Not only will coyote hunting get your adrenaline going as they quickly come running into the call, but it also helps the local deer, hog, and turkey populations. We have access to thousands of acres right here in south Florida to try to slow down the coyote problem which is taking over much of the united states. Arizona Guided Hunts also offers hunting options for the desert mule deer, primarily in southern Arizona. Mule deer hunting in Southern Arizona can provide a great opportunity for the first-time mule deer hunter or the hunter wanting a true desert mule deer to complete their slam. If you need your desert mule deer for the slam, this is a very unique and exciting hunting experience amongst desert terrain. Although there is potential to harvest bucks with larger racks, the mature Arizona desert mule deer bucks that we typically harvest in our hunt areas have racks from 18 to 25 inches wide and have 3 to 5 points per side. Considering this is the desert, deer densities cannot be high in such a dry environment. But, our guides have mastered the techniques and have done their scouting homework so that our hunters can see a significant number of deer, again, considering it is the desert. Our hunting style is the spot and stalk method. We hike to a good vantage point where a couple square miles can be seen at one time. Most of our mule deer hunting is done with our eyes through tripod-mounted optics. Once a good mule deer buck is spotted, we make our move from the vantage point for the final stalk. The terrain is very open, therefore rifle shots are usually over 300 yards and archery shots might exceed 50 yards. There may be a great deal of hiking involved, so hunters are encouraged to condition themselves to the best of their ability before arriving. Opportunities have been 100% for rifle desert mule deer hunts with an extremely high success! Opportunities to release arrows on archery mule deer hunts is extremely high!

2x1 Guided Merriam's Turkey Hunt

The turkeys we hunt are primarily in remote areas and live many miles from human civilization. Unlike Nebraska or other transplant States, these are truly "wild turkeys." They live in their natural forested, mountain habitat with no food plots, no farm fields, no feeders or other human influence. Since Merriam's are mountain dwelling turkeys, our hunts take place in the Ponderosa Pine forests at elevations around 6500 to 8500 feet. The mountainous hunt area has breathtaking scenery and great temperatures of around 75 degrees in the day and 40 degrees at night. Arizona Shotgun Spring Season Merriam's turkey tags are on a lottery draw. We typically hunt for northern Arizona Merriam's turkey within public land, such as the Coconino National Forest. These are fully-guided turkey hunts. Hunters are led into the field daily by an experienced Merriam's turkey guide in order to provide the highest chances for success. Our guides are very familiar with the area, terrain, where the birds hang-out, and more importantly, the techniques needed to effectively hunt native mountain Merriam's turkeys. We conduct 1-on-1 and 2-on-1 turkey hunts, but to increase odds of harvesting, each hunter should consider having their own guide. If choosing 2-on-1, it is a requirement that you bring the other hunter to share the guide with. If you cannot find a hunting partner, you will have your own personal guide and get the 1-on-1 rate. We keep camp sizes to a minimum to ensure the utmost quality of the hunting experience. Northern Arizona is home to the Merriam’s wild turkey, whereas southern Arizona is where the Gould's turkey resides. Historically, the Merriam's turkey was only found in 3 states: Arizona, New Mexico, and Colorado. Merriam's have been transplanted from these three states to many parts of the country, but a unique place to hunt them is in their indigenous area. Arizona turkeys are wild and native birds. This is where the Merriam's originated, so they are pure. There is no hybridization in our areas like some other areas of the country that offer Merriam's turkey hunting. Characteristics: The bright colors of the Arizona Merriam's turkey will amaze hunters that are only familiar with the other turkey subspecies. Merriam's have a cream-white accent on the outer edge of the tail feathers and rump, unlike the Eastern, Osceola, and Rio Grande turkeys (Gould's typically have pure white). It's light colored tail tips are an intermediate between the tan Rio's and the white Gould's. The primary wing feathers are mostly white with small black accent bars (the opposite is true with the wing barring on the other 3 sub-species).

In the spring the surrounding hills and pastures are covered in fresh green grass. Oak trees covered in moss line the road to the lodge, among them you will find blooming daffodils in the spring and fall brings an array of autumn colors. No matter what season it is the setting is beautiful. The house has two televisions, one in the family room and the other in the master bedroom. The master bedroom has a separate entrance, deck, and hot tub. Each morning a guide will wake you up and let you know how much time you have until your departure. Ronnie, Craig’s mom, or Becky, will do the majority or the cooking during your stay. Occasionally the staff at Applebee’s pitches in. 2M Hunting offers blacktail deer hunting trips on the central coast of California in San luis Obispo Monterey and San Benito Counties. Our ranches range from rolling oaks to steep rocks and open grasslands. Hunters can expect to see 5 to 10 bucks per day. Big Horn Outfitters offers excellent mule deer hunting opportunities in Wyoming Game and Fish regions: C & Y. We harvest excellent deer every year averaging between 150-165″, with many larger deer harvested each year. You can expect to see good numbers of animals and have opportunities at respectable bucks during your hunt. This helps insure trophy animals for next season and insures that any animal that is legal is a real trophy. It should be said that many hunters feel a moose is a “gimme” animal. This is not the case. Nor is it the case that a bull needs to be 60 inches wide to be a great trophy. The media has promoted this idea to the extent that they have taken something away from the sport of moose hunting. The first bull I ever killed was a young bull standing at 18 yards that I took with a bow on the first day of my first trip. The second bull I killed was a beautiful 56 inch bull that I shot with a .300 Win Mag at less than 100 yards on the second day of my second trip. Not all hunts are that easy. Be assured, a legal bull is a huge animal and to fill your moose tag in the wilds of Alaska will be a feat you will remember for the rest of your life. I recommend a minimum caliber of 30-06 for moose. The shots on moose are typically less than 100 yards. When you are planning a trip like this, it makes a lot of sense to be well practiced at further distances also. A 30-06 is a great weapon for any of the animals you may include on this hunt on a trophy fee basis. Trophy fee options will be applicable only if the Alaska State Game Regulations have open seasons for the species. Unless other arrangements are made, I will be your guide. In a perfect world, an employee would care about the business as much as the owner. Unfortunately, we don't live in a perfect world. I do all of my own guiding unless other arrangements are made. It is comforting for you to know that the guy who is cashing your check (me) is the same guy who will accompany you in the field (me). I put my reputation on the line every time I cash a check.

RUT Firearms Bull Elk Hunt, 6-Day

We offer elk hunting primarily on the Coconino National Forest with Flagstaff being the closest major city (sometimes other areas on a case by case basis). The most popular elk hunting timeframe is during the rutting season when bulls and cows are vocal. We conduct an archery rut hunt from mid to late September and an early firearms/muzzleloader rut hunt at the end of September through early October. This is the main part of the rut, so there is usually nonstop action on these hunts. Bulls can fall victim to a call during this timeframe. Nothing gets the blood pumping more than hearing a monster bull elk answer your guide's calls. If luck is on your side, the bull might come charging in for an opportunity to release an arrow. Our archery and early muzzleloader or early rifle elk hunts are conducted mostly in higher timber elevations of 7000 to 8500 ft. Even though hunting is done in September and October, the weather during these hunts are very enjoyable. It can range from 65-75 degrees in the day to 35-45 degrees at night. Complimentary accommodations are in tent camps or camping trailer, depending upon the number of hunters in camp and feasibility. The camp and the hunt area is accessed by SUV or truck and hunting is done on foot. In most cases, elk live in mountainous terrain, so hunters should be physically prepared. Hunters are encouraged to condition themselves to the best of their ability in order to increase their odds for success. If you are looking for a horseback hunt, this is NOT the hunt for you. These three early hunts are placed during the rut when elk are vocal.

Florida Gator Hunt

Our hunts normally start out between 9-10 a.m unless otherwise scheduled to take place earlier/later. Upon arrival we will meet up with you and discuss what size gator you're after, and make sure each person participating in the hunt has obtained the proper licensing needed. After going over the details of the hunt and getting each participants waiver signed, we then head out to do a spot-and-stalk type hunt. We will be hunting by foot and using 4x4 side by sides to hunt from. Once we have located the right size gator you‘re after we’ll use offshore style fishing rods to snag the gator with a treble hook, and hand the rod off the hunter to fight the gator up to the bank. From there on out it is up to you to collect your trophy by using a bangstick, handgun, bow, etc. to take the gator. Once the hunt is finished we will be sure to take plenty of pictures, bring the kills back to our processing facility, and discuss taxidermy options. Gator hunts have a base price of $900 for a 6-7' gator, but then increase based on the size: $1,200 for 7-8', $1,500 for 8-9', $2,250 for 9-10', $3,570 for 10-11', $6,500 for 11-12', $10,000 for 12-12.5', $12,500 for 12.5-13', and $15,000 for 13'+. Non–hunter member add ons: If people in your party/group are not going to participate in the hunt, they do not need any license or permit. All spectators are welcome to come along on your Townsend & Sons hunt free of charge. However, if they are 16 years old or older and would like to help you hunt alligators, they will also need to purchase the $51.50 Alligator Farming Agent License. Youth, ages 15 and younger, do not need an Agent License to assist in Alligator hunting. What to Wear: We recommend wearing a lightweight short or long sleeve shirt, close-toed shoes, and long pants. We leave it totally up to you to wear what you will feel you most comfortable in. It's not necessary to wear camouflage, but we typically wear neutral or earth toned colors (green, brown, black, etc.) If you are sensitive to the sun we recommend wearing a hat, as well as sunscreen. Arizona offers extraordinary trophy color phase bear hunting with many record book boars harvested every year in the southwest. We primarily hunt in late summer to early fall August - November. During this time bears are very active during the day time and spend majority of their day exploring for food. Bears come in many unique color phases, black, chocolate, cinnamon, and blonde. On our hunt expect to do a great deal of glassing, walking, and hiking on spot n stalk or behind hounds, so you must be in good physical shape. These hunts offer a lot of excitement and has a very high success rate. We use three main techniques to harvest our bears, the spot-and-stalk method, the calling method, and classic behind hounds pursuit. As our primary hunting technique, we trail behind hounds. Our second technique is spot-n-stalk, we hike to a good glassing point where a few square miles of terrain can be seen at one time. Once a mature bear is spotted, we plan our stalk. Expect to take rifle shots across big canyons, so a bi-pod or tall standing shooting tripod, good high-power riflescope, and a big, flat-shooting caliber is highly recommended. Rifle shots on spot n stalk average 500+ yards, but be prepared for any distance (longer or shorter) if the need arrises. If you are a bowhunter, this Arizona spot and stalk bear hunt is the ultimate challenge. Rifle or hand gun shots behind hounds is 20 out to 50 yard shot placement. As a proven third technique, we use electronic predator call and utilize hand calling. Sometimes black bears prefer to stay in the thick oak brush, dense pinon pines, tall manzantia, prickly pear slopes, and juniper thickets where they eat acorns, pinon nuts, berries, cactus fruit, or juniper berries. These areas have thicker vegetation and allow for limited glassing. If this is where the bears are located at the time of your hunt, we may use limited glassing and use a predator call. This technique is an exciting way to pull a bear out of the brush and within shooting distance. The acres your hunt will take place on are very strictly managed. South Fork hunters are required to harvest at minimum 140 inch, 3 ½ year old bucks. Having these practices in place for years has only made a good thing that much better. In addition to the doe’s that our hunters harvest, we take heard surveys that enable us to go through late season and remove doe’s in highly populated areas. As a whole – the areas you will be hunting have an excellent doe-to-buck ratio (2 or 3-to-1). Hunter to acre ratio is also very important. Hunt Southern Oregon for Rio Grande Turkey on the best ranches Douglas County has to offer. We manage over 25,000 acres to ensure your success. Spring turkey hunts take place from April 15th to May 31st. We almost always fill with our repeat guests, so book your hunts early. Hunts are all-inclusive and include lodging and dinner the night before your hunt, guiding, and turkey care. Not included are your license and tag, and transportation to Eugene or Roseburg. Fin’s and Feather’s Guide Service is going on its 15th season guiding Rio Grande Turkey’s on some of the best ranches in Douglas County. In fact, Bob Toman, a Fin’s and Feather’s Guest, harvested the number one Rio Grande Turkey in the State of Oregon in 2003. Our turkey hunts include meals, lodging, and field dressing. Alaska Peninsula Coastal Brown Bear Hunt

The population of Brown Bears on the Alaska Peninsula is at an all time high. With an abundant supply of salmon, berries, moose, caribou, ground squirrels and carrion, the refuge provides excellent habitat for numerous brown bears. The refuge supports one of the highest concentrations of brown bear in Alaska. According to Becharof National Wildlife Refuge staff, Becharof and Alaska Peninsula N.W.R. combined are thought to be home to as many as 3000 of these magnificent animals. Bears range from mountaintops to seacoast. Depending on weather conditions and food supply, Alaska Peninsula brown bears usually leave their dens in April/May and return in October/November. Some bears will den much later, or not at all, if adequate food sources are available. My hunting concessions span the entire width of the Alaska Peninsula, from Bristol Bay on the west to the Pacific Ocean on the east. One of my areas is the Island Arm of Becharof Lake; it provides most of the spawning and rearing habitat for sockeye and Coho salmon within the Becharof drainage. Consequently, it hosts one of the highest density of Alaska Peninsula brown bears feeding on spawning salmon that occurs in Becharof Refuge and the Ugashik area. My other area borders Shelikof Strait on the "Pacific side" of the Alaska Peninsula. This is tremendous bear habitat and we have harvested many bears over 10' from all three areas. I employ one guide per hunter. My guides love to hunt Alaska Peninsula brown bears! They average over 12 years guiding experience, some I have worked with for 20 years. Our bears average over 9 feet, with success rates over 90%. The bear season alternates between fall and spring on odd years (2013, 2015, etc.) we hunt in the fall and on even years (2014, 2016, etc.) we hunt in the spring. After every spring season, the Alaska Peninsula "rests" for 18 months until the next fall season!

This property delivers exciting dove hunting opportunities. With the season kicking off on September 1st each year, hunters benefit from both local birds and migratory doves arriving from northern states when conditions push them south. Most hunts are set up around small ponds surrounded by bare ground—prime spots where doves regularly come in to drink during the early morning and late evening hours. Because the area is made up of sandy soil, natural water sources are limited, which funnels birds into just a few key locations and creates fast-paced action. The daily bag limit of 15 doves ensures there's plenty of opportunity to stay busy in the field. The day starts before sunrise with a hearty, home-cooked breakfast. After that, hunters head out to the pond setups. Motion decoys are used to draw birds in from surrounding fields of corn, wheat, soybeans, sunflowers, and milo. Ten Day Spring Interior Grizzly Bear Hunt on Snowmobile

The spring bear hunts take place in GMU’s 13 and 20 that are home to some of the densest Bear populations in the state. The majority of the state allows for a Bear every 4 regulatory years but these units allow for a Bear every year as the population is strong and growing in spite of my efforts. 5-Day Archery Deer Hunt in Arizona

Arizona Guided Hunts also offers hunting options for the desert mule deer, primarily in southern Arizona. Mule deer hunting in Southern Arizona can provide a great opportunity for the first-time mule deer hunter or the hunter wanting a true desert mule deer to complete their slam. If you need your desert mule deer for the slam, this is a very unique and exciting hunting experience amongst desert terrain. Although there is potential to harvest bucks with larger racks, the mature Arizona desert mule deer bucks that we typically harvest in our hunt areas have racks from 18 to 25 inches wide and have 3 to 5 points per side. Considering this is the desert, deer densities cannot be high in such a dry environment. But, our guides have mastered the techniques and have done their scouting homework so that our hunters can see a significant number of deer, again, considering it is the desert. Our hunting style is the spot and stalk method. We hike to a good vantage point where a couple square miles can be seen at one time. Most of our mule deer hunting is done with our eyes through tripod-mounted optics. Once a good mule deer buck is spotted, we make our move from the vantage point for the final stalk. The terrain is very open, therefore rifle shots are usually over 300 yards and archery shots might exceed 50 yards. There may be a great deal of hiking involved, so hunters are encouraged to condition themselves to the best of their ability before arriving. Opportunities have been 100% for rifle desert mule deer hunts with an extremely high success! Opportunities to release arrows on archery mule deer hunts is extremely high!

The country is rich in large grass meadows for feed to ridges and draws of timber making excellent habitat. Snow Goose Hunt in Delaware

Southern New Jersey holds upwards of 150,000 snow geese during the fall and spring. Most of these birds are in Salem and Cumberland county. Generally the birds show up in late October and leave in mid-March. New jersey snow goose hunting presents two unique challenges. First,these birds sometimes will fly over to Delaware to feed for the day. Another second factor to contend with here in New Jersey are the huge tidal marshes where the birds roost. Generally the birds will not leave the marsh preferring to stay and feed on the salt hay fields that are so numerous in New Jersey tidal marshes. But once the weather turns cold that is when the birds head inland from 2- 20 miles to find higher protein food like corn, soybean or wheat. We have farms in both Salem and Cumberland county. All or our farms are inland anywhere from 2 -12 miles from the roost areas for these birds. As mentioned above, our best hunting is the first cold snap when the birds head inland for high protein food. Snow geese prefer large farms and our farms vary in size from 60-415 acres. We have leased these farms for over ten years so we have a good idea of when they will use them. And of course we scout daily and have area farmers looking for us also. Snow goose hunting requires a huge amount of decoys. We use mostly silosocks and some full bodies. More so than any other waterfowl, huge spreads of decoys are an important part to harvest snow geese. Being on the ‘X” is most important but we have had a lot of good hunts (25-50 birds) just getting under the birds and hunting traffic. 200 decoys was deadly ten years ago but today 500-1500 decoys are needed for those same results. Generally our best hunting is when it gets cold and the birds head to the fields to feed. Another good time for us is February- March season for a couple reasons. The conservation season begins and the e-callers really help decoys birds especially the small bunches and it also helps tremendously on traffic hunts. Tens of thousands of snow geese move into our area this time of the season. They are starting to stage to head north and gradually move north along the tidal marshes as they stage. And lastly, like all waterfowl, windy days really produce especially when using Silosocks. Remember we are hunting snow geese that are about as predictable as the weather. These are very skittish and finicky birds that have no real agenda when it comes to decoying. The rule with snow geese are there are no rules. Let the fun begin!

Arizona's Rim Country, including the high and low desert areas, holds the most diverse predator habitat in the world. Our variety of predators ranges from coyotes, gray foxes, to bobcats, and majestic mountain lions as well. Predator hunting during the prime time season or during the off-season or in between our big game hunts. Experience a true predator pursuit like none other in the southwest. Guiding the veteran predator hunter or instructing the beginner hunter is our passion. It is also a proven wildlife management tool for controlling the predator population in our prime hunting areas. We offer guided hunts that are second to none involving an electronic caller and utilizing custom made hand calls. Coyotes and foxes mostly fall victim to the call, but occasionally, a bobcat will stalk-in to check out the situation. Be prepared for some point blank extreme excitement and fast shooting when any of these critters come charging or creeping into the stand. Our exclusive guided predator hunts are offered on a daily rate basis or in multiple days. On our Arizona guided predator trips, we recommend our clients to book more than one day to pile up your Fur-Slam on your trip. A typical day of predator hunting takes place around either northern, eastern, & southern Arizona, and or on private ranches within the state in the higher & low desert areas in the heart of Arizona. Bolt rifles & AR platform rifles are preferred for our trips since we hunt in the open country and these critters tend to be wary. Shotguns we prefer is a 12 gauge with 3" spread with #4 buck shot will do the job when we hunt the thick country. Ranges could be anywhere from point blank using a shotgun and out to 300 yards taken on centerfire shots, but the average shots taken is under 100 yards. 6-Day Arizona Bighorn Sheep Hunt

We are proud to offer hunting trips for the most prized big game species in North America, the desert bighorn sheep (Ovis canadensis mexicana and nelsoni). Arizona has produced numerous large rams and stands up to being the top state as a quality producer. Like all states, Arizona bighorn sheep tags are by a lottery drawing. If you are lucky enough to draw this "coveted tag," you stand a great chance of getting a record-book head. Desert big horn sheep tags are limited to such an extent that Arizona only allows each hunter one desert bighorn sheep in a lifetime. Tags may be difficult to draw, so our possible hunters are encouraged to apply each year and build points until drawn. You never know when you will draw. Some hunters draw with one bonus point, which means it is truly luck-of-the-draw! If you have the itch for a beautiful desert ram and feel lucky enough to draw one of the "coveted tags," we have the hunt for you! Our master sheep guide, Pat Feldt and his assistants, have spent many years in the field with desert bighorn sheep and know them well. Pat is a member of the Desert Bighorn Sheep Society, has a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Biology and is very knowledgeable and experienced in locating, hunting, and judging bighorn sheep. Much of his and his assistants' spare time is spent looking for and observing sheep, whether it is just for fun or trying to video another record-book ram. Pat's many years of sheep experience has allowed hunters to harvest exceptional quality bighorn rams. Several rams harvested over the years have made the Boone and Crockett minimum. In Arizona, you have the ability to hunt two different sub-species of desert bighorn sheep: either the heavy-horned and tight-curled Mexicana subspecies or the wide, flare-horned Nelsoni subspecies. This depends upon which area or unit you draw. The sheep in the northwest areas of Arizona from the Bill Williams River northward are classified as Nelson desert bighorn sheep. The southern area below the Bill Williams River toward the Mexican border is home to the Mexicana. We have hunted in various bighorn sheep units throughout the State of Arizona. Sheep locations within these units vary from year to year because desert bighorn rams have a very large home range. This is due mainly to the constantly changing food and water resources of the desert ecosystem. Rams also move around a lot during the late summer rut before settling down in late October or early November. Your area is scouted extensively prior to the December hunt to locate not only the best concentration of sheep, but the best rams in that area. We can often find the same rams during the hunt that were located during scouting. So, if we find a big ram during scouting in October or November, with patience, we will more than likely find him during your December hunt.

Snipe are small birds; brown, white, rust and black in color, with elongated beaks. The key to finding these birds is finding mud filled, wet, and dark soiled areas. Waterproof boots are essential for hunting snipe. Snipe hunting is regulated by the state and availability is controlled based on current conditions. Snipe are allowed to be harvested in Florida from November 1st, to February 15th, with an eight bird bag-limit. Spring or Fall Rio Grande Turkey Hunt - 3 Day Hunt on Public

To put it mildly – we love our turkey hunting. Turkeys in California are expanding their range every year, opening up new opportunities. In the areas we hunt it’s typically considered the Rio Grande subspecies of wild turkey. We offer spring California wild turkey hunts where you can experience your heart pound as a longbeard struts into view. We can also put you on an autumn turkey which requires a different approach but can easily be combined with several other hunting opportunities. We offer hunts on exclusive private ranches in the beautiful oak woodlands of California and also on public forestland where you can match wits with a truly wild mountain turkey. The choice is yours. Spring California Wild Turkey Hunts: Usually in February the male turkeys begin to gobble and that’s when we start hitting the hills listening and looking for strutting zones and roost trees. A day in the spring turkey woods is like magic. It starts early in the morning where we will set up near a roost tree long before first light. When the songbirds begin to sing their spring rituals is right about when the ring of gobbles echo from atop the roost trees. We will begin some light calling sequences to let the birds know there is a hen nearby. After the turkeys fly down it won’t be long before we will know if the plan worked out. Getting turkeys soon after they land on the ground from the roost is an excellent tactic. Some folks end the hunt after the morning thunder turns silent. We don’t stop there. If everyone in the group hasn’t got their bird we will hunt all day. In our experience hunting gets better as the late morning turns to afternoon. If you can get a gobble out of a turkey at 2 pm, that’s a bird that wants to play. Legal shoot time for spring turkey ends at 5 pm. On multi-day hunts the group is welcome to go and relax for the afternoon or join the guide to try and roost some birds in the evening for the next morning hunt. Fall California Wild Turkey Hunts: Fall turkey hunting takes a different approach. A common method is to break up the flocks of young-of-the-year turkeys that are still with the hen and use an assembly call to bring them back in. This technique doesn’t work so well for big Tom turkeys because they aren’t in the flocks with the young birds. The big turkeys are either alone or in bachelor groups. To kill a longbeard in autumn requires pre-season scouting to understand where they are loafing, feeding, and roosting. Our guides spend countless hours in the fall turkey woods observing sign and marking fall territories. When the season arrives it’s all about being in a strategic location to intercept the turkeys as they move about. Glassing openings and sneaking into shooting range also can be an effective method. The great thing about a fall turkey hunt is that there are so many other species that can be hunted at the same time, that live in the same region – including, mountain quail, valley quail, dove, squirrel, rabbit, gray fox, coyote, raccoon, bear, or even fishing. There is never any downtime in November and early December. Hunt can be extended for additional cost.

Our Florida whitetail deer hunts are conducted on approximately 9,800 acres of private land. All land is quality managed and has been since the early 1930's. Clients are encouraged to harvest mature whitetails; however, we do follow the state of Florida rules and regulations minimum requirement of 3 points on one side for antlered deer. At Black Tine Outfitters we don't have second jobs; we maintain feeders, food plots, and mineral sites on a yearly basis. The Seminole whitetail can be very challenging. It is often compared to hunting its sub-species, the coues deer, to the west. Terrain is thick and oftentimes marshy. Florida's unpredictable climate, combined with its extreme humidity, can make the practice of quality scent control almost impossible. The rut season for the Seminole whitetail can also be very unpredictable as our seasonal temperatures can vary dramatically day to day, causing the rut to inconsistently "turn on" and "turn off." Clients are encouraged to take their hunt serious and apply the basic fundamentals of whitetail hunting to their hunt with us as harvesting a mature Seminole whitetail can be difficult but is also a well-respected trophy. The average 4 1/2 year old buck harvested on our farms typically scores between 100"-115" and will weigh approximately 145-170 lbs depending on the time of year.
