Hunting style, locales, and equipment differ between spring and fall, so we will break those out a bit more below.
Spring sees brown bears emerging from their long hibernation in search of their first meal in many months. They look for sedge grass flats along the edge of the water. Sedge grass stalks are spiky, wide, and stiff, but the sedge grass is up to 25% protein at this time of the year. Consuming large quantities of fresh sedge grass helps replenish the lack of proteins during hibernation and restart the digestive system.
During the spring, hunters and guides will use skiffs to locate bears and do an initial evaluation on size, quality, and whether a stalk is possible based on current conditions and location. Once a potential bear is located, the real excitement begins as the guide works with the hunter to get on land to stalk close enough to get a better view and make a final decision on whether to harvest the bear. This can be extremely tricky as bears have an incredible sense of smell, and the slightest shift in the wind can alert the bear, who will then quickly disappear back into the arboreal rain forest.
Because bears are more wary after emerging from the den in the spring, archery hunting can be a real challenge. While it is not impossible to archery hunt brown bears in the spring, it is much more difficult than the fall when bears tend to congregate around salmon streams and are focused on putting on as much fat as possible to help them survive hibernation.
While Spring in Alaska is typically warmer than either the Fall or Winter, it can still be chilly out on the water, and rain can definitely be a significant factor during the hunt. You may also run into warm sunny days, with chilly evenings during the return to the boat, so having the right gear will make all the difference in the world. The ability to “layer up, layer down” and keep dry will make a big difference in both your comfort and your success. So make sure to have a look at the recommended gear listing below.

4-Day Whitetail Deer Hunts (Private Land)
Few people think of Wyoming as a trophy whitetail location, but if the sheer number of deer you see in a single day isn’t enough, the size of the bucks will be. Big Horn Outfitters consistently produces some of the largest whitetails harvested in Wyoming.
Unlike many outfitters, whitetails are not a second thought at BHO. We spend a significant amount of time scouting and managing our ranches to produce the biggest bucks and some of the best whitetail deer hunting you’ve ever seen. BHO is proud to offer very high success rates on whitetail hunts and we regularly harvest whitetails in the 130″ to 155″ range each year.
