You will be able to hunt four private ranches (55,000 acres) along with approximately one thousand acres of BLM land, reaching an altitude of well over 10,000 feet. Our elk hunts are fair chase, and the terrain and scenery are breathtaking. With only 36% of Jackson County being private property, pressured elk to seek out the protection of private lands for safety, which is where the majority of our hunting takes place. Our ranches are on the fringes of the timber and offer significant agriculture opportunities, making this prime free-range elk habitat very productive for our hunters. The elk herd stands at almost 20 bulls for 100 cow elk. The Colorado Department of Wildlife’s studies show this ratio is increasing, which means your opportunity for a bull is significantly higher than public lands throughout other parts of Colorado. In 2018, studies showed that the harvest success rate for all elk across the state was around 18%; in the last five years, our success rate was far better than the state average. Specifically, you will be hunting just outside of the towns of Rand and Coalmont, CO. Rand is located about 3 hours Northwest of Denver at the base of Parkview Mountain at the south end of the North Park Region of Colorado. Coalmont is located 25 miles to the west of Rand and sits at the Eastern end of the Rabbit Ears Pass. The North Park Region is surrounded by mountain crests of the Park Range, Medicine Bow Range, and Never Summer Range. This area offers open sagebrush country and willow flat marshes surrounded by aspen, fir, and pine forests, reaching elevations beyond the tree line. With breathtaking views of Parkview Mountain to the south, the Never Summer Mountain Range and the Continental Divide to the southeast, and the rugged Buffalo Peaks to the west, you will truly find your place in the world!

Hunting the marshes and swamps of Lake Okeechobee for ducks is an experience in itself. Not only do we hunt on the famous Lake Okeechobee, we also hunt various public water lakes and rivers as well as private land. On our private waters, we hunt a mixture of swamps on private ranches and big reservoirs on dairies. We chase the ducks so each hunt could be in a different location. On day one we might run the airboat in the shallow marshes of Lake Okeechobee. The next morning take the mud boat out into some open water to try ringers, then pack up and go to a private dairy to hunt in a reservoir to knock down some black bellies. No matter what type of hunt you are looking for we will accommodate. If you are looking to complete your ultimate waterfowl challenge, then we can help you with that. We shoot mottled ducks, black belly whistlers, and some fulvous when the time is right. On top of those species, we also shoot blue wing teal, green wing teal, and ringers.

Quality Band-tailed Pigeon hunting guide and outfitter in Northern California. The little-known band-tailed pigeon is nothing like the feral pigeons at the local feed store. For a short window during autumn band-tailed pigeons can be seen in large flocks along mountain ridge tops in Northern California before they fly south further. Few hunters target the band-tailed because the opener coincides with the opener of general deer and bear season. For that reason, most band-tailed pigeon harvest is incidental to a deer or bear hunt. For those interested in some fast shooting this is the hunt for you. The season only lasts for one week but during that week you can find excellent shooting where tall roost trees are growing near prominent ridges. Guided Whitetail Deer hunts are available with options for archery, shotgun, rifle, or handgun. The acres your hunt will take place on are very strictly managed. South Fork hunters are required to harvest at minimum 140 inch, 3 ½ year old bucks. Having these practices in place for years has only made a good thing that much better. In addition to the doe’s that our hunters harvest, we take heard surveys that enable us to go through late season and remove doe’s in highly populated areas. As a whole – the areas you will be hunting have an excellent doe-to-buck ratio (2 or 3-to-1). Hunter to acre ratio is also very important. Low pressure is a huge part of harvesting mid-west whitetail deer. Here at South Fork, we keep ample ground for the numbers of hunters we run, with some farms not being hunted for entire seasons. This is all to ensure South Fork ground will remain the best of the best. We take stand location very seriously. This is crucial when getting close to giant Illinois bruisers. The wind and thermals are taken into consideration on every set. The stand set ups are for stealth entry and exits. Stand location is one of the biggest keys to a successful hunt- second only to having a piece of great managed whitetail ground. Our Florida whitetail deer hunts are conducted on approximately 9,800 acres of private land. All land is quality managed and has been since the early 1930's. Clients are encouraged to harvest mature whitetails; however, we do follow the state of Florida rules and regulations minimum requirement of 3 points on one side for antlered deer. At Black Tine Outfitters, we don't have second jobs; we maintain feeders, food plots, and mineral sites on a yearly basis. The Seminole whitetail can be very challenging. It is often compared to hunting its sub-species, the coues deer, to the west. Terrain is thick and oftentimes marshy. Florida's unpredictable climate combined with its extreme humidity can make the practice of quality scent control almost impossible. The rut season for the Seminole whitetail can also be very unpredictable as our seasonal temperatures can vary dramatically day to day causing the rut to inconsistently "turn on" and "turn off." Clients are encouraged to take their hunt seriously and apply the basic fundamentals of whitetail hunting to their hunt with us, as harvesting a mature Seminole whitetail can be difficult but is also a well-respected trophy. The average 4 1/2 year old buck harvested on our farms typically scores between 100"-115" and will weigh approximately 145-170 lbs depending on time of year.

2M Hunting offers world class Tule Elk hunts. We work with ranches and the state of California to receive guaranteed landowner tags for Tule elk bulls and cows. Every year we receive 5-10 bull tags and 3-5 cow tags. We target Trophy Bulls and manage the herd to keep the quality the best it can be year to year. Guided Alaska brown bear hunting is awesome. The Alaskan Brown Bear is the most coveted trophy on the North American continent. Sportsmen from around the world come to Alaska to hunt the biggest and most powerful of all bears, the Alaskan Brown bear. When you see these bears walk across the Alaskan tundra you cannot help but be in awe. Just seeing them will make the hair on the back of your neck stand up. Hunting them provides great excitement and a trip you will never forget. The brown bear season starts in August. I conduct hunts through the end of September in southwestern Alaska. I specialize in hunting the big brown bears. These bears are big, powerful and must be respected. My hunting area boasts a high brown bear population density. If you have ever wanted to take a brown bear, come hunting with me. I hunt out of spike camps. This puts us close to where the action is. We will be camped where preseason scouting has indicated bear activity and where I believe we can hunt effectively. We will do all of our hunting on these hunts in hunting boots, not waders, and do a lot of glassing hillsides, mountains, and drainages. Unless other arrangements are made, I will be your guide. In a perfect world, an employee would care about the business as much as the owner. Unfortunately, we don't live in a perfect world. I do all of my own guiding unless other arrangements are made. It is comforting for you to know that the guy who is cashing your check (me) is the same guy who will accompany you in the field (me). I put my reputation on the line every time I cash a check. When researching a hunt, you should ask to speak with ALL of the clients who hunted the same time you are considering hunting the previous year. It is foolish to consider booking a hunt with an outfitter before you speak with hunters who have hunted the same time and place during the previous season. It is important to know ahead of time what you are getting for your money. I am proud of the attention I give each client before, during, and after the hunt. Most importantly, DON'T CONSIDER BOOKING A HUNT WITH ANYONE THAT IS NOT WILLING TO GIVE YOU PHONE NUMBERS AND/OR EMAIL ADDRESSES OF ALL OF THEIR CLIENTS FROM THE PREVIOUS YEAR. The state regulations require salvaging the head and hide only on brown bears. I encourage hunters to take home the meat of brown bears in the "ethics" mind set. I am picking up the tab to ship the meat back to Anchorage because I like to see hunters make some use out of the meat. It is not required, but I encourage it. Other species can be added to your hunt on a trophy fee basis. These options are available only if the season is open for the species according to the Alaska State Regulations.

Bearpaw Outfitters offer spot and stalk cougar hunts in NE Washington. Cougar are so over populated that we see them while hunting turkey, bear, and deer. Arizona Monster Muley Rifle Hunt, 1x1, Guiding But No Lodging

Arizona is known for its monster muleys. Not only does the Arizona Strip and the Kaibab hold monster mule deer but the high country and vast southern desert bucks hold some records too. The most abundant deer in Arizona is the Rocky Mountain Mule Deer. Mule deer are found on all terrains from the low southern deserts to high forested northern and eastern mountains. Generally, these mule deer prefer the more rugged Arizona high country and southeastern areas. Rifle seasons take place in October, November, and December. In late November through December, these bucks will be busy in pre-rut and rut mode, chasing other bucks away from their doe and will make the trip even more memorable. The rifle season will be cool to cold temperatures and the bucks can be up and about all day. Shots can be as close as 300 yards out to 800 yards. Knowing this, the hunter must start practicing long shooting distance before the season starts. 2x1 Guided Merriam's Turkey Hunt

The turkeys we hunt are primarily in remote areas and live many miles from human civilization. Unlike Nebraska or other transplant States, these are truly "wild turkeys." They live in their natural forested, mountain habitat with no food plots, no farm fields, no feeders or other human influence. Since Merriam's are mountain dwelling turkeys, our hunts take place in the Ponderosa Pine forests at elevations around 6500 to 8500 feet. The mountainous hunt area has breathtaking scenery and great temperatures of around 75 degrees in the day and 40 degrees at night. Arizona Shotgun Spring Season Merriam's turkey tags are on a lottery draw. We typically hunt for northern Arizona Merriam's turkey within public land, such as the Coconino National Forest. These are fully-guided turkey hunts. Hunters are led into the field daily by an experienced Merriam's turkey guide in order to provide the highest chances for success. Our guides are very familiar with the area, terrain, where the birds hang-out, and more importantly, the techniques needed to effectively hunt native mountain Merriam's turkeys. We conduct 1-on-1 and 2-on-1 turkey hunts, but to increase odds of harvesting, each hunter should consider having their own guide. If choosing 2-on-1, it is a requirement that you bring the other hunter to share the guide with. If you cannot find a hunting partner, you will have your own personal guide and get the 1-on-1 rate. We keep camp sizes to a minimum to ensure the utmost quality of the hunting experience. Northern Arizona is home to the Merriam’s wild turkey, whereas southern Arizona is where the Gould's turkey resides. Historically, the Merriam's turkey was only found in 3 states: Arizona, New Mexico, and Colorado. Merriam's have been transplanted from these three states to many parts of the country, but a unique place to hunt them is in their indigenous area. Arizona turkeys are wild and native birds. This is where the Merriam's originated, so they are pure. There is no hybridization in our areas like some other areas of the country that offer Merriam's turkey hunting. Characteristics: The bright colors of the Arizona Merriam's turkey will amaze hunters that are only familiar with the other turkey subspecies. Merriam's have a cream-white accent on the outer edge of the tail feathers and rump, unlike the Eastern, Osceola, and Rio Grande turkeys (Gould's typically have pure white). It's light colored tail tips are an intermediate between the tan Rio's and the white Gould's. The primary wing feathers are mostly white with small black accent bars (the opposite is true with the wing barring on the other 3 sub-species).

RUT Firearms Bull Elk Hunt, 6-Day

We offer elk hunting primarily on the Coconino National Forest with Flagstaff being the closest major city (sometimes other areas on a case by case basis). The most popular elk hunting timeframe is during the rutting season when bulls and cows are vocal. We conduct an archery rut hunt from mid to late September and an early firearms/muzzleloader rut hunt at the end of September through early October. This is the main part of the rut, so there is usually nonstop action on these hunts. Bulls can fall victim to a call during this timeframe. Nothing gets the blood pumping more than hearing a monster bull elk answer your guide's calls. If luck is on your side, the bull might come charging in for an opportunity to release an arrow. Our archery and early muzzleloader or early rifle elk hunts are conducted mostly in higher timber elevations of 7000 to 8500 ft. Even though hunting is done in September and October, the weather during these hunts are very enjoyable. It can range from 65-75 degrees in the day to 35-45 degrees at night. Complimentary accommodations are in tent camps or camping trailer, depending upon the number of hunters in camp and feasibility. The camp and the hunt area is accessed by SUV or truck and hunting is done on foot. In most cases, elk live in mountainous terrain, so hunters should be physically prepared. Hunters are encouraged to condition themselves to the best of their ability in order to increase their odds for success. If you are looking for a horseback hunt, this is NOT the hunt for you. These three early hunts are placed during the rut when elk are vocal.

10-Day Arizona Bighorn Sheep Hunt

We are proud to offer hunting trips for the most prized big game species in North America, the desert bighorn sheep (Ovis canadensis mexicana and nelsoni). Arizona has produced numerous large rams and stands up to being the top state as a quality producer. Like all states, Arizona bighorn sheep tags are by a lottery drawing. If you are lucky enough to draw this "coveted tag," you stand a great chance of getting a record-book head. Desert big horn sheep tags are limited to such an extent that Arizona only allows each hunter one desert bighorn sheep in a lifetime. Tags may be difficult to draw, so our possible hunters are encouraged to apply each year and build points until drawn. You never know when you will draw. Some hunters draw with one bonus point, which means it is truly luck-of-the-draw! If you have the itch for a beautiful desert ram and feel lucky enough to draw one of the "coveted tags," we have the hunt for you! Our master sheep guide, Pat Feldt and his assistants, have spent many years in the field with desert bighorn sheep and know them well. Pat is a member of the Desert Bighorn Sheep Society, has a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Biology and is very knowledgeable and experienced in locating, hunting, and judging bighorn sheep. Much of his and his assistants' spare time is spent looking for and observing sheep, whether it is just for fun or trying to video another record-book ram. Pat's many years of sheep experience has allowed hunters to harvest exceptional quality bighorn rams. Several rams harvested over the years have made the Boone and Crockett minimum. In Arizona, you have the ability to hunt two different sub-species of desert bighorn sheep: either the heavy-horned and tight-curled Mexicana subspecies or the wide, flare-horned Nelsoni subspecies. This depends upon which area or unit you draw. The sheep in the northwest areas of Arizona from the Bill Williams River northward are classified as Nelson desert bighorn sheep. The southern area below the Bill Williams River toward the Mexican border is home to the Mexicana. We have hunted in various bighorn sheep units throughout the State of Arizona. Sheep locations within these units vary from year to year because desert bighorn rams have a very large home range. This is due mainly to the constantly changing food and water resources of the desert ecosystem. Rams also move around a lot during the late summer rut before settling down in late October or early November. Your area is scouted extensively prior to the December hunt to locate not only the best concentration of sheep, but the best rams in that area. We can often find the same rams during the hunt that were located during scouting. So, if we find a big ram during scouting in October or November, with patience, we will more than likely find him during your December hunt.

Landowner Tag Bull Tule Elk Hunt - 10 Days

2M Hunting offers world class Tule Elk hunts. We work with ranches and the state of California to receive guaranteed landowner tags for Tule elk bulls and cows. Every year we receive 5-10 bull tags and 3-5 cow tags. We target Trophy Bulls and manage the herd to keep the quality the best it can be year to year. Our PLM ( private land management) tags are valid for use from July 1st – December 31st. Mid July through September is the peak of the rut. Bull elk hunts are scheduled for 10 days of hunting. We hunt our Pronghorn with spot and stalk tactics and strategically placed Pop-Up Ground Blinds over waterholes and stock tanks. We enjoy a 100% Opportunity rate. With an average score of 78", we target mature bucks and bucks scoring 80". Jackson County boasts a large herd of Pronghorn, most of which migrate to lower elevations in Wyoming to escape the brutal winters that come to North Park every year. Tags in our units are very tough to draw. In 2018, it took 16 points for both a Resident and a Non-Resident to draw a license. However, there are a limited number of landowner vouchers available to us, and due to the very limited draw in these units, there are some giant Bucks that inhabit the area! Many B&C and P&Y entries come from our units every year. In order to have us apply for a landowner voucher, we require a hunt deposit of 50% of the hunt cost. We have been able to draw archery, muzzle-loaders, and rifle vouchers in most years. This is also a great hunt to combine with our August/September Elk Hunts. Over-The-Counter Bear Hunt Using Pack Llamas

Premier archery and general season black bear hunting guide in California. Bear tags can be bought over-the-counter and are valid for a large chunk of the state. It’s no secret that California has a lot of bears, including both large and color phase bears. Our hunts provide the opportunity to explore remote regions of Northern California where we have permits to access thousands of acres of forest that host a robust bear population. Guides start hitting the mountains in the summer scouting for bears. We’ve had eyes on dozens of bears before the season begins. Food sources change throughout the year and the key to finding bears is to find the food. Our guides will have several feeding locations scouted before guests arrive and we will put you in the ideal location to glass for bears getting fat before winter. We have a team of pack llamas to haul in comfortable camps and aid in game retrieval. Similar to deer hunts we offer two styles of hunts to suite the guest(s) preferences: A true wilderness experience where we will camp deep in the backcountry. Hunts closer to the road system where we spike out for the day but make camp in dispersed or designated camping areas near roads Both approaches are physically demanding and require rising early and long days of glassing. Days can be hot, but we get our fair share of cold or even snow at times. The Hunt A bear hunt begins before first light where we will move to a vantage point where bears are known to frequent. Bears are almost constantly moving unless they’ve found a reliable food source. Once we’ve spotted a bear we will assess whether it’s a mature boar and that it meets the guests expectations. Next we will determine if it’s coming, going, or staying – and plan our stalk accordingly. In the early season it’s not uncommon to see 6-10 bears in a day. As the season progresses into late October and November, especially after severe storms, we tend to see less bears. The ones we do see in the late season are big, fat, and have beautiful coats. Bears are most active at dusk and dawn, however, we’ve killed bears throughout the day and will continue glassing until we find the right bear, switching our position occasionally to move to a new vantage. Even big bears can be hard to spot as they move about the brush. As evening approaches, we will make sure to be in a good glassing position as the bears begin filtering into openings. As darkness closes in we will head back to camp for a solid meal, story-telling, and a good night’s sleep. After a kill we immediately field process the animal to get it cooled off. Depending on the weather we may hang the hide and meat in camp or use the llamas to pack meat out to the vehicle and put it on ice. Bear hunts are often combined with deer hunts when the seasons overlap. If a shot is made and blood is drawn, that’s considered your animal whether recovered or not. Be proficient with your weapon of choice.

Oregon Black Bear Hunt

This year Craig and I decided to expand our usual hunting season and species. Fall and Spring Black Bear is definitely not something that either one of us has mastered. So as an introductory hunt we are offering it at a reduced price per day and kill fee. The kill fee does not change with the size of the bear. In the Spring Black Bears here in Oregon spend a lot of time grazing the south-facing slopes, eating skunk cabbage, and other easily accessible food sources. The warmer weather in the spring tends to bring them out in a hurry, one day they aren’t there and the next they are. The spring hunt will be very dependent on the weather as are most hunts regardless of the species. More than 75% of the hunting will be conducted on public ground. Douglas and Coos County have high bear populations and the chances of you harvesting a nice mature bear are good. In the fall the hunting will be focused again around their easily accessible food sources such as salmonberries and blackberries. Your stay with Fins and Feathers guide service will take place at the “ranch house”. The 4 bedroom 3 bath home is nestled in some of the most beautiful country that Douglas County has to offer. In the spring the surrounding hills and pastures are covered in fresh green grass. Oak trees covered in moss line the road to the lodge, among them you will find blooming daffodils in the spring and fall brings an array of autumn colors. No matter what season it is the setting is beautiful. The house has two televisions, one in the family room and the other in the master bedroom. The master bedroom has a separate entrance, deck, and hot tub. Each morning a guide will wake you up and let you know how much time you have until your departure. Ronnie, Craig’s mom, or Becky, will do the majority or the cooking during your stay. Occasionally the staff at Applebee’s pitches in. Breakfast will be available along with coffee and other beverages. Meals are flexible and we do our best to accommodate your taste. Lunch is always available; however it will not always be served at the house. If you are with us during Turkey season we may be eating in town at lunch time because a lot of the hunting leases are a bit of a drive from the house. Dinner will be served each evening when your hunt is complete. The house has two family rooms one with the television and the other a fireplace and two couches. Everyone here at the house strives to make your stay a lasting memory. We all enjoy what we do and getting to know all our guests. 2M Hunting offers blacktail deer hunting trips on the central coast of California in San luis Obispo Monterey and San Benito Counties. Scouting will be done prior to your hunt date. October season we are looking for 170 class and up mule deer. Unit 54 has a strong population of mule deer, so during the course of your hunt we will look over high numbers of mule deer giving you ample opportunities at harvesting your trophy. Due to the quantity of deer, unit 54 is a great hunt area for first time hunters as well as seasoned hunters looking to take a nice trophy mule deer. If lucky enough to draw a late season tag opening Nov. 15th you will be hunting the absolute best two weeks of mule deer season, when the rut is in full swing. This hunt is one for the books. Archery season is an unlimited hunt. This is an exciting hunt for archery hunters. Again you will see high numbers of mule deer. This country is extremely diverse providing great cover for not only the animals but also for us bow hunters using nature as our camouflage to get in close. By now you have probably seen thermal hog hunting videos of a group of gunners all in a line in a large agricultural field sighting in on a large group of hogs in front of them. If this is a hunt you’ve always wanted to do but have never tried, you’ve found the right place. The Gopher Plantation hog hunting guides have fine-tuned their thermal hunts to guarantee an opportunity at free-range hogs every hunt. We conduct all of our thermal hog hunts on over 10,000 privately owned acres. We not only hunt the agricultural fields we also hunt in the woods over our feed sources and food plots. These hunts are conducted primarily by snowmobile in GMU’s 13 and 20. I run three different traplines encompassing over three hundred miles. If the hunter would like an opportunity to harvest a Lynx or Wolverine they will have to come join me in the dead of the Alaskan winter (December – February). I won’t promise warm weather but I will guarantee you some of the most scenic snowmobiling on earth and lots of it! Wolf hunting Alaska style is always rewarding. We will do some calling for predators as well as setting traps and snares in locales that are likely spots to produce results. Typically we will snowmobile between 50-150 miles a day in search of Wolves, Wolverine, Lynx, Coyote and Fox. If you are looking to only do wolf hunting in Alaska then later in the winter is the prime time. We will stay at several of my cabins for two and three day stints looking for predators to call and/or trap. These hunts have become increasingly popular over the years so much so that I can’t even break away to attend a show to promote my business. If the hunter wants to harvest some of the most luxurious fur on the face of the earth then this hunt is for you.

Spring or Fall Rio Grande Turkey Hunt - Day Hunt on Public

To put it mildly – we love our turkey hunting. Turkeys in California are expanding their range every year, opening up new opportunities. In the areas we hunt it’s typically considered the Rio Grande subspecies of wild turkey. We offer spring California wild turkey hunts where you can experience your heart pound as a longbeard struts into view. We can also put you on an autumn turkey which requires a different approach but can easily be combined with several other hunting opportunities. We offer hunts on exclusive private ranches in the beautiful oak woodlands of California and also on public forestland where you can match wits with a truly wild mountain turkey. The choice is yours. Spring California Wild Turkey Hunts: Usually in February the male turkeys begin to gobble and that’s when we start hitting the hills listening and looking for strutting zones and roost trees. A day in the spring turkey woods is like magic. It starts early in the morning where we will set up near a roost tree long before first light. When the songbirds begin to sing their spring rituals is right about when the ring of gobbles echo from atop the roost trees. We will begin some light calling sequences to let the birds know there is a hen nearby. After the turkeys fly down it won’t be long before we will know if the plan worked out. Getting turkeys soon after they land on the ground from the roost is an excellent tactic. Some folks end the hunt after the morning thunder turns silent. We don’t stop there. If everyone in the group hasn’t got their bird we will hunt all day. In our experience hunting gets better as the late morning turns to afternoon. If you can get a gobble out of a turkey at 2 pm, that’s a bird that wants to play. Legal shoot time for spring turkey ends at 5 pm. On multi-day hunts the group is welcome to go and relax for the afternoon or join the guide to try and roost some birds in the evening for the next morning hunt. Fall California Wild Turkey Hunts: Fall turkey hunting takes a different approach. A common method is to break up the flocks of young-of-the-year turkeys that are still with the hen and use an assembly call to bring them back in. This technique doesn’t work so well for big Tom turkeys because they aren’t in the flocks with the young birds. The big turkeys are either alone or in bachelor groups. To kill a longbeard in autumn requires pre-season scouting to understand where they are loafing, feeding, and roosting. Our guides spend countless hours in the fall turkey woods observing sign and marking fall territories. When the season arrives it’s all about being in a strategic location to intercept the turkeys as they move about. Glassing openings and sneaking into shooting range also can be an effective method. The great thing about a fall turkey hunt is that there are so many other species that can be hunted at the same time, that live in the same region – including, mountain quail, valley quail, dove, squirrel, rabbit, gray fox, coyote, raccoon, bear, or even fishing. There is never any downtime in November and early December. Hunt can be extended for additional cost.

Guided Whitetail Deer hunts are available with options for archery, shotgun, rifle, or handgun.
